Welcome to Day 24: Making up afterwards.

The next day, Lincoln was hanging out with Mollie.

"I just don't get it," Lincoln said. "I would never call Stella a bad influence".

"You know it was just one message, right?" Mollie commented.

Mollie's dad came in.

"Hey guys," he said.

"Hi Mollie's dad," Lincoln said.

"What's his problem?" Mollie's dad asked.

Mollie told him, "some 8th grader sent this message calling Asians a bad influence".

Lincoln added, "that message made me and my friend, Stella Zhau, get into a fight where she called me a bitch".

"That's just low," Mollie's dad said. "Although, someone from the school sent a new message. The guilty party's Anderson".

"Who's Anderson?" Mollie asked.

"One of the fools who beat me and Stella up on the school bus," Lincoln answered. "Why would he send that message, though?"

"So you can get mad at Stella," Mollie's dad answered. "And I bet maybe, he tricked your family into making you come here to ditch Stella on purpose".

"Ditch Stella on purpose?" Mollie asked.

"Yeah," Mollie's dad said. "Therefore, Stella would get mad at Lincoln. That way, the 2 of them would wreck their friendship for revenge for what they did to him on the school bus".

Lincoln was shocked.

"That would make sense," he said.

"I know," Mollie's dad said. "No one deserves to be bullied like that".

Meanwhile, Stella was hanging at Clyde's house.

"Still can't believe you two got into a fight," Howard said.

"I don't think you're a bad influence," Clyde said.

"Try getting that out to the guilty party," Stella said. "I feel so guilty starting that fight".

"I think you need to let him know exactly how you feel," Clyde said.

"I think you're right, Clyde," Stella said. "I just wish I had something special enough to show Lincoln that I really mean it".

"Lincoln needs nothing but the love you're always giving to him," Clyde said.

That was when the McBride family got a text message.

"Clyde?" Harold asked. "Who's Anderson?"

"One of the 3 school bus bullies we stood up to?" Clyde answered. "Why ask?"

Harold told them, "someone from the Royal Woods Middle School said he's sending rude messages to end Lincoln's friendship with Stella for revenge".

"Can't these bullies take a hint?" Stella asked. "I want a piece of that jerk".

"Not unless you want them to wedgie us again," Clyde said. "Besides, they agreed to leave us alone, and you still have some business with Lincoln to take care of".

"You're right," Stella said before giving Clyde a hug.

Over at Gus' Games and Grub, Lincoln and Stella found each other.

"There you are," Lincoln said.

"There you are," Stella said. "Can you believe Anderson did that to us?"

"Mollie's family told me," Lincoln said. He then sighed a little. "I'm really sorry for arguing like that. I really don't see you as a bad influence".

"I'm sorry for calling you a bitch," Stella said. "You're no bad influence either. I still think you're the only one who I deserve to be with".

"I feel the same way," Lincoln said.

The 2 of them hugged it out. The worker there saw what was going on.

"Aww, I see hugging," he said. "Does this mean you 2 are no longer in a fight?"

"That's right," Lincoln said. "Wait; how'd you know?"

The worker told them, "that rude message was the big story on the 10 o'clock news. I'll serve the two of you some pizza. Plus, I'll even put it on the house".

"Thanks," the 2 of them said.

While enjoying their pizza, Lincoln said to Stella, "I'm so glad our friendship is no longer on the rocks".

"You got that right," Stella said. "Let's never let anything like that stupid message get in the way of our friendship ever again".

"You said it," Lincoln said, clinking pizza slices with Stella.

That ends Day 24: Making up afterwards.

Next up is Day 25: Gazing into each others' eyes.
