They enjoyed spending a lazy afternoon just lying on the couch cuddling and watching tv. They sat and had Christmas dinner and just as they were finishing, Nick received a video call from Zara. Amanda said, do you need to go outside to take it so she doesn't know you're here? Without answering he held her hand, smiled and said nope, and answered the call. Hola princesa como estas? Aw nothing really, mummy had to go to work so Julie is here looking after me. Oh really? Yeah, she had to leave early this morning and won't be back till late, so I thought I'd call you and talk to you. Are you still with abuelita? No he said, I came home yesterday princesa. Oh, she replied, and he saw her looking closer at the screen. But that's not our house, she said. He laughed and said, no it's not, you're right. I called by to visit Amanda. Oh, she said, does that mean you're busy and can't talk to me? No no, I can talk to you princesa. She smiled, good. But where's Amanda? He said she's right here, we're just having some lunch, he switched the camera around so she could see Amanda, Hi Zara she said, how are you? I'm good thank you Amanda. But you look tired. Amanda blushed and said, yeah, I am a bit I've been working long hours honey, But I'm OK. You need to make sure you get lots of sleep or you can get sick, isn't that right papi? He switched the screen back laughing, that's right princesa. She's going to go for a nap after lunch he looked up at her with a smile. They talked for another few minutes and then he heard Julie calling her. OK princesa, you need to go now, and I need to finish my lunch. Have a great time today and I'll talk to you later OK? They hung up and he returned to his dinner, Amanda had finished hers. She misses nothing, said Amanda. He laughed she definitely doesn't. Imagine me in that jewellery shop the other day with her. She laughed again. She'll be wondering why you're here now, he laughed and said, yeah well, her mum will be wondering more when she tells her. He grinned and said, but I don't care. He took her hand and kissed it. She rubbed over his hand and smiled. Do I really look that tired? He laughed and said, no not really, you look sexy, and he grinned. Yeah, I could hardly tell her, her dad has been keeping me up, and she raised her eyebrow, he laughed and said, more like you've been keeping me up, and he grinned his sexy smile. Amanda laughed and said, oh you've been up alright she blushed. Dinner finished Nick told Amanda to go and sit down while he loaded the dishwasher. He then grabbed 2 beers from the fridge and sat down beside her, put his arm around her and kissed her temple. Hey, I've been thinking she said, Uh oh he laughed, she playfully hit his chest and said, no seriously, how about you phone Liv and arrange to take Noah for the day? He looked down at her, why when I could spend the whole day with you? She smiled and said, yeah, the 3 of us can spend the day together, we can go for a walk, maybe hit the sales, Noah's missed you. He smiled and said, well if that's what you wanna do, then, we'll spend the day with Noah. He smiled and kissed her. Anyway, she said, we have today, tomorrow night and all day Thursday alone again. He grinned yeah I like your plan. He picked up the phone and called Olivia. Hey Liv, hey Nick she said, what's up. Oh nothing, I was just wondering if it's still OK to come take Noah tomorrow. She smiled and said of course it is, turns out Lucy has an appointment tomorrow so I was going to have to take him into work with me for a while. Although, have you no other plans, are you not busy? He smiled, no I've no plans, and not busy. It'll be nice to get out for a bit, he smiled at Amanda. OK Olivia smiled to herself, if you're sure. Yeah I am, I'll call by about 10 for him is that OK? Unless you need me earlier. No that's perfect I've taken a few personal hours in the morning, so even leave it until 11 and then I can be in work for 11.30. She said hey I was glad, cause I was confused as to how they appeared in your house when I'd spent the night before there. He laughed and said, well it was worth it. She kissed him and said, yeah it was. So, what are our plans for tomorrow then and he kissed her. Aw I don't know, let's see how we feel tomorrow and decide from there. The rest of the night was spent cuddling on the couch, kisses, stroking each other and making love.
