THE TYRELL WEDDING
TYRION
As the Lord of House Lannister, Casterly Rock, and Warden of the West; Tyrion has many duties and responsibilities. It falls to him to attend Lady Alyssane's wedding to Lord Willis Tyrell. Genna,
Emmon, and the children accompany Tyrion. They travel by ship from Lannisport to Old Town, which is a week, long trip. When they arrive, Tyrion and his family are met by Lord Dathyn Hightower Lord of Old Town.
Thy travel with the Hightowers to High Garden. When they stop to make camp Tyrion is approached by Lady Lynesse Hightower. "Lord Tyrion."
"Lady Lynesse."
"May I speak with you in private?" They walk away from camp, but tsay within eyesight of their guards. "I wanted to ask my Lord...What are your plans for the future?"
"I have many plans my Lady."
"Of course, but what are your plans for a wife?"
Of all the questions she could ask, he did not expect that one. It caught him off guard and it took a few moniutes for Tyrion to find his voice. "Uh...well...I haven't given it much thought to tell the truth. I am a Dwarf after all."
"A Dwarf of a powerful family...I will be blunt my Lord...I was married to Ser Jorah Mormont of Bear Island. I married for love...but I enjoy the finer things of life. He spent his family fortune trying to keep me happy. He annulled our marriage. I ask that you consider me for a wife. You have the means to keep a woman like me happy. I can you give you an heir and all the sex you can handle. All I ask is that you think about it." She kisses him on the lips before walking away.
Tyrion walks back towards the camp in a semi hypnotic state of disbelief. His feet take him to his Aunt Genne's tent. "Tyrion..." She frowns looking at him, "Tyrion?"
"Lady Lynesse just asked me about becoming my wife."
"Sit down and tell me." After they talk Genna goes to see Lynesse. They talk for a long time. Before breaking camp the next morning Genna walks up to Tyrion. "I spoke with Lady Lynesse."
"And?"
"I say marry her. She is honest and upfront as to why she wants to marry you. Show her who you truly are Tyrion and I say that love may follow. Also the Hightowers are tied to the Tyrells. A mmraige to them would keep the power balanced in our favor with the Tyrells tying themselves to one of our richest banners."
"I will speak with Lord Hightower as soon as I can." He invites Lord Dathyn to his tent to talk, when they stop again to camp.
They finally enter the Reach. It is the most beautiful fertile land in Westeros. They pass by apple, orange, peach, and lemon orchids. Fileds of corn, grain, and vegetables of all kinds. High Garden itself lives up to it's reputation as the most beautiful castle in the seven kingdoms. The walls of the castle are white, decorated with vines and flowers of all kinds. The Castle sits on the river. There is a walkway from the left and right of the river that join together and go up to the main gate.
The main gate is made of oak with the Tyrell Family crest in gold on the doors. "Welcome Lord Tyrion, Lord Hightower." Mace says greeting them and offering guest rights.
"Thank you, My Lord...May I introduce my aunt Genna, My Uncle Emmon Frey, My cousins Joy Lannister, Ser Cleos, Ser Lyonel, Tion and Walder Frey. Also my cousins Willem, Martyn, and Jenai Lannister."
"An honor to meet you all."
"After we've settled may I have a tour of your fine home?"
"Of course."
High Garden has twelve hundred rooms, not including the dining hall, the ball room, the main hall, the armory, barracks, servant's quarters, the solar, and library. "How many rooms does Casterly Rock have?" Mace Tyrell asks.
"Fourteen hundred." Tyrion pridefully replies.
WILLAS
Because of his family's feelings towards his friend Prince Oberyn, Willas rides out to meet him and escort the Prince to High Garden. Oberyn had come by land, because he loved to camp in the countryside. They embrace when they see one another. "Prince Doran it is good to see you again."
"And you...I see you had a visit from our masked friend." Doran says referring to Willas' healed leg.
