On the roof of the hospital was a woman wearing primarily white with a thin build. Her torso is composed of five thin discs that droop slightly downward. The widest disc makes up its shoulders, the second widest its hips, and the two smallest its chest and waist. There is a gold ovoid inside of the widest disc, where her long, thin neck protrudes from. Her arms and legs are also long and thin with gold joints, with a small, semi-flattened head with a yellow, crown-like structure on top.
Heading to the air-conditioning unit she took one of her bombs from the belt. Tossing it in the air circulation system a small pop went off. A white mist came out the bomb as it them spread through the vents in the building it is attached to.
"Now. Let's let my aroma wash away that nasty hospital smell."
Moving onto the next one cause the hospital had multiple units. Dashing over to the next she was going to drop one of her belt bombs into infecting another wing of the hospital.
Holding the bomb she felt her wrist get grabbed. Looking over she felt the other get snatched too. Two black tendrils held her down as she turned her and caught a glimpse of who did it. Someone smaller than her with black hair and red eyes held her down. Holding hand out a long trail from what seemed her shadow reached out to her. She tossed the bomb in her hand backwards to the figure in black and yellow circles as white see-through smoke rose from it Dawn let go jumping away from the fumes thinking it was poisonous gas.
"Who are you and why are you here!?"
"So she's female." The woman noticed since her bombs held no effect as they worked after just a whiff. The one in white reached behind her back.
"Again! Who are you!? Did Cacturne send you!? Or are you one of Roserade's?" Hearing those names the woman raised her nose. So she knew about the one who send her and the one she and her employer hated.
"My name is Pheromosa." From behind her she took out a whip. Long hair flowing in the wind she struck the whip at Dawn's feet as the heroine jumped back just a little bit. The whip at her feet the sound of the whiplash was unlike anything she ever heard.
"And my name will be the last thing you'll ever hear!"
Pheromosa slapped the ground beside her denting the roof. Holding the weapon in her left hand she strung it like a cord before whipping at Dawn again. Pheromosa raised her right arm, which she slammed down to strike the figurine and it touched near Dawn's feet. The woman struck her whip right at Dawn again. Sliding sideways out of the way, Pheromosa whipped again at Dawn.
"Back off!" Using her own powers Dawn made a shadow whip and she got it entangled with the whip. The two women in a tug of war Pheromosa was a bit stronger slowly pulling Dawn in.
"Come on!" Dawn cut the connection from her shadow to the whip.
Closing the gap fast she slid on her feet. Rolling on her hands Dawn rolled back and kicked up. The woman lost her whip as she got drawn into close combat.
Dawn struck at Pheromosa's head and she got hit. Using her long legs Pheromosa kicked Dawn in retaliation on the chin. Dawn not deterred gritting her teeth did a quick side kick which Pheromosa blocked. Quick striking with her left Dawn's arm got caught by Pheromosa's hand. Dawn used her shadow power with free hand to hold back the free arm of the intruder as she bended her back fully in a scorpion shape. Rolling through her move expertly on her feet again, Dawn jumped up and kicked her opponent full in the torso making her let go.
"Enough of this!" The woman got annoyed at her opponent. Dawn doing a strike Pheromosa suddenly ran away from her spot making Dawn strike at nothing. Before she realized Dawn felt a thin object hitting right in the stomach knocking the wind out of her. Vaulting up and then swinging a new kick Dawn got hit hard in the left arm this time.
Having an eye on her opponent Dawn got struck rapidly in a row unable to detect how to block them. Being pelted with strikes a final kick send her flying into one of the many ac units on the roof her body denting it.
"How is she so fast!?"
Scraping herself off it the woman placed one of her heels on Dawn's chest. The high heel pressing her down Pheromosa raised her left leg ready to stomp on Dawn's head. Dawn quickly used her shadow to stop the other foot coming down on her.
"Back up it seems."
The woman pressing her heel down on Dawn flew off her. A dark blue figure with spots of white and what seemed like a pink tongue kicked Pheromosa in the side. The woman furious at being touched rolled through it back on her feet glaring at the frog.
"Greninja!" Dawn screaming the name of her boyfriend's cover was happy to see him. The frog seeing Dawn on the ground he helped her up.
