Kamen Rider Agito: FES

A young woman was running away in fear as a being was closing in on her. It resembled a humanoid jaguar with a red scarf draped around its neck and flowing like a cape. This was the Pantheras Luteus, who simply growled as he pursued his prey.

The woman was soon cornered in an alleyway as the feline-themed monster growled in delight as he was eager to get his claws bloody.

"Help! Someone please help!" A woman called out in fear as the Pantheras Luteus ready his claw before the two heard an ominous humming sound.

They turned to see a figure with a light shining from his waist, hiding the figure's features. The Pantheras Luteus recognized that light.

"A-Agito!?"

The figure didn't respond before the light shined at its brightest before fading, revealing the figure in all of its glory.

The figure was donned in a black bodysuit, golden armor around his chest, wrists, knees, and ankles. His helmet had a golden piece in the middle separating his red compound eyes and silver mouth piece, and a set of horns in the forehead with small blue gem in the gap between the horns. This was Kamen Rider Agito.

"…" Agito said nothing but charged before landing a punch at the monster's face, getting its full attention.

The monster roared as he tried to claw at Agito, only for the latter to dodge ever one of those attacks. Meanwhile, another person helped the woman up. She was in her teens, light skin, red eyes, and had auburn hair tied up in a high ponytail. She was wearing a light orange hoodie, red shirt, plaid skirt, dark tights, and brown boots. The most notable thing about her was the red MP3 player wrapped around her neck with her headphones. This was Minako Arisato.

"Come on, get out of here!" Minako said, getting the young woman to safety.

"Thank you!" The woman said as she ran out while Minako only watched at the fight.

Agito effortlessly dodged another set of attacks before punching the monster in the gut, causing it to stumble back. He then rushed in and applied a series punches to the gut before landing a final one to the face. The feline monster only roared as he managed to rush at the black and gold Rider, pinning him to the wall and clawing at his armor.

Agito didn't seem concerned as he then landed a few elbow blows to the back before kneeing the monster in the gut and tossing it to the side.

The monster struggled to get up before Agito grabbed a trashcan lid nearby and tossed it at the Pantheras Luteus, getting a direct hit to the face.

The monster was back down as Agito took a deep breath and readied himself. Agito's horns fanned outward as he readied himself in a martial art pose. His symbol appeared at his feet before it swirled in the form of yellow energy. It flowed into his feet, charging them.

Agito ran at the monster, who just got up before the former jumped up into a flying sidekick position. He landed direct hit at the Pantheras Luteus, causing the monster to fly back while Agito landed on his feet and slowly turned slightly away from the feline monster.

The Pantheras Luteus struggled to get up as a halo of light appeared over its head. It roared in pain before falling down and exploding.

Seeing that the coast was clear, Minako approached Agito with an irritated look.

"Typical, the night before we leave, on these guys show up." Minako sighed. "At least, you transformed right on time."

Agito stared at Minako before reverting back to his civilian form. He had light skin like the girl, gray eyes, and blue unkempt hair with his bangs covering the right side of his face. He wore a dark shirt, black pants, and dark blue belted boots. The most notable thing about his appearance was his blue neck strap MP3 player with headphones. This was Minato Arisato.

"You know I have no control over the damn thing." He simply replied to his twin as the two grabbed their bags from around the corner. "Besides, we have plenty of time before it's midnight."

Today was the day that the Arisato twins move to Tatsumi Port Island to attend Gekkoukan High.

"Yeah, but the train is going to leave in less than an hour and I don't want to miss on account of your tardiness!" She responded before grabbing Minato's wrist and running for the tram.

After a short while, the siblings managed to make it to the tram before it started to move. The twins took their seats as Minako yawned. Unknown to them, more humanoid cat monsters watched the train leave from a rooftop before following.

"I'm going to take a nap. Let me know when we get there." Minako said as she rested her head on Minato's shoulder before closing her eyes.

Minato said nothing as he simply placed on his headphones and started listening to his playlist. As the train was starting to move, an odd blue glowing butterfly flew past Minato, getting his attention for a moment as butterflies weren't around much often in cities. He soon ignored it, used to the weirdness his life offered him.

He didn't know why he can transform or fight, it just sort of happened one day when a similar monster attacked him and his sister. Since then, Minato had no control of this power. He can only act on it, whether he wants to or not. And he definitely doesn't want to. The only thing that truly mattered to him was taking care of his sister.

Minato then took out brochure from his bookbag, which detailed everything about the school and the area it's in; Tatsumi Port Island. Minato took a deep breath as the last time they've been there ten years ago; it wasn't exactly a good memory.

After a while, the train finally made the announcement.

"Now arriving in Iwatodai Station…Now arriving in Iwatodai Station…Welcome to Tatsumi Port Island…" The announcement repeated, causing the female Arisato to stir before opening her eyes and yawning.

"We're here now?" Minako asked as Minato stood up with his bag.

"Yeah, come on, sleepyhead." He said as the two got off the train and the station after. Minato looked at the brochure for the written address before the two looked at the time.

"Nii-san, the time is…"

"I know." Minato said as the clock reached midnight. Within an instant, all of the electronics went off, their surroundings adopted a dark green atmosphere, and everyone else was replaced with coffins. The two siblings were the only ones unaffected by the sudden change.

"C-Can we just go to the place now?" Minako asked, despite her experiencing this phase of night, its creepiness never wore off on her. She clung onto her brother's arm out of instinct, looking visibly bothered.

Minato nodded as they continued their walk. They soon stopped at the written address, looking at the building in front of them.

"Wow! It's so big compared to our last school!" Minako remarked as Minato already reached the door handle.

"You coming? I'm really tired tonight." Minato said, yawning mid-sentence.

"Uh, you go ahead. I want my first experience here to happen when the world is back to normal." Minako replied.

"Alright, just don't wander too far."

Minato entered before noticing a young boy in an old school prisoner outfit at the front desk.

'What the hell?' Minato was surprised seeing someone else being able to move at this time.

"You're late. Now if you want to proceed, please sign your name here." He presented the blue-haired young man a paper.

"What is this?" Minato replied confused.

