AN: Hey guys, Spartan719 here! I want to show off my next idea and it was something that I've had in my mind for a long time, but now with Zi-O over, I'm more confident about going down this route. Just to be clear, this is just more of a "Proof of Concept" than a solid idea. So when you read this idea, please take this with a grain of salt.

Kamen Rider Zi-O: The Time Towards Greatness Chapter 1
It was the year 2068 and humanity was ruins. Whatever was left took part in the ongoing fighting in a battlefield littered with corpses, spent ammo, fire, and machine parts. The surviving fighters took refuge in their trenches, trying to recover and planning their next course of action. One soldier stuck his head out of the trench and looked onwards with his binoculars in one hand and a hand radio in the other.
"I got the target. Mark 50 feet from our current position." He said before a voice came from the radio.
"Copy that. Prepare to advance after our signal." The male voice replied and, in a few moments, fighter jets and mechs appeared in the sky.
"Alright, let's go!" Another soldier said as he got out of the trenches with the others. Soon, an entire army's worth of people charged on feet or in assault vehicles.
They charged towards a lone figure and it was obvious there was a female underneath. This figure was in a black body suit, donning black and gold demonic clock-themed armor with wing-like shoulder pads. On the back was a cape in the form of two clock hand and across the chest was a gold sash with blank circular devices adorning the right side of the armor. Lastly, the helmet was like a clock, black and gold with small diamonds embedded. There was clock hand-like antenna with three golden watches on the forehead. On the forehead of her helmet was the word "Kamen" spelled out in katakana and the red visor spelled out "Rider" in katakana as well. Lastly, a golden device was adorned around her waist with the number "2018" on the screen of it. This was Kamen Rider Oma Zi-O.
Oma Zi-O just watched as everyone charged for her, but she didn't seem concerned.
"I almost feel bad about doing this…Almost." She then looked to see the missiles about to hit her until she raised her arm and pointed her hand towards them. She opened her hand and the missiles stopped mid-air. Oma Zi-O then followed it up by clenching her hand, sending the missiles back at the resistance army.
Explosions occurred everywhere, either by the missiles blowing up the troops or the mechs and jets crashing towards the earth. When there were no missiles left, Oma Zi-O saw the remaining forces continue the charge before she waved her hand around.
BOOM!
More explosions occurred as Oma Zi-O then used her powers to send a telekinetic force to throw everyone into said explosions, causing countless cries of pain and despair. Oma Zi-O almost chuckled had she not notice the mechs that surrounded her. She didn't' seemed concern as she effortlessly destroyed them by telekinetically crushing them and forcing a few to explode.
Soon the smoke and fire faded, revealing the remnants of the broken resistance army.
"You fools never had a chance to defeat me." Oma Zi-O said in a stern voice. "And do you understand why? If not…I'll be glad to give you all a reminder."
Oma Zi-O raised her hand slightly before snapping her fingers, sending a powerful energy wave that literally vaporized everyone that was left while the survivors ran away in fear. Oma Zi-O spared no effort in giving chase as her rule continued to be the dominant force on the planet and nothing was going to stop her.
Not in this time, anyways.
(Meanwhile in the year 2018)
The sun was starting to rise as its rays shone through closed window shutters. A female groan can be heard from within a dark room. The person within the bed covered herself up with a blanket in the hopes of sleeping in further. However, her hopes would be dashed by…
"Ash!" The door opened, revealing a woman with long auburn hair, red eyes, and light panel lining on her right arm and on her left hand's fingers. This was Chelsea Kryis. "Come on, time to get ready for school!"
"…" There was no response so Chelsea just smirked as she pulled Ash's sheets away, revealing a teenaged girl that almost looked exactly like a younger Chelsea, save for her long black hair with an auburn steak thanks to a genetic defect. This was Ashley Kryis, or Ash as she likes to go by.
Ash looked at her mother and groaned again.
"Mom…please…"
Chelsea replied by opening the window shutters, letting light in fully and revealing Ash's room filled with various video game and anime souvenirs. Ash screamed in pain as she finally woke up and looked at her mother with an irritated expression.
"I suggest you brush your teeth, take a shower, and change in to your school uniform while I go get your sister next."
Ash got up and stretched as she lazily got out of bed. She looked to her right to see her father's old Decadriver in a small display case. While her father Nihlus did upgrade to a new belt a while back, he did give her his old one as not only did she inherit her love of Kamen Riders from him, but also because it's always been her dream to be a Kamen Rider. Not just any Rider, but the greatest one to live as well. Having the old Decadriver there next to her served as a constant reminder of her dream.
Ash sighed as she went to the bathroom right as she heard…
"The light! It burns! Mom, what the hell!?" Another female tone was heard followed by a…
SLAP!
"Language, young lady!" Chelsea complained as Ash presumed her morning routine. Soon a younger girl came in with short gray hair, which was obviously dyed that way, and two mismatching eyes, thanks to her own genetic defect of heterochromia. Her right eye was red and her left eye was brown. This was Barbara Kryis, or Barb for short, named in honor of Chelsea's mentor Babara.
Ash was now giggling as Barb was rubbing the mark on her face. Being slapped by a metal arm was something the siblings were used to, but that didn't help the pain.
"Not one word." Barb let out as she joined her older sister in brushing her teeth.
