I am SO sorry for not updating this sooner! But I have been under a lot of stress with college and writer's block that I haven't been able to get this done sooner than I would've liked. I was struggling with what to do with this chapter so I'm feeling a little iffy about it, but I hope you guys like it so here it is!
One thing Delilah loved about having Marlene as a dance teacher was that she let her students pick out their own costumes. She believed that it helped them express themselves more in their dances, which brings out the best in them as they perform. The costumes had to be approved by Marlene, of course, but overall, the students had the say in what they wore.
That was why Delilah was at the mall with Annie after school on Friday. Now the brunette was really starting to regret even telling Annie about going to the mall. If shopping was an actual sport, she and Lydia Martin would be the front runners. With Annie, Delilah would be at the mall for hours, like now. They've been there for three hours so far and Delilah was so done with the whole trip. Plus, she was still upset with Annie over the whole Isaac situation at lunch the other day.
"Annie, can we please stop?" Delilah whined as she plopped down on a bench, "My feet are killing me!"
"Oh, stop complaining," Annie said, waving her off, "You're the one who's being indecisive with your costume. I gave you options but you shot down every single one of them."
"Because they made me look slutty!"
Annie scoffed. "They weren't even that bad."
"Um, those first pair of shorts you made me try on literally ended right here." Delilah placed her hands only a couple inches down her thighs. "My thighs looked huge and it was disgusting."
"Not even. But if you really don't like anything I pick out for you, then you better hurry up and find something. Even I'm getting impatient."
Delilah rolled her eyes. "Can we at least take a break?"
"Nope," Annie said, pulling on Delilah's arm, "Come on. The sooner we find your costume, the sooner we can leave."
The brunette groaned but allowed herself to be dragged over to some department store. She ventured off from Annie to look around the women's section. Nothing was really standing out to her though. Delilah wasn't looking for anything extravagant, just something that would fit well with the music and routine. It called for a simpler yet effective outfit.
It didn't take long for Delilah to come across a grey blazer with a black outline. Simple yet effective, which was exactly what she wanted. Delilah checked the price tag on the sleeve. Only thirteen dollars. That actually fit Delilah's budget. She grabbed the blazer and continued to look for something else to complete her outfit. She ended up finding a pair of black laced shorts and a black laced bandeau that she liked.
"Did you finally find something?" Annie asked, looking over the shoe section.
"I think so," Delilah said, "I'm gonna go try these on."
She headed over to the fitting room and went into one of the stalls. After stripping out of her white blouse, jeans, and pink Vans, she put on the clothes she found. When Delilah first looked in the mirror, she was surprised how well everything fit her. The shorts were the perfect length- not too short and not too long. And the bandeau acted sort of like a push-up bra. Her breasts looked incredible! The thought made Delilah chuckle a bit. She then shrugged on the blazer, which was the perfect touch to complete her costume.
Placing a hand on her stomach, Delilah turned her body to the side. She always had a bit of a roll in her stomach, but it wasn't bulging. It was still enough to make her insecure around her size two friends. And she had scars and bruises on her stomach from Lawrence hitting her. Her friends have seen them when they changed in the locker room, but once Delilah told them that it was just from color guard and dance, they never mentioned it again. That's why it seemed so bold for Delilah to wear something that would reveal her stomach like this. What would her peers think? What would the judges think?
More importantly, what would Isaac think if he saw her wear this?
"Hey, Annie," Delilah called out, "Come here."
She opened the door and waited for her best friend to come over. Annie's eyes widened when she saw Delilah standing in the doorway.
"Damn, D!" she gasped, "Look at you!"
"What do you think?" the brunette asked, "Is it too much? Does it make my stomach look big?"
Annie shook her head. "No, not at all. It actually looks so flattering on you. You look hot!"
Delilah laughed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror once again. "So… is it good?"
"Oh, yeah, definitely," the blonde said. She clapped her hands together. "Yay! After four hours, you finally found something! It's a new record!"
Rolling her eyes, Delilah shrugged her blazer off and placed it back on its hanger. "Ha ha, very funny. Let me put my clothes back on and then we can leave."
"Okay."
After Annie walked away from the fitting rooms, Delilah shut the door and shed the bandeau and shorts. Then she put on her regular clothes, grabbed her clothes and went to find Annie. She then paid for her clothes and together the best friends walked to the food court.
"Didn't we eat when we got here?" Annie questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, but I thought I'd surprise Isaac by bringing him some dinner," Delilah told her, "He's working tonight so I figured that he might be hungry."