"It's a contract, just saying that you'll take full responsibility of your actions…you know, the usual stuff."

'Well, that's not creepy at all.' Minato thought as he read the paper and it didn't help clear much. "What about my sister?"

"Oh your twin? Don't worry, she'll have a role to play as well."

'Role? What the hell?' Minato looked around and there didn't seem to be much on how to assess or deal with the situation outside of signing this "contract". 'Alright, I'll play your game, kid.'

Minato grabbed the nearby pen and signed on the line with his name.

Arisato Minato.

When he was done, he gave the paper to the kid.

"No one can escape time." He then clutched the contract before making it disappear. "It delivers us all to the same end. You can't plug your ears or cover your eyes…So it begins." The boy then suddenly disappeared in front of Minato.

"The fu-?" Minako suddenly burst through the doors.

"Nii-san, are you done? I heard talk-."

"Who's there!?" A new female voice cut them off. She had neck-length light brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a pink sweater over a school uniform as her red ribbon stuck out. What placed the twins a bit on edge was the gun holster wrapped around the girl's thigh, holding said gun.

The girl seemed on edge and looked like she was about to pull it out. Minato instinctively got in front of Minako because if anyone was going to be shot, he didn't have a problem with it being him.

But before the situation can escalate…

"Takeba, wait!" Another female voice called out. Within a few seconds, the lights came back on along with the twins' MP3 players and the green atmosphere faded away.

The three looked at the new female, who had long red hair and eyes. She was dressed neatly compared to this Takeba girl, suggesting she may have come from a wealthy family.

"I wasn't expecting you two to arrive so late."

"What?" Takeba responded confused.

"These are the new transfer students." The redhead explained, getting Takeba to ease off a bit. "I'm Mitsuru Kirijo and this is Yukari Takeba, she'll be a junior like you two."

"Hey." Yukari greeted.

"Oh Nii-san, let's give our signature introduction!" Minako said with a widened smile while Minato looked very stern.

"Please no…" Minato begged, but his words fell on deaf ears.

"I'm Minako…"

"…and I'm Minato." Minato continued in a dulled voice, obviously not putting any effort into this.

"Together we are the Arisato twins!" Minako said while Minato only looked away in embarrassment, causing the former to bonk her brother on the head with her fist. "Jeez, Nii-san! You have to say it with me otherwise it's gonna look ridiculous!"

"Yeah, that's the embarrassing part about all this…" Minato replied in a dull tone, getting the two other girls to laugh at male Arisato's misfortune.

"Well, I suppose we should get you to your rooms. You must be tired from the trip." Mitsuru said. "Don't worry, your things have already arrived."

She then looked at Yukari.

"Takeba, can you take Minato to his room? I'll escort his sister myself."

Yukari nodded and gestured Minato to follow, which he did.

"Oh, uh, sorry about almost pulling a gun on you and your sister." Yukari said with a guilty look on her face as they climbed the stairs and got off on the second floor.

"It's cool." Minato said plainly as if it was nothing.

"If it makes you feel better, it's not a real gun."

"Then why do you have it? Self-defense or something?" Minato guessed.

"Y-Yeah, you never know what happens at night these days." Yukari replied, going along with that response.

They soon reached the end of the hall and Yukari gestured Minato to the door on the right.

"Here we are. Pretty easy to remember since it's at the end of the hall. Oh, and before I forget…" Yukari then gave Minato the room key. "Make sure you don't lose you key or you'll never hear the end of it."

"Noted."

"So, any questions?" Yukari asked and while Minato was more curious of the gun, he was then reminded of the kid who made him sign that contract of the front desk. Maybe he works here or something.

"Yeah, does that kid work here?"

"Kid? What kid?"

"You know, the kid I met at the front-." Minato stopped himself as he saw that brunette was genuinely confused. He decided not to press it any further, wanting to avoid any more confusion or fear. "Actually, never mind. Had a long trip here. Was probably seeing some stuff."

"If you say so. Well, if nothing else, goodnight, Arisato-san." Yukari smiled.

"Goodnight, Takeba-san." Minato responded back as he unlocked the door and entered his room. He saw the rest of his luggage nearby before changing into a more comfortable shirt and pajama pants.

The teen crashed on his bed, thinking about the kid again for a few minutes before going to sleep. It was going to be a big day for him and his sister after all.

(In Minato's dream)

Minato struggled to keep his eyes open as he found himself on the ground in that dark green atmosphere again. He looked around and saw the kid form of his sister lying next to him unconscious, but alive.

He then noticed the fire all around them before struggling more to lift his head to find the source of the fire; a trashed car. His eyes widened as their parents were in there. He recognized this scene; it was the night of their parents' death.

Minato then saw a figure endowed in pure light walk towards him. Minato thought this figure was going to attack him…until it offered a helping hand.

Minato looked at the figure and his hand back and forth a few times…before reluctantly taking it.

(The next morning)

Minato's eyes suddenly opened as he sat up just as fast, breathing heavily as sweat ran down his forehead.

"A nightmare? I haven't that one in so long…" He mused as he looked at the clock on his nightstand, which read as 7:20 AM. 'Welp, no point in going back to sleep.'

Minato yawned and stretched before going to the closet to see his new school uniform prepped. Minato changed into the outfit with his MP3 player and headphones wrapped around his neck as he heard a knock on the door.

"Hey, are you up?" Yukari's voice asked, followed by another knock.

"Yeah, I'm coming." Minato said as he opened the door to greet the girl. "Morning."

"Morning, are you ready for your first day of school?"

"As ready as I can be." He replied, but Yukari didn't seem convinced.

"You sure? You look shaken."

"I'm fine, really. Just had a bad dream, that's all." He explained as if nothing happened before the two went down to ground level.

"Nii-san!" Minako greeted as she too was wearing a new school uniform, but she had an apron and bandana wrapped around her hair.

"You cooked breakfast this time?"

Minako nodded as she gave Minato and Yukari plates of eggs and bacon.

"I may not be a good a cook as you, but I know how to take care of myself." Minako said with a smile of pride on her face. "Now eat up before I force feed you both!"

Minato and Yukari nodded as the three started to eat breakfast. After enjoying their meal, Minato got up and was offered the apron by his twin.