(A bit later)
Ash was now dressing up in her school uniform before grabbing her bag. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled before heading downstairs to eat breakfast. Barb, in her school uniform as well, followed suit. The two sisters started eating the breakfast their mother had prepared for them.
"So, what are your plans for today after school?" Chelsea asked with a curious look on her face.
"My band and I have practice after school. We really want to get ready for our first gig next week." Barb answered excitingly. While being the greatest Kamen Rider is Ash's dream, Barb's was for her punk rock band to succeed as she was the guitarist.
"Well, I was planning to go on a date later since I took a day off from the clockwork shop today." Ash answered plainly.
"Oh, that's so cute! My baby already has a date lined up." Chelsea teased, much to her eldest daughter's dismay.
"You should've known to expect this when you started dating the guy." Barb said as she finished her toast.
"Shut up! We've only went out a couple of times."
Chelsea then remembered something.
"Also, it looks like that your father is done with his 'work' now. He's going to be heading this home later today."
"He's going to be back? Yes!" Ash said in excitement as she finished her food while Barb looked down for some reason, but the other Kryis females didn't notice. "I can't wait to hear where he was and what Rider he was helping. Do you know what time that he'll be here?"
"Not really, but who knows? Maybe he'll be here when the time one of you two get back." Chelsea then looked at the time. "You girls should get going, if you don't want to be late! I have to go to work myself soon."
"Okay, Mom." The sisters replied as they placed on their shoes and started making their way to school. Chelsea waved them goodbye as she got ready for her own job.
For the two sisters, Ash looked at Barb with a wide smile on her face.
"So, are you excited to see Dad later today?"
"Huh? Oh…yeah, I guess." Barb replied, trying to sound optimistic, but failing to fool her older sister.
"What is with you and Dad?" Ash asked. For as long as she can remember, while Ash idolized her father, Barb was always the opposite and always have either little words of love or was not afraid to talk back at him.
"Well…it's complicated." Barb answered, really hoping for a change in subject.
"Come on, how complicated can it-?" Just then Ash realized something. She then stopped and opened her bag to see that her notebook wasn't inside. "Damn it!"
"That's what you get for playing games all night~." Barb taunted as Ash just rushed back to the house.
"Just go without me! I'll meet you at school." Ash said as she rushed home, got in, and came out with her notebook. She smiled as she placed it in the bag before noticing a gray circular device inside the mailbox. "The heck…?"
Ash took it to get a better look at the metallic object before looking around.
"Hello? Did anyone drop anything?" Ash asked around, hoping to see if there was some owner to this device but it didn't look like there was anyone around. Ash then looked at her watch and her eyes widened at the time. "Oh crap, I'm gonna be late!"
Ash then just placed the object in her bag and attempted to run to school before running past a young man in a dark hooded outfit with a gray scarf. He had a content smile under his hood as he read a book with clockwork design on the cover.
"Congratulations are in order." He remarked to Ash, getting the teen's attention.
"Huh?"
"According to this book, today is going to be a very special day for you." The man remarked before looking at Ash. "But you should be careful of the red robot."
"Right…" Ash said with a sarcastic tone before her phone rang. "Hello?"
"Ash, where are you? School is starting now!" Barb exclaimed, immediately making her older sister nervous. "Oh wait, there's a-!"
"I-I'm coming! I'm coming!" Ash then hung up, ignoring what else her sister had to say. As she placed her phone away, she noticed the young man gone. The girl shook that off and just continued rushing to school before hearing…
"TIME MAZINE!"
"Huh?"
Ash then turned to where she heard it and almost dropped her things in disbelief as she saw a giant red robot facing her as the young man predicted earlier ago.
"What the fu-?"
"Stop right there!" A young man's voice came from the robot as it looked like it was about to grab her.
Ash then screamed as she made a break for it.
"Running is pointless!" The young man said as he transformed his robot into a vehicular mode before chasing after Ash.
"Leave me the hell alone!" The teen replied as she ran through several nearby alleyways in an attempt to lose the machine. Meanwhile, said machine was flying high with the pilot tracking her every movement from inside.
Ash soon ran out of alleyways and ran into the public mall.
"Heh." Ash smiled as she was sure that she just lost the machine…only to have her hopes dashed when the robot suddenly appeared behind her.
Ash stumbled back in surprise as all the bystanders around them started screaming and running away.
"Now to deal with you…" The pilot said as he prepared his robot to grab her. Just then, a portal appeared next to it and out came a similar robot in vehicle mode but it was black as opposed to red. It rammed the red robot away before a hatch opened up.
"Quickly, get in!" A female voice said as Ash just seemed even more confused.
"Who…?"
"Just get in!" The female voice insisted as Ash noticed the red robot recovering. Seeing no other option, Ash hoped into the black robot as the hatch closed. She soon walked into the cockpit area where she saw a young girl around the same age as herself wearing a white dress, black leggings, and short white boots. The young girl was playing with the holographic interface before turning it off. "Hang onto something!" She instructed.
The black robot then summoned another portal before flying into and closing the portal. It flew through a tunnel that looked like something from a sci-fi movie. The machine then reached its destination as it left through another portal, leading to a forest area.
