I know that it's been a while since I last updated. I had lost my motivation for a bit but it's back again so here's chapter 6!

Almost a week had passed since Isaac and Delilah made things official between them. So far, they were really happy together. To be able to show affection towards each other freely in public was very relieving. Isaac was actually very nervous at first because he knew that Delilah's friends would find out about their relationship quickly. He was more worried about Delilah than himself- he didn't want them to give her a rough time. But the brunette just happily held his hand down the hallways at school and kisses him whenever she wanted to. She even suggested they eat lunch together outside from now on, despite her friends' protests.

It didn't take long for Lawrence to find out about the couple. When Delilah came home from the lacrosse game, she was so ecstatic that the first thing she did was tell her mom the news. Gloria was happy for her daughter. So happy that she told Lawrence. It was easy to say that he was not as thrilled as the women were. Delilah wasn't surprised when Lawrence whipped her with his belt and spat crude things at her. But it didn't change the way she felt about Isaac. After several years of fawning over him, Delilah was finally with him, and she was going to let her stepfather ruin that.

On Friday after school, Delilah was grabbing the books she needed for homework that night. When she shut her locker, Trenton was standing right there, leaning against the locker next to hers. Delilah shrieked and dropped her books.

"Seriously, why do you guys feel that it is necessary to sneak up on people like that?" she breathed out. She bent down to pick up her books.

"Where've you been this week?" Trenton asked, cutting right to the chase.

Delilah raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"You haven't been sitting with us at lunch," he pointed out, "We've been missing you."

"It's only been a few days, Trenton," the brunette said, "I'm sure you guys haven't missed me that much."

"Well you wouldn't know because you've been spending every fucking second with Lahey."

"Yeah, because he's my boyfriend and I want to spend time with him."

As she began to walk away, Trenton quickly caught up to her. He stopped in front of her, making her halt abruptly. Delilah refrained herself from rolling her eyes.

"Look, I know that you don't care for Isaac," Delilah said, "but I do. A lot. So I'd really appreciate it if you would just please cut him some slack, okay?"

"I don't even understand why you like him so much," Trenton retorted, crossing his arms, "especially since you could have any guy you want."

Delilah just stared up at her friend with a blank expression on her face.

The tall boy raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you actually don't know what I'm talking about." When Delilah continued to look at him, he let out an exasperated sigh. "D, look at you. You're hot. With a banging body like yours, guys would kill to go out with you."

Looking down at herself, the brunette frowned slightly. She had no idea that guys in school checked her out like that. A small part of her felt flattered. But overall, Delilah was disgusted. She didn't like the idea of having random guys drool all over her. For the most part, Delilah was pretty comfortable with her body and the way she looked. But she didn't want to be viewed as the girl with the 'banging body'. It was so demeaning. Luckily, she had Isaac who knew she was so much more than that.

"Well, if that's the case," Delilah said, adjusting the strap on her bag, "then I couldn't be any more grateful to have Isaac as my boyfriend."

With that, she walked away from Trenton. She heard her friend call after her but she ignored him. When she reached the boys' locker room, Isaac was walking out. He saw Delilah walking over to him so he met her halfway and kissed her. As he pulled away from her, he noticed the slightly distant look on her face.

"You okay?" Isaac asked her.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Delilah assured him, lacing her fingers with his and began heading towards the front doors.

Isaac looked behind him and saw Trenton glaring at the couple. "Are you sure about that?"

Looking in the same direction, Delilah nodded. "Yeah, it's just Trenton being ignorant. You know how he can be."

"What did he say?"

"He just made some stupid comment about how guys at this school are willing to date me because of my body."

Insecurity ran through Isaac's veins as he processed the information. The way Delilah said that was so nonchalant and it worried him.

"You don't think…" he said, "You don't think that's the reason I'm with you, do you?"

The brunette stopped walking and looked up at her boyfriend in amusement. "What? No, of course not." She snaked her arms around Isaac's waist. "If I thought that was the reason you asked me out, I wouldn't have said 'yes' in the first place."

He happily accepted that response. Cupping Delilah's face, he brought his lips down to hers. They continued to kiss in the middle of the school hallway with their peers walking around them. Many pairs of eyes were on them, but neither Isaac nor Delilah paid them any attention. He just pulled her closer to his body.

When their lips parted, Isaac had a huge goofy grin on his face. Delilah giggled.

"Why are you smiling like that?"