"What is this?"

"Apron. You're still cooking lunch for us, right?" Minako asked with a very expectant look on her face.

Minato sighed in slight annoyance as he removed his school jacket and replaced it with the apron. He knew better not to argue with his sister, especially when it came to food. Their family's signature big appetite runs deep.

"Fine." He replied, getting Minako to jump in joy.

"Yay!"

"Is he a good cook?" Yukari asked.

"Yes, he is." Minako answered as her brother started cooking for lunch. "Which I still don't understand! We've been together our whole lives and he's leagues above my own cooking!"

The auburn-haired girl then looked at Minato with a smirk on her face.

"I bet if you make Takeba-chan a lunch, she'll be head over heels for you~." Minako teased, causing Yukari to blush a little in embarrassment looking irritated while Minato just grumbled quietly to himself.

After making and packing their lunch, the three soon went out and came by the train station. They boarded while those cat monsters were watching from a nearby rooftop. Minato's Agito instincts kicked in for a second as he sensed their presence. He looked up at the roof's direction to see nothing there before the train doors closed and the vehicle started moving.

"This is one of my favorite parts of the trip. If you look out the window, it's like we're over the water." Yukari said with a smile as she did so before Minako followed suit.

"Looks really pretty." Minako awed while her twin still couldn't help but shake off the feeling.

(Meanwhile somewhere else)

"So, that's this world's Agito." A female voice said, adorning a black coat and hood. Next to her was a hooded Dark Decade. They've been watching the Jaguar Lords, wondering how to engage them after seeing them shadow Minato.

"Looks like they're trying to figure out how to draw Agito out." Dark Decade said as she looked at her assignee to this world. "For now, keep a close eye on them and test them and Agito when you feel it is appropriate. We can discuss more after that."

"Understood." The female then looked at her hand. "I'll admit, I am eager to test this new body and transformation method you have given me, Master."

The female lifted her hood, revealing a woman with neck-length white hair with a black headphone-like headband with silver linings. She had robotic red eyes that seem human.

"This world is more technologically advanced than you think, G4. No doubt the android with G3 is equipped like this." Dark Decade remarked. While Dark Decade wanted to originally revive the G4 wielder, Shiro Mizuki, she found that the AI within the suit can be evolved into an entire personality. She decided to take the risk and focused on evolving the AI instead.

The result was an intelligence on a level beyond with an android body that Dark Decade stole from this world. It was like a new person entirely.

"You can engage the Lords if you want to test out the body. Just keep focused on our mission."

"Understood." G4 said as Dark Decade left, keeping a close eye on the Lords.

(With Yukari and the Arisato twins)

The teens got off the train a short while ago as they were now on school grounds. Walking past the front gate with several students heading into the main building itself.

Yukari stopped and turned to face the twins.

"Here we are. Welcome to Gekkoukan High, I hope you two enjoy it here." Yukari smiled as she then led the two inside. "You guys should check to see what homeroom you're in along with the faculty lounge too."

She then got a bit closer to the twins and started whispering.

"And hey, don't tell anyone about last night, okay?" Minato nodded as Yukari took off while Minako stared at her brother with a cheeky smile.

"Last night? My, my, Nii-san. You're moving FAST, you naughty, naughty boy." Minato gritted his teeth as he blushed a bit red from the statement.

"I-I have no idea what you're talking about." Minato said, trying to pull himself together. He refused to be taken down by his sister, especially on their first day of school.

"Oh come on, spill it! You two were definitely flirting, right?"

"Come on, I mean, I can understand why anyone would be attracted to her but…you know what she meant." Minato said, now leaving for the faculty lounge with the desire to move on from the subject.

Minako soon followed in tow.

"You're going for the lounge? Shouldn't we check which homeroom we're in?"

"2-F. Unlike you, I actually read up on our papers before we left."

"Whatever~." Minako waved off as the twins entered the room. A female teacher took notice of the two and approached them.

"Hello, are you two the new transfer students? I'm Ms. Toriumi, I'll be your homeroom teacher for the year. I mainly teach composition." Ms. Toriumi greeted as the twins greeted back in a bow.

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Toriumi." The twins politely said in unison.

"What manners. If only more students were as polite as you two." She then checked their file to confirm their identities. "Let's see…Minato and Minako Arisato…my, you two have been to a lot of places…"

"…" The Arisato twins were quiet on that as the foster homes they've been to up to this point were not their fondest memory.

"In 1999, that was what? Ten years ago, your par-." Ms. Toriumi stopped herself and gasped in shock as she finished that report in her mind. "Oh, I'm sorry. I haven't had a chance to look at your files. Anyways, you know where your room is? Class 2-F, but we need to go to the auditorium."

The Arisato twins nodded.

"We'll meet you there." Minato added as they left.

"That was a bit weird. Usually, people pitied us whenever they learn about our parents." Minako remarked.

"I'm not complaining. First, no kid wants to be constantly reminded of their parents' deaths. And second of all, I'd rather people not treat us differently after hearing something like that. If she didn't know before, no one else does."

"I'm not complaining." Minako agreed. "I'm just saying that this is a first for us."

Within a few moments, the two were seated a bit further away from each other while the principal was giving. Minako was talking with some of the other female students while Minato was struggling not to sleep.

He then felt a hand tap on his shoulder and turned to see a male student behind him.

"Psssst…Hey, I heard you walked in here with Yukari Takeba. Do you know if she has a boyfriend?"

'How the hell am I supposed to know that?' Minato mentally replied in annoyance, but gave a shrug as an answer.

"Aw man, I thought you'd know. Well, what about that other girl you walked in with? She's pretty cute. I hope she's available."

Minato then just sent an icy cold glare as a response for that.

"W-What's with that look?" The guy asked, feeling that glare hit him right in the soul.

"That's my sister…"

"O-Oh…my bad."

"I hear talking, I believe it is someone from Ms. Toriumi's class." The principal said with said teacher glaring at them.

"Be quiet, you're going to get me in trouble." She scolded as Minato zoned out for the rest of the speech.

