THE TRUTH MUST BE TOLD

CERSEI

After court Cersei and Jaime agreed to tell their children the truth. So, she waits in the sitting area of her room with Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen. She wondered how they would take the news. Ever since the King warged Joffrey he had truly changed. No longer was he the arrogant young man he had been. In fact he had summoned a few of the servants he had been cruel to and apologized to them. The arrogance was still there, but not the cruelty or pleasure in being cruel.

Cersei has her Aunt Genna and Uncle Gerion with her as well. They too needed to know the truth least they hear it from someone else. The door opens and Jaime comes in dressed in new King's guard armor with a silverthree headed Dragon on the breastplate; the armor is black. Tyrion is with Jaime, "Why is he here?" She asks.

"Because he is our brother." Jaime replies.

Not willing to argue she let's it go. They sit down on the couch next to each other. "Children we have something to tell you. This will not be easy for you to hear."

Joffrey lowers his head and looks up with a sigh, "Robert Baratheon is not our father, is he?"

Myrcella frowns, "Joffrey how can you say such a thing? That is not funny." She looks at her mother, "You have done and said some mean things, but this takes the cake."

"Myrcella..." Cersei hesitates.

"Who told you?" Jaime asks.

"No, one told me. After the King fixed me, I started remembering things. Little things, conversations with my...with the former King...None of us have anything in common with him. And save for hunting I have nothing in common with him. None of us look like him."

"If..." Myrcella is getting emotional, "...Who is our father?"

"I..." Jaime says clearing his throar, "I...am your father."

"By the...no...No! It can't be. You can't be! The two of you...You're our uncle." Cersei gets up and tries to hug Myrcella, "Don't touch me!" She runs to Genna and hugs her.

"Did you know Uncle Tyrion?" Joffrey asks.

He sighs, "When I was younger...Your grandfather said something to me that upset me. I went looking for my brother. I saw them together."

Jaime looks at Tyrion, "You never said anything."

"Not the kind of thing you bring up to your brother." He says pouring himself some wine.

Myrcella stops crying and looks at her Great aunt Genna, "Did you know?"

She sighs, "Your grandmother Joanna knew. She told me when she came home from King's Landing."

Myrcella shakes her head and looks at her mother and uncle/father, "The two of you...I want to be warded with the Starks...And I never want to see either of you again."

"Myrcella please." Cersei begs.

"Myrcella you are angry, which is understandable. But don't make any rash decisions."

Joffrey stands up, walks over to Jaime. "I admired you as my Uncle and I am even more proud to know you that you are my father. I hope that one day I can be half the man you are." Jaime's eye start to water, as he stands up and hugs Joffrey.

"I am proud of you son."

Tyrion sighs, "Since we are sharing truths there is something I need to tell you all."

PRINCE DORAN

"I wonder why the King wants to see us." Oberyn says to Doran.

"One can only guess." He replies as they walk up the hall to the King's solar. Lady Brienne and Ser Barristan are on duty. They wait as Brienne announces them. When they enter the room both Doran and Oberyn gasp, because Rhaegar Targaryen is sitting beside King Jaehaerys.

"That will be all Brienne."

"You...how is this...You're dead!" Doran says

"Fire and blood...My Prince. I used Robert's blood to bring my father back to life. I used the red Priestess' blood and life to restore my mother to the land of the living. And before you ask, I cannot bring Princess Elia or her children back to life. As I told my Uncle Lord Stark...Magic has rules. I killed the people who killed Elia and her children. It was later that I learned about the rituals that could restore someone who was killed or died back to life."

"I asked my son to bring you here so that we could talk."

"Talk about what?" Oberyn asks, "How you abandoned my sister to the Mad King and let her die."

"You know, me Oberyn. And you know, that it was more complicated than that. We had a plan, but Elia insisted on witnessing my marriage to Lyanna. The two of them had become sisters by choice. After I married Lyanna, Elia was to return to Dorne. Her party was to go to Maidenpool and take a ship to Dorne. Once again Varys poked his nose into my affairs and told my father...

She and her people were ambushed by my father's men."

"Why didn't she have one of the King's guard with her?"

"Having the King's Guard with her would have drawn suspicion. When I returned to King's Landing, I told my father that Prince Doran is loyal to us and that he had given me an army...I tried to convince him to let Elia return home, but he would not listen to me. Before I left for the Trident, I ordered Jaime to watch over Elia, our children, my mother, and brother. Do not let Aerys near any of them I commanded."

"One King's Guard!"

