He reached Olivia's house at just after 11. She opened the door and said, hey stranger, everything OK? Yeah sorry I'm late, I had to stop off and get my car as there's no car seat in Amanda's. She looked at him and he smiled, hey I know you know about me and Rollins. She smiled well I know you know about me and Barba. He smiled yeah. Good, so the 4 of us know about each other. Let's keep it that way for another while before we make our announcements. Yep I'm happy with that arrangement he chuckled. She smiled, and said, good. She looked at him as he lifted Noah up into his arms "Hola pequeño, te extrañé" he said. Aww he's missed you too Nick she said. He looked at her with a big grin, she smiled and he said, OK what do you wanna know? She said nothing, Liv…. OK she said, I just want to know that you're happy, are you happy with Rollins? He looked at her and grinned, yes Liv, I am. I am very happy with her. In fact I don't recall being as happy before with anyone. Even Maria? she asked shocked. Yes Liv, even Maria. I've never been as happy as I am right now with Rollins. And I can't imagine ever being happy with anyone else. God you've got it bad Amaro she said, he smiled and laughed, yeah I do. I just hope she feels the same. Ih I think I can say she does, you've nothing to worry about there, Liv replied. Good, he replied. So what's your plan for today? she asked, well I've to call by the house to drop my bags off he said, you haven't been home yet she asked? Well I've been staying at Amanda's. She noticed he said he hadn't been HOME, he said house. And she smiled. But Rollins suggested we take him out somewhere for the day maybe we'll go do some sales shopping, go to the park or something. Hey, we'll just see what the day brings. OK she said, well I finish at 6 so if you need to drop him off before then let me know and I'll call Lucy, she said she can take him after 2pm if I need her. Nah, I think we'll be OK he said, if you are running late just give either of us a ring. Ok she said. They said their goodbyes and Nick took him to the car. He drove to Amanda's and parked in her garage. Noah had fallen asleep so he left him in the car so he could see him through the side door, and went into the house. Hey she said, where's Noah? He's in my car asleep he said, I had to stop and pick my car up as I realised that you don't have a baby seat in yours he said as he kissed her cheek. Damn I never thought about that, she said. Yeah thankfully I did so was able to stop off. Ok she said, so your bags are ready to go into the car, and I've got my bag ready to go, so let's get you home. He smiled and his stomach dropped. Hey, he grabbed her into a hug, looked into her eyes and said you mean my house? She looked at him and said Ok home, your house what does it matter? He said because it's not home if you're not with me, it's just a house. I've been home for the past 2 days with you. Her heart melted, she smiled and said aww, and she kissed him passionately. As they came up for air He said just something else I've realised these past few days, and it has got me thinking about things. She stood back, should I be worried? He smiled and kissed her, not at all my love, nothing at all to worry about. He hit her on the bum and said, right Ok let's get going before the little guy wakes up.
They drove over to his house and walked inside. Noah had woken up in the car, so he went round and lifted him out then followed Amanda into the house. When he walked in, he smiled, looked around and said to himself yep I'm making the right decision. Noah fidgeted to get down so he could wander around. He sat him down and went back out to the car to get the bags in. Amanda asked him if he wanted some tea. Yes please he said. He carried the bags into his bedroom and dumped them on the bed. He walked back out and said, hey, you fancy staying here tonight? She looked at him and said, yeah, I assumed we were actually. He smiled and replied OK. He then called her into the bedroom and said by the way, you can hang your clothes up in that wardrobe, and there's a chest of drawers there for you too if you need them. She looked at him and said, well they've been empty for near 2 years now, I don't need as much clothes as women apparently need she playfully hit him and said, thanks. She went back out to make tea and he heard her talking to Noah. He put a few of his things away and then decided to leave it till later. He walked back out and walked over behind Amanda, put his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. Noah was trying to talk, and Amanda was talking back to him. She leaned back into him and he thought, this is nice, I can see us doing this with our own babies in the future. He smiled. He felt her hand on his cheek, hey day dreamer, you OK there? Yeah he replied, I'm just enjoying this moment. She looked and said, hey Amaro we've not been together 2 weeks yet, slow your daydreams down. He looked at her and she said, although don't get me wrong, this….. is nice. And she smiled at him. He gave her a big grin and said, sorry baby, I'm getting carried away with my thoughts, and she kissed him and said, don't worry babe, who knows what's ahead for us. She kissed him again and Noah started to protest at the lack off attention. Hey little man she said and picked him up, what's wrong, we not giving you enough attention? He giggled and tried to clap his hands. Aww she said and hugged him, Nick walked over to her again, put his arms around her and kissed Noah's head, then kissed her lips. I'm not gonna lie Rollins, but you suit that. She looked and said, yeah? He nodded and smiled his sexy smile as she said Well not just yet Amaro. I wanna have some more fun 1st and she raised her eyebrows. He kissed her again and said right where are we going? She said, well what about lunch 1st then we can go to the mall, or the park. Sure he said, right little guy lets get you into the car again, Amanda handed Noah to Nick and put the cups into the