(Later in Class 2-F)

Both twins were settling in class with Minato listening to music on his MP3 with Minako doing the same in the seat right behind him. Soon a young man in a blue baseball cap and goatee approached them, getting their attention

"S'up you two?" He asked.

"Can I help you?" Minato asked back.

"Oh right, I'm Junpei Iori."

"Well, I'm Minako and he's Minato. And together we are…"

'Oh god, please no…' Minato dreaded.

"…the Arisato twins!" Minako finished before noticing her brother not putting any effort into that. "Nii-san!"

"I, uh, didn't know you were going to go into it that fast! I swear!" Minato pleaded in desperation.

"Very well, you are spared…this time." Minako replied, getting a laugh out of Junpei.

"Man, I can tell I'm going to like you two already. Anyways, I came here because I was transferred here when I was in the eighth grade. I know what it's like to be the new kid around. So, I just wanted to say 'hey!' See what a nice guy I am!" Junpei then took a step forward to get a better look at them. "I have to say, you guys don't seem like twins at a first glance."

'Ever heard of fraternal twins?' The Arisato twins thought as Yukari approached them.

Soon Yukari entered the room and approached them.

"Hey, Yuka-tan!" Junpei greeted. "I didn't think we'd be in the same class again."

Yukari sighed as she looked slightly annoyed.

"At it again, Junpei? I swear, you'll talk to anyone as long as they listen." She complained. "Did you ever think that you might be bothering someone?"

Junpei looked a bit offended at that.

"What? I was just being friendly."

"Whatever." Yukari said before turning her attention towards the twins. "Well, looks like we're in the same homeroom. What are the odds?"

'A little too good…' Minato thought, but that was probably his slight paranoia speaking.

"What an unbelievable coincidence!" Minako smiled.

"I agree with you there." Yukari smiled.

"Hello! I'm in the class too, you know!" Junpei complained, feeling forgotten before having a devilish smile. "By the way, I heard you two came to school together this morning. What's up with that? C'mon, gimme the dirt!"

"W-What are you talking about!? We live in the same dorm. There's nothing going on, okay?" Yukari argued, getting Minato to nod in agreement. She then looked at the blue-haired young man. "Hey…you didn't tell anyone about you know what, did you?"

Minato's visible eye slightly twitched at that question.

'Seriously!? The two of them are right there!' Minato thought, taking a quick glance at Minako and Junpei. To avoid making a scene, he just nodded as an answer.

"Good…Seriously, don't tell anyone about last night."

'Goddammit!'

"L-Last night!?" Junpei questioned with a shocked face and he wasn't the only one.

"I knew it!" Minako followed up.

"W-Wait, don't get the wrong idea!" Yukari responded, finally realizing her mistake.

"Yeah! Yukari and I only met last night! That is it!" Minato confirmed before looking at Minako. "Minako, you make a big deal out of this and I swear I'm done cooking for you for at least a month!"

That immediately shut up the auburn-haired girl before Minato glared at Junpei next.

"And you, if you say anything, a punch to the face is going to be the least of your worries, got it?"

"C-Crystal!" Junpei said while Yukari smiled at Minato. She and Minako knew that he was bluffing, but Junpei didn't need to know that.

"Thank you, Minato. Now, I gotta take care of something for the archery club. I suggest you remember what he said, Stupei." She said, calling him by his nickname before leaving.

"Y-You aren't really going to hurt me, will you?" Junpei asked Mianto as soon as Yukari was gone from view.

"No, just don't give me a really good reason to. I can't speak the same for Takeba-san."

Junpei sighed in relief before laughing.

"Ah, who cares? No one takes rumors seriously, anyways." He shook off. "She's so paranoid…"

The twins didn't seem to be too sure of that, based on experience from their last school.

"But, hey! It's your first day here, and people are already talkin' about you! Believe it or not, she's pretty popular!"

"I am well aware…" Minato said, remembering being asked during the welcoming speech. He noticed Minako adopting a playful thinking expression, which only spelled out trouble for him in the near future.

"Hehehe, this is gonna be a fun year. I can feel it!" Junpei asked as he looked at the Arisato twins. "Anyways, you guys wanna get some ramen or something? Think of it as my welcome gift for coming here."

"I could use a good meal and look around. You?" Minako asked, looking at her brother.

"Well, I don't see the harm in it."

"Great."

The three soon left the school to get a good look around the city.

(Later in the day)

After hanging out with Junpei, eating dinner with him, and touring around Iwatodai; the twins finally made it back to the dorm room. They were greeted by Mitsuru, who was seated in the sofa.

"Welcome back." She greeted. "I trust you had a fine first day?"

"It was great!/It was okay." Both Minako and Minato answered respectively at the same time, getting a chuckle from the redhead.

"That's good. Though now that you're both here, I have to ask you to refrain from leaving for the night. We still need to finalize your move."

"Fine with me. I'm beat anyways." Minato calmly replied as he already headed up to his room.

"Yeah, usually I'm the more active one compared to my brother, but I'm tired just as well." Minako said as she too was about to go up, but...

"Ah, I see our new guests have arrived. May I please have a moment?"

The twins turned to see an older man with long brown hair, glasses, and a tan suit. At his request, the two humored him by approaching.

"Can we help you?" Minato asked, feeling off by just looking at the guy.

"My name is Shuji Ikutsuki. I'm the Chairman of the Board for your school." Ikutsuki introduced himself. "Sorry, if my name can be a bit hard to pronounce. Even I get tongue-tied saying it myself sometimes."

"So, why are you here?" Minako asked as this was a very sudden visit.

"Well, first of all, I wanted to apologize about the confusion regarding your accommodations. However, it may take a while longer until you both receive proper room assignment." The chairman said as he sat down on the chair and gestured the twins to take a seat on the couch nearby, which they did. "Is there anything you like to ask?"

"Yeah, are we the only ones here?" Minako asked.

"For the moment, it's just you two, Yukari, Mitsuru and another senior by the name of Akihiko Sanada. He's the school's ace boxer." Ikutsuki explained as Mitsuru nearby was listening in on them. "Anything else?"

"Sorry if I sound skeptical, but I doubt you would go out of your way to greet two students personally." Minato said, which sounded more like a statement than a question.

