Chapter 24

Friday

Callie's POV

Callie rolled over as she was awoken by the sun filling up her bedroom. As she rolled over, she was met with a warm body still sleeping next to her. She couldn't help but smile. She had known Arizona Robbins for about 2 weeks now and after all they had gone through and all they had done; this was the first time she was able to comfortably wake up next to the blonde. As Callie looked at her girlfriend, she couldn't help but think how lucky she was. Yeah, last night had been really tough but the way they communicated and navigated it together was better than she could have ever expected. Callie gently brushed blond hair out of the perfect sun kissed face next to her. She couldn't help but chuckle as the blonde's nose scrunched up at her action. Looking at the clock on her bedside table, Callie realized it was 8am. She knew she should wake the sleeping beauty next to her, but part of her didn't have the heart to do it. They had planned on walking into The Calliope together today to meet the media. Arizona had a 10am practice round with Tim and she knew how Arizona was if she didn't get a good breakfast in the morning. Hangry was a word that could very easily describe Arizona Robbins if you did not feed her shortly after waking up. How the blonde was so tiny, she had no idea.

Callie took her hand and started gently rubbing it up and down Arizona's back. She leaned in and whispered, "wake up pretty lady". The grunt she was met with made her laugh out loud. It was like trying to wake up a sleepy Sofia. Don't get her wrong, Callie LOVED her sleep. However, being a single mother made her much easier to wake up.

Deciding to take it up a notch, Callie began laying wet kisses down the blonde's back. Once she got to the dimples right above her girlfriend's perfect ass, she made her way back up the pale back. She finally felt Arizona begin to stir.

"Calliopeeee. Too early." Arizona groaned.

"Arizona it is 8 in the morning. It is time to wake up." Callie joked. She began kissing Arizona's shoulder and up to her neck before nibbling at the blonde's ear lobe. "We have an hour before we need to leave. I was hoping we could make the most of our time alone."

That seemed to do the trick. Before Callie could blink, she was now the one under Arizona.

"Well why didn't you lead with that." Arizona joked. She leaned down and kissed Callie passionately. Callie moaned into the kiss grabbing Arizona's hips bringing them down so their cores met. The moan that left Arizona's mouth spurred Callie on. "Well. I wasn't sure if you were a morning sex kind of person." Callie joked between kisses.

"Calliope. With you. I am an anytime sex person." Arizona said. She grabbed the hem of Callie's shirt and tugged it over her head. Both were now clad in only their sleep shorts. Arizona began to kiss down Callie's body stopping to worship the brunette's chest. Callie tangled her right hand in her favorite blonde hair and arched her back. "Yes. Arizona." She moaned.

As Callie's head leaned back into the pillow, she felt Arizona's magical mouth work its way further south where Callie needed it most. She felt Arizona's strong hands remove her shorts in one quick motion.

Before she even had time to take a breath, she was met with a skilled tongue that took a long languid lick of Callie's slit. As Callie moaned and pulled Arizona's hair, she heard her favorite sound. Arizona's POV

Being woken up by Calliope Torres was something that Arizona could get use to. Being woken up by Calliope Torres this way was something she could become addicted too. Arizona had been moments away from bringing her brunette beauty to a show stopping orgasm when Callie pulled at her hair indicating for her to come up. While she was confused, she knew that Callie was a lover that enjoyed coming together. Normally Arizona did not care either way, as long as she got off. But Callie was different. She looked directly into the brunette's eyes and said the words she hadn't uttered to any other woman in years. "I love you, Calliope."

The stunned brown eyes that met her blue made her stomach flip. Shit. Was this too fast? Did she just ruin everything? Before she could say anything else, she heard Callie whisper. "You do?".

"Yeah, I really do. I know it is fast, but I have never felt this before Callie. I love you and I am so grateful to have met you." Arizona spoke with 100% sincerity.

Callie smiled back at the blonde. "I love you too, Arizona. I was afraid I would freak you out if I said it too soon, but I really do." Callie leaned forward and kissed Arizona with so much love and passion it made the blonde's head spin.

