This is the second installment of Tales of Guardians : Kuvira's Redemption. The Prologue itself will divided into the first three chapters to explained the Alliance of Unified Guardians arrival on the World of Avatar and their process to gained the alliance with Order of the White Lotus. Also there are a bit change in the date.

A Prologue, Part Two : Arrival

"So, we are going to land on the planet, search for their secret organization and contact them ?" asked Nilo who sat on shuttle's cockpit with Vort besides her, "sounds easy to me." She finished.

"Knowing a secret organization and society like that, it's not sound that easy to me, you know ?" Vort said with a shrug. "Hey Silver, is everything is ready back there ?" asked Vort to the people in the ship's cargo compartment.

After receiving order from Admiral Ka Trell, the troops began to assembled their survey teams. Some teams had a scientist or Jedi consular for the matter. But Nilo and Vort are in one team with two additional members, a BARC trooper named Silver and an ARC trooper named Shift. Both soldier is a special operation trooper with exceptional skills, one of 21st finest members. Now they were preparing their supplies and equipment for the survey. Some of the equipment is BARC speeders, logistics & supplies, and scientific & research gear.

"Everything looks good here, sir, we are ready to go!" Silver replied to his commanding officer with a thumbs up.

"Alright," said Vort, then he went to the comlink in the cockpit. "Admiral Trell, this is Zulu-7, we are ready to depart," said Vort to the comlink.

"Zulu-7, this is admiral Ka Trell, you are clear to depart, good luck, and may the force be with you," said Admiral Trell from the other side of the comlink.

Hearing the reply from the admiral, Vort nodded to his pilot. "Alright Nilo, let's fly," said Vort to Nilo who now acted as a pilot for the team. Even though all the members of the team could piloted a ship, Nilo is one of their best pilot, not only in the team, but also in the entire Battlegroup.

"Okay! Buckled up, boys! Hang out, back there!" shouted Nilo to the people back in the cargo, although she heard murmurs from behind about a crazy Jedi pilot. She pulled the lever and pushed it, made the ship floated for a moment and flew away from the hangar to the planet surface. When they were out of the hangar, they can saw other similar ships had followed them to the planet surface with the same purpose, learning everything about the planet.

"Well, that's certainly went well for us, no ones get burned in the atmosphere and most of all, the ship still in one piece," said Silver sarcastically, even though he had a grin in his face. Ever experienced with Nilo's flight skills made him a little bit pumped in both excitement and fear.

After entering the planet's atmosphere, they took a several fly laps for searched a good place to landed the ship and began their search. Most of survey teams tasked or assigned to gathered social & culture condition, political information, or society system, Zulu-7 – the team's codename – along with Zulu-8, 9, and 10 were tasked to located and contacted with the world's secret organization or guardians.

While the rest of the team talking to each other, Vort however, spotted a desired place to landed, as well spotted a city, a well populated city nearby. The landing place is a valley within a mountain range, in the middle of the valley itself is a glacial river with rocks of various sizes along it and grass floor and pine trees on both side of the river. Several wild animals can be seen hid under the shades of trees and bushes. Rocks and stones provided a natural barrier and protections in the river side alongside gentle breeze winds created calm atmosphere under the dense of pine leaves, covering the ground from the heat of the sun. That place looks comfortable and an ideal place to make a camp.

Then his attention back to his subordinates, sighed while watched Nilo and Silver once again glared at each other's eyes with face only inches from each other. Right now Shift was the one who fly the ship, while he also glanced at the two, inwardly swore he saw lighting appeared between their faces. Having enough is enough, Vort cleared his throat loudly, loud enough to gained attention from all his partners and lowered the tension between the padawan dan BARC trooper.

"Alright, lads, enough with the bickering, why not try to look at your ten o'clock ?" said Vort facing while he pointed his finger to the said direction. The other three looked at the pointed direction and awe-struck by the scenery.

"Beautiful," muttered Nilo while her mouth gaped like a fish. Silver and Shift not so different either, both of them had their jaw dropped, fascinated by the view because this was their first time to visited a beautiful, green, and refreshing panorama, without the intervention of war or battle, not yet at least.

Nilo then moved to closer to the cockpit's window to took a better view of the scenery, until her face sticked to the window. Her eyes moved back and forth, took every detail she could take and enjoyed every second of it.