"We should be safe here." The girl in white remarked before landing in an open clearing. She then looked at Ash, who seemed to be in complete disbelief over what just happened. The girl in white held a sympathetic look as she said nothing, waiting for Ash to recompose herself. When she did, her first words were…
"What the hell was that!?" She then looked at the girl. "And who the hell are you!?"
"Calm down." The girl said as she lets go of the control rods and looks at Ash. "As far as names go, you can call me Tsukuyomi. I'm a time traveler from the year 2068."
"Time travel? You honestly expect me to believe that-." Ash then stopped herself as she just remembered where she is and that a giant robot attacked her only a few moments ago, so time travel isn't completely unbelievable. "Never mind, continue."
"I know who you are, Ashley Kryis and have come from the future to bring you a warning." Tsukuyomi explained as she brought up the holographic interface and typed something up before gesturing Ash to come over.
The girl nodded as she came over and looked at the holographic interface.
"In my time, humanity is oppressed by the one we call the Demon Queen, the self-proclaimed 'Savior of Humanity'." Tsukuyomi said as she played footage of Oma Zi-O effortlessly wiping out the resistance with many dead or wounded.
Ash looked horrified at what this single person was doing. She couldn't help but wonder who is this Demon Queen and why is Tsukuyomi is showing her this. However, if there is one thing she can, she can respect Tsukuyomi and all those people for continuously trying to deal with that monster despite the power that she possesses.
"This is Kamen Rider Oma Zi-O." Tsukuyomi explained, shocking Ash quite a bit. Like her father, she grew to idolize Kamen Riders since she was a child, but to see one terrorizing the future was heart-wrenching. Ash remembered her father's tales of the Dark Riders and she assumed that's what she was seeing in front of her right now on the screen. But the problem was that…where was the Kamen Rider resisting her? "In my time, Oma Zi-O has wiped out all forms of resistance in the future with her forces being the ruling body. Armies, governments, and even other Riders have tried to stand their ground. Only to end up dead or captured."
"I-Is…Is my family…?" Ash grew worried as she then thought about where her family would be in this timeline.
"I can't speak for your parents, but your sister will grow into becoming our resistance leader. She was the one who authorized my mission to go 50 years into the past." Tsukuyomi explained.
"And what is your mission?"
"To find Oma Zi-O before she gains her powers and convince her to stave off the path of becoming a Kamen Rider. Usually, time travel is dangerous, but we don't have much options left." Tsukuyomi explained. "My comrade had a different idea of killing Oma Zi-O, but bloodshed will make us no better that Oma herself."
"Okay and that's why you were in my time, right? Do you need my help or something?" Ash asked.
"In a manner of speaking."
"In what ways? Helping you find Oma Zi-O?"
"I don't have to. She's right here." Tsukuyomi replied, causing Ash to look around and seemed confused as the only people here were these two.
"I only see you and…" Ash's eyes then widened as she pieced everything together from weird man who proclaimed that this day will change her life forever, the robot trying to attack her, and being saved by Tsukuyomi herself right before time travelling to who knows when. Why would any of that happen to her unless…
"That's right, Ashley Kryis. In my time, you will not only fulfill your dream of becoming a Kamen Rider, but you will also be the one to bring humanity to its knees as the self-proclaimed ruler of the world. You are, or will be, Oma Zi-O."
"…" Ash said nothing as she just stared in disbelief. She's not only going to be a Dark Kamen Rider, but she'll be the one to rule the world through fear while her sister mounts a resistance against her. "No…NO! It can't be! I wouldn't…!" Ash shook her head in denial at this news while Tsukuyomi kept a firm expression on her face. Ash has been a normal girl her whole life despite her aspiration at times, but she never had evil intentions. Maybe a little mischievous to mess with Barb at times, but definitely not evil.
"I know this is a lot to take in, but-."
"I'm sorry, but I need some fresh air." Ash said as she abruptly left the machine and walked a few feet away from the machine before sitting down on a nearby rock. "Me, a fucking dictator…"
She looked at the lake nearby before grabbing a rock and tossing it into there out of frustration. The black and slightly auburn-haired girl just kept picking up more rocks and just tossing them into the river while Tsukuyomi was just watching her from an external camera.
"This is not what I had in mind when I wanted to become a Kamen Rider…" Ash muttered to herself as she thought back to a certain memory.
(11 years ago, for Ash)
"Ash, it's time for bed!" A male voice called out as a 7-year-old Ashley was on the couch with an expression of intent with her eyes practically hypnotized by the TV. "Ashley!"
Just then, an older Nihlus entered the room as he had a small look of disbelief.
"Come on, you have school tomorrow. You should be in bed." The older Kryis said as he approached his daughter.
"Sorry Dad, but I'm almost done!" Ash said as Nihlus looked at the TV, seeing Kamen Rider Kuuga on the TV. It was obvious that Ash took the Kuuga DVD from Nihlus's collection.
"You liked playing that a lot, don't you?" Nihlus smiled.
"This week anyways. Can I please watch one more episode? Please~?" Ash asked with a puppy eyed look on her face.
"Uhh…" Nihlus let out as he looked at his oldest daughter. "Fine." Nihlus smiled as he sat next to her. "But I'm watching too."
