Return of the GS Ball!

"What?! Zach's missing?!" Sonia exclaimed while looking visibly upset, the two may not be dating anymore but they'd always be close friends much like Ash and Gary were as they knew each other since they were kids! Though Dawn was more upset and anxious than Sonia was as the love of her life was stuck in the past and she wanted to get him back before something happened to him!

Professor Oak, Elm, Birch, Rowan, Juniper, Sycamore, Sonia, Burnet and Kukui were all on the same conference call with Ash, Ash wasn't exactly tech savvy so he had Professor Oak, or rather Tracey, set it up for him. Though the idea was Marnie's as she figured if anyone knew where to find a Celebi, it'd be one of the major Pokemon Professors!

"I wish I could be of help but there haven't been any sightings of Celebi here in Galar." Sonia frowned as she looked towards the ground.

"Same with Unova, sorry." Professor Juniper offered them an apologetic look.

"Nor Kalos." Sycamore shrugged.

"I know one's been sighted around here but that was two years ago, nobody's seen it since!" Professor Kukui remarked while Burnet silently nodded her head in agreement to his statement.

"There were reports of one in Kanto but they've dried up in recent years." Professor Oak remarked with a look of sadness, unlike the other Professors he actually met Zach.

"Same with Sinnoh." Rowan simply spoke.

"I never heard of one appearing in Hoenn, sorry." Birch spoke while offering his condolences.

Dawn looked towards the ground to hide her tears as she began crying. Lucario and Cinderace placed their hands upon her shoulder as they cried comforting their trainer's girlfriend and current caretaker. The other three Pokemon were sent back to Sonia for the time being but Dawn couldn't bear to part from Lucario and Cinderace as they were all she had left of her boyfriend!

However there was one Professor who hadn't spoken yet. "Um, actually I believe I may have something. Kurt, bless his soul, thought he was onto something with the GS ball-"

"The GS ball?!"

"Pika pi?!" Ash and Pikachu exclaimed with visible shock as they never thought they'd see or hear about it again!

"Yes, that. Anyways there's this shrine in Ilex Forest that apparently has a mold in the shape of a Pokeball, unfortunately Kurt passed before he could investigate those claims and his granddaughter has been busy running a business, mass producing the apricot balls and selling them abroad just like Kurt always dreamed! He left the ball in my care however I'm much too busy with lab work to actually investigate this claim, you're all more than welcome to-"

"We accept!" Dawn was quick to exclaim while looking up with a hopeful expression.

"So what, are you going to meet us in Azalea Town or...?" Ash started to ask only for Elm to brush him off with a light wave.

"I'll send a messenger Spearow, you can pick the ball up at the local Pokemon Center there."

"Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Dawn practically rushed out the door, Cinderace and Lucario hot on her heels.

Ash and Marnie lightly sweated as they watched Dawn bolt off.

"That's weird, usually you're the one to bolt off." Marnie commented.

"Well love can make you act weird sometimes," Sonia remarked. "Good luck guys, I do hope your search is successful!" The other Professors similarly wished them luck before disconnecting.

Dawn held the GS ball in her hand as the three walked through Ilex Forest alongside their Pokemon. However as they continued trekking deeper into the forest their view became obscured as a deep fog rolled in causing the three to walk separate ways without even realizing it at first, they weren't exactly chatting as their minds solely focused on the task at hand. Lucario's aura wasn't as strong as it usually was due to his current state so he didn't even notice Ash and Marnie had disappeared until it was too late, leaving him, Cinderace and Dawn on their own as they continued down the path to the shrine while Marnie and Ash ended up going separate directions.

Marnie was deep in thought and wasn't paying much mind to where she was headed until the fog cleared up, revealing that she was all alone with the exception of Morpeko's presence within her jacket as the small rodent slept away inside her pocket. "Huh? What the heck...? Ash, Dawn?!" Marnie shouted out. She didn't hear an answer at first causing her to clinch her fists.

