The Path To Greatness

Naruto Uzumaki was your average shinobi the only differences were that he had more charka than most shinobi in his village put together and the villagers loathed his guts because of that Blond imbecile that was the Fourth Hokage and to this day Naruto couldn't fathom JUST why he would seal a demon in his gut,now you would think that the villagers would be grateful to him for holding the great demon at bay but no they just had to act like morons and treat him like shit.

Then there was the Third Hokage an old war veteran that lied to his face each time he asked about his parents or why the villagers loath him so much but Naruto was ninety percent sure that he let all this crap happen to him so he that he would strive for their acknowledgement and be a loyal attack dog.

He tried to instill the dream of being Hokage in him but Naruto just wanted to laugh his ass off but for the sake of keeping up the ruse of stupidity,he pretended to be interested in the old monkey's speech about the 'Will Of Fire'.The instructors in the academy held him back because "they didn't want the demon getting stronger",also under Hiruzen's nose.

He was willing to bet his left testicle that they were doing this because of the higher met Danzo the mummy,it was amusing how he tried to bait him with the promise of more power but Naruto was smarter than that!He knew that prude wanted a personal attack dog so he screamed pedophile as loud as he could and the look on Danzo's usual stoic face was funny as hell.

Hiruzen was also on his shit list because if he kept his mouth shut about the Nine Tails,Naruto wouldn't have to put up with all this crap and the villagers wouldn't still be jerking off to the thought of Naruto's only the monkey decided to keep quite and honestly speaking Naruto preferred Iruka hating his guts rather than him trying to be his friend.

The Chunin Exams were entering the second phase and like always he was ditched by his so called teacher,this just proved that he couldn't rely on anyone from this shithole and needed to rely on himself like has being doing it since his would want to train the "Demon brat" so he was on his own,so many aspects to work on like his charka control,lack of ninjutsu,taijutsu(for now he would stick to brawling it made him unpredictable),his chakra reserves made him extremely receptive to genjutsu that it wasn't even funny and he was pretty sure it would take a long ass time to properly control his charka just to cast basic ninjutsu and genjutsu was out of the question.

Thank god the Shadow Clone Jutsu came complete with a memory transfer or else he might end up like that old fart,Hiruzen before he could properly use his charkra to cast any jutsu.

For now he would just need to learn to dispel and recognize if he was trapped in a genjutsu,he also had to work on his body because there was no way that was he gonna keep looking like a wet would prove to be an interesting month,he had his work cut out for him and his opponent Neji Hyuuga only used taijutsu and an pretty advanced one at that,just one hit would temporarily close his charka coils,he either had to find a way to protect his coils or just be faster than Neji and he was betting on the former.

There was one advantage he had over Neji and it was lame but knowledge was Hyuugas and their pride,couldn't they see that they were severely weakening themselves,pride wasn't armor or even strength for that intended to beat that into Neji in front of everyone because a little humidity would do the boy some good and remove that pole stuck in his new clothes were needed drastically but he won't find any in the village.

"Oh well!One clan's stupidity was another man's gain!This is the shinobi world,where you had to do anything to win if you want honor go and join a samurai club somewhere!" Naruto thought with a smirk and laughed.

The Hyuugas weren't as strong as they thought they were and were closer to a civil war because of their arrogance,seriously dividing themselves was a pretty stupid move.

Now Naruto was smart despite dressing like a moron and even if it wasn't by choice because that orange jumpsuit was the only thing the villagers would sell to him.

"Probably to get me killed sooner rather than later." he thought with a sigh.

Telling everyone that he would become hokage and it amused him that some people actually believed him(Just the thought of being Hokage made him want to vomit after seeing what Hiruzen did all freaking DAY!)and the power of friendship,what was this the academy?.Being naive was out of the question,being a ninja meant throwing everything out the window because one mistake could cost you dearly.

He knew being a ninja wasn't all fun and games because they were more or less contract killers,assassins and tools for their leader and it was worse for him because he was a jinchuriki.A thought hit him at a young age of seven,if people respected and feared the Hokage for his/her strength then the only thing that truly mattered was power and he needed a lot of it because you never know what life might throw at you.

The Nine Tails attack proved that because no one expected it,simply being strong won't cut it,he needed to become the strongest and lucky for him,he had the strongest demon inside of him,it was finally time to pay his "tenant" a visit.

Naruto's Mindscape

"A sewer? This is what my mind is made up of?...This really puts a new meaning to a phrase a head full of water." Naruto thought dryly because he expected something different and now he had to add mental fortitude to the list.

"This way,come to me..."a faint voice grumbled and if that wasn't bad enough he could feel the power rolling off those four words alone.

"A voice inside my head...Just perfect,this better be some kind of inside joke"Naruto thought and looked around,spotted pipes along the walls and now that you mention it,it looked like he was in a narrow corridor and the pipes were the only light source.