"It wasn't until I got back that I learned my father had sent Gerold to find me. My son allowed me to see into the past. When Gerold found Arthur and Oswell, he learned why they were guarding the tower, he decided to stay and help his brothers. You know the rest...If Mace Tyrell had obeyed my orders that day we would have won the war...I am so sorry about Elia."

Oberyn looks at Jaehaerys, "Why did you let Tywin Lannister live? His hands are stained with the blood of our sister and her children!"

"I am indebted to Jaime Lannister for saving the people of King's Landing. I repaid that debt by sparing his father. But if its justice you want... Valar Morghulis."

Doran looks at Oberyn and they smile at each other, then they bow to the King and his father. "Your Grace...My Prince."

As soon as they leave the King's presence, Doran summons his faithful bodyguard Areo Hotah, "My friend I need you to go to Braavos...Hire the faceless men and give them Tywin Lannister's name...It must look like an accident." He hands him his signet ring and a letter, "Give this to the Lords of the Iron Bank...I have an account with them..."

"I will not fail you, my Prince."

TYRION

He had told his family about Aerys and Joanna. They did not take it well. Tyrion knows Myrcella better than anyone and he could tell that she wanted a fresh start. So, he goes to the King to speak with him in private. He announced by Ser Willas. "Shall I call you Lord Tyrion or Uncle."

He pours himself some wine and sighs, "For now Lord Tyrion my King."

"We are alone call me Jae or Jaehaerys."

"Jae...I have come to ask a favor."

"Anything..." He smiles, "...within reason of course."

"I suppose you know who the true parents of my nephews and niece are?"

"I know."

He takes a drink from his goblet, "Myrcella is not taking the news well...I came to ask if you would speak with Lord Stark about fostering her?"

"Yes of course."

"Thank you."

"I have a favor to ask as well."

Tyrion frowns and later his heart pounds as Jaehaerys takes him to the Dragon tower to ride his white and black striped Dragon Rhaenyx. With one arm Jae picks up Tyrion and then climbs up to the Dragon's back. "Oh... Oh gods old and new help me." He sits Tyrion down in front of him.

"Grab the spike in front of you."

"You should really think about a saddle your...I mean Jae."

He points, "I do have a saddle, but I thought it would be more fun to ride bareback. Besides, it takes too long to saddle her."

Rhaenyx stands up, "Oh please...I can wait. I will help you saddle her."

Jae smiles, "You'll be fine...You are a lion and a Dragon." The Dragon runs on all fours to the edge of the balcony and stands on his two legs stretching his arm wings. The Dragon laps off and starts flying higher and higher.

"OH SHIT! WAHOOO!" Tyrion says as Rhaenyx climbs high, loops around and dives, "AAAHHH! YES! YES! YEEES!" Tyrion shouts, as they level off fifty feet from the ground flying low over King's Landing. They fly over Blackwater Bay loop around and fly towards the godseye lake, then turn back to King's Landing. As they land in the tower the sun is setting.

"That was the greatest thing I have ever experienced in my life."

Jae smiles, "Now you know what it means to be a Dragon."

"Partly...I have a lot more to learn."

He sighs, "You will come with me." Jaehaerys leads him to the Dragon's Eye. He pulls a lever to reveal a pool of water. Remove your clothes and get into the water. The water is only a foot deep.

"Why?"

"To wake the Dragon." Jae turns his back and when Tyrion steps into the water it is warm. "Lie down." Tyrion lays down and watches as Jae takes a jar of blood and pours it into the water. The water turns blood red, and it cocoons him. Tyrion starts to groan in pain and scream. He passes out from the pain. When he awakens Tyrion is lying on a stone table. His lower half is covered with a towel.

He stands up and notices that the floor is farther away than usual. His hands are normal and his arms longer. "How do you feel?" Jae asks.

"What did you do to me?"

"Look in the mirror."

Tyrion is six feet tall with a muscular slim build. His hair and eyes are the same colors, his head is normal and so is the rest of his body. He starts crying, "I'm...I'm not a dwarf anymore." After thanking Jaehaerys he goes to see Lynesse. "Hello my Love."

She gasps, "Tyrion? Is that you?"

He kisses her, "Of course its me."

"How is this possible?"

"The King changed me. He used magic to make me normal." Walking hand in hand, he and Lynesse go to see his family.

ROBERT

Robert waits for his trial by combat, Jon Arryn had come to see him and they spoke for a long time. Pycell is in another cell and not far from him is Varys. "Robert." Stannis is in a cell across him."