Mitsuru was about to step in, but Ikutsuki stopped him.

"You are right. I am here on other business as well. Meeting you two was a convenient coincidence." He admitted. "Anything else?"

The twins shook their heads.

"Then, I hope you two have a successful school year. I'll take my leave and I suggest you two go to bed early for school. As they say, 'The early bird catches the bookworm!'" He then laughed at his own joke, while the twins just silently groaned. "Please forgive the pun."

He was soon gone.

"Minako?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't think that'll be the last we'll see of him."

"If so, I don't think I'll be ready for more dumb puns." Minako said in a monotone voice.

(With the Jaguar Lords)

Both the Pantheras Albus and Tristis were scouting around Iwatodai, trying to find the Agito that had destroyed their comrade the previous night. They growled in frustration as their search in the train station still proved fruitless.

They decide to move on from the station before the clock hits midnight. Soon the dark green atmosphere appeared again with the feline monster being the only ones able to move while everyone else was sleeping in coffins….well, most of them were.

"W-What is this!?"

The two looked down and saw a man, not in a coffin, panicking over the sudden change in scenery. The monsters seemed confused as they saw usually Agito and his sister able to move.

They conclude that this newcomer to this dark scene must be an Agito and prepare to face him, but…

"AAARRGGHH!" The man screamed in pain as black goo started pouring out in every single part of his being.

The man tried fighting it before he fell down and was soon covered completely in goo.

The monsters watched in fascination as they never saw this happen to anyone. Before they had a chance to investigate what happened, puddles of black goo started moving towards the felines.

(With Minato)

Minato was doing his best to try to sleep until he heard the sound of an elevator moving. He slowly opened his eyes before they widened in surprise.

Instead of finding himself in bed, he found himself in his school uniform sitting in a blue chair. His bedroom as replaced entirely with a completely large blue elevator room moving up with a large indicator always moving.

He then saw two figures presented before him past the large table. The figure that was standing was a female with short white hair and yellow eyes. She wore a blue elevator attendant uniform with matching boots and a hat.

Next to her, was a bizarre old man with a long nose, pointed ears, and bulging bloodshot eyes sitting on a chair. He had a large smile on his face, showing all teeth as they noticed Minato.

"Welcome to the Velvet Room, my dear young man." The old man greeted in a high-pitched voice.

"Who the hell are you?" Minato asked calmly.

"Where are my manners? My name is Igor and I am delighted to make your acquaintance." Igor greeted before gesturing to the woman next to him. "This is Elizabeth. She's resident here like myself."

"Pleased to meet you." Elizabeth greeted.

"This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter…" Igor explained. "It's been years since we've had a guest." Igor mused.

"What makes me a guest?"

Igor answered Minato's question by summoning the contract Minato signed the night he arrived in the dorm building.

"Only those who have signed the contract can enter this place…Henceforth, you shall be welcome here in the Velvet Room."

"Wait, so do you know about that kid then?" Minato asked, hoping he can get some answers.

"You are destined to hone your unique ability, and you will require my help to do so." Igor simply continued, making Minato feel ignored. "I only ask one thing in return; that you abide by the contract and assume responsibility for the choices you make."

The teen then felt a sense of déjà vu as that's what the kid said to him on that particular night as well. Just then, Igor's previous sentence clicked in his head.

"Wait, unique ability? Are you talking about that armor? Do you know what that's about?" Minato asked as Agito had always been an anomaly and acted on its own. Even if he can't learn where it came from, learning how to control it would be the next best thing.

"I am afraid that's not the ability I am referring to, though I do know it's origin." Igor explained.

Minato was a bit hopeful at the prospect of finally getting some answers.

"Unfortunately, it is not my place to tell you. That is something for you to discover on your own."

'Fuck!' Minato grunted as he was so close to getting some answers. "So, can you at least tell me if this place a dream then?"

"Yes, you are sleeping soundly right now in the real world." Igor explained. "Hold onto this…"

Igor soon materialized a blue key in front of Minato before it flew into his hand.

"'Til we meet again…" Igor said as Minato's vision soon blurred into darkness.

(In reality)

"Oi, Nii-san!" Minako said as she and Yukari were trying to wake the blue-haired teen up. It was now morning and while the girls were already changed for school, Minato was still sleeping in bed.

"Is he usually a heavy sleeper?" Yukari asked.

"Usually, but it doesn't take much to wake him up…like this!" Minako tugged on her brother's hair fringe, immediately waking him.

"Ow, what the hell!?" Minato said as he sat up while Minako placed her hand away.

"Come on, sleepyhead! We have school today!" Minako urged.

"Sorry, just had a weird dream."

"Oh, was it of Yukari~?" Minako teased, getting Yukari to blush and Minato annoyed.

"Get your head out of the gutter!"

"Well hurry up and get changed. Oh, don't forget to cook lunch for you and me." Minako said as her brother got out of bed.

"Fine, whatever." Minato said as he knew better than to argue in the morning before going to the bathroom to shower and change.

(Later at school)

Minako was doing her best to listen to Mr. Ekoda's lesson before looking at her brother nearby, who was currently sleeping in class.

She just looked around and was amazed that no one has been pointing this out. Even in their previous schools, Minato has been able to get away with sleeping in class time to time. Hell, there was one instance that Minato was sleeping in the front row of the class one time and not even the teacher called him out on it.

Soon, lunch break came up and Minako lightly shook her brother, getting him to wake up.

"Is school done for today?" Minato asked, waking up.

"Come on, Nii-san. Even I know you don't sleep in class for THAT long." Minako smiled as she looked out the window. "Anyways, it's lunch time and I was thinking we can eat up on the roof. Get a good view on the place."

"Sure, why not." Minato replied as he took their lunch and the Arisato twins went up to the roof.

"Wow…" Minako looked out the fence to see the entire city as Minato didn't seem impressed, he was still his stoic self. "Hard to believe we're going to be living here from now on, especially since…"

Minato noticed a sad look on her face before he placed a reassuring hand on her back.

"I know, but we'll make the most of this place despite that. Anyways, we should eat before the food gets cold."