Ash was too excited to say anything, but nod as the father-daughter duo just watched through the episode and geeking out a bit at the same time. When the episode ended, Nihlus noticed that Ash was seemingly asleep. Nihlus smiled as he lifted the girl into his arms. He walked upstairs before passing his wife, who had a smile on her face upon seeing Ash's sleeping face.
"I'll tuck her in. You got Barb?"
Chelsea nodded at that while Nihlus just smiled back as he then went into Ash's room. He carefully tucked her in before she opened her eyes.
"Dad…"
"Hm?"
"When I grow up, I want to be a Kamen Rider like you." Ash smiled. Nihlus just smiled as he knelt down and combed over Ash's hair with her hand. A couple of years ago, Nihlus explained to his daughters about his work as Kamen Rider Decade. Ash watched Kamen Rider to understand what he meant and became a die-hard fan from that point on.
"Sweetie, being a Kamen Rider means being really strong and making a lot of tough calls, are you sure you can handle that?"
Ash nodded eagerly.
"And what makes you say that?"
"Kamen Riders are heroes, Dad. And you're one too." She smiled. "I see how kind, strong, and brave they are especially after all they've been through. I…want to be like that too. I want to be like you!"
Nihlus just chuckled as he then kissed his daughter's forehead.
"Maybe one day." He then made his way to the door as he turned off the lights. "Get some sleep now. You have school tomorrow, okay? I love you, Ashley."
"I love you too, Dad."
Nihlus smiled as he shut the door and allowed his eldest to sleep peacefully.
(Present, for Ash)
Ash just sighed as she then heard growling, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Eh?"
She then turned to where the growling was coming from to see LIVING T-Rex staring down at her with a hungry expression.
"Oh my god…" Ash silently remarked before trying to hold still as she learned in a movie that this particular dinosaur can't see if she doesn't movie.
The T-Rex then sniffed Ash and roared, making her run back to the Time Mazine.
"Tsukuyomi, start the vehicle! Start the vehicle!" Ash called out as she ran back into the machine before it closed up. She ran towards the girl, who currently just got her grip on the controls after inserting a new date. "Get us out of here!"
The machine hovered upwards, narrowly dodging the ramming T-Rex. It soon opened a portal and flew through it. Inside, Ash was regaining her breath as she was getting over the shock of seeing a live dinosaur that was trying to kill her. She then looked at Tsukuyomi with an incredulous expression on her face.
"You brought us to the Cretaceous Period!?"
"It's a remote timeline that I'm sure my comrade, Geiz, wouldn't follow us into."
"Oh right, the guy trying to kill me…for something I haven't done yet." Ash said before realizing something. "By the way, how did I become a Kamen Rider?"
"Unfortunately, much of your pa-I mean future, is only accessible to Oma Zi-O and her inner circle. All I know is that you should've gained a device called a Ridewatch which is one the transformation devices that you need."
"Ridewatch?" Ash then thought back to the strange gray device she found right before Geiz attacked her. She then pulled it out, allowing her and Tsukuyomi to examine it. "Is this it?"
"Yes! But, it's odd…it's blank. Maybe that means it hasn't activated yet. There's still time to make the right choice." Tsukuyomi realized before looking at Ash with a serious face. "Please, get rid of the device and forget about being a Kamen Rider."
Ash looked at it and sighed.
"Can you drop me off back in my time? I'll let you know there." Ash replied and Tsukuyomi nodded before…
BANG!
The whole place shook, startling both girls.
"What the hell was that!?"
Tsukuyomi brought up external cameras to see Geiz's Time Mazine ramming them from the side.
"Him again!?"
"Tsukuyomi, I know you're in there!" Geiz's voice said over his machine's comms. "Give me the girl so I can end this here and now!"
Tsukuyomi said nothing and just bumped Geiz's machine back as a form of response.
"Fine, you've forced my hand."
Geiz then bumped Tsukuyomi multiple times until the latter's Time Mazine was bumped into another timeline. The two girls braced themselves as the Time Mazine emerged and was bumping into the ground. Ash eventually fell out from the emergency hatch by accident before landing on the ground. She looked and just watched helplessly as the Time Mazine barely flew over a giant wall.
Ash just stared at the wall in disbelief as she recognized that wall.
"T-That's the Sky Wall!" Ash said with her tone in disbelief while the rest of her was excited. The Sky Wall was a plot key in the Kamen Rider Build series, one of the more recent KR series that Ash watched in her free time. "If that's there, then I'm in Kamen Rider Build's timeline! Oh man, if I hadn't just realized that I'm stranded in this time, this would be so awesome right now!"
Ash's thoughts were then cut off as she heard another growl behind her. She turned and saw a black and gray monster with gigantic arms that Ash recognizes as the Strong Smash, again, from Kamen Rider Build's show.
Ash then snapped out of her geeky nostalgia as she just realized that an actual Kamen Rider monster was right in front of her and that she was the object of its attention right now.
"Oh shit…" Ash then proceeded to run and the monster chased her. Fortunately for the teen, the chase lasted only a few minutes as the Strong Smash then noticed something and got into a defensive position. Ash was a bit confused at this. "What the…?"
"Get down!" A male voice said as Ash heard…
"VORTEX FINISH!"
Two figures flew downwards and collided with the monster, destroying him. Ash flew a few feet back from the explosion and landed on her back before the explosion faded.
"Hey, you okay?"
