Igniting the Heroic Spirit
Beni is seen walking through an alleyway thinking about going to the arcade to cool off her head for a while after being mean and picking on Izuku, again.
"Damn it, why did I go ruin his notebook like that." Beni asked herself as she looks her hand emitting an electric spark.
"I just wanted to keep Deku safe from how dangerous the world is, and how it can be cruel to dreamers like him, but… but now it feels like I wanted him to give up on life." Beni said looking sad.
Beni felt really bad for picking on Izuku for going on about her dream of being a hero for as long as she can remember since they were kids, she tried to push Izuku to a different path though her attempt were futile and he just keeps admiring heroes the more throughout the years which she finds that cute but wouldn't show it.
"Maybe I should talk to him again, hope he can still see me as a friend again even though I wanted more than that." Beni sighed as she continues walking.
Beni heard her phone going off with a beep and took it out seeing that she just got a text message from her mom asking if she can pick up some milk and get some hams too.
"Well, looks like I got some groceries to pick up after the arcade." Beni said before making her way to the arcade.
Unknown to her, she just walked past a familiar plastic soda bottle and the eyeball of the sludge villain open looking around seeing Beni walking away, and the eye narrow.
(With Izuku and Star All Might)
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" Izuku panicked with what is happening with Star All Might right now as her hair went down flat and such.
"Are you okay? Is that blood you just coughed up and why is there steam coming out? And are your muscles shrinking or is it just me?" Izuku asked and got handed by hers.
"Take it easy, young man. I can assure you what's happening to me is normal on my part." Star All Might said with a bit more coughing.
"How is coughing up blood is normal? You never did that around you were in TV and such!" Izuku pointed out.
"That's because nobody in the public eyes knows about my condition, something I'm about to tell you right now since you're seeing this with your own eyes. I only ask you to promise me that you won't tell anyone about this." Star All Might said.
Izuku didn't know what to think about at this rate with seeing the number one hero in the world to suddenly be weakened like this, but he wants to hear her story because he feels like he has to hear this.
"Okay, I promise not to say anything after this." Izuku nodded.
"Alright then, just try not to get gross out." Star All Might lifted up her shirt.
Izuku blushes when he saw the bottom half of her huge boobs that is known to be the biggest size in the world, but he tries to calm himself down and look at what the hero wanted him to look seeing a nasty looking scar on her left side.
"Yeah, it's pretty damn gross. Got this bad boy in a fight five years ago, the respiratory system has been mostly destroyed and I lost most of my stomach though a friend of mine was able to get back, but I can only eat very less than normal like any other people." Star All Might explained.
"Whoa, that's rough. Wait, did you say five years ago? As in the fight with the Mistress Toxic-Saw in the countryside?" Izuku recalled hearing about that.
"Oh, you certainly know your stuff." Star All Might commented.
"But no, it wasn't that bitch. Sure, she can throw in a few good hits, but she is nothing to the villain that did me in like this. This villain is much worse, worser that your nightmares may seem like child's play." Star All Might said looking serious and dark.
"(A villain worse that can hurt Star All Might?)" Izuku thought gulped.
"I made sure the public doesn't know about the fight nor my injury, with some help. I can't have everyone know the Symbol of Peace is down like this, and it suck that because of my condition I can only do my hero work for three hours a day then my body becomes useless like a normal person." Star All Might explained.
"No way, I can't believe that really happen to you. The woman who goes around saving every life she reaches, always putting on a smile that helps put people at ease. The brave smile that everyone knows you can do it." Izuku stated of what everyone believes in her including himself.
"Yeah, that smile I always wear, it's true of what you just said but truth is I'm scared deep down." Star All Might admitted.
Izuku becomes shocked of hearing the number one hero is scared as he always assumed that she is fearless, but this got him thinking about her fight five years ago as he sat next to her.
"I became scared since that battle, my life could have ended there if I didn't keep pushing forward to assure everyone their Symbol of Peace is still alive, now I wonder if I'm still that woman they all look up to." Star All Might looked up at the sky.
"It feels like I'm being an idiot now for being scared of doing what I love, I probably sound like a sorry excuse for a bitch right now." Star All Might sighed.
But then she felt something grab her hand and turn to see that it's Izuku's hand on top of hers.