"Oh," Annie said with that same disapproving look she always got whenever her best friend talked about Isaac, "Okay then."
The brunette let out a sigh. "Seriously, Annie?"
"What?"
"You're giving me that look again."
Annie shrugged her shoulders. "What are you talking about? What look?"
"Every time I say Isaac's name, you scrunch your nose like you smelled something really bad and you try to look at anything else but me."
"I do not!" she scoffed, twirling a strand of her blonde hair.
Delilah pointed at her hair. "You also play with your hair when you lie."
Annie was about to protest until she looked down at her hair. She rolled her eyes and dropped her hand. "Damn it."
"Why are you acting like this?" Delilah asked disappointedly, "I thought you were okay with Isaac now."
"Correction, I said that I was fine with you two dating. I never said that I was okay with him just yet."
This was just ridiculous in Delilah's opinion. It made her think back to a few days ago at lunch which just made her even more upset. But instead of saying anything, Delilah just shook her head and looked at the menu above her to decide on what to get Isaac to eat.
"Are you gonna be grumpy with me now?" Annie asked, "It's just that seeing you with him is something I'm not used to. It's not a big deal."
"Well, it is to me, Annie," Delilah said, "If Isaac and I are going to be together, I need my best friend on my side instead of ridiculing him along with everyone else."
It didn't take long for Annie to realize what Delilah meant. She scoffed and crossed her arms. "Is that what you're really mad about?"
"Because you're my best friend, I'm gonna be honest with you. Yes, what you said about him on Monday at lunch did upset me. And why wouldn't it? About seventy-five percent of that whole conversation was you guys talking shit about him."
"All we're doing is looking out for you, D. Why is that so hard to understand?"
"Yeah, because Isaac is so deadly," Delilah said sarcastically, "He's a human being, Annie, not a monster."
"Well with a dad like his, I wouldn't be so sure."
Hurt and betrayal seeped through the brunette's veins at her best friend's harsh words. Delilah thought back to when she and Isaac confessed to each other about their abuses. From everything he had told her, Delilah knew that the boy she cared deeply for was nothing like his father. He couldn't be any more opposite. But did everyone see that? Apparently not, and it was breaking her heart.
As she was deep in thought, Annie pulled out her phone to check the time. She sighed as she slipped it back in her purse. "Look, I gotta go meet up with Emmett so we can go to the movies. I'll see you later, okay?"
"Yeah… sure," Delilah sighed as Annie walked away.
It wasn't worth getting mad over anymore. There was nothing she could say or do to change Annie's mind. So Delilah decided to just let it go for now and by dinner for her and Isaac. She bought them some Chinese food and then left the mall to go visit Isaac at work.
The only time Delilah had ever been to the local cemetery was when she was nine years old. It was for her grandmother's funeral, which was the first and last funeral she had ever attended. Her death was extremely hard on Delilah. When Gloria started getting into drugs and seeing Lawrence, Delilah would go over to her grandmother's house and they would spend their time together. There were times that Delilah would even stay at her house for quite a while to get away from her mother.
At one point, her grandmother had actually started planning on gaining custody of Delilah. The odds were looking pretty good for her, too. But before anything could be done, her grandmother got sick and passed away soon after. Not only did Delilah lose her best friend, she had no choice but to stay and live with Lawrence's abuse since she had no other relatives she knew about. Foster care wasn't an option either since there wasn't a lot of evidence to prove that Gloria was unfit to take care of Delilah. Lawrence had hid all of the drugs before social services checked up on their house. Delilah was forced to stay with her mother and stepfather.
Delilah pulled up in front of the cemetery with the Chinese food next to her. She could spot Isaac working a backhoe and digging up a place for an upcoming funeral. The corners of her mouth turned up a bit as she watched him work. He was just so adorable! Delilah grabbed the food then got out of the car. Isaac still didn't see her when she walked in the cemetery.
"Hey, stranger!"
Isaac looked down and grinned when he saw the brunette smiling up at him. He shut the backhoe off and hopped down from it.
"Hey," he smiled as he walked over to Delilah, "What're you doing here? I thought you were out shopping with Annie."
"I was," Delilah said, "but we ended earlier than expected and Annie was going out with her boyfriend tonight." She then held up the bag of food in her hands. "And I figured you'd be hungry so I decided to bring you some dinner."
The sweet and unexpected gesture made Isaac's smile even wider, if that was possible. "You're so awesome. You know that, right?"
