Welcome to Day 11: Wearing kigurumis.
Lincoln and Stella were visiting the Royal Woods Zoo today. The 2 of them, on the other hand, did not want anyone to think that it was a date. Plus, today was a little different. Lincoln was dressed like a lion cub while Stella was dressed like a panda bear. When they arrived, the two of them handed in their tickets.
"Enjoy your time at the zoo," the booth runner said.
Lincoln and Stella thanked them.
"This is one big Zoo," Stella said to Lincoln.
"Did you ever get to visit one before coming to Royal Woods?" Lincoln asked.
"Not really," Stella answered. "On the other hand, I have always wanted to visit one".
"You're gonna love it here," Lincoln said.
The 2 of them started making their way through the zoo to see all the animals. One of the stops they made looked like a monkey jungle. One monkey they spotted was a tamarin.
"Look at that," Stella said. "A golden lion tamarin. We learned about those in 5th grade science".
"I remember that," Lincoln said. "One of their native homes is Rio De Janeiro".
Stella added, "The golden lion tamarin has a diverse, omnivorous diet consisting of fruits, flowers, nectar, bird eggs, insects and small vertebrates."
"I love fruits," Lincoln said.
"Me too," Stella said.
The tamarin landed on Stella's shoulder.
"I think this tamarind likes you," Lincoln said.
"I hope this living creature gets to go home to Rio de Janeiro one day," Stella said.
The tamarind hopped off and returned back to its napping spot.
A short time later, the 2 of them found themselves in the panda exhibit. One of the baby pandas saw Stella dressed like one and thought she was its mama. The baby panda came over and hugged her.
"One thing I remember about this animal is that it eats mostly bamboo and leaves," Lincoln said.
"I learned about that too," Stella said. "Still can't believe this panda thinks I'm its mom".
She and Lincoln couldn't help but giggle.
Stella then said to Lincoln, "pandas are one of the few bears, if not, the only bear most associated with Southern China".
Lincoln then said, "hey, I have a friend in Great Lakes City who is half Chinese. I can invite her over here so you two can spend quality time together".
"I would love that," Stella said. "This panda's fur is so soft and cuddly, like a pillow".
"I think your panda outfit can't compare to the real thing, even though it is pretty cool," Lincoln said.
"I understand your opinion," Stella said.
She then gave the panda to Lincoln who was touched by the panda's fur.
"The fur is soft," Lincoln said.
That was when the zookeeper came by.
"Hi zookeeper," Lincoln and Stella said.
"Hi," the zookeeper said. "You two really look like some of the animals here".
"Yeah," Stella commented.
"I agree," Lincoln replied. "So much that this baby panda thought Stella's her mom".
The zookeeper helped put the panda back where it belongs.
"There we go," the zookeeper said.
"Thanks," Lincoln said.
"I hope one day that panda will head home to China," Stella said.
"Me too," the zookeeper said. 'While I love looking after these animals, they do deserve to head to their hometowns".
All 3 of them waved goodbye to each other while walking off.
About an hour later, the two of them decided to take a lunch break. They both munched down on chicken sandwiches and fruit salad.
"You know Lincoln," Stella said. "I've always got confused over why pandas are considered carnivores if all they eat are bamboo and leaves. They should be classified as herbivores".
"Well, they still have the digestive system of a carnivore, as well as carnivore-specific genes, and thus derive little energy and little protein from consumption of bamboo," Lincoln said.
"That's pretty interesting," Stella said. "If I could eat only one thing for a month, it would have to be the mango."
"Why's that?" Lincoln asked.
Stella answered, "my family's Filipino, and the mango is the national fruit of the Philippines".
"Cool," Lincoln said. "For me, it would have to be mac and cheese bites. They're just so good".
Both of them couldn't help but bust out into more giggles.
Lincoln and Stella were enjoying their beloved time at the zoo. Those two might not think it's another date, but we, the readers and viewers, have the right to choose whether or not it is.
Which side are you on? Was this another date or 2 best friends just hanging out?
That's it for Day 11: Wearing kigurumis. Next up is Day 12: Making out.
AN: To anyone wondering what might have happened, I apologize for the longer than expected hiatus. Since it was the summer, that's when a lot of things go on hiatus whether each individual likes it or not.
As for me, it's been a rollercoaster of a ride.
First, I was on vacation in both Atlantic City and Wildwood, New Jersey. Then, I had to get a new laptop since my old one doesn't work anymore.
To add on to this yucky pain, failing to cope with the demands of this website is why I had to delete 3 of my other fanfic stories. Those 3 are: My Ask the Loud Kids Sequel, Loud Music Parody Sequel and What Are They Reacting To fanfic stories. Plus, I have no intent on bringing them back, though they might be uploaded somewhere else.
Now, I'm back at college, which means I'll be busy with another 4 classes. Because of all that, expect uploads to take a little longer. I'll do my best to make uploads as quickly and as soon as possible.
On the other hand, I can't promise any guarantee on that.
I hope you understand and thanks for reading or watching.