"Great, of all days to not have Murkrow with me." Marnie sourly muttered out before turning her attention towards the left as she heard a pained cry, it was on the masculine side causing her heart to race as she thought that Ash may have run into some trouble! "Oh Arceus, Ash!" She exclaimed while bolting off towards the source of the cry only to discover a large black furred simian at the mercy of a heavily scarred Drapion!

"Z-Zarude..." The simian gritted his teeth while holding onto his leg which was covered in it's entirety with the familiar purple tint of poison!

"Nothing personal but so long as your species breathes air, this forest is protected space! A client of mine wants to tear this place down to build a theme park and is willing to pay me good money to do so, you're just one Zarude so I'm sure that you won't be missed!" Pokemon Hunter A cackled. "And I can sell your pelt as an extra bonus, best thing is I don't even need to deal the final blow! You're too weak to move and that poison will soon finish ya off!"

"Pokemon Hunter A! It's been awhile since we've seen him!" Marnie thought to herself while silently reaching into her pocket to retrieve the sleeping Morpeko. "Morpeko, use Stomping Tantrum!"

"Morpek!" The rodent's eyes shot open to reveal a bright red color as her brown fur turned a violent shade of purple! The rodent leaped forward and slammed her feet again the ground causing large sections of the forest floor to splinter up and fly towards the scarred Drapion and Pokemon Hunter!

"Eh? Gah!" The Pokemon Hunter swiftly turned before crying out as the large rock crashed into his head, knocking him unconscious while Drapion promptly hit the ground and laid in a defeated slump as swirls filled his eyes.

"Huh..." Marnie blinked with a shocked expression. "From what Zach said I thought he'd put up a bigger fight than that!" Just went to show that Morpeko was stronger than Lucario and Cinderace were. Marnie didn't bother to check the poacher as she was sure he was still alive, the poisoned species was more important! Zarude saw her approaching and grunted out as he tried crawling away only to collapse a mere few inches from where he previously laid.

"Zaru..." Zarude weakly groaned out before flinching as he felt something being sprayed onto his poisoned leg. The simian jerked his head and saw Marnie spraying some Antidote onto his leg causing his eyes to widen from surprise. His species hadn't had much interaction with humans before as they mostly kept to themselves deep within forest and jungles, however on the few occasions they did find a human it was always a terrible scenario with them either being hunted for sport or the trainer trying to catch them while they were making a clear attempt at escaping! He never expected such kindness from a human.

"There ya go, all better now!" Marnie offered the mythical Dark type a friendly smile while gesturing towards his leg, Zarude turned his gaze towards his leg and smiled upon seeing the poison had left it. Zarude smiled up at Marnie with an appreciative gaze.

"Zaru..."

"Morpek!" Morpeko cockily smirked in response.

"You're welcome, now you'd best run off before he regains consciousness. I'm sure you'll get a lot of ground on him before then, I hate to cut and run but I need to find my friends. They're probably worried about me!" Marnie gave Zarude a wave as she turned around. "Take good care of yourself and good luc-Aaaah!" Marnie screamed as she accidentally tripped over an uprooted branch causing her to fly right over a small ledge to the ground below!

"Gah, my leg!" Marnie screamed out while holding onto her right leg, the same leg that she'd healed from poison just a few moments ago! She tried to stand back up only to collapse against the ground as she cursed beneath her breath. "Bloody... Ash?! Dawn?! Either of you around?! Anyone here me?!" She shouted while rubbing her sprained leg. "I think I broke my leg!"

Zarude and Morpeko peered over the ledge, Morpeko visibly distressed while Zarude gazed down with a concerned expression. He wished he could help but unfortunately he didn't have any healing abilities! He was silent for a moment before a light bulb went off within his head, the simian was quick to leap to the ground before hoisting Marnie over his shoulder.

"Morpek!" Morpeko's fur turned a violent shade of purple as her cheeks sparked with electricity while growing out in a threatening manner as she worried Zarude intended to harm her trainer!

"Zaru!" Zarude shook his head while pointing off into the distance. "Zaru, Zarude!" He revealed that his pack lived nearby and some of them had the ability to use a move which could heal her bones!

