Greetings to one and all.
Welcome to Day 7: Cosplaying.
One Saturday morning, Lincoln was getting dressed, but he was not in his usual clothes. Today was the opening day for a fun convention that pays tribute to the Disney Channel.
Lincoln said to the viewers, "I'm so excited. Luna is taking me and Luan to the Disney Channel convention. Stella, Ronnie and Sam are gonna be there as well. I'm so excited!"
Lincoln came downstairs dressed like Phineas Flynn from Phineas and Ferb. He saw Luna and Luan.
"Hey girls," Lincoln said. "Cool outfits".
"Thanks," Luna said.
"Luna, Sam and Mazzy talked to me about it," Luan said. "The 4 of us are gonna be dressed like the Cheetah Girls".
None of them could wait to go.
As they stepped outside, the 3 of them saw Stella and her mom. Stella quickly hopped out.
"Hey guys," she said.
"Hey Stella," Lincoln said.
"What are you dressed like?" Luna asked.
"I'm Marcy Wu," Stella said.
She picked it because Stella's voice actor also plays Marcy Wu on Disney's Amphibia.
The connection to Asian heritage was an added bonus.
"Sweet," Luna said.
They all got in the car and rode off to the convention. At the convention, the 4 of them ran into Sam and Mazzy.
"What's shaking homies?" Sam asked.
"What up ladies?" Stella responded. "Cheetah girls?"
"Yeah," Mazzy said. "There's a lot of stuff on the Disney Channel we need to catch up on when we get back".
As they all strolled along, Sam pointed at something.
"Hey," she said. "There's a song jam thing going on".
"Let's sign up," Luan said.
She, Luna, Sam and Mazzy went to sign up.
"Have fun," Lincoln said.
Stella then found something.
"Lincoln, over here," she called.
It was Ronnie Anne and her friends: Sid Chang, Nikki, Casey and Sameer, cosplaying the cast of High School Musical.
"Hey guys," Lincoln said.
The others said hi back.
"You must be Stella Zhau," Nikki said.
"Yeah," Stella said. "Nice to meet you. You picked those outfits because you love to dance?"
"We love dancing," Sid Chang answered.
"Especially Kpop music," Ronnie Anne added.
Lincoln thought it was cool.
"It sure is cool," Sameer said. "Let's go have a look around".
As they strolled along, Nikki spotted something.
"Oh my god!" she said. "It's Anne from Amphibia".
They all went over to her.
"Hi Anne," Nikki said.
"Hello there," Anne said. "I assume you heard of my show, Amphibia".
Stella commented, "not just heard of it. My VA, Haley Tju, voice your friend, Marcy Wu".
"That sure is something," Anne said. "I hope she comes back alive. I really miss her".
"What do you miss most?" Stella asked.
"The sleepovers we always have together," Anne answered.
"Who doesn't love a sleepover with friends?" Sameer said.
Lincoln commented, "I can only imagine a Season 3 plot twist where you, Sasha and Marcy team up to turn against the foes that nearly killed you girls".
"I should talk to the writers about that," Anne said.
An announcement came over the loudspeakers.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen!" The mc of the performance said. "We got another jam going down with these ladies. Luan, Luna, Mazzy and Sam, what are you 4 gonna throw down?"
Luna answered, "we wanna sing Cheetah Sisters".
"Great choice," the mc said. "It's one worth rewatching several times".
He turned it on for them to sing to.
When the song ended, everyone clapped and cheered.
"That was awesome,' Lincoln said.
"Thanks," Sam said. "We sure had a fun time on that stage".
"We'll say you have," a familiar voice said.
The mc then announced, 'oh my god. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the real Cheetah Girls: Raven Symone, Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan. Disney's real Cheetah Girls!"
Everyone was screaming with joy like there was no tomorrow.
Luna, Luan, Mazzy and Sam were bouncing the most.
"I can't believe it's you!" Luan said.
"It's such an honor to meet you," Sam said. "Can we please have your autographs?"
"Anything for our fans," Adrienne said.
When they finished, Luan asked, "I assume Cheetah Sisters is your favorite song?"
"My favorite," Adrienne answered.
"Mine's Girl Power," Kiely told them.
"My favorite's Step Up," Raven answered.
"And mine's Amigas Cheetahs," Sabrina said.
"That's cool," Sameer answered. "We're so streaming your movie when we get home".
The kids continued on spending the rest of the day at the Disney Channel convention.