"I don't think you're a bitch, far from it. I think… it's normal to be scared, there's nothing wrong with that, it just makes you feel alive and helps push your forward." Izuku believed softly.
"Wow, that was deep." Star All Might commented.
"Something I learned during the years." Izuku said.
"Well then, maybe you should go for it." Star All Might nodded confusing Izuku.
"Be a hero, if you really want to then you should." Star All Might said making Izuku feel a new light of hope brightening from within.
"But… I should warn you this job is very hard; one wrong move could get you killed, and you'll never come back to your loved ones nor get your name in the history books." Star All Might stated as she got up.
"It's best to think really hard on your future otherwise you'll be a dead man before long." Star All Might walked away and enter the building through the rooftop.
"Oh, I never got your name." Star All Might realized.
"Izuku Midoriya." Izuku revealed his name to her.
"Izuku, right. Have a nice day." Star All Might nodded and went inside.
Izuku is left alone on the rooftop taking in the dark advice looking down at the floor of the roof and feeling sad like the number one hero is telling him to give up too, but she did tell him to go give it a try meaning it's some encouragement.
"Oh man, what the fuck was that about, Star?" Star All Might facepalmed herself.
"It's like you were telling him to give up, bitch move there." Star All Might worried, hoping she didn't break his spirit. She also made a very fast changed of clothes out of her hero costume.
"Well, better get the villain to the" Star All Might stopped herself and she felt her pocket is empty which shouldn't be as she remembers the villain being in there in the bottle.
"No! No, no, no, no, no, no!" Star All Might gasped of realizing she must've dropped the villain when she was in the air with Izuku.
"Oh super crap!" Star All Might feared.
(Ten Minutes Later)
"(Well, I'm not sure if she was encouraging me to be a hero or saying I should give up.)" Izuku thought wondered what Star All Might was trying to say.
"Even so, I do feel a bit relief that I can still go after my dream." Izuku said then heard an explosion coming from nearby.
"Huh, what was that? Another villain attack?" Izuku wondered and decided to hurry there to see what is going on.
However, Izuku did not like what was going on when he got there as his eyes widen of shock because of the sludge villain from before is on a rampage attack.
"Damn it?" One female muscle hero with wrecking ball fists groaned after getting smacked away by the villain.
"(The villain from before, but how?)" Izuku thought gasped.
"Fuck… This isn't good." Star All Might cursed as she arrived seeing this before Izuku.
"Hang on, I'm coming! As soon as I can somehow squeeze my way through this stupid narrow space." Mt. Lady tried to scooch over through the narrow space of the alley.
"Back off!" The sludge villain saw the giant hero coming and smack her foot with her fluid tentacles hard forcing her back.
"(No way, how did that villain escape from Star All Might when she was captured?)" Izuku thought wondered until he remembers that he was latching onto her leg earlier.
"(Oh no, it's my fault the villain got away!)" Izuku thought felt horrible for letting this happen all because he wanted to talk to his idol.
"That villain is wrecking everything, why aren't the heroes doing anything?" One woman asked.
"It's because that villain is making it hard for them to get close. To make matters worse, that villains as a female student hostage." The other woman mentioned.
Izuku shocked of hearing there is a student being held against her will by the villain as he starts squeezing his way through the crowd. Once he got to the front, his eyes widen of horror when he saw the hostage student is Beni struggling to break free from the sludge villain.
"Oh yeah, you're definitely a perfect host for me, kid!" The sludge villain laughed.
"(I have… to break free!)" Beni thought continued trying to break free.
"You will not win me like a toy!" Beni screamed as she tries using her Quirk to zap the villain off from her body, unleashing electricity throughout her whole body and made a spiked club out of it.
"Oh, that Quirk of yours is truly amazing!" The sludge villain laughed and being unaffected of the attack.
"You will… back off!" Beni swinged her electric club at the sludge villain.
Beni Bakugo, Quirk: Electric Bending. She can unleash an intense wave of electric throughout her whole body that can protect her while hurting her foes, she can even create weapon-like objects made out of that electricity. Shockingly awesome!
However, her arm couldn't only move a little because of the sludge villain almost close to taking full control of Beni's body as she prevents the electric club from reaching her face.
"Sorry kiddo, but in case you've forgotten, my fluid body is special that I can resist electricity and good thing too." The sludge villain bragged.