"Morpek..." Morpeko looked uncertain but she didn't have any better ideas. Morpeko narrowed her eyes before nodding in agreement. "Morpek!" Though she was sure to threaten Zarude by stating that she'd make him pay if this was a trick!

Zarude smirked to himself as the two walked down the forest trail, unaware that they were being tailed by a now recovered Pokemon Hunter who had awakened on account of Marnie's pained and anger induced shouts!

"Fascinating, wonder where he's taking her..." The poacher silently tailed them back, sticking to the shadows until they arrived at a small clearing within the forest where a large pack of Zarude were residing! The poacher's jaw dropped as he looked around with an awed expression, spotting tiny Zarude walking around while some female Zarude even carried eggs which had markings resembling the species! The poacher clenched his fist and shook his head as he took his leave, withdrawing his Rotom Phone as he readied to inform his client that the deal was off.

"Is the Zarude dealt with?"

"Not exactly, I-"

"Geez, did you lose to that Galarian neanderthal again?"

"No, that goth chick he hangs around with is here but I haven't seen him!"

"Well then what is the problem this time?"

"It's more than just one Zarude, it's a whole family of them! Mothers, children too! Sorry but the deal is off, I may be a poacher but I'm not committing genocide! Killing babies is a line that even I won't cross!"

"Fine, I already had a plan in place in case you flaked out on me! I'll just deal with this myself!"

Marnie couldn't help but tense up as the Zarude she helped brought her back home to it's pack and as some Zarude closed in she attempted to sit up only to utter out a pained groan as her leg hurt! "Ugh..."

"Zaru..." The Zarude she assisted held out his paw as if telling her to stop as the other Zarude surrounded her. The simian Pokemon gazed down at her leg with visible looks of concern before crying out as bright green vines erupted from their bodies and dug into the ground around them while some wrapped around Marnie's injured leg.

"Zaru, zaru, Zarude, zaru, zaru!" The Zarude chanted as a bright green glow enveloped the area, temporarily blinding Marnie but she wasn't about to complain about that as she felt the pain leave her leg. She soon opened an eye and gave her leg a light kick before laughing out as she looked up towards the Zarude with an appreciative look.

"Thanks so much Zarude, really you didn't have to-"

"Zaru!" Zarude shook their head and merely smiled as they pointed towards the Zarude she had helped, apparently seeing it as a way to pay her back. Though that didn't necessarily meant they trusted her as once she was back on her feet, the group began headbutting her as they tried pushing her out of the clearing!

"A-Alright alright, I can tell that you lot don't trust humans that well. I won't trouble you."

Marnie turned to leave before pausing in place as a rather large chainsaws began humming. She shot a quick look behind her before gasping out as a giant mech designed after a Mega Pinsir came into view as trees fell down around it courtesy of it's chainsaw blades.

"What the-?! Team Rocket is that you?!" Marnie never encountered one of the Rocket trio's mechs but she'd heard all about them from Ash, May, Dawn, and Serena!

"Team Rocket?! Don't throw me into the same class as those degenerate losers, I am a purebred Kalosian hailing from one of the world's richest families! It is I, Chad Buxaplenty!" A mechanic voice shouted though it didn't appear as if the mech was actually being piloted by a person, there was no way a rich asshole would actually put himself in harm's way. "I intend on transforming this forest into a theme park but unfortunately the laws of this planet forbid me from doing such as there's an 'endangered' species here, I plan on correcting that error by making the Pokemon extinct! There forth making this land no longer sacred or protected!"

"You're an idiot, don't you know where we are?! This is Johto! I may not know much about this region but even I know that Suicune aren't forgiving to those that ruin nature! Do you really want to incur the wrath of a legendary Pokemon?!" Marnie shouted while the male Zarude all blindly rushed the Mega Pinsir mech and began slashing away to give the mothers and younger Zarude a chance to escape! The Zarude that Marnie helped could be seen fighting amongst them but to no avail as no matter how hard they scratched they just couldn't make a dent!

