"I heard about what happened on the Gatherer's ship, with Yuta," Guinan said quietly to Riker, who was seated at the bar in Ten Forward.
"What of it?" Riker said dismissively.
"Well..." Guinan said, sighing. "I can't tell you that you made the right choice, but I believe that you probably made the best one that you could. In the given circumstances, of course."
"I can tell you that you made the right choice," Worf said, walking up to the bar and sitting next to Riker. "From what I heard, you even attempted to show her mercy. A Klingon warrior would have killed her on the spot."
Riker raised his eyebrows. "Even if it was someone you'd grown fond of?"
"Especially if that were the case."
The second officer smiled a little. "You know, I hate to admit it, Worf, but that does make me feel a little better."
"Happy to help, Commander," Worf replied.