"I don't think I'll ever get tired of kissing you," Isaac sighed, stroking his girlfriend's cheek with his thumb.

Delilah blushed. "Well I hope not. Because I plan on doing this with you for a long time." She tangled her fingers through his curly hair. "A very long time."

"And I am perfectly okay with that." Isaac kissed her once more and took her hand in his. "Shall we go?"

"Yes, we shall."

They walked hand in hand to Delilah's car and she drove off to their neighborhood. Since both Gloria and Lawrence were at work, Delilah decided that she and Isaac could study in peace at her house. She parked in the driveway and then they went inside. It was obvious that someone had sprayed Febreeze in the living room because the strong artificial scent of oranges filled Isaac's nostrils. Delilah took his hand and led her upstairs to her room.

When they walked inside, Delilah flipped the light switch. Now Isaac could smell Delilah's natural scent much clearly, which was a lot like cinnamon. It was absolutely mouthwatering.

"Make yourself at home," Delilah told Isaac, tossing her bag on her bed, "Mi casa es su casa."

"I didn't know I landed myself a lovely Latina," Isaac smirked.

"I hate to disappoint you, babe, but I'm actually half German and half Swedish," Delilah said, "But now that I think about it, I may have a bit of Spanish in me from my mom's side of the family."

"Well, what do you know," Isaac said, sitting on the bed, "Aren't you a woman of many cultures? I'm a pretty lucky guy."

He grabbed Delilah's hand and pulled her onto his lap, making her squeal in surprise. She positioned herself so she was straddling him and ran her fingers through his curls. Isaac encircled his arms around her curvy waist as he lightly kissed her jaw.

"We should start our homework," Delilah said, patting Isaac's chest and climbing off of him.

Groaning, Isaac flopped on his back. "Do we really have to?"

"Yes," the dancer laughed, "You need to get your grade up in chemistry is you wanna remain on the lacrosse team. So get your book out and let's get started." She lightly smacked his knee.

"Fine," Isaac sighed, sitting up and grabbing his backpack, "You're lucky I like you so much."

"Aw, I like you too." Delilah gripped her boyfriend's chin and pecked his lips. She giggled at his dazed expression and then pulled out her own chemistry book.

During the next hour and a half, Delilah tutored Isaac in the most recent lesson they learned in chemistry. There were times before Isaac met Delilah when he had to have someone work with him because he had trouble in some subjects. Whenever he made a mistake or asked questions, his tutor would get frustrated with him and eventually give up. Isaac didn't learn a single thing from them and it even caused his grades to drop.

Instead of getting annoyed when Isaac didn't understand something, Delilah was patient and walked through every problem with him. She would just reassure that it was okay it he messed up and not to beat himself up over it. Plus, whenever they finally got through a problem together, Delilah would sneak in a little kiss as a reward so Isaac wasn't complaining.

Delilah looked over Isaac's solution to a particularly tricky problem and she beamed in pride. "It's right. Isaac, you got it right!"

"Are you serious?" Isaac asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah! That's awesome, Isaac." She ruffled his hair. "See? I told you that you could do it."

"Maybe you should teach the class instead of Harris," Isaac said, rolling onto his side to get a better look at his girlfriend, "You're hell of a lot better at it than he is. I swear, every time I'm in his class, I can just feel my brain start to melt."

The brunette giggled, raking her fingers through Isaac's hair. "I think you're exaggerating a bit too much, babe."

"I'm pretty sure if doctors took an x-ray of my brain, all they'll find is a big pile of mush."

"Then I guess it's a good thing you're cute." She pinched Isaac's cheek while he playfully glared at her. "Let's get back to work."

An idea popped into Isaac's head and he smirked. His hand inched slowly towards Delilah. "You know, we've been at this for almost two hours now. I think it's time we took a break."

"What are you- Ahh!"

She squealed as Isaac wrapped his arms around her and pinned her underneath him. He dug his fingers into her sides, making her laugh uncontrollably. As she writhed underneath Isaac, Delilah tried to push him off of her, but his grasp was too strong. She was cracking up so hard that tears started to come out.

"Stop it!" she cackled, "Isaac, you're n-not supposed to be g-getting me off track! This isn't fair!"

"Oh, but I think it is," Isaac taunted as he continued to tickle her. His smile brightened as her laughter filled the room.

"No!" she shrieked, "I call truce! I call truce!"