dishwasher. She then joined them in the car. They headed to lunch and put Noah into the highchair. Amanda then sat down as Nick strapped him in and she sighed, Jeez I didn't realise how much crap is needed for one tiny person just to sit down for food. Nick laughed and said, yeah I'll be honest I'd forgotten how much you need. She looked at him and said, this is the first time I've taken him out like this. Usually I'm at Liv's or the house with him, and I only need a pram if I take him for a walk. But I'm getting flashbacks of Zara being a baby and it's hitting me now he laughed. They sat and ate their meal, Noah taking most of their attention, except from when he was eating. Amanda was enjoying this new experience. She'd never done this before but couldn't imagine doing it with anyone else but Nick. She smiled, and he looked at her, what you thinking about mi cariño? Nothing she said, just…. This is nice, and she shyly smiled. He smiled back took her hand and said, yeah it is. Amanda went up to the counter to pay the bill while Nick got Noah's coat on again. When she returned, he had just zipped him up and he said Ok you take him while I go get the pram. They left and Nick went back to the car. A few minutes later they were heading to the mall. Nick pushing the pram with one hand and his other arm around Amanda's waist. They walked around a few of the shops, Amanda picking up a few bits. Nick saw a coat that he liked on sale but decided not to buy it, so while he was away outside to wait with Noah, Amanda picked it up again, and bought it for him. When she walked back out she saw Nick looking in the window of an Estate agents, She walked up to him and he didn't realise she was there. Hey, what you looking at? He startled and said, oh nothing just looking at the houses he said. Well yeah I see that, but why? Oh just thinking he said. He kissed her temple and smiled. Ok where next? They walked by a baby store and Nick said, you know what, lets go in and have a look around their sale, he has nearly grown out of the spare clothes I have for him at the house, so I might be able to pick a few bits up. They walked in Amanda pushing the pram this time, Nick with his hand on top of hers. A sales assistant walked up to them and said aww your little boy is so cute, Noah was finally sleeping after putting up a fight, she bent down for a closer look and asked how old he was. Amanda blushed and Nick laughed, oh no, he's not ours he said, we're just looking after him today. We're his godparents, the lady was embarrassed and oh goodness I'm so sorry, you just look like a perfect family, sorry and she rushed off. Amanda and Nicked looked at each other and laughed, ok then, that wasn't awkward at all Amanda said, and he put his arm around her waist again and said, yep, not at all, and smiled. They looked around and Amanda picked out a few outfits for Noah to keep at Nick's house. He then came across a car seat on sale, he called her over and said, how would you feel if I said we need one for your car. She looked at him and said, well yeah, I guess so, especially as I've told Liv I'll mind him if she needs me to, and if we're going to be spending time together it would be easier instead of worrying about changing cars. He smiled and kissed her temple. My thinking exactly mi cariño. OK but after here we head back to the car, as at this rate we'll have no room left. He said yep, good idea. Purchases made they walked back to the car, Amanda pushing Noah, and Nick carrying the car seat. They packed up, transferred a still sleeping Noah from the car to the seat and they headed off towards the park. Noah had woken up again and when they arrived, they took the pram out, but Nick carried Noah in his arms. Amanda pushed the empty pram. Once there, Nick put Noah down so he could walk, they were walking in front of her, so she took out her phone and took some photos. Then she walked in front of them and took some more photos. Her heart was melting at the scene in front of her. She smiled. Nick picked Noah up and walked over to her, hey mi cariño what's got you smiling? Just, watching you 2 it's adorable. He put his arm around her and kissed her lips. Noah started getting grouchy and Amanda said Ok you can have a kiss too little guy. He then reached his arms out wanting to go to her, so they swapped. Amanda carried him for a bit, Noah babbling away to her and pointing out things, and then she put him down to walk. Nick smiled behind them and took some photos. He stood just watching Amanda with him and he felt a familiar feeling in his jeans. He then watched as she knelt down beside Noah and was talking to him and pointing to the ducks, and Noah was so engaged with her. He walked up beside them and took some more photos, knelt down and took a close up. He then put his arm around them both and took a selfie of the 3 of them. A lady came up beside them and said, would you like me to take a photo of you guys, Nick said please that would be great, so they turned around and he handed her his phone. She took a photo of them kneeling down, and then said stand up and we'll get another one of you. They stood up and Amanda lifted Noah up into her arms. Nick put his arm around her, and the lady took another photo. She handed the phone back to Nick and they thanked her, she said no worries, that's a beautiful family photo you have there now, she wished them a happy new year and walked off. Amanda looked at him and laughed, let's see, so he opened up the app and they looked. Ok Amanda said, I will admit it's a lovely photo. He smiled and kissed her head, maybe one day she will be right about the family photo though, and Amanda laughed, yeah maybe she smiled. They put Noah into his pram and walked around the park hand in hand, Amanda pushed the pram then they sat down for a hot chocolate, then Nick pushed the pram while holding Amanda in his other arm, back to the car. They drove back to his house and put Noah down to sleep in the spare bedroom.