Ash sat up as she saw two armored figures in front of her.
One wore a black bodysuit with full body armor that were the same colors as the bottles. His helmet was blue and red with matching compound eyes with their respective colors, as they had antennas sticking out from them forming into a V shape. The right side of his torso was mainly red with his arm covered in a black and red gauntlet, while the left was blue. On his upper left chest near his collar is a prominent red spike. His right leg is covered in blue and black armor, and his left leg is the same with a spring-like accessory. Around his waist is a yellow belt with the buckle a black box-like object. Most notably, from the right (or stage left) it has a crank lever hanging off very still and has a large/medium wide circular energy generator unit. And it has two slots of some kind above a red hazard sign line. Not to mention it has two small bottle-like devices of both colors each.
This was Kamen Rider Build.
The other, like Build, he's wearing a black bodysuit but the armor design is different, but unlike him, his armor doesn't come in. His helmet is black with blue fiery eyes which designs were now pointed akin to mistaken antennas, a gold dragon face/head from between the eyes and to the forehead, and a silver mouthpiece. While it has the standard light armor pieces, like the chest, arms, and legs like Build, he has a fiery vest armor with pointed shoulder pieces which also covers a small amount of his chest. And on his left arm is an orange and blue arm piece armor device. Around his waist is the same belt buckle like Build's, but his has one blue/black and yellow/orange device that could work as a bulky body of sorts. It has a blue and red button each facing forward and it seemed to have one of the bottles slotted in.
This was Kamen Rider Cross-Z.
Ash just had her jaw open in shock as she was seeing two actual Kamen Riders in front of her. Sure, there were Riders in her family, but she never saw them transform. This was really different. She felt her heart race very fast as she was struggling to hold in her excitement.
"Hello, you okay?" Build asked again, snapping Ash out of her thoughts. Ash nodded as Build offered her his hand. Ash took it, allowing Build to pull her up onto her feet.
"So, what's a school girl doing here?" Cross-Z asked, scanning her from top to bottom.
"That's, uh, a long story. Who are you two?" Ash asked, playing dumb.
Before any of them can anaswer, a purple-haired girl in a purple armor/dress showed up.
"You guys just took care of it?" The girl asked as the two Riders started informing her what just happened while Ash stared in slight amazement. She recognized the girl from Date a Live, an anime she would dabble in time to time. She was a bit curious why these characters were in Build's timeline before remembering her father's stories regarding how the Rider multiverse worked with familiar characters from anime or games as Kamen Riders. Ash just rolled with it as seeing Build and Cross-Z in their suits was more than enough for her. But also caused her to realize…
"So that means…you're Shido Itsuka, right?" Ash guessed, much to Build's surprise. As of right now, the two were pretty much masked vigilantes to the public's eyes. Anyone knowing one of their identities is bad enough. Se
Build and Cross-Z looked at each other before undoing their transformations, revealing their civilian forms. In Build's place, it was a young teen male with blue hair and amber brown eyes. In Cross-Z's place, it was another young teen male with black hair adorned with red streaks and had red eyes.
"Yeah, my name is Shido Itsuka, Kamen Rider Build. And this is Ryuji Banjou, Kamen Rider Cross-Z."
Ash just stared in amazement as she didn't recognize Ryuji from the anime, only his last name before she was snapped out of her thoughts with…
"Hey! Were you paying attention!?" Ryuji yelled in Ash's ear, getting her attention.
"E-Eh?"
"We were asking you for your name!" The girl said before smiling. "And before I forget, mine is Tohka Yatogami! Nice to meet you!"
"O-Oh, right! My name is Ashley Kryis. But you can call me Ash for short. Nice to meet you all." Ash then realized something and had to ask about it. "I know this is a weird question, but can one of you tell me what the date is?"
"It's November 30, 2017." Shido answered as Ash nodded before thinking about something. She definitely doesn't remember anything like this from last year.
'Maybe the time machine works in multiverse theory, where timelines are regarded as separate worlds. Does that mean it's safe for me to say I'm from the future or would that even apply here since I'm not from this timeline?' Ash thought before it started giving her a slight headache. She saw that time travel can be confusing on media, but she didn't think she'd experience that firsthand.
"Uh, you okay?" Ryuji asked.
"Yeah, just a small headache."
"Well, what were you doing here to begin with?" Tohka asked.
"That's a bit complicated." Ash replied. "Got anywhere we can speak privately about this sort of stuff?"
The three stared at her before nodding.
(Later at Nascita)
"Wow…" Ash quietly remarked to herself as she was actually in the café on the Build show. Sure, the Riders weren't the same, but at least the places weren't. Again, she was trying hard to show off her geekiness to everyone around her.
"So, what were you doing there?" Shido asked as he and Ash sat on a stool while Ryuji and Tohka were getting some food in the back.
"It's complicated…I'm not sure you'd even believe me." Ash responded.
"Try me." Shido said with a confident smile as Tohka placed a plate of bread in front of them, taking one for herself.
"Well, it all started when I found this." Ash then took out the blank Ridewatch, prompting Shido to take it.
"What is this device?" He asked as some of his hair then stuck out, making Ash sweatdropped. He was examining it very closely, trying to understand the intricacies before Ash took it from his hand.