"Suicune? Oh I wouldn't worry about that, you see I actually hired somebody else to taint the water around here so they could lure her into a trap!" Chad laughed while the Mega Pinsir mech gave a kick, sending the Zarude flying away! "And I wouldn't bother trying to slice this mech open, I prepared a strong alloy to protect it from claw marks! You'll have to dish out heavier attacks than that to get at me!"

"Heavier attacks..?" Marnie thought for a moment before flashing a sly smirk. "Zarude stand back, I don't want you to get hurt! Houndom let's melt this rich boy's toy with Flamethrower!" Marnie cried out as she tossed forward the ball containing the Johtonian wolf!

"Houndoooooom!" Houndoom howled before firing off a large stream of fire as the Zarude all dived and ducked for cover! The flame flew through the air before making contact with the mech's body, whatever the alloy was it sure wasn't fire resistant as it started to melt away exposing a set of gears beneath! Though it'd take a long more than fire to destroy those and Zarude's claws wouldn't work as it appeared to be made of the same alloy the outer shell was made from!

"Morpeko use Aura Wheel!" Marnie was quick to shout.

"Morpek!" A bright blue energy wheel formed around Morpeko as she blasted off the ground and flew towards the giant mech, her cheeks sparked as she unleashed a heavy load of electricity from within the mech, stunning it as the Zarude all cheered as it appeared they won! However the mech soon charged back up and powered on as it began moving closer towards Marnie before taking a quick swing at her and the Zarude, showing that Chad viewed her life just as disposable as the Zarude were to him! Marnie and Houndoom yelped as they dived out of the way while Morpeko went flying out of the mech as it leaned forward. Marnie gritted her teeth as she wondered how on earth she was going to beat this thing!

"That Morpeko sure is powerful but it'll take more than just one tiny rodent to beat my ten million dollar mech!"

Another electric blast fired off at the mech's chest causing Marnie to quickly turn as she thought that Ash had found her only to see Pokemon Hunter A standing behind her alongside an Eelektross. Marnie was stunned to see the poacher actually helping her out but wasn't going to turn down the help.

"Morpeko use Aura Wheel once more!"

"Morpek!"

"A?! You're actually helping her?! Traitor!"

"You knew the rules when you hired me, I don't kill babies and I'm not about to let you do that either!" The Pokemon poacher exclaimed before shouting. "Zap Cannon!"

Though even working together the combined Electrical attacks weren't enough to fully shut down the mech, merely shut it down. Though despite this neither relented as they kept ordering Morpeko and Eelektross to push on and hit him harder though as time progressed the two Electric types were noticeably tiring out.

"Mor... Morpek..."

"Eelektross..."

"Hahaha, fools! Your Pokemon are tired while my mech is still operational! I told you resistance is futile, there's no way that you'll destroy this-" A large and powerful bolt of blue electricity fired off from behind Marnie and flew towards the Mega Pinsir mech before making contact with it's inner gears resulting in a large explosion that took the robot out causing it to burst into tiny pieces of metal and bolts that flew everywhere!

"Huh?" Marnie, Hunter A and the Zarude all turned to see the legendary Pokemon Raikou standing there. It appeared he came to assist the overwhelmed Suicune, it just took him awhile to get here on account of being across the region. The Raikou smirked at Marnie and gave her a nod of acknowledgement and respect before rushing off as quick as he came! "Whoa was that...?"

"Raikou." Hunter A confirmed while staring after him. The poacher then turned to the Zarude before giving them a bow. "I promise to keep the location of your home a secret." The poacher turned to take his leave, disappearing into the darkness of the forest as he sought out his next job while leaving Marnie behind with the Zarude.

Marnie turned to the Zarude and offered them a warm smile as they gathered around and cheered her on before hoisting her into the air above!

"Zaru zaru zaru! Zarude!" Zarude chanted as they declared her their hero!

