Worf grumbled as he saw Wesley approaching his table at Ten Forward.

"Hey Worf," Wesley said, looking apprehensive. "Are you doing okay? You haven't seemed alright since we left Kronos."

With a bit of resignation, Worf waved a hand to one of the empty chairs. "Sit." Once the teenager had sat down, he continued, "How much do you know about what happened on the Klingon homeworld?"

Wesley shrugged. "Not much... only what we received in our junior staff briefing. Something to do with the High Council, I guess." He paused before adding, "But you and the captain went down to the planet, so I figured maybe it had something to do with you?"

Worf shook his head. "There was... an incident involving me, yes. And the captain was extremely helpful and gracious during that time. I assure you I will be fine. It is nothing that concerns you, Wesley."

Nodding, Wesley said, "That's what Data said – that it'd be better if I didn't bring it up."

Worf smiled, so slightly and so briefly that Wesley was left to wonder if he'd imagined it. "Mr. Data certainly is insightful for being an android," he replied.