Finally decided to give in, Isaac stopped tickling his girlfriend, but remained on top of her. He balanced himself on his elbows so his body wasn't completely crushing Delilah's. Due to thrashing around from Isaac's attack, her brown hair had covered her face so Isaac pushed it back. Her chest rose as she tried to catch her breath, her breasts pressing against his chest. There were no words spoken between the two as they gazed at each other, taking in each other's appearance.

Breathtaking was the only word that Delilah could think of as she stared up at Isaac. How was it that none of the girls at school had thrown themselves at him? He was tall, blond, and had the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen. What more could a girl ask for? He was also a lacrosse player, which blessed Isaac with what the dancer considered the perfect body on a guy. The blond boy was fit and had muscle, but he wasn't the jacked-up bodybuilder type that her friends always drooled over. She loved that about him. Isaac was the most gorgeous person Delilah had ever laid eyes on.

As Delilah was deep in thought, she ran her hands up and down Isaac's biceps. He rested his forehead against hers.

"What are you thinking about?" Isaac asked softly.

"You," she answered, matching his volume, "I just don't understand why people can't understand the incredible things that I see in you."

Isaac chuckled and shook his head. "I'm not that great."

"I think you are." Delilah placed a hand on his cheek. "And I think that the people who tell you otherwise are idiots."

"How do you think I feel?" Isaac said, "What Trenton said is true, you know. Any guy at Beacon Hills High would be so lucky to call you their girl."

"Well let me tell you something. There is only one boy who is allowed to call me theirs. And that boy is you, Isaac Lahey."

Smiling down at his girlfriend, Isaac swiped his thumb across her bottom lip. Then he lowered his head down to kiss her. Delilah responded immediately, wrapping her arms around his body. Her hands gripped onto the back of his jacket as he continued to kiss her deeply. Isaac rubbed her hips softly, making her sigh. When he snaked his tongue in her mouth, couldn't help but moan. She swore his kisses got better and better every time. It was heaven.

The chemistry that Isaac accidentally kicked off the bed was long forgotten as the teenagers were too wrapped up in each other. At some point, Delilah's shirt had ridden up a bit over her belly button and Isaac's thumbs massaged the exposed skin. It drove the brunette crazy and she restrained herself from losing control. Her own hands slipped underneath Isaac's shirt so she could touch his smooth back as they continued to make out. Then all of a sudden they heard the front door shut and two people talking. Delilah's eyes widened.

"Shit, they're home!"

Delilah pushed Isaac off of her and she fixed herself so she looked presentable. As she did that, Isaac picked up the books from the floor and put them back on the bed. They made it so they looked like they were still studying when Gloria walked in the room.

"Oh! Hi," she said, taken aback when she saw Isaac.

"Hey, Mom," Delilah said. She gestured to her boyfriend. "Have you ever met Isaac before?"

"No, I don't think I have." Gloria shook his hand. "Hi, Isaac. I'm Delilah's mom, Gloria."

"It's nice to meet you, ma'am," Isaac said shyly.

"You too." She turned to her daughter. "I was planning on making chicken, rice, and some vegetables for dinner tonight. Is that alright?"

"Yeah, that sounds great," Delilah smiled.

Gloria looked over at Isaac. "Are you staying for dinner?"

Unsure of what to say, the blond boy looked at Delilah for an answer. She had a worried look on her face, like she really wanted Isaac to refuse her mother's offer. But Isaac wanted to keep a closer eye on her as much as he could now that Lawrence was home. So he nodded his head.

"Yeah, I think I'll stay. My dad's working tonight so I might as well."

"Great," Gloria smiled, "Well, I'll call you both down when dinner's ready."

As soon as Gloria left the room and shut the door behind her, Delilah let out a groan and tipped onto her back. She then placed her hands over her face.

"Why the hell did you say yes?"

"Did you really expect me to say no?" Isaac asked, raising an eyebrow.

Delilah looked up at him and grimaced. "Maybe…" She rolled her eyes when Isaac gave her a knowing look. "I just don't wanna sit through an awkward dinner with my stepdad interrogating my boyfriend to death."

"But the longer I'm here, the less he'll hurt you." He noticed the frown on Delilah's face and he lied down next to her. "You understand that I'm just trying to look out for you, right?"

"I know," Delilah said, "and I appreciate that. I really do. Also, if it gets you away from your dad, than I guess it's okay. But I'm warning you now that Lawrence can be very crude when he wants to be. Which is pretty much all the time."