"I need this. Or…I think I will. Tell me, have you ever heard of time travel?" She asked. "Because I came from a future, which I don't know if I should talk about it since-."
Ryuji then heard a small knock on the door before he answered it before…
BANG!
He dropped to the ground unconscious. The three heard him before the gun opened fire at Shido and Tohka, knocking them out as well. Ash stuck her hands up and turned to see Tsukuyomi with a blaster resembling the one from Faiz.
"I-I didn't do anything wrong!" Ash panicked.
"No, but it looked like you were about to talk about the future!"
"N-Not that much!" Ash defended herself. While she understands that is a knock-out gun, she doesn't like the idea of being forced into unconsciousness.
"Time Mazine is outside! Now, let's go!" Tsukuyomi demanded as Ash nodded and followed her. "I'm not taking any chances of you messing up this timeline!"
(Elsewhere)
Girls in mechanized militarized aerial gear, known as the Anti-Spirit Team were practicing their aerial drills. During one of these drills, one of the girls' CR-Unit started malfunctioning.
"W-What the…!?" Just then it gave out. "Oh no!" The girl, who was using it then started to plummet to the ground with her comrades not even noticing.
Just as the girl was about to brace herself, she found that she was paused a few inches away from the ground though she herself was aware of what was going on.
"Now isn't that unfortunate?" A young man in a blue outfit and white boots remarked as he walked up to the girl. His name was Heure.
"W-What is this!? Are you a Spirit!?" She asked.
"I can definitely say no to that." Heure replied. "What I can say is that history originally stated that you were supposed to die from faulty equipment. If you contract with me, I can save your life."
"Y-You mean it!?" The girl asked with a small hint of hope in her voice. She still wasn't sure whether to trust this guy, but anything is better than just accepting death
Heure nodded.
"Of course, the choice is all on you." He replied, causing the girl to think about it for a few moments.
"O-Okay, I'll contract."
"Great choice!" Heure said as he gently brought her down to the ground before taking a blank Ridewatch, He held it over her before it turned into a purple and black Ridewatch with a demented red and blue faceplate on it. "I'll make you my Kamen Rider Build!" He then pressed on it.
"BUILD!"
He then placed the Ridewatch into the girl's chest. She screamed in pain as dark energy surrounded her body, transforming her. When the dark energy faded, she had taken on the appearance of grotesque monstrous version of Kamen Rider Build with some difference. Her chestplate had the word "Build" on it and her helmet had an actual nose and mouth with teeth befitting an Oni. Another thing about her helmet is that underneath the eyepieces were two grotesque eyes. This was Another Rider Build.
Another Build was regaining herself as her two teammates landed.
"Now, where's-what the hell is that thing!?" One girl said as they notice Another Build's appearance.
"I-Is it a Spirit!?" The other girl said as Another Build charged and punched her in the gut. The punch was so strong that it sent her flying into a nearby wall, knocking her out.
"A-Asami! Damn you!" The remaining girl took out an energy saber and tried to slash AR Build. The monster Rider dodged every slash before grabbing the AST girl by the throat.
"Now hold still…" Another Build said as she took out an Empty Bottle and draining the girl into it. Another Build then approached the other girl and drained her into another one as well.
Another Build chuckled as she looked at her collection.
"Sword…cannon…" She then groaned. "Not a Best Match."
She then wandered into the main city.
(With Ash and Tsukuyomi)
Ash was standing next to Tsukuyomi as the latter was piloting the mech back to Ash's timeline. As they were traveling the literal timestream, Tsukuyomi looked at Ash, who was staring at the blank Ridewatch while clenching it.
"So…have you given thought to what I had just said before we were interrupted?" Tsukuyomi asked, getting Ash's attention.
"I don't know." She smiled. "When I was a kid, I've always wanted to be like my heroes; the Kamen Riders especially my dad. They've always done right by people, giving everything that they have no matter the cost. I didn't think my wish would ever come true, but I still do my best to live up to their example in a small number of ways. Now you're not only telling me that I achieve my dream, but my dream becomes a nightmare to everyone else including you."
Tsukuyomi was listening intently and was surprised by the sincerity in Ash's voice, making her wonder if she really grabbed the right person. Because so far, Ash didn't seem the type of person who would grow up to become the Demon Queen Rider of Earth. Just then…
BEEP! BEEP!
"What's wrong? Is it that Geiz guy?" Ash asked as she walked over to Tsukuyomi.
"No, we're about to arrive in your timeline. I've set the machine to take us a bit back before we originally left." Tsukuyomi explained as the machine soon emerged from portal back into Ash's 2018. Ash seemed relieved to be back in her timeline while Tsukuyomi parked the machine subtly on the roof of Ash's school.
The two emerged from the vehicle before Tsukuyomi stuck her arm out to Ash. Ash didn't need any words to know what she wanted.
"In the short time that I've known you, you do seem to be the opposite of the person who rules over my time. I can't imagine what hardships will lead you to that moment…but I hope we can avoid them by giving me that Ridewatch. Please, I'm begging you." Tsukuyomi requested as Ash looked at her hand and then the Ridewatch itself.
She was looking at the key to her dream, but she would also be dooming countless lives based on the destruction she saw her supposed future-self caused. Ash looked like she about to give her answer before…
"AAARRGGHHH!"
