Welcome to Day 16: During their morning ritual(s).
Lincoln was having another sleepover with Stella Zhau. The sun was coming up with a lot of force today. Lincoln yawned and stretched as he was the first out of bed. Stella then yawned and stretched as well.
"Morning, Lincoln," Stella Zhau said to him.
"Morning Stella," Lincoln said back. "So, what do you think is in store for us today?"
"Well," Stella started. "After I wash up and get dressed, there's some juicy fruit downstairs just calling my name".
"How about I help?" Lincoln responded. "We can finish double time".
Stella was up for it. Lincoln and Stella decided to hop into the shower together.
Usually, Stella went solo, but Lincoln was helping her out. It was a glorious time that lasted about 12 minutes.
After they dried off, the 2 of them went back to Stella's room to put their clothes on. While doing so, Stella started humming a tune.
It caught Lincoln's attention, and he wanted to know what the tune was.
"Nice tune you're humming there," Lincoln said.
"Thanks," Stella commented. "It helps me put my clothes on faster. Try it".
Lincoln started humming as well.
"This is cool," he said.
They both continued humming together, and in no time, they were finished getting dressed.
"You're right," Lincoln said. "We got done getting dressed in no time".
"Told you it would make the time go faster," Stella said. "Now come on. That juicy fruit is not going to eat itself".
She then strolled downstairs.
"Right behind you, Stella," Lincoln said.
Downstairs, they found out what kind of fruit was in the kitchen.
There were blueberries, mangoes, strawberries, oranges and pineapples.
Neither of them could take in the smell.
"It all sounds so juicy," Lincoln said. "Which are you eating today?"
"Definitely the mango," Stella said. "What about you?"
"I'm gonna eat some strawberries," Lincoln said. "It's been a fan favorite for many years".
The 2 of them started chowing down on what respective fruit each of them chose.
"This is just so delicious," Lincoln said.
That was when Stella's mom, Judy Zhau, came in.
"Morning kids," Judy said.
"Hey mom," Stella said.
"Morning Mrs. Zhau," Lincoln said. "Want some fruit?"
"Some blueberries for me," Judy answered. "I'm about to go on my morning jog."
"Can we join?" Lincoln asked.
Judy said to them, "totally, but you're gonna need sneakers like me. Luckily, I found pairs your size".
Lincoln and Stella tried them on.
"They fit so well," Stella said.
"I like them," Lincoln said. "I think we're ready to go".
"I agree," Stella said.
"Let's go jogging," Judy said.
The 3 of them went outside and started off on their jog. While jogging, Lincoln wanted to ask Judy something.
"Mrs. Zhau," he started. "Do you jog every morning?"
"Pretty much," Judy said.
"She even gets me jogging with her," Stella said.
Judy then added, "I even do swimming, stretching and aerobics. I was once on athletic teams in high school".
"Cool," Stella said. "You think one day, I might be as athletic as you?"
"I think it's possible," Judy answered.
"I should get my sister, Lynn, to spend some time with you," Lincoln commented. "She's so into athleticism as much as you are".
"Really?" Judy asked. "That might be something worth trying out".
"I agree," Stella said.
"Me too," Lincoln commented. "I can't wait to tell Lynn".
You think Lynn would like anything like that?
