A/N
Forgot to mention that they're just going to be aged up a little bit.
2005 - 17 (High School)
2017 - 29
The kiss took her breath away. It was hot and... Wet. In the seventeen years of her life, she had never been kissed this way... No, never even kissed before. This was entirely new to her.
The guy... Chifuyu, seemed to really know her weak spots.
Miyuki eventually gave in and let out a noise that sounded like a moan. She froze. Feeling her being unresponsive, Chifuyu stopped and leaned back to see her flushed face.
Miyuki was sure she was red on her face like a tomato, based on the way Chifuyu was looking at her with a cheeky smirk. Her hands quickly covered her red face in terror.
"You're so cute," He cooed, softly prying her hands away from her face. Miyuki gulped.
"U-uh... Chifuyu-kun?" She asked shyly.
"What is it? Do you want something to eat? Are you hungry?" He asked softly, attentive. Miyuki looked away.
"Can we... Stop this?" She softly whispered.
She could feel him froze from on top of her. His charming smile turned into a cold frown.
"You want to break up with me?" He asked bluntly.
Miyuki gasped.
"N-No!" She quickly denied. If this were truly the future and she was happy or in love enough to let this man... Chifuyu, kiss her like the world depended on it then she's not going to ruin their... Our relationship!
She needed to fix this.
"I-I mean, can we do this on some other night?" She hated the way she stuttered. Miyuki always seemed to be brave and fearless and even likes to initiate fights but romance was truly not her forte.
"Are you not in the mood? I thought you liked being kissed that way," Chifuyu grumbled as he pinched her cheek.
"I do, but..." She sighed, "Can we just... Do something else?" She was not ready!
"Like what?" He crossed his arms. Miyuki quickly scanned the room to find something that can calm his disappointment.
"Watch TV?" She suggested. Chifuyu only stared at her for a while then sighed, ruffling his hair again and falling off to her side.
"Fine," He grumbled, turning the TV on.
Miyuki let out a breath.
"It's been quite a while since we have time for each other and now all you want is to watch TV?" He pouted and crossed his arms as he leaned on the pillow propped to the headboard.
Future Miyuki must've been very busy.
Miyuki felt bad and was reminded of the good old times where she and her sister used to cuddle and watch TV together. Sadness quickly took over and Miyuki sighed.
Looking to a sulking Chifuyu on her right made her tear up a little bit.
Chifuyu's head instantly snapped to her as he noticed her hic, and he quickly straightened up and turned her softly to him.
"Are you crying?" He asked as he wiped her tears away. Blue eyes met light brown in worry. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to--"
"No!" She denied again, "It's not you, it's me..."
Chifuyu sighed and put a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Were you reminded of your sister again?" He asked softly.
Miyuki's head instantly looked up to him.
"H-How'd you know?" She stuttered.
Chifuyu gave her a sad smile and patted her head softly.
"It's been a few days since her death anniversary, Yuki..." He explained, "I've been with you long enough to know how you feel around this date."
Chifuyu then recounted his memories.
"You've always told me how you loved your sister dearly and regret some things. From the stories I've heard, she must have been an amazing woman to raise you this way. I wish I met her before. She seemed like a nice person." He threw a grin.
Miyuki searched his eyes and all that she could see was genuine sympathy. If you looked closely, she could feel a little bit of pain in them. He looked like he had lost someone of his own.
"You have always cheered me up and shared a portion of peyoung with me when it was Baji-san's death anniversary." He said sadly. It must have been a special friend that he lost.
"So just let it all out, I'm here." He pulled her into a hug.
Miyuki didn't know she needed the comfort. She softly cried into his arms and hugged him back. Chifuyu slowly leaned back into the pillows on the headboard and took Miyuki with him, not breaking the hug. He patted her hair and soothed her with encouraging words that warmed her heart in times of need.
Just how did Miyuki found someone like him?
After calming down, Miyuki turned to Chifuyu in curiosity.