Both Ash and Tsukuyomi heard that from nearby and raced to the railing to look down. They both see Another Build attacking the students before draining a couple of students into Empty Bottles.
"Tennis…karate…not a Best Match…" Another Build muttered in disappointment.
"What the hell is that thing!?" Ash wondered, especially why it looks like Build. She then saw the monster enter the school building, immediately worrying Ash. "Oh no, Barb!"
Ash then raced to the stairway entrance with Tsukuyomi following her.
(With Barb)
"Oh wait, there's a-!" Barb got out before the line got cut off, ending the call. Barb saw all the violence that was going outside from the window and was trying to call her sister not to come. In a matter of minutes, the classes started to evacuate.
As everyone was moving down the hall, Another Build showed up where they were supposed to exit to. This immediately startled everyone as they all started to run away from the monster. The students were all pushing each other aside until only a few were on the ground thanks to all the shoving, Barb include.
Barb sat up as she saw Another Build attacking all the other students around her, draining them into bottles and looking disappointed by the results she's been getting. Another Build then noticed Barb on the ground as she then approached her. Barb was backing up as much as she can before…
"Get the hell away from my sister!"
Ash attempted to whack it with a baseball bat that she found at the gym before reaching them. Another Build grabbed it mid swing and punched Ash away. Ash skidded on the ground as Tsukyomi ran past her and fired her blaster at the monster Rider; earning the creature's attention.
Ash sat up as she looked with a look of contempt on her face. She gripped the Ridewatch as she looked at her sister; the victim and Tsukuyomi, who is barely holding Another Build back. Watching all this made her feel powerless and…
"Frustrating, isn't it?" The same hooded man from before said as he suddenly appeared on the scene.
Tsukuyomi recognized that voice and looked at the man.
"Woz! What are you doing here!?" Tsukuyomi asked as she dodged another one of Another Build's attacks.
"Tsukuyomi, it's been too long! I would ask of Geiz, but right now, I have more pressing matters to concern myself with." Woz replied as he removed his hood, revealing his black hair swept to the side as he looked at Ash.
"Ash, Woz is a servant of Oma Zi-O! You can't trust him!" Tsukuyomi warned, causing Ash's eyes to widened as she stood up.
"W-Wait, you serve Oma Zi-O!?"
Woz chuckled.
"I serve you, Ashley Kryis and no other." Woz explained as he then knelt before her. "I swore my life's servitude to you, no matter what timeline."
"Uh…" Ash had no idea how to respond since she has never been given this kind of treatment and he serves her evil future self.
"Gggrahhh!" Another Build roared, reminding Ash what was going on before seeing her frightened sister past her.
"If you don't do anything, then this monster will eliminate your sister and everyone else in this school unless we do something, my lady." Woz calmly explained as if he knew the answer. One that Ash knew what he was referring to as she looked down at the blank Ridewatch in front of her.
"Don't do it!" Tsukuyomi begged as she looked at Ash. "I may have not known you for long, but you're a good person, Ash! If you do this, you're damning not only yourself but the entire world! Please, think about this!"
Ash did think hard about all this as she looked at the scene. This was no game or fantasy that she always dreamed of. This was a serious life-or-death situation with herself and her younger sister in the center of it all.
"At first, I just wanted to be like my dad and all the other heroes that I've seen, but now…" Ash looked defiant at the scene. "If I have to accept the power of a demon to saved my sister, then fine!"
Just then the blank Ridewatch glowed before transforming. While it's still black, the dial is white and the unturned position showed a white face with a symbol and the year 2018 on it.
"No!" Tsukuyomi got out but Woz smiled as he then pulled out a device resting on a red cushion. It looked similar to the device that Oma Zi-O had on her waist, but this one looked less regal with a white frame around a blank screen as the main component with the sides consisting of two slots.
"My Lord, I present you the Ziku Driver. Wear it proudly." Woz smiled as he knelt down before Ash took the device.
Ash studied it as she readied herself. She immediately placed it on her waist, allowing the belt to form and attaching her body to the driver.
"ZIKU DRIVER!"
Woz then gestured to the watch before Ash caught his glance and nodded, turning the dial to form a perfect face and pressing the button on top. This formed a small holographic projection of the face.
"ZI-O!"
Ash then noticed the arrow on the Ridewatch before looking at the two slots. She placed the Ridewatch into the right slot, pushing it in until the Driver detected it and locked it.
"What do I do now?" Ash asked as Woz replied by pressing the top button on the belt for her, making the right side of the driver tilt downwards. The sound of a clock ticking noise followed by a clock chime was heard after. Then a giant holographic hand clock appeared behind Ash, followed by smaller ones next to it.
"Now that to your left." Woz replied as Ash nodded. She then figured that since this is her first henshin, might as well do a pose.
Ash, shifted her arms to the right like it's a clock, her left hand the 10 o'clock and her right on the 7 o'clock. She then flickered her hands.
"Henshin!"
Ash then brought down her left arm, pulling the right side of the Driver, making it do a complete 360.
"RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ZI-O!"
A purple Katakana word for Rider appeared on the clock before detaching themselves before said clock disappeared. Then giant rolex like objects covered Ash, much to her surprise, and spun around him before shattering to bits. That revealed a new figure.