"Hell no!I am not becoming a cliche campfire horror story!" He said with a sweat drop and turned around.
Before he could take a step,something weakly pulled him groaned because he was becoming curious and turned back,the pipes had to end somewhere.

Following the pipes which were glowing a mixture of blue and crimson for some reason,he reached out to touch the pipes and the crimson chakra burned like hell,he could feel the heat coming from it but the blue was cool to the touch like a cool breeze and he knew the blue chakra was his and it was circulating through his so did the crimson chakra and the pipes all led straight down the narrow corridor.

"How convenient!A one way trip" he thought and before long the pipes led him to the bars of a cage and at the center of them was a paper with a strange symbol drawn on the bars were Huge,almost sky scrapper level.

"Talk about a total lock down!" He thought drly heck he couldn't even see inside of the cage because it was darker than Kabuto's sex life and that was somewhat true after all Orochimaru's lackeys were fucked up in more ways than one.

"PIZZA DELIVERY!Yo!Open The Fuck Up!" Naruto screamed and since there was no door he hit the bars of the cage,the sound echoed through the cage and began to tap his foot impatiently when he got no response.

"Jeez!Some beings just don't have respect" He thought with a sigh and looked at his wrist,he really needed a watch because he couldn't pull of the impatient look with out it.

All the meditating and inner peace shit he had to do just to get down here and there was nothing man...what a letdown!After several minutes of complete silence,he was just about to turn around and leave when a gust of wind hit his entire body the water in front of the cage rushed forward like a mini tsunami and he already knew the cause of the mini whirlwind because it sounded like a giant exhale.

"Why the Fuck!Would you do that for and for gods sake!Pop a breath mint will you!Your breath stinks just as bad as Lee's fashion sense!" He screamed and found himself staring at a pair of glowing crimson eyes and they weren't as huge as he imagined they would be.

A force hit him and caused him to kneel,it felt like he had a mountain on his shoulders,no it was worse,his heart felt like it was about to explode and it hurt like hell but he refused to show any weakness and he tried to move but his body wouldn't budge.

"Orochimaru doesn't hold a candle to this!"He thought sweating and panting.

It was like staring at death in the face,he could feel the menace and bloodlust rolling off in waves from those eyes alone but he could also see a glint of the latter was unexpected but when she took a step into the light,he was ready to call everything he knew bullshit.

A seven feet tall ,tan woman,wearing a crimson kimono that managed to be both modest but provocative at the same time. Her face looked almost angelic quite entrancing actually despite the predatory features,damn those teeth looked like they could chew through diamonds,Naruto pitied the guy who got the pleasure of blowjob from her and grabbed his crouch action out of instinct.

That just made her raise a eyebrow and so he continued his exploration south,it didn't help that her kimono gave an good amount of cleavage which were pretty nice in his was tempted to make an imitation of a motor boat and just get in between those mounds,all in all a perfect woman,a hourglass figure,nice ass not too small but not too big either and firm to boot(he needed to get his hands on there for...proof),long legs that Naruto feared that he lost track of time by just staring at them.

"Damned teenage hormones" He thought and was glad that he wasn't sporting a boner,that would have been hard to explain or not.

"Ten out of ten!" He said with a cheesy smile and holding two thumbs up as the pressure vanished like it was never there.

"Why thank you my dear meat bag,I must say you rather are a strange one" Kiyomi said with an amused voice sounded like the melody,quite pleasing actually and he sweat dropped at the meat bag comment.

Kiyomi was intrigued because she blasted him with enough Killer Intent to cause a grown man's heart to explode several times over and yet,he was still standing and didn't reek of boy had more balls than most men thrice his age,she wanted to laugh because this was the only a one human who didn't fear her and even her father feared her because despite his intentions she still represented a primordial deity's rage.

She could already see that he would be a great deal of amusement after all being immortal was nice and all but it was boring as fuck most of the time and it was rare to find something more or less someone that interested her.

"Strange is necessary and you only live once after all!Soooo your the nine tailed fox?" Naruto replied with a strained expression,of course he got distracted and missed the nine crimson tails waving behind her but in his defense those melons were the really distracting!

"Heyoo!Worth it"He thought

Now saying that Kiyomi was surprised would be stretch,it would take a lot more than human who wasn't pissing his pants or staring at her like a drooling idiot although he was impressive considering the rest of his was proving to be different from rest of his species which was full of morons,some did have good motives like Hashirama but he was too naive and optimistic for her taste,he reminded her of her father.

She really didn't need an idiot claiming that they would change the world or bring peace to it,peace was boring because it meant less far mayhem as far as Kiyomi was concerned peace wasn't impossible just futile,it would last a few generations and that was being will find a reason no matter how stupid to kill or hate each other after all it's in their nature to seek way to fight each other and the way they treated this one was just proving her point.

