"So what will happen now?" Wesley asked, in Picard's ready-room.

"Well, now, Wesley, perhaps the Iconians will return to the land of myth. But I am choosing to remain optimistic. I doubt that's the last we've seen of their technology. After all, if their portals are as far reaching as they seemed, who knows where they ended up thousands of years ago? There's always more to discover." He added, "And perhaps the next one won't be in the Neutral Zone where the Romulans can get at it."

"That's an encouraging perspective, sir."

Picard walked over to his replicator. "Tea, Earl Gray, hot." He removed a tea cup and saucer with the hot tea inside, smiling. "I do have to say that I've never been happier to have a cup of tea, though."

Wesley agreed with the captain.