"H-Heh, thank you! I-I'd appreciate it if ya let me go now, it's been hours since I last saw my friends and no doubt all the explosions and sounds of crashing trees got them worried. I need to find them!" The Zarude all nodded before putting her back down onto the ground though the Zarude she saved looked rather upset as she began taking her leave. Zarude let out a sigh and turned his back before looking up as the eldest Zarude, the leader, approached and placed his hand upon his shoulder.

"Zaru..." Zarude spoke while giving a light nod towards Marnie as if to tell the younger Zarude to go get her!

Zarude's eyes lit up as he gave his father an appreciative look, quickly throwing his arms around him before rushing off after Marnie!

"Zaruuuu!"

"Eh?" Marnie turned as she heard a Zarude coming after her. "What now-Oh, it's you. Hello again, you need something?"

"Zaru..." Zarude softly spoke while focusing his gaze upon her belt.

"You want to come with me...?" Marnie questioned with a raised eyebrow. This sort of thing didn't usually occur to her as it was more of an Ash or Zach scenario but she recognized the signs.

"Zaru!" Zarude grinned while giving a nod of confirmation. Marnie laughed before tossing a Dusk Ball at the mythical Pokemon.

"Well then, welcome to the team Zarude!"

"Morpek!" Morpeko cheered as the Dusk Ball flew towards Zarude before opening up as it made it's approach, a bright red beam engulfed Zarude's body as he was sucked into the ball, the Dusk ball soon shook back and forth before chiming out to indicate the capture a success!

"Alright, we caught Zarude!"

"Morpek!" Morpeko posed alongside Marnie as Zarude's ball transferred itself away to her brother's care.

"Now let's find the others!"

"Marnie?! Dawn?! Cinderace?! Lucario?! Anyone?!" Ash called out as he walked through a different part of the forest.

"Pika pi?!" Pikachu called out alongside him but to no avail as they didn't hear anything, in fact even the noises of the forest itself began to die away as they found themselves exiting it before coming across a large lake!

"I guess we took a wrong turn," Ash scratched at his cheek and uttered out a nervous chuckle while Pikachu sweat dropped.

"Pi..."

"Let's turn around and-Hey, what's going on?" Ash couldn't help but divert his attention to the right as a Garbodor came into view, which was quite the odd sighting for Johto. A look of alarm soon appeared across his face as he saw the water turning a toxic shade of purple while an unusual colored Suicune could be seen battling it out with a Mega Manectric. The Suicune was a lighter shade of blue than most Suicune and it's mane was a dark blue color rather than the usual purple! The Suicune appeared to be tiring as upon closer examination, it was being ganged up on by an Skuntank, Roserade and Breloom on top of the Mega Manectric!

Ash gritted his teeth and growled out at the blatant disrespect the individual was showing for ganging up on Suicune like that, it was clear that Suicune wasn't the one that initiated the attack! "Hey, stop that right now!"

"Huh?" The culprit turned to reveal a woman around the same age as Leroy, Cletus, and Hunter's A and B. She had a light skin tone much like the two Unovan brother's though she didn't appear to be related to them as she lacked the accent and didn't have the same red eyes that they along with their older brother Lenny had. Her hair was a long sleek black color with light blue hair lights which made it appear as if one was looking at the starry night sky while her eyes were a bright purple color. Her uniform appeared to be that of Team Galactic's only modified and colored entirely black with a large red X covering the Team Galactic logo.

"Who are you...?" Ash questioned with a narrowed gaze as he'd never seen her before.

"The name's Andromeda... and you... you're Ash Ketchum, the one that put me out of a job!" The woman screeched out. "After Team Galactic disbanded I was forced to work as a common criminal grunt until I got notable enough to act as a mercenary, somebody's paying me a lot of good money to catch this Suicune... enough to retire I might add! So I suggest you crawl back to whatever rat hole you came from and leave me be!"

Ash took one look at Suicune as the Water legendary uttered out a pained cry. "Yeah that's not happening, you already beat Suicune you're just hurting her now! Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

"Pika...chuuuuu!" Pikachu's cheeks sparked as he fired off a bolt of electricity in an attempt to knock all the Pokemon out at once! However he'd find his lighting redirected to Manectric as the Mega seemingly had the ability Lightning Rod, making him immune while also simultaneously making Electric attacks futile!