The auburn-haired girl took a deep breath as she looked at her twin and nodded with a smile.

"Right, no gloom and doom for me!" Minako said to herself. "That's best for you."

Minato lightly chuckled with that.

"Yeah, stick with what you do best, sis."

The twins then spent the rest of their lunch eating in peace.

(Later)

The rest of the day mainly went off uneventful for the Arisato twins with Minato snoozing in class every once in a while. Soon the end of the day came by and the twins were packing up their things before Yukari approached them.

"Hey guys, are you settling in okay here?"

"Just as well." Minato replied as he closed his bag.

"Well, before we head back to the dorm, do you guys…want to hang out for a bit?" Yukari asked, surprising the twins a bit.

"I don't see the harm in it." Minako replied. "I mean sure we didn't start off on the right foot, but I'd say it's high time we get a proper introduction. What do you think, Nii-san?"

Minato simply shrugged.

"Okay, lead the way!" Minako smiled.

"Great!"

(In Paulownia Mall)

The three high school students entered the mall as Minako looked around in awe while her brother seemed unimpressed.

"Wow, I don't think this place was around when we used to live here." Minako remarked.

"This place was established about seven years ago." Yukari explained. "Since then, it's been pretty much the go-to hangout for a lot of people, myself included. Come on, there's a few good stores around I want you all to see."

The three spent next couple of hours checking out the stores that Yukari was recommending them. Minako was currently in line for the cashier in a clothing store while Minato and Yukari were waiting out the store for her.

While waiting, the blue-haired teen looked at the girl.

"Hey Takeba-san, can I ask you something?"

"Sure, go ahead."

"I don't mean to sound ungrateful or anything like that but; why did you ask me and my sister to hang out with you today?"

"Well…" The brunette started with a somewhat guilty look on her face. "Two reasons really; I want to get to know you guys better and I still feel a bit bad about…you know what."

Minato nodded at that.

"But there's an extra reason when it came to you." Yukari revealed, getting the young man's attention. "You seemed…I don't know, really distant. Even a little bit when you talk with your sister. I just want to help."

"You're wasting your time then." Minato coldly said to her. 'You don't want to go down this route.'

"Even so, I'm not budging." Yukari said firmly, getting a slightly annoyed grunt out of the male Arisato.

"Fine, don't say I didn't warn you." Minato said as Minako joined the two.

"Hey guys, sorry for the wait!" She said. "You guys weren't waiting here long, were you?"

"No, we're fine." Minato said as he checked the time nearby. "Looks like it's getting late. We should head back to the dorm."

The girls nodded as the guy of the group went off a bit ahead of them. Yukari tugged on Minako's sleeve to get her attention.

"Hey, your brother…"

"Isn't exactly the easiest person to talk to?" Minako finished, surprising the other girl. "Trust me, you aren't the first person to fail at a conversation and I doubt you'll be the last."

Minako then had a saddened look.

"He wasn't always like this. Used to be as cheery and energetic as I am, albeit a little shy. But then when our parents…he hasn't been the same since. Don't get me wrong; I still think of him highly as a brother and he does take care of the both of us but…I still want that innocent child that was my brother back." Minako said before realizing what she just said.

She took a couple deep breaths before she was back to her usual chipper self.

"Sorry about that, guess I had that bottled up for quite a while." Minako apologized. "Anyways, I hope you don't give up on him. I know we've only just met and I've been teasing you, but please. He could really use a friend other than me."

Feeling a bit embarrassed about the request she made, the female Arisato quickly ran ahead to catch up to her brother. Yukari watched the two siblings talk before sighing to herself, feeling a little guilty.

(Later at night)

It was around that certain dark time again and Minako just finished her homework before yawning.

"Alright, I think I'm about set." She said before deciding to get a glass of water and then turn in for the night.

Just as she was heading downstairs, she noticed both Mitsuru and Yukari tending to an injured young man in a modified version of the school uniform, clenching his arm in pain.

"What the-!?" Minako noticed as the whole building then shook.

Mitsuru first noticed Minako before the others.

"You! What are you doing here!?"

"I-I was just getting a glass of water, but…never mind that, what happened to him!?" Minako asked, looking at the injured young man.

"H-Hey…" Said man greeted as Mitsuru looked at Yukari.

"Takeba, go upstairs and wake up the other Arisato! After that, escape through the backdoor!" Mitsuru instructed.

"But, what about you guys!?" Yukari asked back.

"We'll hold it off." Mitsuru explained as she looked at Minako. "Sorry Arisato, but I'm afraid you'll have to fight in Akihiko's place."

Minako seemed shocked at that as Mitsuru picked up a gun next to the wounded guy's side.

"Wait, I can still…!" Akihiko tried to stand up but only grunted in pain.

"Don't be a fool! Go up to the command room and wait with the Chairman! You're too injured in this state!"

"…Fine." Akihiko grunted as he limped away with Yukari behind him.

"I can't leave Nii-san by himself!" Minako protested as the sounds of banging came from the other side.

"Don't worry, he's in good hands with Takeba. Plus, the best thing you could do to help him is hold off whatever's behind these doors!" Mitsuru explained as she tossed the female twin the gun.

"Uh…" Minako looked down at the gun and seemed extremely nervous.

"I know this sounds like it won't make sense…but I need you to shoot yourself in the head with that. Trust me." Mitsuru emphasized as the doors suddenly burst and three blob-like monsters with blue masks broke through.

"W-What are those things!?" Minako asked shocked as Mitsuru took out a rapier.

"Now, Arisato!" Mitsuru said, urging Minako to use the gun on herself.

Minako looked down at the gun as she felt her heart beating fast. For years, she's been living in this creepy phase of the night with her brother and now she's facing monsters like he does. But what can she do? She has no armor. How can she fight by shooting herself in the head? She then looked back at her childhood at how Minato was her only friend up to now, how he stood up to her bullies, and still cared for her despite his scars.

'I…I won't let him down!' Minako thought as she pulled the gun up to the side of her head. She didn't know why, but she knew the exact word to say as she pulled the trigger.

"P..Persona…!"

BANG!

