ANOTHER DANCE OF DRAGONS

PART 1. LOVE REKINDLED

RHAEGAR

The ground is muddy and wet, the enemy has ten thousand men of the riverlands, twenty thousand of the Vale, forty thousand of the Stormlands and twenty thousand from the North. The Targaryen forces number five thousand of the Riverlands, those who sided with Rhaegar, eight thousand of the crownlands, six thousand of the Stepstones and ten thousand spears of Dorne.

Rhaegar tried to negotiate, but Robert was a stubborn man and would not listen to reason. Twenty-seven men fell to Rhaegar's blade, before he got separated from Ser Barristan and faced the demon of the Trident. Every man that fell to his hammer Robert called out, his voice echoing across the battlefield. "Forty and six!" He yelled bashing a man's head in.

They lock eyes, "The Dragon Prince in deed! Come Dragonspawn you shall be number forty-seven!"

Rhaegar was fast, but not fast enough. The hammer caught him on the knee breaking it and then in the chest. All was pain, but his last thoughts were of Lyanna and his children. "Lyanna!" Rhaegar jumps up in bed.

"It was just a dream my love." Lyanna says sitting up beside him.

He takes a deep breath, "A dream...The last thing I felt was great pain, in my chest. Then I my last thoughts were of you, the baby, Elia, Rhaenys and Aegon. Then all went dark and...I can't remember what happened next."

She leans on his left shoulder, "I remember...pain as well. Then I held our son...I named him Jaehaerys. I fell asleep and when I awoke...Ned was there...I asked him to protect our son. I made him promise. Then I fell asleep and I...I woke up on the table."

Her hand slips down under the sheets that cover his manhood and she fondles him until he gets aroused. "What are you doing?" He playfully asks.

"Waking the Dragon."

He kisses her and fondles her breasts, "You have awakened the Dragon Wild Wolf." After breaking his fast the next morning, Rhaegar heads to Mace Tyrell's room, with Brienne at his side. He is having a private breakfast with his wife.

"Good morning my Prince...Would you care to join us for breakfast."

"No thank you..." Rhaegar angrily replies, "I came to ask a question. Why when I sent word for you to join me on the trident did you take your army into the Stormlands?"

"My Prince...Stannis..."

He interrupts him, "Was no threat to us. He only had five thousand men. Forty thousand troops and you march them to Storm's End. We lost the war because of your stupidity!"

"Now just one minute!"

"Shut the fuck up you stupid, stupid man! The only reason I don't gut you right now, is because your daughter will marry my son. I just wanted to get that off my chest. Good day Lord Tyrell."

LYANNA

Lyanna is in the garden picking flowers, Ser Arys Oakheart is guarding her person. Lyanna sees a bird and her eyes turn white and she wargs the bird seeing through, it's eyes. She spots Cersei walking through the garden towards her. Lyanna's eyes return to normal, "Ser Oakheart."

"Princess?"

"Lady Cersei is in the garden. Allow her to pass."

"Yes, My Princess."

"Princess." Cersei says bowing.

Lyanna looks at her, "Lady Cersei, what may I do for you?"

"I finally wanted to meet the woman who held Robert's heart before and after she died and now lives again."

Lyanna sits down on a bench, "Robert didn't love me. He was in love with the idea of being the husband of his best friend's sister. Something to bring him closer to being Ned's brother." She looks at Cersei, "I can see that you are a woman of strength, but you focus so hard on trying to prove that you are just as good as a man, that you lose who you are as a woman."

Cersei gets angry, "You don't know me."

"Dying and being bought back to life allows me to see things and gives me insight into others." They are joined by Rhaegar.

"Lady Cersei...We are going riding care to join us?" Rhaegar asks.

"No thank you."

JAEHAERYS

The nobles are gathered in the main hall, along with the great lords of Westeros. The Herald enters and announces the King. "His royal highness, King of the Andels and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm. The Masked Dragon, the White Wolf...Third of his name Jaehaerys Targaryen."

"Long may he reign." The people say as Jaehaerys enters the throne room. The Dragons skulls once again decorate the walls of the throne room. Targaryen banners hang where once the Stag of House Baratheon and the lion of House Lannister hung.

"My Lords and Ladies...Lady Margaery has agreed to marry me and become my Queen." The people clap and cheer. When it is quiet Jaehaerys speaks again, "But before that can happen blood must be spilled. War is upon us in two forms. One comes to us in the form of Aeron Blackfyre...You know him by the name Aeyon Mopatis. He rode in the tourney. He has been told that he is the son of my father Prince Rhaegar and Princess Elia. This lie was told to him by his father Magister Mopatis.

My army is in place to deal with this threat. And once this threat has been dealt with Lady Margaery and I will marry. The second war is more ethereal and deadly. It threatens us all...So I ask after the wedding you return to your homes and call your banners. My Commanders will tell you where I need your armies. After you have gathered your forces make your way to Moat Cailin and I will show you what we face."

After addressing the nobles, Jaehaerys meets with the small council. To discuss affairs of state and the city defenses. After the meeting is over Rhaegar remains in the room. "I wish to fight. Your enemies are my enemies. I am a Dragon and a Dragon does not hide from a fight."

He sighs, "And if you fight, my mother will want to fight. I will not take chances with your lives."

"It is ours to live how we see fit."