"I'll think I'll be able to handle that," Isaac assured her, "Besides, you've met my dad. You know he's not the most considerate man ever."

Sighing, Delilah rested her hand on Isaac's chest and laid an arm across his stomach. "Okay, but don't be surprised when I say 'I told you so'."

Isaac chuckled and then kissed the top of her head. "Whatever you say." His eyes averted to a large glass case full of trophies, pictures, and other memorabilia from dance or color guard. "Whoa… How many trophies are in there?"

"I'm not sure… I think at least twenty-five. There might be a bit more."

With wide eyes, Isaac got up to go stand in front of the case. Most of the awards inside had said '1st Place', which really impressed him. Then again, he wasn't all that surprised. He knew firsthand that Delilah was very talented. "You're quite the achiever."

"I guess," Delilah shrugged, "But I pretty much work my ass off to make sure I perform to the rest of my ability. I'd like to say that hard work pays off."

"Yeah, it clearly shows." He pointed to the biggest trophy. "What is this one for?"

Delilah got up and stood next to her boyfriend. "That was from one of last year's competitions. I won Miss Teen Dance. I got a scholarship and won a trip to New York to learn from some of the top dance instructors."

"How many other girls were in your division?"

"Umm… at least hundred, I think."

A low whistle escaped Isaac's mouth. "Damn…" Then he noticed a picture of Delilah when she was probably around five years old. She had show makeup on and was wearing a pink frilly tutu. Her big smile showed off her missing two front teeth. On the top of her perfectly styled hair was a tiara, making Isaac smile. He pointed to the photo. "I think that's my new favorite picture of you. You look so adorable in this."

"Oh my gosh," Delilah chuckled, "That was my very first dance recital. I remember being so excited to perform but once I got onstage I completely froze. Everything in my head just vanished. It was so embarrassing."

"I would've loved to see that," Isaac laughed.

"Good thing my mom didn't record it then. But I have a bunch of other tapes of my other shows over the years."

"Next time I come over to your house, we are definitely watching those videos."

"If you can even find them. I hid them so no one could. It's so awkward to watch myself dance."

Wrapping his arms around her waist, Isaac pulled the brunette closer to him. "Oh, believe me. I'll find them. There's no way I'm missing out on watching you dance as a little kid."

Delilah rolled her eyes but smiled before kissing Isaac. "Come on. We're almost done with our homework." When Isaac groaned, she poked his chest. "No complaining. We've had a long enough break because of you." Isaac sighed in defeat as he let Delilah drag him back to her bed.

By the time the couple had finished their work, Gloria called them out for dinner. Isaac followed Delilah down the stairs and into the kitchen where Gloria had just finished setting the plates up on the table. She smiled at the pair and told them to sit wherever they wanted. Isaac sat next to him. Just then, Lawrence came in wearing a white wife-beater and a worn out pair of jeans. Isaac's palms immediately grew clammy when the man laid eyes on him.

"Well, well, well," Lawrence smirked, "How nice of you to join us, kid."

"Y-yeah," Isaac stuttered slightly, "I was supposed to be home by myself tonight since my dad's working late."

"That's right," Lawrence said, sitting at the other end of the table, "I forgot that your father worked at the cemetery. Tell me, does me make good money off of that?"

"Umm… well, we get by alright."

Lawrence nodded, staring at Isaac intensely. The boy swallowed down the lump in his throat as Lawrence cut a piece of chicken and shoved it in his mouth. Underneath the table, Isaac felt Delilah place her hand on his thigh. He looked up at her and she sent him a small smile that eased his nerves. He squeezed her hand in appreciation before digging into his food.

Dinner was uncomfortable. Way to uncomfortable than the dinners Isaac's had with his father. And trust him when he says that those are as uncomfortable as they could be. They usually didn't talk during their meal. It wasn't until after they ate shit would hit the fan and it would always end with another broken glass and another bruise.

But what Isaac wasn't used to, however, was having someone watching him the whole time he ate. Every time he looked up from his plate, Lawrence was glaring at the boy with his cold and dark eyes. It was like he was staring straight through Isaac's soul and it was very nerve-wracking. Delilah couldn't tolerate the silence anymore so she decided to finally speak up.

"So," she said, "did I tell you guys that Isaac's team won the lacrosse game last week?"

"Oh, really?" Gloria said with genuine interest, "That's great! Is this your first year playing lacrosse, Isaac?"

