Greetings to one and all.
This is Day 17: Spooning.
Stella was coming over to Lincoln's house. It was another rough day at school for him.
Not only did he get tripped off the bus in the morning, but the spaghetti sauce at lunch tasted like feet. In addition, Lincoln thought Chandler finally did something good by returning his missing backpack, but Chandler just threw it at him.
"You're welcome, Lame-o," Chandler said.
"Ugh," Lincoln grunted. "Even as a royal sign of much needed respect, I still can't get Chandler to knock it off with the bullying".
Seconds after Lincoln walked through the door, Stella arrived.
"Hey Lincoln," she said.
"Hey Stella," Lincoln grunted.
Stella wanted to know what made him so grumpy.
Lincoln told her, "Chandler's bullying is to the point of almost never ending".
"He's still doing that?" she asked.
Lincoln nodded.
"I don't even wanna leave the house anymore today," he told her.
Stella wrapped her arms around Lincoln.
"I got your back, Linc," Stella said to him.
The warmth Stella was giving started calming him down.
"Thanks," Lincoln said.
"Anything for a friend like you," Stella commented.
She then noticed Lincoln started to feel a little tired.
"You want me to stay here for a while?" Stella asked. "We can take a little nap in my room".
"I think that would be nice," Lincoln said.
With that, the 2 of them made their way up the steps and over to Lincoln's room.
When they arrived inside Lincoln's room, the 2 of them decided to leave their backpacks in the hallway.
"I keep forgetting how small your room is, Lincoln," Stella said. "Quite a curious wonder".
"I know," Lincoln commented. "On the other hand, it is cool to have a room of my own instead of one being shared with my sisters. It's like my place of Zen and piece".
"I can tell," Stella commented.
She then yawned a little.
"How about that nap we talked about," she suggested.
She and Lincoln removed their footwear and hopped into Lincoln's bed.
"Your bed is really soft," Stella told Lincoln.
"Thanks," he said. "I really like it".
He then lied on his left side. Stella then lied facing the same way.
Lincoln left his back pressed against Stella's own torso and chest. Lincoln started letting out a little giggle.
"You know," he started. "This is kind of a silly way for you to cuddle up next to me".
"That's the idea," Stella said. "It's times like this where I wish we can remain in this position forever".
"I agree," Lincoln said.
With that, the 2 of them drifted off to sleep.
It was only 20 minutes later when the rest of Lincoln's family arrived home.
"Lincoln!?" Luan shouted. "We're home!"
"Where is he?" Luna asked.
"I wish I knew," Lynn Junior answered. "I heard he had another rough day at school".
"Someone should really teach those jerks at the school a lesson," Lola said.
The girls decided to go see if Lincoln was in his room. He was, with Stella, much to their surprise.
They, however, found it a little cute.
"Aww," Leni said.
"Shh," Luna told her. "Don't wake them up".
"Totes got it," Leni whispered.
The girls decided to let Lincoln and Stella continue with their nap.
That ends Day 17: Spooning.
Stay tuned for Day 18: Doing something together.