"Beautiful isn't ? I hope you like it," the others looked at Vort with confusion until he spoke again, "because that's where we are going to land," he said with a smirk in his face while others eye-widen and suprised by the news. So Shift directly coursed the ship to the designated area and stopped mid-air just above the field wide enough for the ship to use as a landing zone.

Inside the ship, stood right in front of the cargo door is Vort and Silver in full armor, helmet on, weapons in arm, waiting for Shift to landed to ship until in touch the ground.

Both men use the same type of helmet, which is BARC trooper standard helmet with eye visors that is widen to the edge of the helmet but narrowed, made it looked like a small tactical goggles. The different between both helmets was Vort's one had a rangefinder in the right ear and AUG insignia in front part of the helmet, right side, right besides the little small bulge on the top of the helmet. While Silver helmet only had AUG insignia in the same position as the commander.

Both have weapons in their arm, standing still, with Nilo behind them and her lighsaber in hand, ready to assisted them if anything goes wrong.

Then Shift's voice spoke through the comlink, "We have landed, sir. Our scan not detecting anything since we're landed besides small animals, but there is nothing wrong with being on guard, right ?" said Shift from his position still in the cockpit.

"Yes you're right, Shift, now please open the door," Vort responded with a sighed. He then looked at Silver and spoke, "prepare your smoke grenade, wait for my signal," the trooper nodded as he took a smoke grenade from behind one of his pocket.

"Alright Shift, open the door now," said Vort back to Shift. Not long after that, the cargo door, which is almost 2 meters height and 1 meter width opened slowly vertically upwards. Both men stand guard behind it. With a swift yet slow forward movement sign of both right forefinger and middle finger by Vort, Silver immediately threw the smoke grenade he has been holding for 1 minute outside the ship far enough and with small "tup" sound, exploded into a dense cloud of smoke to cover the entrance and area in front of it.

"Go!" whispered Vort but loud enough to Silver to heard as Vort began to descended down the field followed closely by Silver. Both trooper quickly scanned the area with their thermal vision while aimed the surrounding area. Minutes passed filled with silence and after sure there is nothing outside animals and birds, both of them lowered their weapons and guard and signaled their comrades inside the ship to came outside.

"It's ok, the area is secure, there is no one here," said Vort seeing Shift and Nilo with their respective weapons on guard, Shift with his blaster aimed to the sky while Nilo ignited her saber. After heard their commander voice, both of them lowered their weapon as well.

"Ooh, it's good then," Nilo said as well turned off her lighsaber and began to looked around and once again amazed by the place's view while Shift only nodded his head in acknowledgement.

"Ok, now let's make a camp for now, contact Centurion, and established planetary network with other teams," said Vort with three others nodded their heads again to performed the orders.

Not while after that, a simple yet complete camp has been made by Zulu-7. The team had also contacted the flagship regarding their current position and situation and built a planetary network with other teams spread across the planet. It seems that Zulu-7 has landed on southern part of the main continent with another 5 teams close to their position and built their own camp.

A months had passed since AUG infiltration to the planet, while Zulu-7 had settled in the area known as Eriza Mountains and close to the city of Ganada, part of Earth Kingdom's territory. Enjoying the stary night alongside Southern Light dancing in the sky, the locals said that the light itself is the embodiment of dancing spirits, which illuminated the sky since the event known as Harmonic Convergence happened a year ago. Enjoyed & relaxed by the night view, Nilo sat in front of the campfire right outside the ship while comtemplating everything they know so far about the planet.

AUG have learned some valuable information through their survey teams. First, where people – not all, but still in large numbers – gifted with unique ability to bend one single element from each of basic nature element : Air, Water, Earth, and Fire, this thus divided them into four nations : Air Nomad with currently only 4 known members alive because an Air Nomad genocide 170 years ago, Water Tribe in both North and South Pole, Earth Kingdom who almost dominated the entire continent as their territory, and Fire Nation located in the western archipelago. There are also United Republic of Nations located in the western peninsula of the main continent where all benders and non-benders from all over the world lived side by side without their nature bender boundaries.

Second, is the world's protector and keeper of peace known as the Avatar who was the only person who able to bended all four elements. A reincarnated individual every time the previous Avatar died and reborn again to the next nation in the cycle. The cycles sequence itself is as followed : Air Nomad, Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, and Fire Nation. The current Avatar was a young woman originated from Southern Water Tribe in the South Pole, which described the heavy population in both North and South, while it seems Northern seemed stronger, wealthier, and larger than their oversea's sister tribe. But a rumor said the Avatar herself was taken rest and disappeared from public display about a year ago.

