1997

"Mitsuki-nee, let's spar together!"

Her sister only smiled softly and complied.

She lost again. Mitsuki chuckled as she saw her pout. She took a piece of paper from the side table and wrote something, making her curious.

"What are you making, Tsuki-nee?" Young Miyuki asked.

"A paper plane," Mitsuki answered, folding the paper and flew it to the gardens.

"What did you write on it?"

"A wish. I hope it'll come true." Mitsuki softly smiled.

"I want to write a wish too!" Miyuki declared, and took a piece of paper. "Don't look! I want to write my own wishes."

Mitsuki chuckled and teached her how to fold the paper plane.

"Now just fly it and hopefully it will come true!"

Miyuki did so and saw her plane land much further than her sister's did.

"I wished that I could spar against you again, nee-san. What did you wish for?"

"I wished that you would be happy if your wish comes true." Mitsuki replied cheekily.

"Mou... Let's spar again then!"

2005

"Nee-san, let's spar again! I wont lose this time!" Miyuki challenged again, her back to her sister as she drank from the water bottle.

Thump!

"Nee-san...?" Miyuki called out in a whisper as the loud noise was heard. She quickly turned around and her eyes widened.

"Nee-san!" She quickly went over to her fallen body in the dojo's floor. Her sister was not moving.

"Nee-san! Wake up!"

Mitsuki's funeral just happened and as it was finished, her sister's trusted friend, a girl with striking red hair named Aya handed her a letter, written by her sister in her last moments. Aya was wearing the purple outfit of the Tsukigumi that Mitsuki was the leader of and her face was sullen.

A lot of members of Mitsuki's Tsukigumi came and paid respect to their leader who passed away. But when Aya gave the letter to her... All of them turned to Miyuki and bowed deeply as Aya said,

"I'm sorry for your loss, Miyuki-sama. Mitsuki hime-sama was a wonderful leader of the Tsukigumi and she had instructed to us that if something would ever happen to her, you would inherit the Tsukigumi."

Miyuki gasped. Her sister was leaving the Tsukigumi with her?! She's not even qualified!

"Everything is written on the letter I gave you, and we would welcome you with open arms if you decide to lead us--"

Surprised and anxious, Miyuki ran until she ended up on top of a bridge, before Aya even finished her sentence. The words 'death', 'lead', 'Mitsuki', and the 'Tsukigumi' kept swirling inside of her head. The sun was already going down by then and Miyuki leaned on the railing.

With a heavy heart she read the three-page letter Mitsuki left her and cried softly. From the way that she wrote it, Mitsuki must have known for a while that she was going to die anytime soon.

I love you, Miyuki.

Was the last line on the letter. It was the only line on the last page as well. Taking out her pen on her pocket that she brings everywhere in habit, she decided. Tears fell as she wrote her wishes on top of a crumpled paper. With shaky hands, she wrote,

I hope she'll be happy in heaven

and forgive me for what I've done.

I don't deserve everything

that you have given me.

I love you too.

With that, Miyuki folded the paper into a paper plane just like her sister taught her years ago. She held it with her right hand and took out a half moon shaped necklace from her neck.

Mitsuki had gotten the necklace for them years ago. The two necklaces, if combined, created a full moon. Miyuki liked to beg her sister to connect them together when she was younger. Mitsuki would comply with a smile fondly.

She would never do it again since Mitsuki got buried along with the necklace.

With a sob, Miyuki climbed the railing of the bridge and stood tall. The wind blew her short hair into frenzy. She wiped the tears away and with a heavy heart, flew the paper plane.

She looked up to the sky to see the moon's reflection starting to take shape and held her necklace in her fingers and softly kissed it. She closed her eyes as she enjoyed the wind blowing on her face.

The paper plane landed a few feet away from a walking pedestrian. He was carrying a plastic bag full of snacks and was about to meet his friend when the sight of a paper plane caught his interest.

He picked it up with a smile and shook his head as he was reminded of his dream. He noticed that there was writings inside and got curious. He opened the folded paper, eyes wide, on what he tought was a 'good bye' letter.

He quickly turned around to search for who the paper plane might belong to in worry. His eyes landed immediately to a short haired girl standing on top of the bridge's railing looking like she was just about to jump.

Quickly dropping his plastic bag, he quickly ran to the top of the bridge. The paper plane was crumpled in his hand as he ran. His heart rate quickened as he climbed the steep hill just meters away from the bridge.

When he reached the top, he quickly shouted,

"DON'T JUMP!"

Shocked, the girl turned around to look at the guy, but tripped.

Time felt like it went slowly as she fell backwards to the river, and all that she could see last were panicked, blue eyes and a hand reaching out from above.

And then it was black.

When Miyuki stirred, she tought she was going to feel pain and be wet from the river water. Surprisingly she was comfortable in what seemed to be a... Bed?

She must have been in the hospital then! She's not dead.

She tried moving her body, but it felt heavy. Like something... Was on top of her.

Braving her toughts, she slowly opened her eyes and adjusted to the soft lights.

She confirmed her suspicions that she was on a bed, but the sight on top of her made her scream.

Lips of a half naked man was just inches away from hers.

He quickly rolled away to the side as he was surprised at the sudden scream.

"Ow, Yuki! What the hell was that for?" He whined and closed his ears.

Miyuki's breathing was heavy. She looked down on her body and noticed that she was half naked too in her underwear that looked... Pretty saucy. She questioned why her breasts seemed bigger and body looked curvier.

Her eyes widened as she noticed that she was actually in a freaking love hotel, and the guy who was on top of her seemed to be someone who knows her. But she didn't know him. She quickly pulled the sheets up to cover her body and analyzed the confused guy.

Miyuki had never seen the guy before. He had black undercut hair. His bangs framed his handsome face prettily. He also had an earring on his left ear.

"W-Who are you?!" Miyuki asked in horror.

"Is this a joke?" He sighed. Miyuki simply shook her head and went closer to the headboard of the bed.

"No! It's not!" She turned to the bedside table and took the fancy looking phone that looked way out of 2005. She found a full body mirror on the wall and saw her reflection.

Why is her hair long?!

She had a bad feeling about this.

She looked into the phone and looked at the date.

"No, no, this can't be happening," She tought to herself her eyes widened, "I know granny said we have a little bit of supernatural genes but what the hell?!"

The guy ruffled his bangs with a sigh.

"I should remind you then," He grunted and scooted closer to her again, claiming her wrists. Miyuki gasped as his blue eyes searched into hers intensely.

Miyuki dropped the phone in shock and slid back to the bed as he towered over her. The grasp on her wrist softly opened and his palms met hers, fingers intertwined with each other.

He gave her his sweet, handsome smile, and said his words so softly that her heartbeat quickened,

"Mochizuki Miyuki..." Her name never sounded so sweet.

"I am Matsuno Chifuyu..." He introduced himself as he leaned closer to her lips.

"...Sometimes you call me Fuyu-kun or Mafuyu... Or even just my name Chifuyu..." He chukled to himself. Miyuki's face got even redder as he leaned even closer.

"...And I am your boyfriend." He grinned as his lips met hers.

"WHY AM I IN 2017?!?!"
