Post ep.3x06, Lexa and Clarke are united in their love and their mission for peace. However, all is not as it seems, as a traitor works to destroy their plans, the consequences of which cast Lexa's soul on a journey back to an alternate time and reality. Some things change, but destiny is always the same. Can Lexa stop the evil which stalks mankind and find her soulmate once more?

Hello friends,

So, let me just say that I am a little bit in shock right now over the events of the episode that just aired. Although it was always my intent not to let what happens in the show post episode 3x06 greatly effect my overall story as I had already planned to write it, I never truly imagined that some of the plot elements of the episode would so closely match Chapter 2 of this story. The first two chapters of this fic were conceived of and fully written prior to episode 3x07 being aired, and I can't now help but wonder if my subconscious was perhaps a little more tuned in to the unfortunate direction the show was taking than I initially gave it credit for.

Now, if you are as heartbroken as I am over the last episode, then let me try to give you some reassurances. Lexa and Clarke are true soulmates, and they will be finding a happy ending here. That was always my plan, and from the moment I started writing this fic, I already had a very clear ending in mind, one that I think will make all of us happy. Hopefully I will have the heart to keep writing this now, and can see this story through to its happy end. Its my hope that this will end up being a healthy type of therapy after the trauma I feel like I just went through.

I'm going to start work on Chapter 3 tomorrow. Lexa has a big day ahead of her, and I can't wait to get her back up on her gorgeous, kickass feet!
