I'm basing this off a very old idea I made with a friend of mine. He based our abilities on some very interesting ideas but all in all, my whole vibe was based on so many fucking jokes. It was almost like everyone believed them with how often they came up.

'Good grief' Saiki thinks/speaks. Projecting I think is what people call it

"No, Go away" Inner Saiki

As I woke up in bed I felt something was off.

Is another random author dragging me into a fanfiction?

I sat up. Good grief, I can't get a break.

'I hope you have a decent plot in place'

I went on with my day, I'm sure you know how it goes assuming you have either watched the shows or read the manga.

I'm Saiki Kusuo, the world's most powerful psychic. I could rule the world if I pleased but what I want is to live a peaceful life full of nothing but coffee jelly and peace. Unfountaly between my idiotic 'friends', random disasters, my psychotic older brother, and god-hating me, I'm forced into situations where I am forced to use my powers and never get the quiet life I want.

I went on with my day of grabbing some breakfast after greeting my mother and teleporting away before my father could can downstairs and pester me to teleport him to work.

As I was on my way to PK academy I felt someone watching me.

Due to this not being something favorable I crossed my eyes activating my clairvoyance. Before I could locate who was watching me, my sight was shifted and I was greeted with the sight of a set of striking grey eyes and blonde hair. He made a shushing gesture with his finger and an annoying voice filtered into my mind.

Not yet, Now's not the time at all...Saiki Kusuo

That is very interesting. It seems this author wants to hide(badly) what's in store. Time for game 300, "How badly do you want to have a normal day Saiki?"

Soon enough I was in my seat with the usual banter going on when our teacher entered the room. His name is Takumi Iguchi. Don't worry he may seem perverse but he's harmless.

"Now class We are getting some new students today"

Students? Everyone seemed to think at the same time.

I ignored the thoughts going on around me. If there were new students this can't be good. All of the new students so far haven't been great news. Reita Toritsuka, Aiura Mikoto, and Touma Akechi are all new students that learned my secret.

So will they be students with special abilities or just something special about them? Kuboyasu Aren was a gangster and Hii Suzumiya had extreme bad luck.

The most concerning part was that I can't seem to hear any thoughts that could be from them. Meaning either their either far away or they are blocking me somehow.

In walked two boys. One was the boy from earlier. His blonde hair was a decent length and was messy but none of it landed in his face. He stood at about 5'3. The other boy however was dark-skinned unlike his pale-skinned(Friend?). His hair was fairly long for a guy and he was constantly moving it out of his face, giving everyone a good look into his dark eyes. He stood at a good 5'5.

The taller one locked eyes with me and gave me a wink.

Saiki Kusuo, after school we have much to discuss.

My eyes widened a bit. So the author was going this route.

Jaden P.O.V

If you had told me that I was going to have to deal with going to school after all I've been through, I would tell you to go to hell before I sent you there myself.

Hi, I'm Jaden. I'm just your everyday guy cursed with powers, sent to destroy the most average seeming guy on the planet.

Sounds fun right?

My friend is Grant. Also a fellow normal person with powers.

"Alright buddy, remember the plan. We go through one day of school here, we either kill or capture the psychic, and report to base" I said as I paced back and forth.

"Yeah, yeah I know. No need to be so nervous. You kicked Jet black wings ass by yourself, now you got back up" He said as he messed with his jacket.

"Jet black wings wasn't this fucking OP," I said as I unzipped my Jacket for the millionth time

"Well your lucky you got me then"

I let out a sigh as I buttoned up my collar shirt. "I'm just saying, the shit we have heard him do with his powers limited are freaking crazy. He's been rewinding time"

"Still don't see why they didn't handle that themselves"

I stopped fiddling and closed my eyes. "Every mission we are one step closer to freedom man"

He snorted. "Do you actually believe they'll just let us go after us proving we are valuable, breaking us in for this job, and the countless experiments?"

"They can't keep me forever. They'll have 2 choices. Change me back and let me leave or I force my way out."

He patted me on the shoulder. "I don't know if that's a good idea man but whatever you say. Take me with you ight?"

"Of course"

I just wanted to be normal. I never asked for this or the massive wing with the word DARK tattooed on my back.

He passed me a phone and I wordlessly charged it in my hand.

"He should be headed to school by now, I'm going to watch him," I said as I leaned towards the ground track runner style. "Keep his eyes off me."

I took off and stopped to quickly jump onto the roof of a house. From there I'll be able to watch him a bit safer.

I felt my eyes shift a bit as my eyes landed on the pink-haired boy himself.

A bit of information appeared before me.

Name: Saiki Kusuo

Age: 17

Sex: Male

Sexuality: ?

Occupation: student/psychic

Abilities: ?ERROR?

First time I've seen that before. I mentally shared this with Grant.

Then a warning bell went off in my head causing me to jump back to the ground.

