Welcome back to a new chapter of Devil Of The Elemental Nations.
So the last place we left off was where we saw a hint of affection Mei has towards the Devil currently living in her village. Despite the council constantly throwing statements to her on how Naruto is slowly seducing her and trying to steal power from her, there is some truth to their words.
She is indeed in love with Naruto. But the only thing stopping her from confessing her love to Naruto, is her own self doubts. How her words get caught in her throat every time she tries to bring herself to confess her feelings and make Naruto aware of how she felt towards him.
But things don't work out as straight forward as one thinks. Naruto for his part thought he was done with the trash he had to deal with growing up. After Sparda took him away, he thought his past would remain behind him.
But things don't turn out the way one thinks.
After getting rid of a random frog demon, Naruto comes face to face with his past. His spoilt brother. Nakuma.
What will Naruto do with him finding himself against a past he never wanted to resurface?

Chapter 5: The Conspiracy.
The walk to the village of Nadeshiko was an extremely tense situation. Nakuma could not even believe he'd run into the brother he swore to get revenge on for putting him and his parents through hell.
An agonizing rage boiled within him as he stared at the back of his brother. Without him knowing, his hand made a beeline for his kunai pouch. The clinking of metal tipped Naruto off on what was about to befall him.
His hand swiftly moved to his pistol and was already pointing at Nakuma.
"Don't even think about it, brother." hissed Naruto as they finally made it to Nadeshiko.
Turning to Kakashi, Naruto spoke to the silver haired Jounin.
"This is where we part ways for now. I must begin my mission and present myself to the leader of this village." spoke Naruto in a rather formal tone.
"Very well. I will not try and pry for any information regarding your mission here. I need to secure lodging for my team." spoke Kakashi only to see Naruto hold out a hand.
"See you later." spoke the Devil with Yakumo smiling at how civilised Naruto was being right now despite holding a gun to his brother's head a few minutes ago.
But before Kakashi could even respond with shaking Naruto's hand, Nakuma spoke up.
"Teacher, do not rust that lowlife. Have you forgotten the devastation he wrought onto Konoha from just having a tantrum? He is pure evil that should be purged off the face of the Earth. His crimes are not to be taken ligh-"
A gunshot rippled through the relatively quiet village as everyone who heard the gunshot turn to look at Naruto who was holding the pistol in Nakuma's direction. The barrel still smoking from the fired shot. The shell clinked to the floor and vanished without a trace of it being there. The scary part about it was Naruto's eyes were still trained on Kakashi.
A small trail of blood traced the lines of Nakuma's right side as a small graze became visible.
"That bullet graze is a warning. Do not tempt me, brother. I will not miss a second time." barked Naruto holstering his pistol and walking to the rendezvous the mission stated.
Dropping to his knees as Nakuma hissed in pain as Sakura tried to stop the bleeding. Sasuke merely stood there. Marveling at the sheer power a small weapon like that held. It was incredible, for a lack of a better word.
Finally arriving, Naruto leaned against the wall as a cough was heard from around the corner.
"Heard the gunshot. Guess that was you." spoke the voice.
"So what if it was? Just a pest that needed to be taught a lesson." was all Naruto spoke as the voice revealed itself to be a woman.
Black hair and green eyes were the first features Naruto saw. A voloptuous figure was the next. A plump and fit figure where muscle and slim met in perfect harmony. Hair done in a wonderous ponytail. Long shapely legs that seemed to go on for miles.
"Shizuka I take it." spoke Naruto with Yakumo huffing at how this woman was clearly trying to seduce Naruto with her body.
"Correct." spoke the woman nodding her head. "I am the client that requested your aid. The request is for you to act as my boyfriend-"
She didn't finish as Naruto raised a hand to stop her.
"Sorry sweet cheeks. But I only take on jobs of the demon kind. I am a Demon Hunter after all. Not a boyfriend for hire." spoke Naruto with Shizuka nodding in understanding.
"I know that. If you'd let me finish I would've given you the full story." spoke the black haired leader with Naruto sighing as he leaned against the wall.
"Very well. Continue please."
"I have been ruthlessly stalked due to this jackass called Kokuyo trying to court me. Sending puppets to try and win against me in an attempt to have my hand in marriage. I've defeated him numerous times but lately he's been getting stronger. The previous time he used something against me that was...demonic...in nature. I feel that he may have signed a contract with demons." explained Shizuka.
"And how do I tie into this by pretending to be your boyfriend?" barked Naruto clearly not seeing how him playing boy toy fit into any of this.
"By pretending to be my boyfriend means you'll be with me when Kokuyo makes his next move to try and win me over. That way you can see for yourself what he is up to and put a stop to him once and for all." stated Shizuka.
"Wouldn't me playing the part of a bodyguard be better in this situation?" stated Naruto arching an eyebrow. "It would be much better as I'll be with you 24/7."
Shizuka was stumped there. In her desperation to hire the Demon Slayer, she forgot that it would be more lucrative for her and Naruto if he played the part of a bodyguard. It played the same way as what she stated in her request for his aid. Before she could aplogize for such a way of asking for help from Naruto, she found him deep in thought.