Ashley is now in a black bodysuit with magenta marks on her lower waist on sides. She also appears to be wearing a helmet that's based on a watch, with clock hands for antennas and the 'second' hand is magenta, with it landing on the ten. Her center from neck to waist appears to be based off of a rolex watch, while she has shoulder and torso armor with light purple and magenta linings.
On both wrists, she appears to be carrying two bulky watches on his forearms while she has gloves that're magenta, and on his legs are boots with black leg armor and some knob-like knee pads.
The purple word for Rider attached themselves onto his eyepieces, completing his form and complementing the small Katakana word for "Kamen" on her forehead. This was Kamen Rider Zi-O.
"No…" Tsukuyomi looked devastated as she was unable to prevent Zi-O's birth while Barb just looked shocked and Another Build seemed curious.
"E-Eh? A-Ash, is that really you in there?"
But for Woz..
"REJOICE!" He called out with his book open and a prideful look on his face while Zi-O checked herself out. "Behold, as she is the heiress to all Riders! For she is the lord of time, traveling through time and space too reign over the past, present, and future! Her name is Kamen Rider Zi-O and truly, have we been blessed to witness her birth as of this day!"
"I really did it…I am a Kamen Rider now." Zi-O said with a tone of amazement before looking at Another Build. "Time to put these new powers to the test!"
She then charged and managed to punch the monstrous Rider a few times in the chest area before barely dodging Another Build's counter attacks. Zi-O then followed up her attack with a spinning kick to the side of Another Build's head, throwing her into the nearby classroom. Zi-O charged as Another Build immediately got up. The latter met up with her before she started punching Another Build repetitively, amazed at how much power she has.
Woz smirked as he then closed his book and walked away, satisfied that his mission was a success.
"Amazing…" Zi-O commented as she prepared another punch, only for Another Build to catch her first with her claw. Another Build then performed an over the shoulder on Zi-O, making her land on and break a desk. "Ow…"
Another Build screamed at the top of her lungs as then summoned a cannon in her right hand. She aimed and fired at Zi-O as soon as the latter stood up.
BOOM!
Zi-O flew out the window and landed on her back, making her groan in pain. Another Build laughed as she jumped out the window after. Tsukuyomi saw this and grabbed Barb by the waist.
"Come on!"
"W-Wait!" Barb said, wanting to get answers but it didn't look like she was getting them any time soon.
(With Zi-O)
Zi-O just gotten back her bearings as she noticed Another Build descending upon her. Zi-O immediately rolled out of the way as Another Build's punch landed on the ground. The new Rider got up on her feet as Another Build roared and re-summoned her cannon. She started firing, causing Zi-O to run around her while all the bystanders ran off in fear.
"Damn it, I can keep dodging her forever. I need a weapon." Zi-O thought out loud too herself. As if reading her thoughts, her Driver spawned a sword which Zi-O immediately grasped and examined.
"ZIKAN GIRADE!"
"KEN!"
"Oh yeah, I can work with this." Zi-O remarked with a smile underneath her helmet. She then blocked the first shot with her sword before pulling the trigger on the handle, making the blade glow magenta. Zi-O then roared as she charged, deflecting the shots off her sword before getting close enough to the monster Rider to launch a series of slashes. Zi-O then sent one final upper slash which sent Another Build up in the air.
Zi-O then noticed an empty slot in her sword so she removed her Ridewatch from her belt and placed it in there.
"FINISH TIME: ZI-O!"
"GIRI GIRI SLASH!"
Zi-O jumped up high in the air and slashed Another Build across her body, leaving the faint image of a clock in the process.
BOOM!
Another Build exploded and fell onto the bushes nearby as the AST girl with her Ridewatch next to her.
Zi-O landed on her feet as she looked at herself.
"I really did it…" Zi-O said to herself as the girls managed to catch up to her. Barbara wore an expression of bewilderment while Tsukuyomi had one of despair and was wondering how to fix this, but…
"RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!"
The three turned to the direction of the source of that sound and saw a new armored figure.
His appearance is an obvious close akin to Zi-O's, but he is wearing a red bodysuit and his helmet is more akin to a digital watch. His visor is spread out like a butterfly, which also has the katakana word for "Kamen". His shoulder armor is jagged and pointed, with some silver/grey colored lightweight plating between the shoulders and the black "watch band" on the chest. His gloves are black with yellow/gold fingers, has two different Ridwatches on his right forearm strap, and he has black armor pieces on the legs in the same places Zi-O has his (or her) silver 'studs'. Finally, like the future ruler of time, he has a Ziku Driver with a red Ridewatch, and the belt's screen has 2068 displayed. This was Kamen Rider Geiz.
Zi-O stared at Geiz, remembering how he attacked her and Tsukuyomi earlier ago.
"You're the one that attacked me…"
"I didn't want it to come to this." Geiz remarked in a voice that sounds familiar to Zi-O. "But I can still ensure that Oma Zi-O will never be born! Even if I have to do this the hard way!"
Geiz then pulled out his axe as he then charged at Zi-O.
At a roof nearby, a certain figure was watching all this before taking a picture of it on his magenta camera before walking away.
AN: Once again, this is not a concrete idea, this is more of a concept than anything else as there are still some things I need to work on such as whether or not I need to use 2018 as the year of Zi-O, but I can worry about that later.