"Yes!It is I,Queen of the Demons,behold my magnificence!" She announced although she wasn't arrogant enough to assume that she was untouchable that moron Hashirama defeated her by using fucking plants of all things!That waste of space Madara enslaved her with his pink eye,she understood his pain but it was time to fucking man up and move on although it wasn't the first time she saw an emotionally distraught Uchiha fly off the handle when the Senju was involved the Uchiha seemed to lose a few screws.

It seemed that that gene was genetic to the extreme.

"Nice to see your humble enough to just look at me" He answered with a sweat drop,great!Now he had to deal with another arrogant monarch and this one was different because she could crush him with her pinky finger alone and use his spleen as a tooth pick.

"Of course consider yourself lucky to even see me in this form,monkey."Kiyomi answered arrogantly because she never took her human form but this was a special occasion.

It was harder to imitate something she wasn't used to and it took a while but she could do it without destroying everything in sight and it was hard to compress your power to a smaller didn't help that she also had a natural dislike for humans because most of those foolish monkeys thought her kind as was No Ones Attack Dog!

She failed to understand what her father saw in them and wanted to hit her head against a wall when he taught them how to use chakra because he just gave them a new method to kill each other but she didn't bother trying to understand because she wasn't her father,she would do whatever the fuck she wanted!

"Man!Why can't I just meet someone who doesn't have a pole stuck in their ass?" He thought desperately and didn't help thanks to his family tree he was practically royalty but he didn't know that yet.

"Anyway,let's cut to the chase,you already know why I'm here but by some miracle you don't know...I need your help and knowing have a solution to my problem,I need a place to train away from prying eyes but I know you won't do this for free,so name your price and oh!My soul is off limits lady."Naruto said stoically

There was no way in hell that he was going to train in the Hidden Leaf because he knew that they won't allow him to become stronger because if he was stronger than how were they going to control knew that he was being watched by the Anbu,Danzo's tools and Hiruzen crystal ball and those were too many prying eyes already. Despite popular belief he didn't like ramen only ate it because it was the only thing within his budget and it was the only food he got without a getting any shit.

That piece of shit the Third called an apartment didn't even have proper furniture and he had to get creative in hiding his shit and suspected the villagers would ransack the place at any given chance they got and they did regularly in couldn't find anything much to their ire because they wanted to make his life even more miserable.

"A deal with me?My aren't you determined but do not despair I will assist you...For a favor that I can call in at anytime and you will fulfill it!No matter what,Mortal!..So do we have an accord?" Kiyomi all but grinned at him and extended her hand.

Naruto wasn't stupid if he agreed he would be giving her something irreplaceable,a fucking promise and if he didn't he would remain a weakling in a shit hole and so the choice was obvious and offers like this came fake ninja way was coming to bite him in the ass,oh the irony!

"Grab life by the boobs!" he thought even if it meant owing a vixen a favor and extended his right hand.

"Alright,that is acceptable."Naruto agreed with a smirk and grabbed her hand before he could begin the evil villain cliche laugh,his hand itched and then pain,mind numbing,agonizing felt like he was bathing his hand in acid and then lava,it really hurt like a bitch.

"No Pain...No Gain"He thought and grit his teeth,he really needed to find the people who came up with these phrases and slap the shit out of thought that he heard the Nine Tails moan but banished the thought.

"She can't be a sadist...can she?" He thought but who was he kidding.

"I hope your done grovelling because that was just a tease!You little Baby" Kiyomi said with a pleased expression.

"She got off seeing me in pain...Why am I surprised,wait,she said that this wasn't over yet." He thought with a wince

Shi-!

Then it began all over again only this time on a greater scale because his body exploded with pain and it was way worse than he originally thought that it would pain was so intense that it took all his willpower to just stay conscious after a while the pain vanished and he gasped for air and missed Kiyomi's menacing right hand felt strange so he looked at it and his eyes widened because his arm was inside a black gauntlet and for some reason it felt like it wasn't there at all.

From what he knew about the legends of Kiyomi,this was probably her insurance policy so he wasn't gonna ask about the shit on his flexed his fingers and noted that it didn't feel different at all ,whatever this thing was made out off(Most likely chakra)it was very comfortable.

"That's the key to opening the gate to my palace and you are going to need it!Your new training ground awaits! Just use my chakra to activate it and instant transportation or you could kill yourself instantly trying." Kiyomi answered with a smile because her power was chaotic by nature and it wouldn't be the first time something back fired horribly because someone tried to use her power.

She still remembered those idiots from Kumo that tried to eat her flesh only to die painfully because their organs melted but she had to give them credit because that was an new tactic.

"That's it?But I have one question why did you attack the Hidden Leaf because our brief conversation tells me that you will only act if it benefits you." Naruto stated ignoring the instant death side effect because it didn't matter and knew that she was joking but her expression didn't fill him with confidence.