"No, I was on the team last year also," Isaac answered more confidently this time. Thank god that Gloria was somewhat easier to talk to. "But I didn't really play much then. I think I only played two or three games."

"So you're not that good then," Lawrence stated.

The blunt comment threw Isaac off a bit. He wasn't expecting Delilah's father to be that rude to him. Delilah immediately jumped in when Isaac started stuttering.

"I thought that Isaac was great actually," she said, "Although he didn't play the entire game, he made some pretty good moves." She smiled proudly at her boyfriend. "I was really impressed." Isaac smiled back at Delilah and squeezed her hand once again.

However, Lawrence wasn't so amused. "Uh huh. And how exactly did you two start talking? Not once have I ever seen you two interact with each other before. This was pretty fucking random."

"Well, Delilah and I were paired up as lab partners in chemistry on the first day back from break," Isaac explained, "And then later that day, we had a bit of a collision in the cafeteria."

"I ended up knocking his lunch all over him," Delilah recalled in embarrassment, "I felt so bad!"

"I kept assuring her that it wasn't her fault, but she insisted on making it up to me. So I asked her out on a date, she said yes and…" Isaac paused as he began to blush, "well a week later, we became official."

"You sure don't think you're moving too fast, do you?" Lawrence pointed out before taking a bite of his food.

The teenage couple glanced at each other. Delilah shrugged her shoulders. "I mean, yeah, we may have gotten together sooner than most people do. But I guess we just both thought that it felt right. We've both really liked each other for a long time. So now was as good of a time as any."

"Also," Isaac added, "when you know, you know. If that makes any sense…"

"I understand," Gloria nodded, "You two have been neighbors almost your whole lives. I'm actually surprised that you haven't started talking to each other sooner."

"Me too," Delilah said. Then she looked at Isaac fondly as he did the same. "But you know what they say. Better late than never, I guess." Isaac rubbed his thumb over the back of his hand.

He took another bite of his dinner. "This chicken is really delicious, Mrs. Porter," he complimented.

"Thank you, Isaac," Gloria smiled, "I usually have late shifts at the restaurant Romero's so I hardly have time to cook at home. But I'm glad that you enjoy it. Does your father cook dinner for you two?"

Isaac rubbed the back of his neck. "Umm, no, not really. One of us will end up having to take the late night shift at the cemetery so we each have to worry about our own food."

"Oh, that's a shame," Gloria said, "Well in that case, whenever you're home alone and your father is at work, you're always welcome here for dinner."

Nodding his head in thanks, Isaac continued to eat. He felt Lawrence's stare burning into his head, which was very intimidating. It was clear the man was not thrilled with his wife's offer to the boy.

"Since you both clearly don't have a problem with taking things fast," Lawrence said, "you've probably already fucked, haven't you?"

Both teenagers were taken aback, especially Isaac. A piece of chicken he had swallowed went down the wrong pipe when he heard what Lawrence said. His blue eyes widened as he coughed roughly. Delilah patted his back to try to help him relax and then she looked at Lawrence in disbelief. The man, however, looked completely unfazed.

"Lawrence, seriously?!" she shrieked.

"How the hell am I supposed to know?" Lawrence said, "You know how teenage boys are. All they want is a piece of ass."

"I really don't think that our private lives are your concern though," Delilah told him. As soon as she said it, she knew that she was going to be in big trouble later.

"When you're living under my roof, it sure as hell is my concern," Lawrence scolded.

After Isaac took a drink of his water, he had finally settled down from his coughing fit. His face was now returning to its normal color. Then he wiped the corner of his eyes before looking at Lawrence.

"Sir," Isaac said but then paused when Delilah's stepfather glared at him, "I mean, Lawrence. I promise you that Delilah and I have not had sex. And that's not the reason I'm with her if that's what you're thinking. I really care about Delilah, and I would never use her like that. She's very important to me and way too special to be taken advantage of like that."

While Delilah was in awe from Isaac's honest yet sweet words, she was still anxious to hear what Lawrence was going to say next. For a while, he was actually pretty silent. It actually made Isaac feel sort of nauseous. No wonder why Delilah was so scared of him. With his black eyes, strong features, and tattooed covered body, Lawrence looked ready to murder somebody. Isaac couldn't figure out which terrified him more, Lawrence himself or the fact that Delilah lived with him and was beaten by him whenever he wanted to.