Callie's POV

Callie was sitting in her Range Rover waiting for her beautiful girlfriend to get her butt out of the house. After their incredible morning they had decided to drive in together. It was 9:30 and already the couple had enjoyed a very satisfying shower, Callie had made Arizona breakfast to avoid the hangry version of her girlfriend, and they had both dressed to start the day. It all felt very domestic and it made Callie's heart flutter. Callie was always the first to say I love you so when Arizona uttered those 3 words that Callie had been sure of the night before, she was ecstatic. They still had so much to figure out, but Callie had a girlfriend who loved her, and she loved back. She was on cloud 9.

As she watched Arizona basically bounce to the passenger's side door in the most childlike manner, she remembered that she needed to have a conversation with Sofia today. She needed to tell her that Arizona was her girlfriend. While she knew Sofia would be happy, it still needed to be done.

Arizona opened the door and hopped into the passenger's seat she. "About time. I know you are a professional athlete and all but jeeze. You move slow." Callie joked. Arizona just rolled her eyes.

"Listen. I am about to be photographed with the stunning Calliope Torres. I needed to make sure I look good."

As they drove the 15 minutes to The Calliope, they both felt the nerves set in as they saw the media vans sitting in front of the entrance. Callie could see the security she had in place waiting for them. She texted Mark to let him know they would be walking up. Once she received confirmation she looked over at Arizona.

"Are you sure about this?" she questioned.

Arizona grabbed Callie's hand and looked her in the eye. "I have never been so sure about anything babe. Lets go."

With a quick peck, they both got out of the car. Arizona grasped Callie's hand tightly and walked towards the front. There were cameras flashing and questions flying. Callie's security was doing a great job of making sure no one got too close. As Arizona pulled Callie in closer, she couldn't help the smile that graced her face. This wonderful beautiful woman was letting the world know Callie was hers.

As they walked past the press into the hotel Callie knew they had to part ways. However, it didn't make it any less painful. The last 12 hours had been crazy. From fighting, to Eric calling, to their pure love making and confessions of love for one another. Callie couldn't stand the idea of not seeing her blonde for the rest of the day. As Arizona pulled Callie towards the elevator to get some privacy, she could tell the blonde was nervous about something. Her mind automatically went to the worst, Arizona regretted making their relationship public. This was all too much too fast for her. As Callie was spiraling, she barley heard the question Arizona asked.

"Calliope? Did you hear me?" the blonde questioned.

"No. Sorry. I zoned out there for a minute." Callie honestly replied.

"I asked if you would, um, want to have dinner with my family and I tonight? They are a bit much, but I would really like for you to meet them." She looked up into Arizona's ocean blue eyes and noticed how nervous her blonde was. Clearly Callie was terrible at reading this situation. She needed to stop jumping to conclusions about Arizona running off.

"I would love nothing more than to join you and your family for dinner." Callie responded. Leaning into kiss Arizona before having to rush off to deal with the leak situation. "Text me the details okay? Have a good practice round and I will see you tonight." As Callie watched Arizona head to the elevator, she couldn't help but smile. She loved that woman and she was sure that at this point, the whole world knew she was hers.

Moving into the offices Callie sat down and exhaled. She knew the day was going to be insane. Between briefing security, the final rounds starting tomorrow, and the whole leak situation her plate was full. She texted Aria to ask if she could meet Sofia for lunch so they could have the Arizona conversation. As soon as Aria texted her back to confirm the details Mark walked in.

He waved Callie over towards the conference room.

"Hey Cal. So, I was up all night reviewing the schedule and I am a little confused. There is only one person who was working the day of the date and the day of the interview. I pulled all the security footage, specifically all of it around the media tent and looked into our phone records." Mark rambled.

"Slow down Sloan. I appreciate the effort here. I assume it was one of the new hires. I know we had to hire some people we were iffy about because of The Race. So just let me know the name and I will handle the firing and aftermath. This is already so much more than I expected."

"Cal, I need you to listen. The footage leak was Julie…." Callie just stood there. She didn't know what to say. Julie was one of their longest tenured employees. She ran the front desk. Why? Why on Earth would she leak that?