He sighs and they argue, but eventually Jaehaerys gives in, "If you insist on fighting then I insist that Jaime and Brienne be at mother's side; Ser Barristan and Ser Loras at your side." Rhaegar agrees and then they have midday meal with the Starks and the Tyrells.

PART 2. BATTLE OF THE TWO DRAGONS

AEGON

As they sail pass Dragonstone Aegon comes up on deck to look at the ancient fortress. "One day I shall reclaim my family home." He says to Harry Strickland.

"I am sure you will My King."

Aegon looks at him, "I know that you and your army were hired to put me on the throne. But what if you had a lifetime contract to fight for me? I could make you a great lord of Westeros."

"One thing at a time your grace. First, we take the capital, then we talk about the rest."

Unbeknownst to Aegon, Mopatis, and Strickland, a fleet of Valyrian and Ironwood ships sail around from the bay of crabs to attack the Golden Company's fleet from the rear. The scout ships that reported all is clear had been taken by Jaehaerys' men. The fleet will land its troops on the blackwater rush and attack the city from the south, hitting the mud gate and the Wood Gate.

"Be safe Magister."

"And you as well My King."

Aegon disembarks and rows to the ship pulling his Dragon on a barge; his other Dragons are present, but with no riders he can't just let them fly free. He boards the barge with his Dragon Ellagon and unchains her. He mounts his Dragon and commands her to fly. As the fleet approaches the city, the bells start ringing. Aegon flies his Dragon over the city and back towards the beach. He lands Ellagon by the water as the Golden Company comes ashore.

"Ellagon fly!" He commands. They fly out over the water and then loop around diving towards the Mud gate, "Dracarys!" The men defending the mud gate do not run, even when the fire is unleashed from Ellagon. He admires their bravery, but his admiration becomes astonishment when Ellagon's flames loop around twist and strike the army gathering on the beach.

Ellagon loops around back to the beach where, everything is chaos. The Elephants of the Golden Company had gone mad. Their riders unable to control them anymore, as they smash through their own troops. Then the night sky lights up as enemy ships attack from the rear. Aegon directs Ellagon to fly out over the water. "Dracarys!" Ellagon's flames hit an Ironwood ship, but it does not burn.

RHAEGAR

With Sers Barristan and Loras at his side, Lady Brienne and Ser Jaime at Lyanna's side, Rhaegar leads the charge on the beach against the Golden Company. Arrows fly and the Calvary charges the enemy. The Golden company is in disarray, many men are fleeing their own comrades who no matter what they do cannot control the Elephants. The archers have to shoot down and kill the rampaging beasts.

Rhaegar lops a man's head off from the back of his white warhorse. He slashes the neck of a another as his horse tramples his comrad. When a spear is pointed at his horse it rears back. Then it turns sideways and Rhaegar kicks the man in the face. Lyanna rides pass him, throwing a dagger killing another man.

He watches s she rides pass an Elephant and cuts the strap to the saddle on its back. Distracted by her riding skills and swordsmanship, Rhaegar is knocked from his horse. The man who hit him, is killed by Loras, while Ser Barristan helps him up.

JAEHAERYS

Jaehaerys and his Dragon hid under a collapsible tent over the roof of the old Dragontower. So, when Aegon flew over he did not see him, nor did his Dragon smell Rhaenix, because the tent had been covered in moss to hide his Dragon's smell. The tent is like a dome attached to the sides of the tower. It folds over to reveal rider and Dragon after they have gone.

After Aegon and his Dragon fly over the bay, Jaehaerys orders Rhaenix to fly. They fly to the beach and dive on the water. As they do, Jaehaerys points his hand at the water. A stream of water rises up, freezes and forms into an ice spear. As they fly towards Aegon and Ellagon, Rhaenix roars. Aegon and Ellagon chase Jaehaerys and Rhaenix over the bay towards the King's wood.

Rhaenix dives into the trees and as Aegon flies over he throws his ice spear striking Ellagon in the throat. The Dragon screeches and falls to the ground dead. A twelve, foot long area had been torn up by the Dragon's crash. Jaehaerys walks over to Aegon who is still alive and struggling to get to his feet. His sword is drawn.

"You." Aegon says.

He tries to fight, but Aegon is weak and disoriented from the crash. Jae disarms him and his men rush out to chain him up. "Take this false King away."

MOPATIS

Ilyrio watches from the command ship as everything goes to shit. He gasps as the fire his son's Dragon spews curves around twists and hits their own men. Then the Elephants go berserk and start trampling their own troops. Next a ship explodes behind them and Ilyrio is horrified at the fleet attacking their rear.

"DRAGON!" Someone screams.

Ilyrio looks in the direction the men are pointing and spots the white and black striped Dragon. When Aegon gives chase he yells with all his might, "Aegon no!" He watches in horror as they vanish over the tree line. Men cry out as their ships sinks; others burn. Another hour passes when the command ship is boarded. Mopatis hides in his cabin as the fighting starts.

He sits on the bed with a dagger in hand as the sound of weapons on weapons echo, Men cry out as they die, he can hear the deck thud every time a body hits it. Suddenly all is quiet, then the door to his cabin is hit causing Mopatis to jump. The door is kicked in and Richard Lonmouth enters with ten men. "Ilyrio Mopatis. The King wants you alive fat man."