Finally after a long silence, Lawrence shook his head and picked at his vegetables. "Whatever. But trust me, I'll know when you pull stupid shit."

"I understand," Isaac responded softly, looking down at his plate.

The rest of the dinner was filled with that same awkward silence. Luckily it ended a lot faster than Isaac expected. After they finished, he offered to wash the dishes and put them away, but Gloria flat out refused, saying that Isaac was a guest and shouldn't do the dishes. He insisted on doing them but Gloria simply wouldn't let him. Coming to the conclusion that he just had to take no for an answer, Isaac stopped asking.

He then finally decided that he should probably go home. Mostly because he couldn't stand the tense atmosphere in house. After bidding his goodbyes to Gloria and Lawrence- who just responded with a curt nod- Delilah walked him out of the house. She shut the door behind her and looked at Isaac with a grimace on her face.

"That was awful," she said.

"It could've been a lot worse," Isaac told her.

Delilah scoffed. "I highly doubt that. I swear I thought that Lawrence was going to reach across the table to strangle you." She then groaned and placed her face in her hands. "Oh my god, he thinks we're having sex. Oh, damn it!"

Chuckling, Isaac wrapped his arms around her shoulders and hers encircled his waist. He rested his chin on the top of her head. "Delilah, it's okay. This isn't the first time I've had someone not like me. I can handle some inappropriate comments from your stepdad."

"Ugh…" The brunette tightened her hold on her boyfriend as she sighed. "The fact that you can say that sucks."

"I know, baby," Isaac mumbled in her hair, "I know. But that's just the way it is."

"It doesn't have to be, though."

She didn't have to explain to Isaac what she meant. He slightly pulled back so he could look down at her. He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "You know why I can't do that, Delilah."

"I know," Delilah said, "That doesn't make it suck any less."

Crooking his finger underneath Delilah's chin, he tilted her chin up so she could look at him. Then Isaac leaned in to place a tender kiss on her lips.

"Don't worry about it," he told her, "Everything happens for a reason."

"Do you really believe that?"

She looked at her boyfriend with so innocence that it made Isaac's confidence falter slightly. Honestly, he wasn't so sure if he believed himself. "I don't know. But maybe somewhere along the road, there's a silver lining. For the both of us."

"We can only hope, I guess…"

Isaac looked over at his house and saw his dad's car parked in the driveway. "I should probably go now."

She turned her head to see what Isaac was looking at. Even though Delilah should let him go home, she didn't want him to leave. The thought of Isaac facing his dad made her frown and clutch onto the back of his jacket. Isaac noticed her tense up so he kissed her temple.

"Believe me, I don't want to leave you either," he told her, "But if I don't leave now, it's only gonna get worse later."

Hesitantly, Delilah nodded her head. "Okay."

After kissing her once more, Isaac looked straight into Delilah's green eyes. "Be careful tonight," he said seriously.

She nodded again. "You too."

He squeezed her hand before stepping off the porch and walking to his house. Delilah watched him the whole time and when Isaac turned back to look at her, she gave him a small wave and even a smaller smile. After returning the gesture, Isaac went inside his house.

But Delilah stayed outside just a bit longer to gaze up at the stars. It was a beautiful sight, barely enough to make the dancer crack a smile. She wasn't out there for long when she heard Lawrence yell for her to come back inside to receive whatever punishment he had in store for her. With a sad sigh, Delilah hugged her arms around her stomach and went back into her house.

I hope you guys enjoyed it! I know it was a little weak and I apologize, but I just really wanted to get something out for you guys. PLEASE review and let me know what you think! Also, leave any questions you have for this story or any of my other ones.

So I know that I'm really bad at updating and take a long time. I apologize for that but I've been very overwhelmed with college and trying to transfer to another school, but I really am trying for you guys because I love writing and I want you all to enjoy what I write. But it's hard to be motivated when I don't get a lot of feedback. The amount of reviews I have been getting lately for Awake and Alive, Scars, and You Raise Me Up have been decreasing every time I update. It makes me think that you guys aren't enjoying my stories anymore and it's discouraging. I hate to be that person who begs for reviews, but I would really appreciate some feedback to help me update faster and get more motivated. So PLEASE leave me some reviews for my stories if you want more of my stories. And to those who do leave feedback, thank you SO much for your love and support! It really does mean a lot to me.

I hope to update soon! xoxo, Maddie :)