Delilah smirked as she shrugged. "I've been told that a couple of times. But that doesn't mean that I don't mind hearing it so can you repeat that for me, please?"
Chuckling, Isaac placed his hands on the girl's hips. "You, Delilah Lambert, are the most awesome and beautiful person to ever walk the earth." Then he lowered his head so he captured her lips with his.
"Awesome and beautiful," Delilah smiled as she wrapped her arms around Isaac's neck, "Didn't anyone ever tell you that flattery will get you nowhere?"
"I'm just stating the facts," Isaac said, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. He kissed her again and the brunette reciprocated immediately.
But Delilah pulled away before things could get too intense. "I could do this all night, but we should probably eat before the food gets cold."
Isaac nodded his head. "After this." He pecked her lips one last time before taking her hand and leading her somewhere so they could sit down.
He took Delilah to the wall where people cremated were buried. There was a bench in front of the wall so the pair sat down. Delilah handed Isaac his food before taking out her own container. They made small talk as they ate their dinner.
"So what were you shopping for?" Isaac asked after he swallowed a bite of food.
"My outfit for my solo," Delilah answered, "My dance teacher lets her solo dancers pick out their costumes as long as she approves of them. It's pretty cool. What isn't cool, however, is spending more than three hours at the mall with my crazy shopaholic of a best friend."
"It couldn't have been that bad."
"It is when Annie makes me try on clothes that make me look like I should be in a strip club." She saw the corner of Isaac's lip turn up and she pointed her fork at him. "Do not get any images in your head."
The blond raised his hands in defense and chuckled. "I'm not saying anything. Did you find what you were looking for though?"
"I did," Delilah said with a smile, "It may have taken a while, but I finally did it. And I actually picked it out myself."
"That's cool. So can I see it?"
"If you go to my competition next Saturday, you'll see it." When Isaac whined in protest, Delilah smirked and shook her head. "I'm not giving my outfit away. You'll just have to wait and see."
Isaac sighed dramatically. "Fine." He looked up at Delilah. "Are you nervous?"
"A little," she admitted, "I mean, it's not the first solo I've done, but I still get nervous before I perform. Also I really wanna do well because this is the first dance I feel that I really connect with, you know?"
"Yeah, I get it," Isaac nodded, "But either way I think you're gonna be amazing. I remember last year when you performed in the talent show at school. It was awesome."
"Really?" Isaac nodded again and Delilah covered her face in her hands. "I literally came up with that dance right on the spot. It was so bad!"
Chuckling, Isaac took the dancer's hands away from her face and intertwined their fingers. "Well I thought you were great. And I still think you were totally robbed by that 'rapper' that won."
"It was okay," Delilah shrugged, "He was a senior so I wasn't too upset about it."
"Still, you should have won. You had the best act in the whole show. No question about it."
They soon finished eating their food and Isaac got up to throw their trash away. When he came back, he sat down so he was sitting right next to Delilah. He wrapped his arm around her waist and she rested her head on his shoulder. A smile appeared on his face when he felt Delilah snuggle into his side. It was like a dream come true.
"So, you have your first game of the season tomorrow night," Delilah smiled up at him, "Are you excited?"
He shrugged. "I don't know. Kinda. It's just that I don't really get to play much."
"Well, maybe you'll get to play tomorrow. Even if you don't, there's always the next game. Just be positive." She then pressed her fingers on Isaac's cheeks to make him smile. "See? You look so handsome when you smile!"
Isaac rolled his eyes and swatted Delilah's hands away, making her laugh. He wrapped his arms back around her and rested his forehead against hers.
"You're still going tomorrow, right?"
Delilah nodded. "Of course. And I'm still planning on making that shirt that I'm gonna wear so everyone will know that I'm there for Isaac Lahey."
"I thought you were kidding about that."
"Nope," Delilah grinned, "I bought the shirt and paint already. I just have to design. I think you'll like it. You'll see."
The blond's heart swelled at the thought of seeing this beautiful girl wearing something that had his name on it. It probably wouldn't be a big deal to anyone else, but it was to Isaac. Delilah wasn't afraid to show him off to everyone despite his reputation, and that surprised him. It was like she was proud to be dating him, and the fact itself left him in bewilderment. He never once thought that he would even talk to Delilah, let alone date her.
Breaking him from his thoughts, Delilah gently brushed his curly hair back so she could see his eyes properly. Isaac lightly gripped her chin and kissed her. She smiled into the kiss, making Isaac do the same. Delilah then wrapped her arms around his neck as Isaac pulled her closer to him. When their lips separated, Delilah sighed in content. Isaac chuckled at the girl's reaction before kissing her again.