"You ok?" Dawn up her feet again rubbed herself off. Pheromosa heard a deeper tone of voice than the one she was fighting against.
"Perhaps that one will do."
"I'm fine. Be careful, she's really fast." She warned him about Pheromosa's speed. Ash was pretty fast himself but Dawn had never seen his full speed yet and if it was enough to beat her.
"Let's slow her down together." The tone in his voice showing again the woman quickly threw a smoke bomb at them. The case breaking a sweet smell began to emit as the woman watched on. The two jumped away from it but tye woman grinned.
"Only a whiff should be enough."
The frog she had her eyes on didn't change behavior much. Still in a battle stance aimed at her the frog spoke up again.
"So you're the one that caused the hospital to smell like that!"
"What smell?" Dawn wondered what he was talking about.
"Some weird smell came into the hospital making the male doctors act weird. The male patients were as well and they started to act like zombies."
Ash explained to Dawn as more words coming from his mouth only angered Pheromosa.
"You're a male! Why didn't it work on you?! My pheromone bombs make any man fall for me!"
"Umbreon?" Dawn asked her spirit what they could be.
"If you are good in biology pheromones are used to try and get a reaction out of someone of the other gender. Those bombs are probably made with chemicals to try and influence men into doing what she wants. Short version, love potion or perfume. Your own experience, she's doing what you have been doing to Ash."
"Why didn't it work on him though?"
"He's an aura guardian. Their powers come partially from mental concentration and deep meditation to keep their focus and aura high. In short, his mind is more disciplined and doesn't fall for cheap tricks and illusions. That or he likes you enough to withstand the effect."
"He's getting a big smooch once the mask goes off." Dawn planning to reward him later her spirit put focus back on her.
"Looks like someone isn't as alluring a woman as she thinks!" Dawn bragged at Ash not falling for it.
Pheromosa seeing the two aimed at her was not going to give into the numbers game. With a huff she turned round suddenly and used her long legs to run. Speeding to the edge of the hospital roof she jumped off the edge fast.
"Stay here! I'll chase her!" Ash told Dawn to keep an eye on Scrafty as he sped away himself.
"Be careful!"
Ash out of hearing range pretty quick leapt the same way as Pheromosa. Dawn seeing him speed after his chase was pretty impressed with how fast he truly was.
"See what you can do inside to get of the stench she left. Others like Ash aren't that lucky."
Umbreon told her to get her head back in place. The human host remembering the promise she made to her spirit that her and Ash's dating wouldn't interfere with her duty. Scaling the side of the hospital she kicked through a window going inside to see if there was anything else she could do.
White followed by dark blue sped along the rooftops of the city. The one in white using her long legs to dash across roofs and the other in blue chasing her by climbing and running trued to keep pace.
"Man she's fast!"
Ash thinking to himself that those legs weren't just for show. According to Riley he was faster than the standard aura user but even he himself started to get a little sweaty under his mask. The woman he chased jumped over a roof to another about four stories higher than the one he was on. Ash mimicking the jump crossed the distance as well but as he came down felt his arms pressed against him and a tight grip holding onto him.
"What the!?" Seeing Pheromosa run further away he struggled to get out whatever was holding him back. The squeeze on his chest got harder and harder pushing the air out of his body. Seeing nothing but large red hands around him the grip only got tighter.
A man with bulging muscles that appear to be sacs full of a red fluid with small white bubbles inside. The muscles on his chest and some on his arms and waist have thin, grayish lines resembling tendons running across them. The portions of his body between his muscles are dark red or black. On his back are two pairs of pale orange wings with slightly darker veins.
"Squeeze the life out of him."
The woman in white watching her muscle with the frog he felt his back under a huge amount of pressure. The bear hug he was in felt like a truck was crushing him. Time running out Ash had to escape fast before he got more damage. Forming a blade in his right hand he extended it to cut through the arm of the bodybuilder.
The sudden shock of the cut was enough to let go off him. Ash now free in movement kicked away the large man with both feet as he rolled over the roof leaving a trail of blood droplets. The bodybuilder got up and Ash looked at his left arm. The blood pouring out on the roof the dripping soon stopped. His muscles were a lot thinner then before but the bleeding stopped.
"It…heals itself!?"
