The scent of Lavender
Towa and Riku had enough walking into the deep forest. Still in hiding from Riku's former half, Kirinmaru. "Towa-sama, we should take a break for a bit." Riku lets the silver haired girl know. Looking anywhere for a place to sit for the time being. In agreement with Riku, she'd point out a small log not too far from there. "How about over there?"
His vision follows her pointing finger. Looking to how small the hideout was. Giving her a shrug as they'd walk further into the small space. The small space was of few logs. Though a huge log stood out for them. Deciding on sitting there they would.
Once they've seated themselves Towa felt a little more relaxed. Sighs as she looks up the closely dark sky. "It's close to being evening." She says.
Riku keeps a distance between her. Not really wanting to make her uncomfortable. Though seeing her looking to the sky as he gazed lovingly at her. 'She's such a pure heart.' The unknown good or bad guy was surely continuing to fall for the half human teenager.
She'd rub her hands together feeling it dry. Knowing immediately she needed her hand cream. The hand cream her family in the human world had given her. Squeezing the bottle as she puts the cream on both her hands. Though she didn't take notice that someone was watching her.
It being Riku.
They stared at one another. Continuing to rub her hands together. Deciding up close he'll be needing the cream too. She gives him a cute goofy grin. He couldn't help but return a goofy grin from his own face.
"You're going to be needing this as well, Riku." Closing her eyes as she shook off her nervousness.
He watches scooting a little closer to her. Her eyes opening till she sees his goofy grin up close. He watches with a gleaming stare in his eyes.
"When you're ready, Lady Towa."
"Yes, here it goes, Riku." She slowly damps his whole face with the scented cream.
The smell of it tickles his nose. Right away recognizing the smell too. Towa was glad he caught on as she moves her hand away from his face.
"Is this lavender?"
"Yes, it is."
They smiled among each other. Riku inches his face close to hers.
"Just like that time you helped me with my eyesight."
His comment had her face flushed. Continue on laughing as he suddenly pecks her cheeks, and nose. A little startled she backs away.
"You're always helpful, Towa-sama." He touches his face. "For that I thank you."
She just nods her head. Getting up from where she stood at, grabbing her small bag once she stuffs the cream back into her bag. Riku does the same standing up from the log.
Beginning to walk away from the small spot they were just in. Riku follows suit. He stays walking slowly behind her the most. For Towa, she couldn't help get rid of the smirk he'd given her. It played over and over in her mind as her face reddens.
Riku already knowing he was affecting her train of thought. He'd continued on with his smirk.'She's just too darn adorable!' From there they'd walk onto their next destination.