"Quite perceptive of you monkey.I didn't do it because I wanted to but I was forced by a man whose called Madara Uchiha with those cursed eyes of his." Kiyomi growled darkly,her angry visage enhancing the image and noticed her tails stood ramrod straight in response to her anger.

"Madara Uchiha?Isn't he supposed to be dead and why the fuck would he use you to attack the Leaf village?More importantly why would he attack the Leaf?" Naruto asked with disbelief and found it strange a man who should be over a hundred years old would hold a grudge that long.

"You don't know a lot about the Uchiha clan do you?Besides the fact most of them act like spoiled brats when things don't go their way and that they are very sore losers and that fool Madara was the prime example of this but that was not surprising considering his ancestor." Kiyomi stated with a smirk and took a deep breath to explain her origins and how humans came wield chakra.

"The short version of if you please." Naruto quickly replied because he wasn't in the mood to listen to the Uchiha clan's life story,he doubted he had the time or patience for saw the woman was preparing to rant plus from what he heard so far the Uchihas already sounded like whiny bitches and he really,really hated History lessons.

"Way to take the fun out of everything"she answered with a pout "The Sage of Six Paths,had two sons,who believed in different ideals for believed in love and the other strength,the sage chose the one who believed in love and this angered the other son so much that he wanted to kill his own brother and both created clans which you know as the Senju and Uchiha clan and they have been fighting ever since Uchihas inherited the Sage's eyes and the Senju his body,the Uchiha's named this doujutsu the Sharingan and it allows them to see their opponents chakra network but not with great detail like the Byakugan can, it also gives them the ability to predict their opponents movement or copy their Ninjutsu,Genjutsu or Taijutsu in great if not better doujutsu can be unlocked if the Uchiha is placed under a great deal of emotional strain or placed in a life or death situation,it has three stages which can be seen with the amount of tamoe in the Uchiha's eyes,it's final form is called the Mangekyou Sharingan.I know it can be archived through training or by killing someone you hold dear but each time they use it they lose a bit of their sight leading to total blindness but this can be avoided if they replace their eyes with those of a probably wondering how I know so much about the Uchihas,those arrogant imbeciles tend to explain their strength in great detail and Madara was no execption." Kiyomi summarized drly

Naruto wasn't surprised he expected the with great power comes great sacrifice line to kick in but then it made sense why the villagers were sucking Sasuke's dick so hard because he had a pair of magic eyeballs which explains why he had such an ego,his eyes made him feel special.

"Aww!The little baby!That also explains why Orochimaru wanted to molest him so badly."He thought and snickered.

Basically the Hidden Village Leaf valued bloodlines over skill,he wanted to slap himself for ever thinking that they would develop brains and really needed to find a way to negate all doujutsu because they were becoming more of a problem lately and thanks to Orichimaru,the pedoph-I mean Snake Sage had given him the perfect solution by hitting him with the Five Pronged Seal,fuinjutsu itself.

Well Naruto had one question that bothered him the most,he could get murdered but that didn't matter,he needed to hear this.

"When was the last time you got laid?You have to find another way to unwind besides killing,you know!" Naruto asked with the most serious expression he could muster because he knew that having a pole up your ass would only do so much.

He tried to imagine it inside Danzo's ass and had to bite his tongue hard,to prevent himself from laughing his ass off but then several more people came to mind and his face turned red from restraining himself.

Kiyomi raised an eyebrow and smirked,yes,this human was indeed proving to be interesting,she would go as far as to say that he was shaping up to being the best host she ever had because all of them were completely anal when it came to her and thought that she was a mindless was a beast most of the time but never mindless.
Not the same could be said about Shukaku though.

"While I am flattered,your a bit too young for my taste and I doubt you will be properly equipped to handle me" She answered with a smug look and laughed at his down ridden expression.

"I will admit that I walked right into that one" Naruto thought as he face faulted and sighed.

"As pleasant as this was I have things to doubt before that I never got your name but mines Naruto,it was nice meeting you!" Naruto said with a smile he could feel that this friendship would be beneficial to say the least.

"You have proven yourself worthy of knowing mine!Consider yourself lucky,you will be the second human to know my name!It's Kiyomi and don't forget it monkey!It's always nice to meet me isn't it?" She answered smugly,he was the first human to even bother to ask for name,the gesture almost made her truly smile,almost.

"Yeah whatever!Later!" Naruto answered with a sweat drop as he vanished from his psyche because he had things to do.

"An interesting human indeed"Kiyomi thought as she vanished into the darkness and went to doing something she did in her spare time...Messing around with his DNA and he would be a interesting specimen in a few years and only the best would do for her.

"I wonder how he would react if I tell him that I am the reason his parents died?It would be amusing no doubt and he has proven himself quite unpredictable." She thought with an amused expression and focused on the task at hand.