The arms disproportionate to the other now the red man raised his right arm which was more muscular. The woman in white watching him was amused.
"So? Are you still as brave as when the one in black was with you?" Pheromosa leaning on her muscle taunted him now that she had the numbers game instead. Ash weighed his options. He might be able to take them both on but it was going to be very difficult. The woman's speed combined with the sheer force of the man made for a dangerous prospect.
"Still have to try."
Without fear he ran at them. Pheromosa mirrored him as she lifted a leg right in his path. Ash's reflexes a bit more fine tuned then Dawn's could block it and between the leg gap kicked Pheromosa in the stomach. She struck with a right slap hitting Ash in the face with his mask offering not enough protection to block the sting of it. Ash threw a punch as Pheromosa sped out of the way using her breakneck speed. Ash anticipating a hit felt a
The man in red raised his big right arm and slammed it down on the frog. Ash blocking it felt a sting in his back as Pheromosa hit him there with a kick. Rolling through the move he quickly threw an aura shuriken to divert the speedy lady. It worked as in her pace she lost her footing and Ash swept her legs but Pheromosa performed a handstand to move over it.
Feeling the ground shake he saw the big man running. Ash ready for a sneak attack from the woman now formed a sword in his hand just in case to keep them at bay.
"No weapons brat!"
His hand being kicked by the woman he lost grip of the hilt sending the weapon flying through the air as the large red man was in arms reach of him now. Ash caught him just in the nick of time and threw him over his shoulder to the woman that easily dodged it and with a slide tried to hit Ash's ankles but the aura guardian just managed to jump over it before he met the giant right arm of his second opponent sending him flying.
"Can't beat them by myself. I'd just be wasting aura here. Damn it!" He needed to get out cause this fight was pointless without any backup here while beating himself up he wasn't able to stop them. He managed to get a pinch in on the woman's side that seemingly only annoyed her more.
"Now how am I going to outrun her?" He could lose the bulky man in a few seconds but the woman was a different story. Before he knew it Pheromosa already used her long legs to kick at him again. Blocking the strikes his arms were getting pelted. Taking a hit on purpose he cut off her belt filled with the pheromone bombs with a kunai he quickly made.
He tossed them right back at her as with perfect precision formed aura shuriken that burst open all of them. In Ash's surprise and gratitude one of them was a smoke bomb that burst open and covered up the roof they were fighting on. Covering sight of everyone Ash made his quick get away back to the hospital hoping they wouldn't spot him. Going as fast as his legs and aura can carry him he didn't look back, only focused on what was ahead.
If he was chased and he could get to Dawn at least the numbers were equal. Getting close to the hospital he saw almost every doctor and patient outside accompanied by police and the fire department. The males were starting to come around snapping out of the perfume they got sprayed with. Looking out if he could see Brock and Kenny they were in the crowd. Kenny was already acting a little more normal but seemed to have a headache. Brock was one of the few still fully smitten by Pheromosa.
"I hope they managed to get Scrafty out."
Looking for Dawn she found him. From a few roofs across she raced up to him and called him out.
"Greninja! Are you ok? Did you catch her?" Dawn pelted him with questions.
"She got backup. Couldn't beat them by myself so I took my loss." Ash felt awful not being able to finish it as this would only add more on their plate.
"Where's Scrafty?" He asked her as Dawn smiled
"He was also blabbering about her but I snuck him out to the roof with the promise he'd see her if he followed me. I told him to wait for her but when a police chopper arrived they arrested him. So right about now he's not only charged with drug use but trying to avoid his sentence."
He was kind of surprised Dawn came up with that scheme. At least she was confident in her abilities of stealth now and even if the hospital was mostly abandoned it couldn't have been easy with her disguise.
"Where did you get that idea?"
"Your welcome." The spirit in the earring told him. Dawn a bit annoyed she couldn't tell Ash about it as her own designed plan he nodded to her.
"Let's go. We better head to Heaven and warn the others."
Ash suggested as they couldn't do much more now. Their work done they were heading back to their hideout to heal their wounds and tell the others about them slowly losing the numbers on their enemies and to come up with a counter strategy for them.
But late but I was in pain thanks to my wisdom teeth and had to yank the suckers out. Was in too much pain and discomfort to focus on writing but it should be back to normal now.