"Yes I did...Also gave a us a freshly forged Valyrian sword."
"So if he makes a move for the Iron Throne, will House Tyrell support him?"
He sighs, "Forgive me my Prince, but politics are the last thing on my mind...I am soon to be married."
They race across the countryside, a race that is won by Willas. Two days later they reach High Garden. Mace and the Tyrell family reluctantly greet the Martells. The Martell party includes, Doran, Oberyn, Ellaria, Quentyn, Trystane, and Tyene. Ariane and the Sand Snakes had been left at home. Arianne ruling in her father's absence.
The wedding is held in the main hall. The vows said before the Septon and the guests. Willas looking lovingly into Alyssane's eyes as he says his vows. As they kiss the guests cheer loud and long. Then they head to the garden for the feast. There first-born son would inheit High Garden, their second son would take on the name Lefford to continue the family name.
At the feast there is dancing, eating, gift giving, minstrels, poetry reading, and singing. "My Lords and Ladies...The time has come to bed the newlywed couple." Mace Tyrell says in a booming voice. They all cheer as the women grab Willas and the men respectfully escort Lady Alyssane to the bed chamber. The men are guards of House Lefford.
Willas still has his under clothes, but the he had been relieved of the rest. "Finally." He says.
"Finally...husband."
He smiles, "Wife." He slowly undresses her. Her body quivers as he starts to fondle her body. He gently takes her hand and guides it down to his manhood, while kissing her on the mouth.
"Oh my goodness." She moans as he touches her in between her legs. He explores her body with his hands and mouth and she does the same. The next morning Willas has food bought to the room. Both of ravenous hunger after their exploits during the night. As they eat the two lustfully stair at each other. As they eat they use the food in a sexual manner and make love again.
They finally get dressed and leave their room for the tourney. As Willas Alyssane make their way to the place of honor people clap for them. "So, brother you're still alive." Loras says receiving a hit on the arm from Margaery, a disapproving look from their father and laughs from the rest.
"My Lords and ladies... citizens of the realm..." The herald says, "Welcome to the tourney of Lord Willas and his wife Lady Alysanne Tyrell. First is the melee matches." Because there are so many competitors the melee lasts two days. The competition ends with a three way between, Thoros of Myr, Lord Sandor Clegane, and Prince Oberyn. The match ends with Thoros as the victor.
After the melee a feast is held, but after a while Willas and Alysanne sneak away to make love. The next day is the archery contest. The first targets are fifty feet. Every shot must be a bullseye and is moved ten more feet after each round. The archery contest ends with Ser Dyllan Rays as the winner.
ALYSSANE
She was now Alysanne Tyrell the future Lady of High Garden. The tournament was to honor her marriage to Lord Willas, but the talk of the Tourney is Lord Tyrion and Lady Lynesse. The two had sat together, eaten, went off for private talks and such. Alysanne did not mind it kept people from making jokes about her and Willas as a newlyweds.
Alysanne is curious as to whether or not a match is in the works between the two so she invites them to a private lunch with her and Willas. "How are you enjoying High Garden My Lord?" Alysanne asks.
"I am enjoying it very much. The beauty of the Reach and High Garden...is all overwhelming."
"And you Lady Lynesse?"
"I've been to High Garden on many ocassions My Lady."
"Your father Lord Tywin, how is doing at the wall?" Willas asks.
"My father and I were never close, he does not write me. My brother Jaime keeps in touch and so does my sister. I would have liked to have been there to see his face when my sister wrote him; telling him that I am Lord of the Rock."
"You and Lady Lynesse are the talk of the tourney. Will we be attending any future weddings at the Rock?"
"We are taking our time to get to know one another." She replies.
"So, Lord Tyrion who do you favor for the joust?"
He takes a drink before answering, "Well...I would put my money on Lord Royce to take it all." And Tyrion was right, after three days of jousting Lord Yohn Royce took the day.