Third is the existance of a spiritual realm known as spirit world, where spirits of all kind with unique features lived, they also learned that to enter the world is through meditation and certain ability. Very few people able to enter the spirit world and it also one of the dangerous place. It is also the Avatar's duty to maintain balance between both spirit and human, now where Harmonic Convergence several months ago allowed both spirit and human to freely enter both worlds without barrier.

Fourth was the existence of Order of the White Lotus, led by individual titled Grand Lotus, known publicly as secret society protecting world's wisdom, philosophy, science, and truth that transcended nations. According to the reports, this order also tasked to protected and guided the Avatar to perform her duty well. But the order's contact with the Avatar also ended several months before her absence and now the order only duty is protecting the world's leaders and high-maximum security guard.

It was the third week after they learned about the society. They found someone who was suspected being one of its members, he used an outfit that matched a White Lotus members where the stranger wore a distinctive indigo-colored outfit with white details, a similarly colored cape and a Lotus patterned mantle around the shoulders and a cowl with a small insignia on the front. The stranger himself seemed to have just come from some kind of temple prison outside the city. A high security prison, just like what a White Lotus doing. Nilo thought to herself.

Another incident occured during the years, which caught the AUG attention was Earth Kingdom's vacuum of power caused by Earth Queen's death in the hand of a group of anarchy. This led to Earth Kingdom's political & economic chaos across the Kingdom. It has been two years since a young woman named Kuvira determined to reunited again the now chaotic Kingdom back to it's former glory. Well there is nothing we can do about it, Master's order is to see how it progressed and ended. Nilo thought to herself again. Not long after her thought ended, she slowly closed her eyes and sleep in front of the campfire.

"Hey, wake up, sleepy head!" voice of Silver can be heard as a splash of water met with Nilo's face. Her surprised expression couldn't contained the culprit's laughter and soon burst out laughing while in the background both Shift and Vort chuckled by the scene.

"Yeah, yeah, really funny, Silver," said Nilo deadpanned and followed by groan and yawn from the padawan learner. "So, what is our activity today, Vort ?" asked Nilo.

After all members of Zulu-7 calmed a bit, the said commander answered to his companion, "As your report said yesterday, I want you and Shift to recon the stranger, watch and track him. I already been report this finding to the Admiral, he wants us to interrogated the stranger and contact with their Grand Lotus ASAP."

"It will be done, sir. Come one, Nilo, we get the hunting part while Silver stays with the ship," said Shift while he stand up and gestured Nilo to followed him, both has just finished their breakfast. Sliver just grumbled about unfairness in all this. Both the latter later preparing their gear to began their mission.

Not so long, both warriors arrived in their destination, Ganada city square, sitting on the rooftop, watching the city's morning activites, housewives shopping at the market, kids playing among themselves, while the men talked about their jobs. The city itself looked unaffected by the Kingdom's condition and able to hold by themselves.

Soon their eyes take glimpse of long coat of indigo and white, Shift nudged Nilo with the back of his palm. "Hey, it seems our prey is in sight," said Shift while Nilo just grinned excitedly.

Shift took his sniper rifle and took aim to the back side of the siad prey. With one shot, the tracker had planted right in his left calf, a small device that stuck, unnoticed by the White Lotus agent. Shift then check his glass screen indicating that the tracker has set in place & active, so they can tracked him wherever he went. "Let's follow where he goes," said Shift as Nilo nodded in agreement.

After followed the White Lotus agent through crowded roads, narrowed streets, and footpaths, they stopped at a temple-like building, where the agent exchanged guard with his fellow White Lotus agent who guarding the entrance. The former take the latter place as a guard.

Hours after that, the guard left the temple and returned to the city. He walked through the street and stopped in front of a door which looked like his home, opened the door and went inside the house. That night, Shift and Nilo knocked the front door, much to Shift's disagreement and embarassment, which opened revealed the same guy from before. Nilo was the one to talked.

"Good night, sorry for disturbing your night, but can we go inside your house ?" asked Nilo innocently while waving her hand in friendly manner.

