It was 2pm and still no calls, Olivia had just set the table and said if you get a call now, they're just going to have to wait. Hell yeah, this looks amazing Liv. Thank you she replied. Amanda picked Noah up and sat him in his highchair. She then put a bib around his neck. You're 1st Christmas dinner little guy she said, and pinched his cheek. He giggled and Olivia sat at the other side of the table, facing Amanda. Aw thanks so much for being here Amanda, really, it's been great. It feels like a proper Christmas, instead of just another normal day with Noah. Aw thanks for having me Liv, to be honest, this is my 1st proper Christmas in a long, long time, so I really appreciate you inviting me, and I'm also glad that my phone hasn't rang either. They both laughed and Olivia said, yeah me too, this has been lovely. Dinner finished and dishes done, Liv said hey how about we go for a Christmas walk? They got Noah ready, and then themselves and headed out. Walking around the local park Amanda took some photos of Liv and Noah and Liv took some of Amanda and Noah. They sent each other the photos that they had taken of each other today and Amanda saw the one of her reading to Noah. Hey, I didn't know you took this, Olivia replied yeah, I just thought it was a lovely picture. She smiled and said you know, you're great with Noah Amanda, you ever thought about kids yourself? Amanda sighed and said, well yeah, I'd love kids at some stage, but my life has been so screwed up I doubt it will happen. She felt her stomach drop, Olivia replied, well you never know, if things work out with Nick then you might change your mind. Amanda smiled and said, woah Liv, we're jumping way down the line there, we've only been seeing each other a week, I'm mean, yeah, I'm crazy about him, he's great. I've never felt the way I do with him like ever before, but…. I don't know, he's got his kids to think about, it's been a tough 2 years for him with Gil moving to California this year too. I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to move there to be closer to his kids. Oh, I don't know Rollins, he seems happy enough to me, especially this week. Let's not think about that. With that Amanda's phone rang. Aww I knew it was too good to be true they both said, but when she looked at the phone it wasn't work calling, it was Nick. Hey Nick, Amanda answered, smiling, Hey bonita, you busy? She said no actually, me, Liv and Noah are out having a walk around the park. Hey Nick, Liv shouted. Oh really? Hang up and I'll video call, I wanna see the little guy. Ok see you in a minute. Liv looked at her very confused, and she said see you in a minute? Amanda laughed and said, no not like that, he wants to see you and Noah so he's gonna video call. Oh great. Amanda's phone rang again, and she answered. Hiya again…. She held the phone in the middle so he could see Liv also. Hey guys "Feliz Navidad!" Hi Nick, Merry Christmas! Hey Liv, I tried calling you but couldn't get through, so I rang Amanda hoping she wasn't at work. Huh, I have my phone here, aww that would be why, and she rolled her eyes at Amanda, it would help if I didn't have it on silent. Amanda laughed, sorry Nick said Olivia. He laughed hey no worries, as long as she was still with you and I didn't get roped into a case I don't care. They 2 women laughed. So, where's my little mate? Amanda switched the camera round as Liv called Noah over to them. Hey Noah, come say hello to Uncle Nick, she switched it back to them and they sat Noah in the middle so they could see each other. Hey Noah! ¿Santa vino a ti? Noah nodded his head and said si. Aw I'm glad pequeño niño, te diviertes con mami y tia amanda? The little boy nodded. And turned to Liv and said mami then turned to Amanda and said Ammma. Liv near burst into tears, she said yes Noah, well done you. Amanda was nearly crying too. Hey little guy, you're such a clever boy. She kissed his cheek and looked at the phone, Ok Nick what did you say to him? Liv laughed, and Nick said I just asked him if he was having fun with you both. Liv said, yeah, I'm definitely going to have to teach you some Spanish Rollins. They all laughed and Amanda said, yeah you'll have to, it's going to come in handy, especially if this little guy's going to be talking in it too by the looks of things! Liv asked Nick where he was and he said we've just had brunch here and I'm getting ready to head off to Gil's now, but someone here wants to see you, Zara then appeared on the screen beside Nick and she said Hi Olivia and Amanda, where's Noah? Liv and Amanda said hello and said how big she had gotten, and then they showed her Noah, Noah