Welcome to Day 5: Kissing. Lincoln and Stella were at school again.
"I'll tell you one thing, Lincoln," Stella said to him. "That was some date we went on last night".
"I know," Lincoln said. "That was a pretty cool dress. Were you able to take some of the leftover spaghetti home?"
"Even better," Stella said.
She opened her locker and showed it to Lincoln.
"I thought that we could eat it together at lunch instead of that icky cafeteria food."
"Good idea," Lincoln said. "I wish Principal Ramierez would get rid of that lunch lady".
"Me too," Stella said. "I still can't believe how we're made to be for each other".
Lincoln couldn't help but blush. The 2 of them went in and gave each other a kiss on the lips.
They thought it would be enjoyable. However, 5 seconds later, Chandler popped up and started taking pictures.
"Stella and Lincoln sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g," he said while laughing.
"Are you tripping right now?" Stella asked. "Haven't you messed with us enough already?"
"Your problem, not mine," Chandler told them.
Lincoln ran off crying.
"Have you no manners?" Stella asked before angrily going after Lincoln.
"Have you no respect for my kind?" Chandler asked.
Stella found Lincoln near Mr. Bolhofner's old trailer.
"You okay?" Stella asked.
"He's been bullying me since the 3rd grade," Lincoln answered. "I thought about running away twice because of it".
"Please don't," Stella said. "Your friends and I would be incomplete without you".
"I'm still nervous," Lincoln told her.
"We're gonna get through this," Stella said. "I promise".
She then kissed Lincoln on the cheek.
"Thanks Stella," Lincoln said. "It means a lot knowing I'll have friends like you by my side".
The 2 of them hurried back over to the main portion of the building to avoid being late for class.
After school that day, Lincoln and Stella were strolling out of the school feeling relieved.
"I thought that bell was never going to ring," Lincoln said. "I couldn't take another minute of that dude, Anderson looking at us".
"I know how you feel," Stella commented towards him. "It's like he's just waiting to get revenge on us or something. I wish there was a way for the two of us to get him off our minds for a while".
"Why don't we head over to your house for a few hours?" Lincoln asked.
"Fine with me," Stella said.
She then saw the others.
"Hey guys," Stella said. "Lincoln's gonna be over at my house for a few hours today".
"We understand," Clyde said. "Jordan and Chloe are waiting for me and Liam".
"We're heading to Chloe's for dinner," Liam said.
"Alright," Lincoln and Stella said together.
The 2 of them strolled off holding each other's hand.
"Something about those 2 feels out of context," Liam said.
At Stella's house, she and Lincoln were in her room finishing up their homework together.
"You know," Lincoln said. "There hasn't been any newsworthy stuff in our school lately".
"I know," Stella said. "No way we can fake news into our show. It just wouldn't feel right. Did you hear Lynn made amends with that baseball player?"
"Francisco?" Lincoln responded. "She just told me about it last week, and Taylor and Pablo shared a kiss during lunch."
"I wonder if that school is why they bullied us that week," Stella said.
Lincoln responded, "knowing that school, it's possible. Speaking of kissing, remember earlier today when we tried doing it?"
"Chandler had no right to mess with us," Stella said.
"Well," Lincoln said. "You and I can't get interrupted this time".
Stella knew it was true, so she gave Lincoln another kiss on the lips.
"Wow," Stella said. "This feels so much better".
"So much better," Lincoln said. "This love tastes like cotton candy".
"I tasted lollipops," Stella said. "Either way, it sure was sweet".
The 2 of them kissed each other again. Love is surely in the air for these 2.
That ends Day 5: Kissing.
Stay tuned for Day 6: Wearing each others' clothes.