I just saved your ass, you owe me a soda

Yeah, yeah I'll do it later

(1 hour later)

So now I'm standing in front of this class and the minds I hear are...simple to say the least.

The only people that stick out to me are a few. One girl wondered why I didn't look at her longer, one dude I didn't hear anything at all, another was rapid firing different thoughts so quickly that I nearly threw up, one said I looked like I was part of his old gang(Not sure if I should take that as a compliment), Saiki was thinking about coffee jelly and something about the plot, but the best was wondering if we were from the Dark Reunion.

Kaidou, otherwise formally known as Jet black wings. Man, they really messed up his memories.

Gant elbowed me in the ribs signifying that it was my turn to introduce myself.

Let's see, I'll be the scary-looking yet soft and laid-back type. Why not throw in forgetful?

"Hello everyone, I'm Jaden...Ah Sorry, I forgot my last name again" I said as I scratched the back of my head with an awkward laugh. "I'll have to tell you guys another time if that's alright. I like being active, reading and writing. Guess I'm a bit of a nerd huh?" I said still going with the laugh.

My god, this is so stupid. No one is going to-

Hmm seems my hunch was wrong. Jaden and Grant could never be part of The Dark Reunion, they are far too nice and did not seem like the type to hide anything so well

Holding in my laughter I looked at my blonde-haired buddy and he seemed to have heard that too.

"Jaden and Grant you can pull up some chairs until we get you some desks." Our teacher said, avoiding smiling.

I looked at grant and we nodded. Grant pulled up a chair and sat with Saiki and I pulled up a chair with Kaidou.

He tried to make small talk and I went along while Grant just smirked at Saiki the whole time.

I decided to break Kaidou's mind a little. "So, The Dark Reunion huh?"

Kaidou, who didn't expect that, started choking on his spit.

How could he know? Is he a member that has come to steal the black belt again?

I smiled at him full of mirth, "I assure you, the black belt is old news. We aren't after you currently not after I defeated you then sealed your powers and memories"

He did what?! Not possible! Is he reading my mind?

"If you asked a friend of yours that you don't pay that much attention to, you might have a chance at getting those powers back. Fair warning, I've only gotten stronger since then"

With that, a bell rang and we could leave. "See you around, Jet Black"

Grant who heard everything hit the back of my head. "What the hell man? It's bad enough we don't know what the target is capable of, you have to provoke the one that could stop us"

"Please, you said it yourself I beat him before, I can do it again."

We sat eating for a bit before I got bored.

"Grant can you just speed time up real quick?"

He let out a sigh. "You realize you're just spitting out our abilities at random right? I'm 90% sure that a good portion of readers would have left long ago because you turned them off."

Ok, here I go.

I am the more offensive one of us two. The best defense is a good offense. I've been modified to have your basic enhanced everything, powers to control the main elements, your basic telepathy(although I have control over this), the power to enhance my strength and speed, the ability to learn small fractions of information about people by looking at them, and more.

I'll explain the more bit in a bit.

Naturally, Grant here is my counterpart. Along with telepathy, enhanced body, he has the power to speed up and slow down time, to interrupt the powers of others(such as canceling them out or even causing them to go astray), a much stronger version of my telepathy, that eye-crossing thing, the ability to teleport people and things, create forcefields, shoot beams of energy, and more.

The and more part is due to us gaining more powers every week. They figured that if you were going to make one amazing on one thing and the other cover main weaknesses why not slowly add more so they would be able to pull off team things alone.

I'm sure you're wondering what the hell is happening. Some might be a bit more perceptive. Grant and I, are super-powered...grunts? I'm not sure what to call us. We were normal until we developed some kind of ability, then the dark reunion came in, modified our bodies, and turned us into mission completers.

Our current mission is to defeat Saiki Kusuo.

Why? Not sure. Didnt ask. I just do what I have to do to possibly get back home peacefully.

If Saiki Kusuo is the only thing in my way, I'll trample him harder than I did to Jet Black wings over there.

I beat his ass 5 different colors.

"You done with your inner monolog?"

"Yes"

"Good"

Grant closed his eyes for a second and he started to glow faintly. He grabbed my wrist and we were out on the street right behind our target.

He was being pestered by guess who.

"I'm telling you Saiki he was reading my mind! I have to find out who he was talking about who can get my powers back! I always thought I was trying to be cool when I said anything about the Dark Reunion, they're real! You got to help me! Please!" Kaidou pleaded.

This is almost funny to watch.

Saiki's head immediately turned to face me and Grant, who was laughing like an idiot.

Kaidou's eyes widened when he saw me. "AH SAIKI CALL FOR HELP! I'LL HOLD THEM OFF"

Now I couldn't hold back any laughter. I projected into his mind. 'Do you really think you can hold me off?'

Clearing my throat. "Saiki, My friend and I have to speak with you. Quite urgent."