pointed to the phone and waved, and Zara said Olivia I bought Noah a Christmas present but it's a secret so my daddy is taking it home with him. Aw thanks sweetie, I'm sure he will love it. Zara then said I have to go now and play with my toys, bye Olivia and Amanda, she waved and went off again. It was just Nick again, so they chatted for another few minutes then Liv said right I'll talk to you when you get home Nick, your Godson thinks is clever to try and eat the sand here. He laughed and said, Oh hey by the way, the reason I called you Liv, Thank you for Noah's gift, It's beautiful, I love it. Olivia went Oh crap don't say anything else Nick, he looked and she said, I forgot to give you yours Amanda, and it's the same as Nick's so don't say another word. Nick laughed and said, OK my lips are sealed, but thank you again Liv. She went off to get Noah and left Amanda and Nick alone for a bit. She smiled and said so everything going OK? Yeah it is, I'm just about to head over to Gil's now, he smiled, you ok Bonita? she smiled and replied, yeah, I am, I've had a lovely day today, and me and Liv have had a great time just talking and sharing secrets. Nick looked and said uh oh, that sounds worrying, she laughed and said, no, no, everything is fine. Us girls can have secrets too you know, not just you boys. She heard Zara calling her dad so she said hey I'll let you get back to her, have fun with Gil this afternoon, just at that Olivia arrived back with a crying Noah, she turned Nick to see Noah again and he said Hey hey, hombrecito, suficiente de ese llanto, enough of that crying little man. Noah stopped crying and started to settle down. Right Nick when are you home asked Liv, cause this little boy needs to have a big word with his Uncle Nick. He laughed and said I'll call by on Wednesday if I've no jet lag. But you know you can call me anytime. I'm holding you to that Amaro she said, although Auntie Amanda has a good touch with him too, she's been a life saver today with him, so she may get called upon before you. She got up to put Noah into his pram, say bye bye to uncle Nick Noah, and he waved bye to him. Amanda turned to him again and he said, so you having fun with Noah? She smiled shyly and said, yeah, we've been bonding it's been great. He grinned and gave her one of his sexy looks, good to know, he said smiling, I'm delighted to hear that. She smiled and said, no ideas Amaro, I'll talk to you later. They said goodbye and then hung up.
Liv then said well it's as well I'm not on call today seeing as my phone wasn't even set to ring. Amanda laughed and said isn't it just. She then said you know, I really need to change the ringtones on this for phone calls and video calls, as I've been dreading it today. Olivia said, yeah that's a good idea. Then she said, right thanks to Nick reminding me lets head back to mine so Noah can give you your gift. I can't believe I forgot. Amanda said, honestly Liv you don't have to, and she said, no you're his godmother so it's just a small thing to acknowledge it. They got back to Liv's and she gave the bag to Noah, and she said, go show Auntie Amanda. He toddled over and handed the bag to Amanda, she picked him up and sat him on her knee, and as he snuggled into her, she opened it. She could feel herself welling up. Oh Liv it's beautiful, I love it! It was a beautiful photo frame with Godmother engraved on it. Placed inside was a photo that Liv had taken the other night of her, Nick and Noah. Along with it there was a keyring with a picture of Noah and on the back it said To my Godmother and the date. Oh I love it Liv, thank you so much. She hugged Noah and gave him a kiss and thank you little one. Yeah, I had to tell a fib the other night to get Nick's sorted, as I had no photos in them, but when Rafael pointed out that cute picture on the sofa I got the idea. I had to run into my room and print one off to put in Nick's frame and re-wrap it. They sat chatting for a while then the phone rang. Aww it was too good to be true Amanda said, Liv said well we got most of the day, I'm glad about that. She answered the phone and said yeah, I'll be there in 15 mins. She said sorry Liv, and Olivia said, you've nothing to be sorry for, I'm just glad it didn't happen earlier. Thank you for a lovely day I really enjoyed it, and it was great for Noah. You're on the official list of calls for babysitting duties when mummy needs a break she laughed. Hey anytime Liv, you know that. After today I feel more confident. Amanda hugged Noah and Olivia and headed off to the crime scene. Let me know if you need me Liv shouted…. I won't she said, I promise.