"Yeah."

"Tell me...Had you known woold you have killed him? Lyanna's boy."

He grunts, "I don't know..."

"Think about it. Would you?"

Robert sighs, "I would like to think no I wouldn't have."

"I have something to tell you."

He huffs, "Confession time."

"Cersei's children are not your children. I was going to use that information to take the Iron Throne."

Robert starts laughing, "What is so funny?"

"I already knew about her and her brother."

"What? How? When did you find out? How long have you known?"

"From the first time I looked at Joffrey I knew he wasn't mine or at least I had a feeling he wasn't mine. I knew for sure, the first day he picked up a weapon. As for her and Jaime, I guessed. I let them live because..."

"Because what?"

"I remembered how Ned looked at me in the throne room. Elia and her...children, draped in Lannister cloaks. If I had killed Cersei and her children...Doesn't matter I lost Ned as a friend anyway." he laughs, "Besides, I had fun making Cersei miserable." Ser Barristan enters the dungeons with twlve guards.

"Selmy, tell me how long have you been a Dragon licker."

"I have always been loyal. Rhaegar was going to overthrow his father. He even talked about handing Aerys over to Stark for justice."

Six men remove Robert from his cell, "So you lied to me when you made your oath."

"No I meant every word. But while you were better than Aerys. You still were a bad King." Robert, Stannis, Pycel, and Varys are bought before King Jaehaerys Targaryen.

"Pycel former Grandmaester, you are charged with treason and exiled from the King's domain. You may return to the citidel, but if you walk openly in Westeros, your life is forfeit. Take him away. Lord Varys, you did plot with the fat Magister Ilyrio Mopatis to remove House Targaryen from power...You whispered in King Aerys ear and convinced him to hold Princess Elia hostage...I sentence you to die by beheading."

Stannis is sentenced to the Night' Watch. "The Usurper...Robert Baratheon...You have asked for trial by combat and you will have it. You will face me in single combat."

MARGAERY

She had been struggling with her emotions when it came to Jaehaerys Targaryen. Her fears about the power he wielded is frightening. She had avoided him and court, the love letters and poems kept coming. He even stood on the balcony of her room and sang to her. Margaery is in the garden with her guards thinking about all these things.

"Lady Margaery...Ser Jaime of the King's Guard to see you."

She nods, "My Lady...I need your help."

"With what?"

"The King plans to face Robert Baratheon in single combat. He won't listen to his guard, his uncle. But he may listen to you."

She makes her way to the royal apartments and requests to see the King. Ser Oakheart is on duty and announces her. "Lady Margaery I am pleased to see you."

"Are you going to face Robert in combat?"

"I am."

"And if I asked you not to. Would you?"

"He killed my father."

"You are the King...A King..."

"Is a King and a King who is Dragon does as he pleases."

"Is that the kind of King you are going to be?"

He sighs, "You know what I mean."

"If I agreed to marry you...will you let someone else fight in your place?"

He stairs at her and she him, "Why are you doing this to me?"

"Because I do not want to see you get hurt or worse."

He sighs and closes his eyes, "Marry me and I will have someone else fight in my place."

JAIME

The honor to face Robert in trial by combat was given to Ser Jaime Lannister. He had always wanted to kill Robert and now he would get the chance. The two meet, in the royal courtyard. Robert has his warhammer and is dressed in the same armor he wore on the trident. Jaime is dressed in red and gold armor.

His Valyrian sword in hand, "Jaime fucking Lannister. Is the King a coward to face me." He points his hammer at Rhaegar, "What of you Rhaegar? Just returned from the dead..."

"You will face me manwhore! And you will pay for everything you have done to my sister."

Robert roars and attacks without waiting for the High Septon to speak. Jaime has speed over Robert and skill as he draws first blood, his sword taring a slit in Robert's armor on the arm. The slit deep enough that he hit flesh and drew blood. When Jaime breaks away Robert rushes him and slams his shoulder and body into the Knight the King favors as he is now called.

"Jaime!" Cersei screams when he hits his back. Robert raises his hammer, but Jaime rolls left. Robert kicks him and swings his hammer again. Jaime swings his sword and cuts the hammer's head off. Then he plunges his sword into Robert's abdomen. With the last of his strength, Robert leans down on the sword and wraps his hands around Jaime's throat

"Die!"

Jaime takes his fingers and jabs deep into Robert's eyes. He howls in pain releasing his grip. As Robert falls dead, Jaime throws him off and coughs. Cersei runs into the arena and kneels beside him.