"Alright that's fine, I've got other Pokemon! Scyther, Gardevoir, Latias, Snorlax, Tyranitar I choose you!"

"Scyther!"

"Gardevoir!"

"Latiiii!"

"Snorlax!"

"Tyrani!" The Pokemon cried out as they emerged from their Pokeballs. Scyther's attention diverted towards Ash's hair, feeling a strange magnetic pull towards the metallic crystal that was lodged in the back. Having gone unnoticed since the previous day and somehow not flying off while Ash rode Latias across the world! Scyther stared at the rock in a hypnotic fashion while Ash was quick to order the other Pokemon.

"Scyther use Aerial Ace on Roserade, Gardevoir use Psychic on Garbodor, Snorlax use Hyper Beam on Skuntank, Tyranitar use Giga Impact on Manectric, Latias use-!" Ash was interrupted as Scyther pinned him to the ground causing the other Pokemon to turn around with concern.

"Scyther what gives? This isn't like you!" Ash tried pushing Scyther off of his body as Scyther ran his scythes through his hair before making contact with the crystal that came lodged from Arcanine's mane.

"Scyther!" He cried out as a bright blue glow surrounded his body however unlike the transform that turned Zach's Scyther into a Scizor, Ash's transformation was drastically different as a rocky protective shell formed around Scyther's body while his scythes turned into sharp rocky axes! Ash's eyes soon widened as he recalled what they theorized was a long extinct evolution of Scyther but how...?

"Scyther...?"

"Master that rock.. it turned Scyther into... Kleavor? Or at least that's what he is calling himself." Latias spoke to Ash through their connection.

"Unknown species acquired!" Ash's Rotom Phone read out from within his pocket.

"What the-?!" Andromeda slowly backed away with a stunned expression as Kleavor began breathing rather heavily while a frenzied look filled his eye.

"Kleavor... are you okay?" Ash questioned.

"Kleavor!" Kleavor rushed forward and began mindlessly and relentlessly slashing his stone axed hands at friend and foe alike, knocking Ash's Pokemon to the ground though not truly knocking them out as he merely caught them by surprise save for Gardevoir who quickly teleported herself out of range to grab hold of Ash in case Kleavor decided to go for him too! Kleavor then slashed at Garbodor, Mega Manectric, Skuntank, Roserade and Breloom knocking all the Pokemon out despite his disadvantage against some as he unleashed his full fury upon them, repeatedly slashing his axes!

"Kleavor return!" Ash tried returning Kleavor several times but the Pokemon proved to be too fast for him, the frenzied Pokemon slashed at Andromeda, cutting into her arm while elbowing her head hard enough to knock her out, preventing Kleavor from going further as his fury told him the job was done! Kleavor then panted heavily as he shot a quick look around before spotting the injured Suicune who was dropped on her knees and left vulnerable out in the open! Kleavor clashed his axed hands against each other as he rushed forward and pulled back in an attempt to cut her down only for Pikachu to leap in front of him, cheeks sparked before unleashing a powerful electrical blast upon him! Kleavor was briefly stunned though it appeared his frenzy was more powerful than the output of Pikachu's electricity against him! Kleavor slashed at Pikachu, sending the electric mouse flying off across the lake before Kleavor rushed towards Suicune as he intended on ending this!

"Kleavor stop!" Ash raced forward as fast as he could before positioning himself in front of the injured Suicune, holding his arms out as he attempted to shield Suicune. His heart raced as Kleavor blindly charged at him but he took a deep breath and kept his eyes open. "I know you won't hurt me!"

"Kleavor!" Kleavor raised his axed shaped hand as he prepared to strike causing Ash to temporarily flinch but right before he could make contact, Kleavor suddenly froze up as memories of the two interacting flashed through his mind. Kleavor shook his head as his axe stopped while pressed right against Ash's neck, an apologetic look formed within Kleavor's eyes as he backed away. "Kleavor..."