"I-I don't understand. Julie has been with us forever. What the hell?! What else did you see?" Callie was yelling at this point.

"I saw her and O'Malley cuddling pretty closely over the last two days. Not sure if there is a connection there, but it is possible." Mark speculated.

"When does she work next?" Callie snapped. The Torres Company took great care of their employees. Julie was very well taken care of. To say Callie was blindsided was an understatement.

"She should be here at about noon. Are you sure you don't want me to handle this Torres? I know you are pissed so it may be better if I talk to her…." Mark cautiously asked.

"I think you should be in the room, but I will be doing the talking. Thanks Mark, I really appreciate you digging into this for me." Callie gave Mark a hug and exited the room. She would do lunch with Sof at 11 and then meet with Julie and Mark after. She needed some love from Sofia to calm her down.

Arizona's POV

6 holes into the practice round with Tim and Arizona could feel him staring at her.

"Just ask whatever it is you would like to ask Timothy."

Looking like he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar, Tim just smirked. "So, you and Callie are 'public' now?" He asked.

"Yup. The interview definitely accelerated things, but I am good with it. She is amazing Tim. I actually invited her to family dinner tonight. I want you all to meet her."

"Wow…. the ultimate womanizer settles down. That is quite the plot twist." Tim joked.

"Coming from the guy who I saw looking at rings on his phone…."

Tim froze. He looked like a deer in the headlights. "W-what?".

"Oh Timothy. I see everything. Seriously though. Rings? You guys just started dating a week ago. You know I love Teds, but it seems a little, I don't know…fast?" Arizona knew she had to tread lightly. Tim was not a fan of being questioned.

To Arizona's surprise he calmly replied. "Arizona. I have loved Teddy for years. I am not proposing tomorrow or next month, but she is it for me."

"Well you know you have my support. I love you guys and I think you are good together. Just keep the mushy stuff to yourself." She joked.

"On a more serious note. Do you know who leaked all that info about you and Callie? Like the security footage then her name. Where the hell did that come from?" Tim was a very protective big brother. As they walked to the 7th hole Arizona hesitated whether or not to give him all the info. She was very short on the phone the night before but she kind of expected the question.

"I will tell you, but I need you to keep your head in the game and not do anything stupid…. deal?"

"Deal." Tim promptly agreed.

"The name was Burke and O'Malley. I guess George had asked Callie out a few times the last few weeks and she shut him down. They somehow found out about us and leaked her name. The footage on the other hand, no clue. Callie is looking into that part of it since it came from her hotel." Arizona watched as Tim tried his best to control his anger. Breaking through the golf scene was something Arizona and Tim talked about often. He knew how much she struggled to be accepted so it made him that much more defensive. Arizona loved him but she needed her caddy on his A game this weekend. Not trying to keep himself from decking two of the golfers in the finals.

"Tim…I need you to not freak out about this okay? This weekend is what we have been working for. Trust me I am pissed too. But the best way to get them back is to kick their asses on the green, okay?"

He took a deep breath, grabbed her driver and silently handed it to her. "Well…better get practicing then, sis." He winked at her and that was all she needed. He would behave.

"So…inviting the girl to family dinner." He joked.

"Yeah. Not sure what I was thinking but I love her. So, she is going to have to see the Robbins craziness sooner or, later right?" Arizona squared her shoulders and drove the ball straight down the green. Looking over at Tim she was met with the blank stare she expected.

"Yes Timothy, I said I love her. I told her as well. Let's move on." They both chuckled and walked towards the ball Arizona had just perfectly driven down the fairway. She was feeling good. She sent a quick text to Callie to check in and one to her mom to let her know Callie would be joining them for dinner.

As the afternoon progressed Arizona and Tim made all the modifications and notes necessary to navigate the now pretty saturated course. It complicated things, but the fact she was one of only 2 golfers out practicing gave her a bit of confidence. This was not the same course she had been golfing on all week. Unless the others came out and saw that for themselves, it was going to be an interesting weekend for everyone. Making a mental note to chat about it with Alex, she finished up the practice round and headed back inside. Mentally preparing herself for the fact Callie would be meeting her parents tonight.
