CHAPTER-11

Aarya was six years old. She was dedicated to the Sith teachings. She learnt to endure the minor pains. She also mastered the basic lightsaber moves. Maul and Sidious made sure that she would completely master the basics before she could go to the Form I.

Far away in the galaxy, in the Jedi temple, the Grandmaster Yoda had placed a hand on his head. He was confused with the recent developments. The Republic was falling, systems were abandoning it, the prophecy was disturbing and the order was falling apart. He suddenly had a vision of a sandy planet. He got up and walked towards the archives. He switched on a hologram of the map of the galaxy. He searched for sandy planets. He was sure the mysterious light side source was in a sandy planet. He was searching through when another person arrived there right behind him.

"Master Yoda." The person called. Yoda turned sharply to meet the person.

"Master Qui-Gon, hmm. Pleasant it is to meet you." He replied.

"It indeed is a pleasure to find you in the archives. I was just deleting something which shouldn't be there." Qui-Gon replied with a heavy heart.

"Need some help you do?"

"No I believe you need some help." He said before moving beside the Grandmaster. "What are you searching for my friend?" he asked with a gentle voice.

"A sandy planet saw I did in my vision."

"Vision?"

"A sudden flash of the planet I saw. Believe that the mysterious source of the light side presence is there I do."

"Hmm, are you sure?"

"Believe so I do."

"Very well then. My Padawan and I shall visit a few sandy planets and search for this presence."

"Thank you I must."

"The galaxy will if we can save it. Have you figured something of the prophecy?"

"Unlucky in that I was. Maybe you found something?"

"Only fragments. The prophecy stated that, Soon, the light and dark sides of the force shall fight. Once the battle rages, neither shall win nor would they lose. The two bodies of the force shall balance itself. The storm of the dark shall meet the calm of light. The hatred of the dark shall meet the love of the light. One shall bring them close. One shall dawn their journey. The two shall destroy the obstacles. The two shall unite. I focused on one point; soon the light and dark sides of the forces shall fight. From that I understood that whoever the prophecy refers to are two people; one will represent one side while the other represents the other side. It talks about the light and dark side so maybe it talks about two force sensitives whose lives will play a major role in the galaxy. The other fact which caught my attention was; One shall bring them close and one shall dawn their journey. Maybe it is about two other individuals probably the mentors who will help them in their journey."

"Hmm, possible it is."

"I shall inform my Padawan about our trip. We shall leave tomorrow. It is better that we find out these two individuals."

"Right you are."

Soon the Jedi masters dispersed. The Grandmaster went back to his chambers. He sat there contemplating the prophecy and Qui-Gon's points. What was the force planning on?

Aarya sat in the hall reading something on the holodevice. She was six years five months. She had developed a certain mindset. She wanted to help people and would do anything for it. She had her education be done by Disturb who took it too serious. Aarya was forced to read a story every day. Maul laughed at it. He was sent on missions frequently. Sidious was busy with politics. Aarya was left alone with Disturb. She was bored and got up. She had finished reading the story. She decided to go and see the artifacts room which was so often kept away from her. She walked towards it. She pushed the door slightly and it opened. She was surprised. Maul always locked the room. She walked inside and switched on the lights. She walked across and viewed every single artifact there. She stopped in front of a Sith holocron. It was large and cube shaped. She moved forward and touched it. Suddenly a lady appeared behind her. She bent forward and spoke, "Darth Vader, the Sith'ari." She then touched her chin and disappeared. Aarya shook her head and walked out. She then closed the door. She then ran to the hall.

Far away Maul and Sidious were disturbed. They heard the prophecy of the Sith'ari whispered by Darth Traya. They heard the prophecy which would mean the end of old and birth of new. The two were disturbed. The prophecy was not heard in years. The prophecy meant danger and safety. For Sidious it meant something was going to happen. For Maul it was like a warning. Soon Maul climbed his ship and left to Naboo. Sidious was in the senatorial meeting. He was disturbed. He finished the meeting quickly and left to contact his apprentice.

Four more months passed away. Maul waited for his master's arrival. His master contacted him in the middle of the night to inform him that he would arrive. Maul waited for half an hour. Suddenly there was a ship which had entered the atmosphere. He turned towards it and waited for it to land. Sidious stepped down and walked to the palace with Maul behind him. The two walked inside and sat in the hall. Maul then moved downwards and bent on one knee.

"Rise." Sidious spoke. Maul rose and sat on the chair beside his master. "The child?" he asked.

"She is asleep." Maul answered. Sidious stood up and walked towards the room which held the artifacts. Maul followed him. The two reached a holocron and stood in front of it. Sidious stepped forward. He stretched his hands out and touched the holocron. The holocron emitted a strong light. The light lit the entire room. Soon a voice was heard. "Gone will be the old, arrive the new shall. Born is the beginner of the new, born is the Sith'ari. Rise it will the new order, demolish it will the older." Were the words it spoke. The two Sith turned and walked towards the door. But then a chuckle was heard. The men turned and saw the holocron form the image of Darth Traya. She started laughing and spoke in a murderous manner, "Began the war of light and dark, has. You can't stop the end of the Jedi and the rise of the Sith. Light and dark are connected. The two shall bring the change. The two shall end the staleness. The two shall rise with hatred and love. Are you ready to face them?" she asked as her finger pointed to Sidious. Maul looked at his master who was terrified. He was confused. Why was his master terrified? His master then walked to a room and slept. Maul to left to sleep.

The girl ignited her blade. She faced six Jedi Masters. Her crimson blades clashed with a blue and green blade. The Grandmaster of the order jumped at her attacking his usual strikes. The girl blocked the strikes. She then let out a large force blast. Two masters were thrown far away. A black man with a purple blade ran towards her. She blocked him with great zest. She soon pushed him away using the force. She attacked three masters and knocked their lightsabers away. Before she could kill them, the Grandmaster attacked her. She blocked his strikes. She was attacked by two other masters. She knocked their weapons off and decapitated them. All of a sudden a bunch of soldiers came with their blasters set to stun. Along with them came another person with a cyan lightsaber. He pointed his blade towards the girl. The troops started firing. He jumped down and dueled her. The two battled through the shots fired. Their duel was like watching two sides of the force duel.

This dream kept on troubling Maul ever since he heard the prophecy. He was confirmed as to who was the girl; it was Aarya. Something was bound to happen which would change everything. Whether it would be good or not, nobody knew. Aarya was six years ten months now. She was trained by the Sith to be one. He recalled the conversation he had with his master,

"Master is it necessary?" Maul asked.

"It is. The child must learn the meaning of life from now." Sidious replied.

"But she can start the year when she is eight."

"No, it is must that she starts on her seventh birthday."

"So be it master." Maul replied bending his head.

The decision was made. Aarya would start working from her next birthday. It was a ritual in Naboo. On the seventh birthday, a child must begin earning its income. Maul taught Aarya how to fix some mechanic parts. Disturb taught her how to cover some wounds. Few other droids taught her how to clean and all those things. Soon Aarya would earn on her own, like how Maul was made to when he was young.
