Worf entered Picard's ready-room with a PADD. "Here is the security report you requested on the Andosians and Danar, sir," he said, handing it to the captain at his desk.
"Much appreciated," Picard said. "We don't want anyone else crawling through our Jeffries Tubes that isn't supposed to be there."
"Certainly not, Captain." The Klingon turned to leave but Picard held up a hand.
"Off the record, Mr. Worf – what is your take on this whole situation?"
"Sir?"
"As my security officer, I value your opinion on matters like these."
A little pride showed through Worf's expression as he said, "I liked Danar. He was a good soldier. The government treated him and his fellow soldiers... poorly," he said. "To say the least. The most cowardly thing about it was that the government decided that they wanted peace at the cost of hiding the effects of war, of what they had done to their people." He huffed derisively. "Though I am sure you have already come to these conclusions yourself, sir."
Picard nodded. "Of course, but it is always good to hear other people's perspectives. Thank you, Worf. You are dismissed."