"Damn bitch!" Beni cursed the evil woman.
Beni tries more to break free even though there it has become pointless for her fate has already been sealed the moment this villain attacked her, but she couldn't give up the fight.
"(I can't die, I won't die! Not until I see Izuku again, to apologize for what I said and done to him!)" Beni thought refused to let this be her end.
"Damn it, is there nothing I can do?" Star All Might feared that young girl is doom and there is nothing she can do about it because of her damn limit.
"(Beni… no…)" Izuku thought shaking in fear as he continues to watch his childhood friend being taken by that villain.
"Oh yes, go on and struggle as that will be a sweet thing for me to see over taking you whole." The sludge villain laughed insanely.
Beni felt her body is giving out from the villain getting inside her and may start to no longer respond to her command anymore, and everyone watches as a young life is about to be taken away from this world.
But one soul wouldn't let that happen.
"Hey, someone stop that boy!" A woman shouted in fear.
This got the attention of Star All Might as she looks at the scene again and gasp seeing that Izuku is running right into the danger.
"(Wh-Why am I running towards the danger?)" Izuku thought shocked of himself. It was almost like his body was moving without his thoughts.
"Huh, isn't that the kid from before when I tried taking over his body?" The sludge villain noticed the boy coming.
"I… Izuku?" Beni tried to look if that really is Izuku.
"(She's about to attack me! I have to… distract her!)" Izuku thought gasped while thinking on one of the analyze from her hero notebook.
Izuku threw off his back right at the sludge villain's face with one of the items falling onto her wide eye causing her to flinch from that and loose a little of her grip on Beni.
"Beni, hang on!" Izuku tried to grab the sludge body even though that do nothing.
"Izuku, why? Why the hell are you rescuing someone who's been a bitch to you?" Beni asked.
"I don't know, my legs just started moving!" Izuku confused just as she is.
That was then memories started flooding into Izuku's mind, all the times he was told by others to give up on being a hero, that he is a stupid scumbag who should do what the women tell them to do, those who mock him for his dreams. The time when his mom apologizes to him when he asked her if he can become a hero, even remembering when Kuma has done her best to support him, and Beni tries to make him give up.
But what he was remembering the most about Beni were the sadness in her eyes.
"Beni, I couldn't stand there and watch you die." Izuku said about to cry.
Star All Might heard that shock this boy would go out of his way to keep one person safe even if it means risking his life, something a hero would always do no matter what.
"(That boy… How pathetic of me.)" Star All Might thought angered at herself.
"(I have to do something, no matter what!)" Star All Might thought clutched into the light pole crushing the metal length.
"Damn brat, I just had about enough of you. Time to die!" The sludge villain raised one arm to attack Izuku.
"No, don't!" Mt. Lady begged as she tries to make her way into the fray in her normal size, but she would never be able to make it.
Th sludge villain throws down her arm to smack the boy away doesn't care if he ends up dead as Izuku brace himself for what's about to come, but nothing happened in the next few seconds as he opens his eyes and is shocked.
"Sorry for sitting on the sideline like that." Star All Might apologized with a smile blocking the villain's punch with her body.
"I told you how dangerous the hero job can be, but it looks like you were fully aware of that while I didn't show of the hero's traits." Star All Might ripped the fluid arm off and grabbed Beni.
"To believe in one's strength to protect as pros are always putting their life on the line to protect those precious to them and for everyone to live for the tomorrow!" Star All Might shouted with little blood coming out of her mouth.
The sludge villain couldn't her let be captured by this bitch again, she didn't care if this one is the most powerful woman on the planet as she tries to attack.
"Detroit Smash!" Star All Might threw a punch so powerful that it created a tornado that nearly blew everyone away as Mt. Lady protected the people behind her. She also pulled Beni out of harm's way.
The tornado dissipates and things went quite for a second until a rain drop came in then rain suddenly came in.
"Whoa, did she just… changed the weather with a punch?" Mt. Lady asked shock.
Star All Might stood tall with one fist in the air and her smile showing which everyone cheers for the number hero saving the day again.

Phew, that was a close call for Izuku when he tried to rescue Beni from the sludge villain only for his action to have helped Star All Might to ignore her limit to save them both, and I always love the tornado punch. It's just so epic, and next chapter Izuku is going to meet the hero again for what she has to offer.