"Do you remember how we met, Chifuyu-kun?" She asked, hoping she could get answers on how they knew each other.
"Hmm... We passed by each other a lot when we were around seventeen. But We didn't really get to know each other since three years ago." He recounted.
"It's been three years?" She gasped, hoping that he would elaborate.
"Believe it or not, we were only introduced when Toman and the Tsukigumi decided to finally merge." He said while playing with some of her hair.
Toman?
"I was assigned to be your assistant and I drived you around while you do work assigned by Hanma or Kisaki." He said the two names in spite.
"Hanma and Kisaki..." She trailed off, hoping that he would continue again.
"Let's not ruin the mood and talk about them." He scowled. Miyuki nodded in defeat. She wont be getting answers anytime soon.
Chifuyu made himself comfortable as he laid down the bed then patted the pillow next to him before motioning for Miyuki to join him.
With a gulp, Miyuki followed suit and laid next to his side. Chifuyu's arms slowly snaked around her waist, and Miyuki found herself being in an unusual comfort. She leaned her head on his shoulders and closed her eyes.
"Good night," Chifuyu turned to her and kissed her forehead softly.
"Good night..." She softly whispered back, already tired with the events of today.
She only hoped this was a dream.
Miyuki woke up with Chifuyu's arm around her waist. He groaned saying that it was too early for her to be awake and went back to sleep.
Miyuki gently tried to reach for her supposedly fallen phone. She checked that she still have 50 percent of battery and sighed as she saw the date.
It was still 2017.
She turned into the mirror and analyzed her face.
She was really pretty, not gonna lie. 2005 Miyuki would never look as womanly as this since she was a bit of a tomboy. Her sister was more feminime.
The password on her phone was surprisingly simple for her to crack, it was her sister's birthday.
She searched through her phone and found several couple-like pictures between her and Chifuyu. They were truly a couple! It dated back to two to three years ago. Both of them seemed pretty affectionate with each other.
There were several pictures of men she didn't really know as well. In those pictures, they seemed really close and formal.
One had black hair and blonde streaks. He wore round glasses and a long golden earring. He was the tallest of them all and was the closest to older Miyuki on the picture. The other have pointy eyebrows and the only hair he has was the top of his head. He wears golden, thick framed square shaped glasses. The shortest one had pinkish-blonde hair and lifeless black eyes.
If she zoomed into the picture she could see Chifuyu watching her from the back.
Who are they?
Chifuyu drove her home. Since it was near Mitsuki's death anniversary, they stayed in a hotel near their old hometown as they took care of some stuff.
Chifuyu sighed and said that their last day they planned on going to the love hotel and do stuff, but all of it were a waste now.
Miyuki tried to engage with Chifuyu to gather as much of information as she could, but sadly everytime the confersation got anywhere near Toman he would grunt and pout saying how it was their vacation and there was no need to mention their work.
When they arrived at a fancy looking apartment, Miyuki got confused as Chifuyu stared at her sadly as he reminded her to not forget to wear her ring that was on her clutch.
She did so with an innocent smile and put the ring in her left ring finger.
Chifuyu only stared at it sadly and drove away with a sigh, leaving her to fend for herself.
She thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend? Were they not living together?
She sighed.
She found her keys that thankfully had her apartment number on them and went up the lift.
Her jaw dropped as she opened her apartment in awe. It was big and nice, also seemed to be quite comfortable. But something was quite wrong.
She could feel it in her gut.
She saw another pair of shoes on the front porch in confusion. The shoes look way to big to be Chifuyu's, since she saw his earlier back in the hotel.
As she went inside in alert, a door opened.
The same guy in her pictures came out with an unnerving smile. He had dark hair and blonde highlights, wears round glasses, and looked like he was as tall as the door.
"Oh, honey, you're finally home!" He greeted with an unnerving smile.
Miyuki almost fainted then and there.
"I have a boyfriend...
AND A HUSBAND?!?!?!"
