This definitely is a huge blow and shocked everyone given that one is the Emperor's Father in Law and the other is the Empress Mother.

As for Zhong Lei, he had no feelings. He himself is raised by servants. His impression of his mother and sister is next to nothing. His heart grew cold when she didn't even planned for him to have proper education and even scolded him for being so useless. Only Princess Royal is kind to him and yet she died because of this selfish woman. He only has hatred, and now, Xue Liu got what's coming for her.

Beiyue's kick connected and sent Xue hurling down. That definitely broke the woman's spine.
Three things happened at once.

Xue Liu died in a very painful death by an eight years old and she did not die whole piece of corpse. If she's even allow, it's gonna buried in pickle jar.
Huang Beiyue landed in the ground, her killing intent seemed to be more amplified now. She felt so blood thirsty now, it's clouding her and Ye Lian and Akane is not helping either.
For the first time, they seemed to have merged. It's a strange sensation but it's not unwelcome.

Disappearing and appeared above Mu Mixin for an axe kick.
Patriatch if the Mu Clan narrowly dodged that attack that killed and turned Xue in her current state. The heel of her sandals connected to the ground, it exoded from contact as the ground caved in, shattered from that monstrous strength.
The strong quake made others who's unprepared fall on their but or knees, some held unto each other to steady themselves. The area will be in a need of fixing since the cracks are really big, it's like a mirror that fell down, in fragments.
Their Jaws dropped att he destruction!
Huang Beiyue slowly raised, "I want to ask you. Are monsters made or are they born?" Huang Beiyue asked casually.
Every missed strike of Huang Beiyue shattered the ground more and more, it's going to be turn into powder soon. Each explosion made their hearts thud in their chest. It's exciting and terrifying st the same time as collective decision was made. Tanking that will suicide. Given how the Princess was able to keep at it, her momentum not stopping or stuttering, she didn't use strong force.
When she finally made contact, began to bombard Mu Mixin who enforced his body with spiritual energy. It made it more painful and smthe beating sessions last longer as she tossed him in the air and bombarded him with punched and kicks until she broke his arms and legs.
Huang Beiyue dragged him by the hair to where concubine Xue is and without a word, tossed him in the ground, raised her leg and pushed Mu Mixin's head on the puddle of blood and gore, "Don't you like using and killing other people so much? Please, enjoy yourself. No need to stand in ceremony." Huang Beiyue said coldly. She had been cautious and kept her strength controlled to not damage the area where the blood puddle is a descrete seal was placed there to not jostle out the pool of blood.
Huang Beiyue raised her leg and made him breath for a while before pressing her leg to pushed his head back again. Huang Beiyue's cold rage expression didn't change as she did this again and again. Desperate resistent is weak to her, he didn't even raise up when she lifted her leg, died from soffucating and drowning in the blood of a Concubine.
Even when Huang Beiyue felt hollow now, she still decided to finish the job. As such, she raised her leg higher this time and smashed it harder. Without the defence of Mu Mixin when he died, his head exploded.
Silence
Everyone, specially the Empress, Yingyi, Xiao Yun, Xiao Rou, Concubine Qin, and a few more had fainted. Some had vomited. Some had green faces.
Huang Beiyue raised her head and looked at them, some had flinched, felt genuine fear and terror, Huang Beiyue decided to asked a question again, "Are monsters made or are they born?" she asked with a smile that is not a smile, as she sealed up her Byako no In seal.
They were in a stand still. The atmosphere seemed to be frozen.
Her eyes landed in Empress Dowager who looked at Beiyue with guilt and horror.
"Are you proud of me, Your Highness? I'm not weak anymore" she smiled lightly, "I am strong now, you know?" she hummed with a smile. Empress Dowager looked ready to hurled at the what happened, from sheer disgust, terror, and horror.
"Are you proud of what I have become, grandmother?" she asked sarcastically, with that state she is in, she's like a deranged person that turned crazy, "Or should I even call you that?" her tone turned venomous.