"Umm...sorry, not meant to rude, but who are you people ? what do you want ?" asked the guy in confusion why in the hell of the night, some strangers come to his home, uninvited, no less wore a wierd outfit, one looked like a monk, another is a machine ? though he inwardly thought it was a pretty impressive armor or attire or outift ?, not he admitted it loudly.

"Maybe we can talk inside ? that information is a bit sensitive," Nilo said while gesturing "a bit" with her fingers, emphasized the point of it. The guy watched his uninvited guest and shrugged it while welcomed them into his house. Both galactic warriors sighed of relief, inwardly. Now, three persons were inside the house, the young Jedi sat in the couch in the living room across from the house's host, the ARC trooper leaned his body to the doorway led to the other room across from front door. They sat there for a minute of uncomfortable silence until Nilo started to spoke.

"So how the White Lotus job doing ?" asked Nilo casually.

The person being asked got caught off-guard and wide-eyed by the sudden question. Able to composed himself after a few second, he asked back suspiciously to his guests, "How do you know ?"

"Well we have a tracker chip in your leg earlier this day and we have known about White Lotus duty and attire, so...sorry, hehe" said Nilo sheepishly while rubbing her neck's back in embarrassment. The said guy just sighed in annoyance as well rubbed his temple in hearing this, not only get caught by a stranger, but not realized everything around him. Really, White Lotus standard has dropped in recent years.

"We want to form an alliance with the Order of the White Lotus, concerning not only peace and balance in this world, but also the entire Multiverse," said Shift casually, as he saw the confusion in the agent's face and continued, "our leader want to meet with yours in the place you came earlier today in a week, give this to him," Shift said as he gave the Lotus agent a hologram device, "push the blue button, and the message will appeared, hoping he understand our intention in forming alliance with Order of thr White Lotus."

"Fine, I will deliver your message to the Grand Lotus tomorrow, now can you please leave me alone, we all need rest after this long and tiring day, don't we ?" gesturing to the front door as the guests stand up and moved to the front door and rudely slammed the door to their face, leaving both warrior sweatdropped at the agent's attitude.

"Well, he is rude," said Nilo, crossed her arm in annoyance.

"Tell me about it, now let's get back to the ship and report our development to Commander Vort," replied Shift, while he didn't look happy with the agent's attitude towards them, he just wanted back to the ship and get asleep as soon as possible. So with that in mind, both of them went back to their ship on foot, in silent.

After they arrived at the ship, they straight awak faced their commander and report everything occured that day. As soon their report finished, Vort directly contacted the Centurion about the development, now they were met with Admiral Trell via hologram comlink.

"Good job all of you, I will arrive on the surface in a week and withdraw all the survey teams to return to the fleet, while you, along with the Zulu-8, 9, and 10 need to rendezvous and will have to stay on the planet until our meeting with the White Lotus. Prepare everything and enjoy yourself, think of it as a little reward for your achievement, that's all, Admiral Trell out!" said the Admiral ended the transmission.

Two days later, while Zulu teams took their little vacation until the meeting, another event take place in Grand Lotus Office. Currently, the Grand Lotus himself was meeting with his agent who encountered Nilo and Shift and explained anything about his encountered with the two strangers. Them he tell the Grand Lotus about the hologram message and he must see it himself, so he pushed the blue button and to their surprised, the hologram displayed Grand Master Ezra Bridger. The message started to speak.

"My name is Ezra Bridger, Grand Master of Alliance of Unified Guardian. An organization established with a goal to achieved and maintained balance, peace, justice, and security throughtout the Multiverse.

"I know this is a lot to take at once, but have the purpose to create an alliance with you so we can protect each other's back. If you received this message, then, that's mean our delegation has come to you. We offered a betterment, an improvement, a new way and new view of how you see the world. This universe is not only lived by you, but by billions, even trillions of living being across the universe.

"We invite you to become the part to create a better world, to help whose in need, to fight for peace, to stand together creating a better place to live for the next generation. We are waiting for you. Good luck and may the force be with you."

After the last sentence spoke, the hologram turned off by itself and the room filled with silence. Until the Grand Lotus regained his composure, that sure a lot to take. "I will meet with them in a week, thank you, agent, you may leave,"said the Grand Lotus as he dismissed the agent while sighed and leaned back to his chair.

"Yes, Grand Lotus Daizan," said the agent as he returned the gesture with a bow and left the room, leaving the Order's leader alone in his office.
