"C'mout c'mout wherever you are Flash".

Leonard Snart was enjoying this. He enjoyed the rush of adrenaline that was pumping through his veins. He enjoyed the fact that he could give a metahuman trouble. His enjoyment lessened as he realized his partner, Mick Rory, a meathead goon with a good heart, was setting the warehouse on fire with the appropriated "heat gun", which was basically a glorified flame thrower.

"Dammit Mick, what the hell do you think you're doing"?

"Smoking out the little bastard".

"And killing us in the process", Snart said, using his cold gun to stop the fire, "you need to use that thick head of yours Mick, I know you're smarter than this".

From out of the steam and smoke a voice chuckled, "over here".

"See Snart, worked like a charm", Mick said, charging towards the voice. Shaking his head, Snart followed his headstrong friend into the fray, only to quickly dodge out of the way as Mick was sent flying backwards. Ready for a fight Snart set his teeth and waited. This wasn't the Flash... this was a new player.

"Come Out", Snart challenged, looking this way and that. Out of the mist a blue bolt raced at blinding speeds, too fast for Snart to target. This definitely wasn't the Flash.

Joe West wasn't someone who was usually surprised, but when he got the call that Leonard Snart and Mick Rory mysteriously appeared in the jail, well, you just might say that he was.

Barry Allen smiled as he rolled over and embraced the beautiful Caitlin Snow, soon to be Allen. His smile widened as she snuggled against him, her warm body flush with his. He was glad to have her back. After separating Eddie and Dr. Stein they had tragically learned who the third consciousness was. Ronnie Raymond, Caitlin's former fiancee. Understandably she had taken time off from S.T.A.R. Labs and traveled to her family's home outside of the city. She and Barry would keep in touch, but he missed her. But he knew she needed time, time to process the fact that Ronnie had been alive, Alice inside Barry's brother. He could only imagine what had happened.

A'lx argued with Ronnie, trying to convince him not to do this.

"Eddie will die if I don't do this".

With every ounce of will power he could summon Ronnie took over, not just as lead consciousness, but as host.

Alex could still hear Ronald's scream of agony as the three persons separated. As host body it was from his that the others were taken from, and it hurt like hell. He felt as if he was being ripped apart. She knew it because she had been inside his mind when it happened.

She sighed and rolled over, her bedside clock saying that it was 4 o'clock in the morning. She sat up and slipped on her house shoes. She walked into the kitchen where Kara was making breakfast.

"Could you not sleep either"?

"After what happened in Central, doubtful".

"I understand. What are you making"?

"Pancakes, want some"?

Alex's mood brightened.

"Could you make mine with Chocos"?

"Coming right up".

Alex thanked Kara and turned on the TV, mindlessly flipping through channels, still half awake.

"It's because you and Tobi spend so much time together", Alex said sleepily.

"What"? Kara looked at Alex. Alex, realizing what had just happened, tried to play it off.

"Umm... nothing".

"No, what did you say".

"I said..."

"And no lies", Kara said, sitting down, "we've had too much in the past year, I can't take anymore".

Alex nodded and told Kara the truth.

"I'm a telepath. Not like a metahuman, like you, my power comes naturally. I can control it when I'm fully awake, but it slips now and then when I'm sleepy".

Kara looked hard at Alex.

"Have you read my mind before".

"NO, I would never intrude on others like that. This was the first time".

Kara nodded.

"What are you keeping from me"?

Alex shook her head and stood, shifting into her Martian self.

"My name is A'lx, I am a Martian".