None of them even knew how much time had passed as they were making out. They were too focused on each other to even care. Isaac should be going back to work but he just wanted to stay with Delilah just a bit longer. They never really get to hang out much at school expect for chemistry class because her friends always watched her like a hawk. Especially Annie and Trenton. It sucked, but that just made the moments Isaac did get to spend with Delilah much sweeter.
It was very dark out, so when a bright light shone in Isaac and Delilah's faces, the pair immediately pulled away from each other. They looked up and Isaac's heart completely dropped when he saw his dad standing in front of them with a flashlight.
"Dad!" he gasped. He looked back and forth from Delilah to his father. "I… uhh…"
"Do you wanna explain to me why you're not working right now?"
Once again, Isaac was a loss for words. He could not stop stuttering and he was looking like an idiot in front of Delilah. The girl caught on to Isaac's nerves and she placed her hand on his chest to get him to stop rambling.
"It's my fault, Mr. Lahey," Delilah said as she stood up, "I had brought Isaac some dinner and we just lost track of time."
Dave looked over at the brunette. "You Gloria's daughter?"
"Yes, I'm Delilah," she answered, "I'm also Isaac's girlfriend."
The response shocked both Lahey men, mostly Isaac. Dave looked up and down at Delilah. "Yeah, you definitely inherited her looks. Not too bad…"
It was obvious that he liked what he was seeing, and it made Delilah extremely uncomfortable. Isaac noticed this so he stood up next to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. He rubbed his thumb in circular motions and Delilah relaxed underneath his touch.
"Well, I really should get going," Delilah said. She looked up at Isaac. "I'll see you at the game tomorrow night." Standing on her toes, she kissed Isaac's cheek. Then she pulled away from him. "It was nice meeting you, Mr. Lahey."
"You too."
As Delilah walked away, Dave's eyes lingered on her rear longer than they should have. Isaac clenched his fist tightly. It angered him to see his own father ogling over Delilah like she was a piece of meat. He was a sick man.
Dave turned to his son. "I still don't know why the fuck a girl like her would want to be with you."
"You and me both," Isaac mumbled.
"Don't think that I'm gonna let you get away with taking a break because she was here," Dave sneered, pointing at Isaac, "As soon as we get home, prepare to go down to the basement. Got it?"
Isaac nodded his head, knowing what his father meant. "Y-yes, sir."
"Now get your ass back to work," Dave spat, shoving Isaac's shoulder harshly, "Those graves aren't gonna dig themselves."
It was now game night. At the Porter residence, Delilah was getting ready. When she got home from visiting Isaac at the cemetery, she grabbed the maroon crew neck sweater and puffy paint she bought and got work. On the front of sweater, 'Lahey's #1 Fan' was written in white and on the back it had Isaac's last name written above his jersey number. Delilah paired it with some skinny jeans.
As she sat on her bed and tied her shoes, she heard someone knocking on the door. She looked up and saw her mother enter the room.
"Hi, Mom," Delilah smiled softly.
Gloria smiled back. "Hi, sweetheart. You heading out for the game soon?"
"Yeah. I'm just finishing up getting ready and then I'm leaving." She stood up and headed over to her mirror. Then she started fixing her hair. "What about you? Got any plans for tonight?"
"No, Lawrence and I are staying home," Gloria answered, "We need to get some stuff done around the house."
In other words, they'll be snorting cocaine and getting drunk off their asses. Delilah frowned slightly but continued to play with her hair.
"So," Gloria said, "what's going on with you and the boy next door?"
"Isaac?" Delilah said, "Well, we really like each other. But we haven't made things official yet. Hopefully we will soon though."
Her mother nodded her head in understanding. "He's a good kid. But I thought there was something going on between you and Trenton."
"Oh, no," the brunette immediately said, "He thinks that there's something going on between us. Although I've made it clear many of times that I just want to be friends. But he insists on trying."
"Well maybe once you're with Isaac officially, Trenton will back off."
"Highly unlikely, but I can only hope."
Gloria likely chuckled and looked over at her daughter sincerely. "You know I just want you to be happy, right?"