The sound of broken glass can be heard as Minako was surrounded by blue energy. Some of the blue energy behind her formed a giant figure.

It had a yellow torso, along with white arms and legs. The joints were silver, and her head was white while a red scarf was wrapped around. Her eyes were red and fiery, her hair was auburn and flowing, and a giant heart-shaped lyre was latched onto her metal back.

"Thou art thy, and I am thou. From the sea of thy soul, I cometh. I am Eurydice, Dancer of Strings."

Eurydice roared as Minako knew what to say next.

"Eurydice…bash!" She commanded as the Persona complied by taking the lyre off her back. Eurydice then smashed the monster with the instrument, destroying it in one hit.

The second Shadow attempt to leap at her, only to be met with a forceful stab by Mitsuru, destroying it completely. There was now only one Shadow left on the field.

"Agi…" Minako commanded.

In response Eurydice strummed all the chords on her lyre, causing the last Shadow to burst into flames. As it burned away to oblivion, Eurydice faded away before Mitsuru approached Minako.

"Impressive for a first summon, Arisato." The redhead complimented.

"Thanks-." Minako then suddenly collapsed.

"Arisato!" Mitsuru rushed to her aid. The first summons always takes a lot out of the user.

"I…I'm fine…" Minako grunted as she forced herself to her feet. She felt like she could faint at any moment, but she needs to make sure that her brother is safe.

"You're in no condition to move in your current state." Mitsuru warned as she then saw Minako trying to make her way to the stairs by herself. "Arisato!"

"Can't stop me…" Minako tried to climb one stair, only to almost fall if Mitsuru hadn't caught her.

"I'm taking you to the command room with Akihiko and the Chairman."

"But-!"

"Takeba can take care of your brother." The older girl explained.

Minako was silent, but she did have a point. She felt like she could collapse at any moment and would only be more of a burden, which extremely pissed her off.

"Fine…" Minako relented as Mitsuru grabbed her arm and placed it over her neck before attempting to help her walk.

(With Minato)

BASH! BASH!

Minato awoke at the sudden sounds of bashing from his door before noticing the certain phase of night.

"Hey, are you awake!?" Yukari's voice asked before Minato opened the door, seeing the brunette.

"Takeba-san, what's going on?" Minato asked as he was rubbing one of his eyes.

"I don't have time to explain. We have to get out of here, now!" Yukari urged as she was catching her breath from running up the stairs. Before Minato can inquire more, the building shook and Yukari grabbed him by the wrist before the two ran out.

After a set of stairs, the two made it to the backdoor, much to Yukari's relief. Before they could open it, they heard banging coming from the other side.

"Dammit!" She cursed. "Only one choice left. We gotta make it to the roof!"

As the two went up the stairs, Minato stopped to look out the window to see that a full moon is out. It was odd to him since he never once saw the moon like that in all his years of this time.

"What's wrong, Arisato-kun?" Yukari asked.

"The moon…" He didn't know why, but he felt some sort of special presence from it.

"What difference does that make? We're in danger here! Do you want to die?" Yukari asked, but didn't expect this answer.

"I…don't really care." Minato replied, really surprising Yukari. "Is dying really that terrifying to you?" He wasn't mocking or taunting her. He truly didn't understand.

"H-How could you say something like that!?" She shouted back at him. Minato stared back at the brunette, seeing that this is her first time dealing with someone who just doesn't value living above all else.

"I…" Before Minato can finish, a huge dark creature comprised of dark hands, swords, and a giant blue mask appeared in window.

"W-What is that!?" Yukari questioned as the bigger Shadow stabbed the window, causing the girl to tackle Minato to the ground for safety. The creature roared as it climbed up the building.

"Takeba-san?" Minato looked at her to see that her leg had a deep cut from the window shards.

"I..I'm fine!" Yukari assured as the two saw smaller Shadows break through from the windows behind them. "We have to move now!"

Yukari forced herself up before Minato followed suit. The two continued their run up the stairs before they finally found the roof entrance got through. Yukari breathed out a sigh of relief as she then locked the door.

"There, I think we're safe now." Yukari said as Minato couldn't help but feel that she might've just jinked them. This was proven true when they heard something move behind them, much to Yukari's fear.

They turned and saw that giant monster from before staring down at them. Minato felt his Agito instincts kicking in as he attempted to summon his belt before Yukari got in front of him. She pulled out that gun from the previous night and had it pressed against her own forehead, much to Minato's confusion.

The brunette was breathing heavily as she trembled. Yukari just couldn't find it in herself to pull the trigger before being swatted away by the monster as if she was a pest, making the gun fall to his feet.

Curious, Minato picked up the gun as he then saw the monster looking down at Yukari. The young man's breathing trembled as he remembered his parents' death in this phase of night. How he was powerless to stop their deaths. Not again, not if he had anything to say about it.

Unknown to him, his resolve had already summoned Agito's belt; the Altering. Minato placed the gun up against the side of his head as a smile crept up on his face.

"Per…so…na!"

He then pulled the trigger.

CRASH!

Minato's smile widened wickedly as blue energy surrounded him before it formed up behind him, creating a new figure. It mostly resembled Eurydice, but the differences are that the main body was turquoise, its lyre was more traditionally shaped, and its head resembled more like Minato's with white hair albeit a bit longer, red eyes, and a dark mechanical face.

"Thou art thy, and I am thou. From the sea of thy soul, I cometh. I am Orpheus, Master of Strings."

Yukari was shocked by Orpheus's appearance and the sudden belt wrapped around Minato's waist. Minato only smiled before…

"At last…" A dark grim voice rang in Minato's head.

'Huh…?'

"At last…I AM FREE!"

Minato's started screaming in pain as he clenched his head in both hands while his eyes started to glow blue. Orpheus started reacting the same way as his head was pulled into its body while the rest of his being started convulsing.

Soon a pair of white-gloved arms emerged from Orpheus's body before tearing that body apart, revealing a new figure. It had a dark buttoned coat, six coffins hanging from its back splaying out like they were the devil's wings, a sheathed sword on its hip, and a white mask with a jaw attached to the bottom.

"Thou art I and I am thou! I am Thanatos, Harbinger of Death and finally, after all these years…I. AM. FREE!"