"Allthough, a boyfriend does show merit as well. By pretending to be your lover would draw out his jealousy further and cause him to act impulsively and irrationally to use his demon trump card more quicker." was all Naruto said before looking to Shizuka with a smile. "Very well. I will play the part of being your boy toy and get this matter resolved quickly to ensure no demon threat is present here."
"Thank you Naruto. Thank you for doing this. I promise you, that once this is over, you'll be handsomely rewarded." she cheered at how Naruto accepted the request.
Before she could do anything, Naruto wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close to him before capturing his lips for himself. Yakumo gasped in shocked at what her companion just did while Shizuka went wide eyed at the advance Naruto made to her.
Pulling away, she placed a hand over her mouth as she gazed at Naruto who smiled.
"We're pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend, right? Gotta play the part now." he stated only to be slapped across the face.
"But that doesn't give you permission to claim a woman's lips for yourself." snapped Shizuka going red in the face.
"Agreed. If you wanna smooch someone that badly, I'm right here." hissed Yakumo.
"I'll see you tomorrow." waved Naruto as he walked out of the alley with Yakumo on tow as if nothing happened. The red hand print on his cheek healing instantly.
Looking to Yakumo as they walked the streets, Naruto smiled to his succubus companion.
"What?" was all he said.
"You know I have a thing for you. And yet, you did that to a woman while I was right there. I know some woman find you attractive and all. But I at least should be made aware of these things before you get all handsy erotic with them. I may be a succubus but I have feelings too, you know." growled the winged demon with Naruto understanding where she was coming from.
"Fine, I get your point. No more touching women unless you're fine with them. Plus, it is also nearly time for your feeding." said Naruto with Yakumo glarring at him.
"You'll have to put more effort in this feeding if you ever want me to forgive you for your transgression." she barked.
Making it to an inn that coincidently was the same one Nakuma's group were in, Naruto found the 4 of them eating dinner. Both Naruto and Nakuma glared at each other as Naruto sat down at a table further away from them and ordered some food to eat with Yakumo doing the same. Along Yakumo could eat human food, she'd only be satisfied when Naruto fed her the usual way through the third part being the bed. Food just sometimes helped stave off her craving for Naruto's nectar.
Nakuma glarred at his brother as he finished his chicken wing. Throwing the bone onto his plate, he cleaned his mouth and fingers and jolted to his feet as he walked over to his brother.
"Hey." growled Nakuma grabbing Naruto's shoulder.
Instantly, Naruto went rigid as his eyes flashed a deep blue color.
"Get your damn hands off me." spat Naruto.
"You have to atone for your crimes. For what you put myself and my family through." snarled Nakuma.
"What crimes?" hissed Naruto getting more and more furious. Yakumo decided to move away to avoid what was about to happen. She had seen Naruto like this many times before. She even was once on the receiving end of his wrath. "You, that bastard and bitch chose to ignore me for my entire childhood. The way I see it. This is just karma."
"You take that back." barked Nakuma. "Apologize for your crimes and maybe I will forgive you."
Naruto instantly shot to his feet. Now that the two brothers were standing close together, you could see Naruto was slightly taller than his brother. Nakuma was at least 5' 4. Naruto looked to be around 5' 7.
Deep blue eyes blazed with rage gazed into blue green eyes as they glared at each other.
"Is that how you wanna play this game?" growled Naruto clenching his demonic hand into a fist. "You were always acting spoilt among us in the family. So you seem a little sus when you decided to try and pin this on me when you and the two screw ups neglected me."
"I'll beat that smirk right out of your body. You forget your place you little fucker." barked Nakuma sending a punch Naruto's face.
The punch connected but Naruto's body stayed exactly how it was. Looking to his brother who was bewildered at how Naruto was still fine after receiving a punch like that to the face. The next thing Nakuma remembered was a punch from Naruto's demonic arm connecting with the side of his face which sent him through a few tables and straight through the wall on the opposite end.
"Guess you don't even know the struggles of someone else you little shit." growled Naruto before calming down and looking to the waiter who was already standing there with Naruto's and Yakumo's order.
Apolgizing for the damages and paying a very healthy amount to cover the damages he caused, Naruto and Yakumo sat down and ate.
Deciding to apolgize for his student's antics, Kakashi got up from the table. During that whole ordeal, he couldn't move his body. Try as he might, his body refused to move. As if telling him that should he get involved, things would turn out more ugly.
Making his way to the table. Kakashi bowed to Naruto.
"I'm sorry for what my student just did." apologized the Jounin. "It won't happen again."
"It better not." hissed Naruto tucking into his food.
And scene.
There you have it.
The new chapter for Devil Of The Elemental Nations.
Seems like Shizuka is dealing with some demons right now in the form of Kokuyo making a deal with them. As well, Nakuma made the mistake of picking a fight with Naruto and ended up getting punched across the room and through a wall.
What is going to happen to Nakuma seeing that he is blinded to the truth of what really happened. Or mabye he doesn't want to accept the truth of what happened.
Also, I placed in a small Easter Egg within this chapter.