Delilah stopped what she was doing. She wasn't sure how to feel about her mother's comment. A part of her wanted to say, "If you really wanted me to be happy, why do you let your asshole of a husband throw me around like his rag doll?" But she already knew the answer. Gloria was afraid of Lawrence herself. Delilah knew her mother loved her, but she also knew if Gloria tried to stand up to Lawrence, he would start hitting her too. In some twisted way, Delilah understood. She didn't like it, but she understood.
"I'm gonna go now," Delilah said softly, grabbing her purse. She walked over to Gloria and kissed her cheek. "I'll see you later. Love you."
"I love you too, sweetheart."
By the time Delilah arrived at the school, the bleachers were pretty packed. Almost the entire school was there to watch the first lacrosse game of the season. It was always an exciting time for Beacon Hills. Delilah adjusted her sweater to show off Isaac's name. She wanted everyone there to know who she was really rooting for.
As she searched around for a spot to sit at, Delilah noticed a familiar blonde sitting by herself, playing with the ends of her hair. She smiled and cupped hands around her mouth.
"Erica!"
Said girl looked up and saw Delilah wave at her. Erica couldn't help but smile and wave back. She patted the empty space next to her, telling the brunette to come sit next to her. Delilah gladly accepted the offer and headed over to her new friend.
"Hey!" Delilah greeted as she hugged Erica, "It's great to see you here!"
"Yeah, you too." Erica pointed to Delilah's top. "I like your sweater. It's cute."
"Thanks. Isaac thought I was joking when I said that I was gonna make a shirt to support him, but I always stay true to my word."
Erica giggled. "I've seen you two interact with each other all the time during class. You make the cutest couple ever."
Delilah sighed and moved her hair so it was all falling down one shoulder. "I wish we were a couple."
"Wait, you're not?" Erica asked with wide eyes. The brunette shook her head. "Why?"
"I don't know," Delilah shrugged, "It's just something we haven't really talked about. And we've both been going through a lot of other… stuff lately. It's never really come up." She began to blush when she remembered what had happened the previous night at the cemetery. "But I did tell his dad last night that I was his girlfriend."
The blonde started laughing. "Are you serious?! What did Isaac say?"
"He didn't say anything! The poor guy looked like a deer in headlights. I was trying so hard not to laugh but his face was so cute!"
"So do you plan on talking to Isaac about getting together?"
Delilah nodded. "Absolutely. I was hoping that I could talk to him after the game tonight because I don't know how much longer I can go without actually being with him!"
Laughing once again, Erica patted Delilah's knee. Well I hope that it goes well for you two. Just know that I'm rooting for you guys."
"Thanks, Erica."
Not long after that, the game had finally started. Half of the lacrosse team was on the field while the other half was on the bench. One of the guys sitting out was Isaac. As he looked behind to see the amount of people on the bleachers, he spotted Delilah, who was laughing away with Erica. He never knew that the two girls have even talked before, but the way they were interacting made it seem like they had been friends for years. It made Isaac feel good to see Delilah with another peer who wasn't a jerk like her other friends. Even though Erica was also classified as an outcast due to her epilepsy, she seemed to be pretty down-to-earth, which Isaac thought fit very well with Delilah's personality.
At one point, Delilah had turned her head and saw Isaac looking at her. He smiled and waved to his… girlfriend? Was she his girlfriend? He hadn't forgotten when Delilah had told his dad that they were actually together. Their status wasn't something that they ever established. But that still wasn't going to hold Isaac back from asking Delilah to officially be his girlfriend after the game, which he had originally planned on doing. After giving him a shy wave back, Delilah blew Isaac a kiss, making him blush. Erica giggled beside the brunette when she watched the little exchange.
The game was very exciting to watch. Beacon Hills was definitely kicking the other school's ass and the crowd was super enthusiastic. Scott McCall was obviously the star of the game, which was unexpected in Delilah's opinion since he was always benched the previous year. But from what she could see, he had practiced since last year and the progress he made was evident. It was incredible to watch.
Isaac didn't play much throughout the night. Still, whenever Coach Finstock called on the blond to get on the field, Delilah made sure to cheer as loud as possible for him. And he wasn't so bad at lacrosse himself. He didn't stand out as much as Scott or Jackson Whittemore, but Delilah was still impressed by Isaac's skills.
Beacon Hills had won the game, making the crowd go wild at the end. Delilah and Erica hugged each other in joy and joined the rest of the crowd in excitement. As the ruckus died down a little, everyone started heading home. The two girls walked down the bleachers together.
"Do you need a ride home?" Delilah asked.