"He says he's sorry, he just lost control upon gaining his evolution. It was an unknown sensation and he couldn't help but feel driven by his newfound power!" Latias explained to Ash.

"Kleavor, it's okay. It wasn't your fault, plenty of Pokemon I know have lost control at some point! I'd never hold this against you!"

Kleavor smiled at Ash before turning his attention towards the passed out mercenary however much to Ash and Kleavor's shock she was gone!

"What the..? I could have sworn you knocked her out!"

"Kleavor..." Kleavor nodded as he thought so too before Ash turned towards Suicune, reaching into his pocket for a Full Restore before applying it to the legendary Pokemon. Suicune flinched before offering Ash an appreciative look as she slowly raised back to her feet. The legendary beast then uttered out a loud howl as a blue light flew from her body, restoring the tainted water to normal while also healing any inflicted or harmed Pokemon that laid nearby or within the water!

The legendary beast then turned towards Ash and bowed her head before fixating her gaze upon Ash's belt. "Cune..."

"Eeee! She wants to go with you! But what else should I expect from the Chosen One?!" Latias exclaimed.

Ash sweated before shooting Latias a light glare. "I told you to stop calling me that..."

"Sorry, it slipped out!" Latias giggled out.

Ash turned back to Suicune and reached for a Pokeball to catch Suicune before pausing as he realized that would leave the area around them unprotected. "Wait wouldn't...?"

"Cuneeee!"

"Cuneee!"

"Cuneeee!" Several Suicune appeared on the lake and stared directly towards Ash and the alternate colored Suicune, revealing that Johto had several and they came running as soon as they sensed this one was in peril!

Ash stared at the Suicune before looking back at the shiny one. "You sure..?"

"Cune!"

Ash smiled while holding out the Pokeball to Suicune. "Alright then, welcome to the team Suicune!"

"Suicune!" The legendary beast headbutted the Pokeball causing a bright red light to engulf her body before she was sucked into the ball which shook twice within Ash's grip before chiming out to indicate the capture complete!

"Suicune the Aurora Pokemon. Suicune embodies the compassion of a pure spring of water. It runs across the land with gracefulness. This Pokemon has the power to purify dirty water!"

The Pokeball soon whisked itself away to Professor Oak's lab.

"I can't wait to start training with her!" He exclaimed before wondering what the others were up to. "Let's go find the others."

"Pika!"

Dawn, Lucario and Cinderace managed to find the shrine without any trouble however they didn't realize the others weren't there until they got there as all three were silent with worry.

"Huh?" Dawn shot a quick look around before shrugging as she figured that Ash and Marnie were probably okay, she placed the GS ball upon the shrine's offering and stepped back as a golden glow surrounded the ball before a pink Celebi emerged from within!

"Finally I feel as if I was trapped in that thing for a thousand years! You there, Lucario what year is it?" The pink Celebi asked with a feminine voice.

"2021." Lucario responded causing Celebi's eyes to widen.

"I was inside for a thousand years?! Almighty Arceus!" Celebi turned to fly off. "Well I ain't sticking around here, I've got to find my boyfriend! I'm sure that he's worried sick about me!"

"Ace...?" Cinderace tilted her head as she wondered who Celebi could be talking about, anyone that was around back then would most likely be dead!

"Wait!" Dawn tearfully cried out as Celebi neared the peak of the tree line. Celebi turned to look at Dawn before tilting her head.

"What is it, human girl?"

"I-I'm looking for my boyfriend too but I can only reach him with the help of a time traveler! Y-You see he's trapped in the past and said to be going up against Palkia! He won't last against Palkia, not on his own! Not even Ash or Cynthia could!" Tears fell from Dawn's eyes as she pleaded with Celebi. "Please I'm begging you, I need him back! He's constantly been on my mind since the day I first met him and my emotions have only grown stronger the more I've gotten to know him, I have no doubt within my mind that he's my soulmate!"

"Carrr!"

"Ace!" Lucario and Cinderace added in desperate pleas of their own.

