Jane looked down at the wave. Watching the water move was great, but watching the reflection of the sun on the water was even better. When clouds overhead blocked out the sun, she wished it hadn't. Suddenly, there was sunlight on the water again, through a hole that had just formed through the clouds.
Jane started screaming uncontrollably when boys at school threw stuff at her during recess.
Suddenly, the boys each fell back and somehow got bloody noses.
They started crying.
Jane stared at them, in shock.
One of the recess supervisors approached. "How did that happen," she asked?
The boy each pointed at Jane. "She did it," one of them said.
"You expect me to believe that one girl, gave you both bloody noses."
"Well, she did."
"She's smaller than either of you, so I'd be surprised if she managed to give one of you a bloody nose."
"But she did, and she's the same age."
Jane was reading, "Alice in Wonderland," when a quote stuck out to her. It read, "Who in the world am I. Ah, that's a great puzzle." She thought of all the times that she had wondered what was wrong with her, mainly when her mother and grandfather were reacting to her talking to snakes.
Jane reached for a cookie, and one flew into her hand.
Her parents both gasped.
Jane looked and them, and said, "Who in the world am I? Ah, that's a great puzzle." She then bit into the cookie and walked off.