Erica shook her head. "No, it's alright. My house is only a few minutes away from here. I'll be fine." She then nudged Delilah with her elbow. "Besides, you should go talk to Isaac and get your whole situation sorted out."
"Yeah, you're right," Delilah sighed, "I'll see you on Monday, alright?"
"Sure thing," Erica smiled as she hugged her new friend, "And text me after you talk to Isaac!"
Delilah laughed. "Will do!"
After Erica walked away, Delilah headed over to the boys' locker room. She waited outside for only a few minutes until Isaac came out with his bag slung over his shoulder. He had changed into his regular clothes and his curly hair was now damp from the showers. It was messy but it made Delilah swoon. Isaac saw Delilah waiting for him and he grinned.
"Hey," he said, walking over to the brunette.
"Hey, yourself." She wrapped her arms around Isaac's torso and he leaned down to kiss her lips. "That was a hell of a game tonight. You were great out there."
"Thanks." He looked down at Delilah's customized sweater. "Nice shirt."
"Why, thank you," Delilah smiled, "I told you that I was serious about this. I gotta let people know who my favorite player on the team is."
Isaac laughed. "Well, I love it. And I'm so glad that you actually came tonight. It really means a lot to me that you're here."
"Of course. I wouldn't miss it. And I haven't been to a lacrosse game in a long time since no of my friends really wanted to go last year. But tonight was awesome! It kinda makes me wanna learn some moves now."
"Well let's make a deal," the blond started, "I'll teach you some stuff about lacrosse if you teach me some guard tricks. I know that's a little weird, but I think the things you do with the swords and guns are pretty cool. What do you think?"
Delilah poked Isaac's chest. "First of all, they're sabres and rifles. It doesn't bother me, but the other girls in guard will have your throats if they ever hear you call them 'swords and guns'."
"I'll keep that in mind."
"And second of all," Delilah continued, sticking her hand out, "you've got a deal."
The pair shook hands and laughed. When Isaac looked down at Delilah, he grew nervous. But it was now or never for him because he was pretty sure wouldn't want to make the first move. He sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck and set his bag down by the wall.
"Listen," he said, "I've been meaning to talk to you about something."
Now Delilah was feeling the butterflies in her stomach. "Oh, boy. Should I be worried?"
"I think if anyone should be worried right now, it's me," Isaac chuckled nervously, "But if I don't do this now, I probably never will."
Isaac took a couple of deep breaths and ran his hand through his damp hair. He made sure that his attention was completely focused on Delilah as he spoke.
"So we've told each other that we like each other, and I'm beyond ecstatic about that because I've had the biggest crush on you for as long as I can remember. And despite all of the things people say about me and me telling you about my life at home, you still bother to even give me the time of day. Your friends must give you a lot of shit for even talking to me and it makes me feel awful that they treat you like that. But the fact that you think I'm worth the trouble is unbelievable. I really do like you and care about you. So, Delilah… will you officially be my girlfriend?"
Delilah placed her hand over her frantically beating heart and giggled breathlessly. All of the nerves in her body had vanished as she took in every word Isaac had said to her. It had definitely took the pressure off of her.
"Oh, thank god!" she said, "You scared me there for a second! I thought you were gonna say that you wanted to stop seeing me. But this is a lot better than I expected."
His eyes widened. "So does that mean…"
"Yes," Delilah smiled, "Yes, of course I'll be you girlfriend."
Immediately, Isaac grinned like a fool and he let out a sigh of relief. Grabbing Delilah's hand, he pulled her closer to him. He then cupped her face and kissed her with as much passion he could give her. Delilah's arms went back around his lanky but toned torso as she responded to the kiss. Guys from the lacrosse team were exiting out of the locker room and noticed the new couple lip-locking as they walked by. They gave Isaac and Delilah weird looks when they rested their foreheads against each other and smiled goofily.
But they could honestly care less. Because all they could think about was each other and how happy they were to finally have some light in their dark world.
So there you have it, my lovely muchachos! PLEASE review and let me know what you think! I hope to get at least ten reviews! Also, send in some questions you have about either Scars, Awake and Alive, No One Else, and Nirvana so I can do a Q and A session after each chapter. I love to see your guys' responses! I'm still brainstorming what I want the next few chapters to be about before we get to the second season, which is where all of the real action begins so please be patient with me. There won't be a lot of chapters left until then so I don't think it'll take that long to figure it out.
*ANNOUNCEMENT!* In case you don't know already, I had recently started a new Derek love story called You Raise Me Up. It is NOT the DerekxOC that coincides with this story!