Yukari's shock doubled upon seeing Orpheus's violent transformation into Thanatos. However, the worst was yet to come as the stone in Minato's Altering started changing color, changing from bright yellow to blue as a dark device with a card slot attached itself onto it.

"Henshin." Minato said in a monotone voice as his Agito instincts completely took over before pressing both sides of the belt with the symbol of the Death Arcana appearing in the stone.

Four blue energy chains emerged from his belt and wrapped themselves around Thanatos's wrists and ankles.

"What!?" Thanatos tried freeing himself, even going as far as attempting to cut the chains with his sword, but that proved useless. The chains then started to recoil back into the belt, throwing Thanatos into Minato, resulting in a massive explosion of blue fire. The force blew both the Shadow and Yukari a bit away before the flames died down, revealing a new armored figure.

He stood up and while his figure was hidden under the cover of nightfall, the only distinct features that stand out were his glowing blue compound eyes and a human-sized version of Thanatos's sword in his right hand.

The giant Shadow only stared at the figure while Yukari just seemed shocked and a bit intimidated.

(In the Control Room)

"W-What the hell is that!?" Akihiko questioned as he and the others were observing everything that transpired via the security cams.

The others were just as shocked seeing Minato, not only Awaken his Persona, but to have his Persona transform into another one before merging with it to become…whatever that is on the screen.

Mitsuru and Ikutsuki were clearly shocked for obvious reasons, while Minako was barely able to keep herself awake as she looked at the figure that was supposed to be her brother. She had a feeling that his Agito power would mix in with his Persona power one way or another, but this…yeah, she had no clue.

"Nii-san…"

(With Agito)

This new Agito just stood as the large Shadow finally decided to take action and lunged at him. The Rider just stared at him as he was then gone in an instant. The monster searched around for its prey before looking up in the sky to see the figure mid-leap with the moon shining down on him, showing off his features entirely.

His helmet resembled the same as his original form, but the horns were silver as opposed to gold and his compound eyes were blue. He had a dark body suit on, white armored gloves and boots, Thanatos's coat but it was opened which revealed a dark silver chestplate with the black stone in the center of his chest. On Agito's right shoulder, there splayed four smaller coffins wrapped around it and on his left was a white padded shoulder-pad. The Altering was still wrapped around his waist with the dark device still latched on and the stone in the center displayed the symbol of the Death Arcana. Lastly, in his right hand was Thanatos's sword. This was Kamen Rider Agito Persona Soul: Thanatos.

Agito then dove down and landed on the monster's back, taking his sword and plunging it into the creature's back. The Shadow screamed in pain as Agito then ran across its back with his sword, slitting it wide open. When he reached to the back of the head, Agito then cut through its mask, splitting it into two.

The large Shadow roared in pain as more of the smaller Shadows appeared to its aid and charged at Agito. The dark-themed Rider simply stared blankly as he effortlessly cut through a couple of them before catching another by its mask.

"…" Agito then crushed it, destroying the Shadow. Meanwhile, the larger disfigured monster roared and tried charging at Agito. The Rider only growled a little as his horns folded out as an energy Agito symbol appeared before him. He then stabbed the symbol, causing his blade to lit up as it absorbed it.

When the two were only a few inches apart, Agito then sent a series of rapid slashes which caused the monster to explode to dark clouds and small piles of goop. Agito watched the piles of goop dissolve before walking up to one of them…and started stabbing it rapidly.

"Hehehehehe…." Agito chuckled as he continued stabbing the last remainder of the large Shadow before it dissolved. The Rider kept chuckled as he held the side of his helmet with one hand.

Yukari was staring at the man in both awe and fear. Minato seemed to be a real stoic at first glance, but when seeing his Awakening, transformation, and brutal fighting style, it was clear that he was anything but normal. Even compared to her and the rest of the team.

The brunette slowly got up and approached Agito with deep breaths, unsure how he'll react to her.

"A-Arisato-kun…?" Yukari called, getting Agito's attention. The Rider stared at Yukari and looked like he was about to do something before his eyes went back from blue to red. His horns folded back before the device on his belt detached and fell on the ground. Agito groaned as he reverted back to his default Ground form. He then immediately reverted back to Minato.

Minato looked like he wanted to say something before collapsing onto the ground. Yukari knelt down and picked up the device before checking up on Minato.

Unknown to them, the android G4 had recorded everything and the battle intrigued her. Not only do new types of monsters exist in this world, but this Agito has new untapped powers. She hoped that this analyzation will be of use to her in the long run.

"Battle Assessment; Agito has torn through the monster with ease. Saving combat data for further analysis." G4 said to herself as she then summoned a Gray Mirror and escaped through it.

Meanwhile, the Jaguar Lords also saw the battle while combating the smaller Shadows. While they knew Agito's powers at a first glance, they had no idea that it can be tapped into in this manner. Facing this Agito will be a lot tougher than they had anticipated. They will need to reach out to their Master and other Lords.

(In the Command Room)

"…" Everyone just stared in shock, having witnessed that massacre.

"D-Don't just stand there! Help him!" Minako screamed, snapping everyone out of their trance of shock.

"R-Right! Mitsuru, can you get to Yukari and help her with Arisato-san?"

"On it!" Mitsuru said as she rushed out of the room.

"Please…" Minako let out, getting Akihiko and Ikutsuki's attention. "Please help Nii-san…I'm begging you! He's all…I have…left…"

That was when Minako's energy ran dry as she too then collapsed, finally straining from her first Awakening.

"Well, looks like things are going to be interesting this year…" The older man said as he continued typing into the computer with a small smile on his face.

AN: And there's my Agito preview! I've had a fondness for Persona a couple years back and I wanted to bring this into my Rider-verse. I then thought of Agito and Persona 3 since Agito represents light and Minato is the Messiah, despite his personality.

Which brings me to another subject of the matter, he may seem more expressive with his thoughts but that's because of his relationship to Minako (FeMC). He's still as stoic on the outside though.

Anyways, please review or send PMs for questions, comments, or concerns. Don't be afraid to review this chapter, send questions, or look at my other fics.
