Welcome to Day 23: Arguing.

It was about to be 2:00 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Stella was getting tired of waiting for Lincoln. Little does Stella know that Lincoln's family sent him to help Mollie prepare for a sleepover yesterday.

"Where on Earth could he be?" Stella asked herself.

Lincoln was hurrying over to Stella's house.

"Why was I forced into that?" Lincoln asked himself. "Everyone knew I was gonna be hanging with Stella".

A few seconds later, Lincoln arrived. After taking a moment to calm down, he knocked on the door. Stella came and opened it.

"Oh, hello Lincoln". Stella said.

"Hey Stella," Lincoln said. "You can blame my family. They…"

"Grounded you for something you didn't do?" Stella asked. "You need to start standing your ground more".

"I do," Lincoln said. "What makes you think I don't?"

"It might be why you were gonna miss our promised hangout," Stella said.

"No way," Lincoln said. "I had to help Mollie get ready for one of her sleepovers. There was no way for me to back out".

"So you think Mollie's a better girl to be with than me," Stella assumed.

"Now you know you're the only girl perfect for me," Lincoln argued.

"Then start acting like it," Stella said.

"Who says I wasn't?" Lincoln asked. "And besides, what's wrong with helping a friend in need. You'd do the same if Girl Jordan needed your help".

"Not when you have a promised date on the same day," Stella said.

"I see," Lincoln said.

Later that afternoon, Lincoln and Stella just woke up from a half hour long nap. Downstairs, the two of them were drinking some orange juice. Stella's mom, Judy Zhau, came in.

"Hey guys," she said.

Lincoln and Stella said hi back.

"I heard a bit of noise earlier," Judy Zhau said. "What happened?"

"Lincoln and I just got into a little argument over keeping a promise," Stella answered. "But we're cool now".

Lincoln was in agreement.

However, a few seconds later, a message came up.

The message said, "dear fellow students, don't invite any Asian over to any hangout. They're a bad influence. Love, your 8th grade fellow".

Stella got really upset.

"I knew it!" she said.

"Knew what?" Lincoln asked.

"Don't you knew what me, you crazy bitch!" Stella said. "I knew you and Mollie didn't want me around."

"Now wait a second," Lincoln said. "I never sent that message".

"But you think I'm a bad influence," Stella said. "Is that why you keep hanging with Mollie and not me?"

"No way," Lincoln argued. "I thought you were proud of the friends we made".

"I am!" Stella said. "It's just that…"

"It's just because I put too much focus on her than I do with some of the other girls; including yourself," Lincoln argued. "Is that it?"

Stella got really annoyed.

"Now hold on a second," she said. "That's not what I…"

"Oh I think it is." Lincoln butted in. "You obviously think I love her more than I love you. Well guess what, I love you both equally".

"What?" Stella asked. You wanted to marry both of us? Are you nuts?"

"Of course not," Lincoln answered. "It's just that she…"

"It's because she's prettier than me is it?" Stella asked.

"Well maybe she is sometimes," Lincoln answered.

"Well then maybe you should be with her instead of me," Stella argued.

"Maybe I will," Lincoln said.

"GOOD!" Stella said. "GO BE WITH HER!"

"FINE!" Lincoln said as he stormed out of the house.

Stella then hugged her mom.

"Am I really a bad influence?" Stella asked.

"Of course you're not," Judy told her. "Whoever sent that message is gonna pay".

"I sure hope so," Stella said. "I can't believe that one message would make me and Lincoln have such a big fight".

"I know," Judy said. "That was really uncalled for?"

How will Stella be able to make things right with Lincoln? And who sent that yucky message?

That ends Day 23: Arguing.

Next up is Day 24: Making up afterwards.
