"So, you never told me how you know Q," Picard said, continuing his conversation with Guinan in Ten-Forward. "Frankly, I wish you'd told me beforehand."
Guinan sighed. "Aren't I allowed to have some secrets?" she asked rhetorically. Seeing that Picard was about to say something else, she held up a hand. "Don't worry, I wouldn't keep anything from you that would endanger the ship. I did warn you not to engage the Borg, didn't I?"
The captain nodded. "Yes, you did."
"If it's alright with you, I'd like to keep my dealings with Q private for now. Can you trust me, Captain?"
Picard smiled wryly. "I suppose I have to, don't I?"