"Wait, you're really not after me? What do you want with Saiki?"

Ignoring the boy I continued. "My friend here will send you the location, I expect to see you there."

With that, Grant placed a hand on my shoulder and we teleported to somewhere that should be familiar to you viewers.

It was a rocky area, the one where Saiki goes to use his powers.

Soon enough Saiki appeared in front of us.

'So what are you two after?'

Grant stepped forward. "We just need to get you to submit. You can either come with us or Jaden here gets to have some playtime" He said jutting a thumb in my direction.

I stepped forward. "Our bosses want to...examine you."

'What are you from? Some hidden branch of the government?'

"Your friend was right. We come from the Dark Reunion."

The purple eyes widened. 'What do you want with me?'

"I don't know, Jaden being the blockhead he is from time to time didn't ask"

His face is starting to piss me off. How could he look like that 24/7?

Oi, Jaden you realize that you act like him 25% of the time right?

I don't

"Anyway, do you want to fight or come with us?" I asked him

'I don't fight like I'm sure you do'

"Well fine. I haven't been given a good workout in a long time. How about this, if you fight me I'll get you some full-price coffee jelly. The good stuff. Doesn't matter if you win or lose"

Next thing I know I was thrown to the ground.

You know, I'm not surprised that he was dumb enough to go through so many attitude changes.

I thought I was bi-polar, Jaden takes the cake. Grant here by the way.

The second Jaden finished talking Saiki was flying and Jaden was rammed into the ground.

A ball of blue energy formed in front of the flying pink-haired boy that shot into the crater in the ground.

I heard a groan and then Jaden jumped out of the crater, seemingly unscathed.

He twisted his body around and I heard him pop his neck. "Not bad, you hit me with exactly 2.68587759871% times the amount the training robots hit with."

I swear something about this guy is unnatural. I heard his body adjusted to the changes they made quickly so that makes me question what is he?

When I asked why they gave him so much durability they replied with they didn't give him that much. He just had it.

My first power was the power to teleport. They don't know what Jaden's was.

While I zoned out, Jaden had managed to knock out one of the limiters on Saikis head. Which made the fight hard to view. They were zooming around, landing punches here and there. Every time Saiki made some distance and landed some kind of long-range attack, Jaden shrugged it off and closed whatever gap there was.

I heard a rumble from above. I looked up and saw a storm brewing. Yeah, that comes with Jaden using his power over electricity. Normally a storm follows.

A bolt of lightning struck Jaden and then the storm vanished. That might have been Saiki.

Now that Jaden was supercharged, he started moving faster and an occasional zap of electricity could be heard.

My god their really going at it huh?

I teleported away, grabbed some popcorn and a book, teleported back to see that they were still zipping around the place.

After I read about 5 chapters, Jaden landed a good hit that sent the pink-haired boy crashing into the ground and Jaden being Jaden, quickly stomped the poor guy further into the ground.

After that, no movement. I could hear both of them panting.

Yo Grant! Did you get anything for me and Saiki?

I raised an eyebrow. "I thought you were going to try and kill him. Why bother getting him a snack? I figured to not get either of you a snack because even if you died, I could probably beat Saiki when he was weakened and I wouldn't have wasted any money."

Jaden looked down and they both seemed to agree with my logic there.

Now I'm sure you realize that both of them aren't using many of their other powers. Like Jaden only used his electricity, even though he's far more proficient with his wind. Saiki has a list of powers that would give him the edge here. I think they got caught up in the heat of the moment and just mindlessly fought, which is out of character for Saiki.

The idiots were still in the crater Jaden created with Saiki's body with his foot still on Saiki's chest. That should say plenty about where their minds are.

"Let's call a truce" I heard Jaden say as I opened my book. Before I could finish the first line of chapter 6, I heard another crash and groan.

I looked up and Saiki was floating above Jaden. Who looked...bad to put it lightly. Both boys looked roughed up now, but Jaden took the cake.

Grant...I think...we shouldn't go back

"What the fuck!?" I shouted causing Saiki to look at me surprised.

'I assume your friend over there said something stupid'

"Yeah, he said we should just not go back"

"This is the first time I've failed a mission" Jaden groaned. "I want to get stronger and they aren't helping me do so"

"What about your family that you wanted to see so bad?!"

"They can wait. The Reunion wouldn't lay a finger on them if they knew we were with the very man that took us down"

'Wait..Don't tell me-'

"We're going to join Saiki's group"

Of course, he would do this.

Jaden lifted himself up and started stretching. "Got to admit you don't even need the plot armor, Saiki. I know this may seem out of pocket but...I want to leave now. Will you help me? "

I groaned.

'I feel as though I don't have a choice' Saiki projected to us.

"And I feel as though," I started as I threw my book on the ground. "That we have a crap ton of homework to do"
