Two days earlier
Chase, the German Shepherd, Rocky, the Mix breed, Zuma, the Labrador and Rubble, the bulldog still couldn't believe that just a few days ago their friend Marshall, the Dalmatian firefighter, had propose to Everest, the female mountain rescue husky. Since that moment Marshall was thinking only about organising wedding and was surprised when his friends came to him saying something about bachelor party. He completely forgot about that tradition and was surprised that their leader, Ryder, had just arranged it for him.
Two days before wedding five male dog friends were arriving to the best hotel in the Adventure City. Ryder decided to stay at Adventure Bay to check the wedding preparations. Besides, he preferred to let his grown-up dogs to spend time with each other. Thanks to him, they not only went for a bachelor party outside the Bay but they also finally get a civil car in which they could travel without being on duty.
"Marshall. This will be the best bachelor party ever. You're gonna love it." Chase said parking a car in front of a hotel. Soon after their luggage was taken by the hotel staff and their vehicle was driven to the car park as Chase gave the parking guy the keys.
"I still can't believe that Ryder allowed me to get here for bachelor party with you, guys." Marshall said. "Do you remember when was the last time we hang out?" They all thought for a while until they entered the reception desk.
"Welcome to the Grand Hotel. Paw patrol as I presume." Receptionist said.
"Yes, we have a reservation under the name of Marshall." Dalmatian said leaning on the reception desk. "Ryder arranged it for us."
"Ah, yes. We have prepared a villa specially for you."
"Villa?" Marshall gasped. "We have booked an apartment."
"Yes, but we have made a promotion for you, a villa included in the price of the apartment. Didn't Ryder tell you that?"
"Oh my…" Chase said. "He probably kept it as a surprise to you. We will have a villa."
The dogs howled softly in front of reception desk.
"We just want to thank you for saving Adventure City." Receptionist said while writing something on the computer.
"We are the ones who should thanks." Rocky said hugging his friends. "Marshall is getting married and we are going to have the best bachelor party."
As the Marshall finished writing documents and they got a card for villa, they went to the elevator. "Last floor." Marshall said joining them last.
When they opened the door by card and entered, they couldn't grasp how big the room was and what luxuries it had.
"I do not believe it. Is it all ours?" Marshall asked running around the room and checking the nooks. "They even have a piano," Rocky said trying to play on it. "That's a sight I can live with." Zuma said looking at the windows.
"Unpack boys, pick your rooms and get dressed because we're just starting our best night." Chase said already booking his room.
After half an hour, most of the pups already unpacked, washed out and dressed up into suits. Only Marshall had to get dressed, but he was still talking to Everest through his badge.
"You should see it. This villa is huge. Everything is classy here and the view... Yes, we're going to have dinner and have fun right in the moment... No, I will not lose any money at the casino. Only my friends if they want to. Okay, I have to go. I'm the only one who is not prepared yet." He replied as soon as the others entered his room. "I love you too, bye.
"Geez… our penultimate night as singles" Zuma said sitting on Marshall's bed. "When we come back, nothing will be the same.
"And since you mentioned it, I want to show you something." Chase said, showing them the box with the diamond inside. "I'll propose to Skye right after you get married, Marshall."
"Congratulations Chase." Marshall said. "You will be a great couple."
At that moment they all looked at Rubble who began to cry.
"Rubble, what's wrong?" Chase asked touching his shoulder.
"Nothing, it's just hard to believe that we are already at this stage of life. I still remember when we were young and we didn't think what's awaiting us in the future."
"Yeah, I can feel it too, dude." Zuma said. "But that's what a bachelor party is for, isn't it? For Marshall to feel our company before he will subordinate his life to Everest."
"Okay, ready." Marshall said after spraying with a perfume. "Wow. We all look amazing in these suits." He replied as they were leaving the villa.
They went to the elevator and entered the hotel restaurant where a female Border Collie was waiting for them.
"Good evening. Welcome at the Grand Hotel Restaurant. I'm Casey and I'll take you to your table." She spoke.
