To say that Jean-Luc always felt like he was in a rush, wouldn't be a lie. He was old, he was tired, but he needed to do the right thing. He had his own set of morals and goals and he needed to do what he felt was right.
Looking around at his newfound family, he let a small smile play on his face. They were all there for the right reasons, give or take, and even if they sometimes did shady things, he would always be there for them.
Jean-Luc was damned sure he was going to do good.