Celebi frowned as she felt empathy for Dawn, she knew all too well what being separated from a soulmate was like as the same thing happened to her! Unlike certain Pokemon, humans weren't blessed with immortality and had a short time together in comparison to the time that Celebi and her lover had. She couldn't just up and leave her, it appeared as if Dawn and Cinderace were nearing their breaking points!

"Oh very well but you must swear to release me once I help you! I have no intention of being trapped in a Pokeball for any longer than I have to!"

"O-Of course, anything you want! Thank you so much!" Dawn wiped tears from her eyes while thanking the mythical Pokemon while Cinderace and Lucario offered her some thanks of their own.

"You got Celebi?! That's great!" Ash exclaimed as the three reunited in Azalea Town.

"Yep, now we just need to pick up Brock and head to Sinnoh!" Dawn exclaimed before quickly releasing Corviknight. "Now let's go get him so we can get the setting from the lake spirits!"

Ash couldn't help but sweat as Dawn had Corviknight take right off before flying towards the direction of the Alola region!

"Now I know how you guys feel when I do that..." He chuckled while releasing Latias from her Pokeball.

Marnie rolled her eyes lightly and punched his arm before giving his cheek a quick kiss. "Well I'd be acting the same way if the man I loved was stuck in the past!"

"Lux..." Luxray stood up and stared off, ear twitching as he sensed two different people approaching the makeshift tent that Zach and him had set up.

"Huh? What is it Luxray?" Zach questioned as he stirred from his sleep before going quiet as he took note of the approaching Adaman and Irida. The two clan leaders gave each other a look as they met before narrowing their eyes as it appeared they had the same idea. Adaman quickly broke away and rushed forward, wasting no time in cutting to the chase.

"I heard all about your banishment from Jubilife Village, quite unfair of Kamado but you're welcome to join Diamond Clan and live with me, Arezu and Rei!" Amado offered.

Irida huffed as she walked forward before making her own proposition. "I'm sorry to hear about your banishment, that was quite rude and unfair of him to do so especially when you're still getting over Akari's death." Irida frowned as she gazed towards the ground before looking back up at him. "I know there's nobody in Pearl Clan waiting for you but I'm more than willing to extend my hand of friendship and offer you a place to stay, it's the least I can do for your help with Lian and Calaba!"

Zach was momentarily stunned as his gaze constantly flickered between his two friends with a look of uncertainty. Adaman impatiently yet quietly tapped his foot while the two silently awaited his response, it took a long while before he answered. "I-I think I'll have to accept Irida's offer, sorry Adaman but I just want some time alone and seeing Rei will just remind me of Akari."

"I understand." Adaman clasped his hands together and bowed while offering Zach a smile, showing there were no hard feelings. Adaman turned to take his leave while Irida reached out to take Zach's hand, helping him back to his feet.

"You lost most your stuff when Kamado kicked you out didn't you?" She asked while looking towards his notably empty satchel.

"Yeah, I-Almighty Sinnoh! The plates!" Zach gasped upon realizing they were still in town, not knowing that Shade's Alakazam took off with them.

"The plates the mighty nobles trusted you with?" Irida frowned but didn't hold it against him, at least he knew where they were. She placed his hand on his shoulder and offered him a comforting smile. "I'll have Lian go and fetch them for you, I'd go myself but I think it's important that we get you settled into your new home!" Irida also wanted to introduce him to a friend that was going through a similar loss, not knowing their loved ones met their end by the same individual. She was sure that Zach and Zorua would be able to heal together and the sooner the better as Gaeric seemed to be hiding something, suggesting that Avalugg had met the same fate that Lilligant and Kleavor had before him and if that was the case then they needed to fix that as soon as possible else Pearl Village might meet it's end courtesy of an avalanche!

And that's it for the modern day chapters until the frenzied Pokemon are quelled. Brock joining up with them and them meeting the lake trio won't take that long or be eventful so I'm just going to throw that into the final Hisui chapter

Anyways there's supposedly Sword and Shield news coming today, I'm sure it's just 'Hisui and Sinnoh Pokemon capability' but it'd be sweet if we got another DLC!