"I didn't know we'd meet a dog waitress at the hotel. "Marshall said surprised to see that she had a waitress suit and a pack on her backs. If Paw Patrol could have a waitress, she was perfect for that spot.
"I mostly help in the kitchen, but I couldn't deny the opportunity to host you. You don't know how long I waited for the PAW Patrol to come to the Grand Hotel."
"It's our pleasure." Boys said as soon as they sat down on the specially prepared part of the restaurant for them.
"I already put the menu on the table for you. Do you want something to drink? We have eggnog, wine, cocktails."
"Sweet red wine, please." Marshall said.
"Dry, the best you have, please." Chase added.
"I'd like to check the eggnog." Rocky said.
"Just water. I'm still not eighteen in dog years." Rubble replied.
"Can I ask about one thing, Casey? "Zuma said.
"Sure." She replied.
"Are you free?"
"Ohhh..." the female dog gasped and blushed a little. "Yes."
Other boys looked at him right away knowing what was about to happen.
"Zuma, this is our bachelor party. Remember?" Marshall said immediately trying to get into his mind.
"All right." Zuma said to Marshall and then turned to the waitress. "Casey. You are beautiful and so nice. I'd love to see you later. Could I ask for what you recommend with your number?
"Yes. Of course." Casey said, walking away with a small smile.
"You swore that you will spend this time only with us, Zuma." Marshall said. "No dates at that time."
"We will, but I can allow myself to meet a new girl. Besides, what is a bachelor party if we do not invite some ladies." Zuma held out a pink note in front of them with shadows of poodles with address and phone number.
"Dude, where did you get this?" Chase said.
"They left me on the windshield of the vehicle once. Apparently, they know who to turn to."
"We're not going to invite anyone." Marshall said. "We are spending that night together."
"If you're saying this tell Rocky to put down his tablet." Zuma said.
"I'm just reviewing a book about poker. I'm gonna win a nice sum." Rocky said still looking at the device.
"I think you'd rather lose it." Zuma said taking his tablet.
"I will not lose if I take care to minimize the risk."
"Really? What else is in this book?" Zuma said turning off the device.
"About probabilities, analysis and psychology." Rocky answered.
After a while, Casey brought the drinks and starters with the help of a trolley and a grappling hook from her backpack which was similar to Rocky's for his mechanic work. She then asked about the dishes they wanted. After some time when she delivered them, boys found them very interesting. Casey brought their meals on the incandescent stones so they could see their meals frying in front of their eyes.
"Watch out for the stones. They are hot." Border Collie said.
"Probably as hot as you are, Casey." Zuma said and the waitress blushed again leaving their table smiling.
"Zuma. Again?" Marshall said.
"Well, she hasn't given me her number yet."
"Oh my. I never thought I'd eat anything like this." Rubble said admiring his slice of beef on the stone.
After some time, the boys ate their dishes. Casey took the plates and brought the desserts giving Zuma an extra napkin.
"I made it. New date on the horizon." He said showing his friends a number on the napkin.
After supper, when all of them was full, Zuma decided that they should went to the observation deck. Labrador asked also for a card to the villa because he needed to get one thing. When the rest reached the deck, they started to admire the city at night.
"Oh my. What an amazing view." Dalmatian said.
"Marshall. I have something special for you." Zuma said after he arrived and gave everyone a small glass. "I prepared this shot for this occasion."
"Cool." Rocky said while Zuma was pouring a drink from the bottle to the glasses. "I'd like to make a toast for Marshall and Everest." He said raising his glass.
"May this night would be a minor speed bump on the long path of your happy marriage." Chase added.
"For the night we won't forget. "Zuma said.
"Thank you, guys." Marshall said as they all toasted saying "Cheers."
Small info. English isn't my mother tongue and I'm sorry if something will be written like native speaker wouldn't say. Also, in my country we write dialogues in a completely different way than in English. Due to that this story can be written a little different than the others. Still, I try my best to localize it and adjust for English.
