"Have you ever met a Romulan before?" Data asked Geordi in Ten Forward one evening.
"Can't say that I have before now," Geordi said. "I thought...it would be a different experience."
"How so?"
Geordi chuckled without very much humor. "Well, honestly? I thought he was going to kill me. But Bachra was just as scared as dying on that planet as I was."
Data was quiet a moment before saying, "It seems then that necessity created a bond between you and Bachra that would have not otherwise occurred."
Geordi shrugged. "You don't almost die alongside another person and not feel something about it."
"Regardless, Geordi, I am glad that Bachra helped you. I wish that I could thank him."
"Me too, Data."
