Jaune sighed as he had finished with the grunts in the house with a bored expression on his face, compared to Miles and the other things he had to deal with, the soulless creatures of Grimm, the War Hogs and all sorts of other things he fought back in both Remnant and Dusk Island one would think that a group of hit men from a mafia would have, he didn't know, do more. If anything he felt a little worried that Rally would blame him for the damages done but to be fair it wasn't him that shot up the place. With the five unconscious bodies now tied up and thrown out, the swordsman dusted himself off and began looking around.

To say he was the center of attention was an understatement as several people both villagers and followers of the Panda Family looked at him with different degrees of shock and horror. Jaune was quiet for a second as well as he realized that his so called stealth wasn't really stealthy at all. It was only after a minute of silence that the swordsman decided to break it.

"Uh… hi?" he asked more unsure if he should say anything until several of the suited men and women pointed guns at him. "…Shit" Jaune muttered before hardening his body with Tekkai as several bullets came down on him with no effect once again. Jaune however began to grow annoyed, his unsure smile dropping into a frown as the small metal of the bullets, while not doing damage, still bothered him if only because he could still feel them.

Tekkai only hardened the body to endure the impact of blunt or sharpened forces; he still felt them to some extent. These bullets didn't necessary do much good for his aura either considering that in order to better use Tekkai without losing his aura from impact he had to practice Tekkai and the other Rokushiki without it helping him.

…This being one of them as he restricted his aura veil and allowed his body to take the onslaught of metal alone.

Covering his eyes with his arm to protect them from strays, he slightly twitched when one of the shooters aimed between the legs, much to his annoyance. Soon however the sounds of gunfire faded, Jaune looked up at the suited people with a deadpanned expression that contrasted to theirs of fear. "You guys good?" he asked annoyed as several of them took out blades and began to rush him, Jaune sighed, he wanted to use stealth and it was amazing that he hadn't alarmed more of them. With a calm expression he walked to meet the men and women who wanted his head.

As one man jumped up into the air and tried to bring his sword down upon the blond, Jaune side-stepped it with ease, extending his finger and gripping the sword by the blade with his aura now protecting his hand. "Shigan" Jaune muttered as he tried to get into the mindset of a fight, something that Miles had taught him when they would spar, stabbing the man in the arm, Jaune grinned as he yanked the man's sword from him and rolled back to avoid another swing from another man.

Jumping up into the air, Jaune grinned and jumped back midair with Gepo to land on the roof. Looking down he jumped again and landed behind the crowd of gathered criminals, the villagers having fled back to their houses to hide, that was good since now he didn't need to worry about anyone getting mixed into their battle.

"You bastard!" one of the suited men shouted as Jaune gripped the stolen blade and held it in his right hand, while his left hand's finger was extended. "Drop dead!" the man shouted as Jaune side-stepped once again and swung. The suited man fell with the blade stained red, the man's arm sliced into as the blond looked at the other charging men with a deadpanned expression.

Gripping the injured man's shirt, Jaune flung him over to the others, knocking some of them down before he turned to block another blade. Pushing back the new challenger, Jaune channeled his sword with some of his aura and swung, the man was pushed back again, this time his own blade was sliced into pieces by Jaune's own before he felt a pain in his stomach from a swift blow from the swordsman.

Jaune, happy with his work, looked to see two more challengers running, Jaune merely jumped back to gain distance before sending a Rankyaku at them, causing them both to be pushed back with slices on their torso before running after them and grabbing another sword.

"You punk!" one of them shouted as Jaune swung one of the blades to send a wave of pressurized wind at them. Smirking as they were forced back, Jaune felt something coming behind him. Twisting around, he quickly blocked another sword with his own before forcing another suited man back. As he did he jumped out of the way as the man he was fighting was shot in the torso by friendly-fire. Turning back around, Jaune frowned at the suited man taking shots at him again, a nearby window being shattered by an oncoming bullet before the blond rushed towards the gunner with Soru.

"W-what the!" the gunner shouted as Jaune sliced his gun in half with part of his hand. Turning the blade in his hand to a reverse-grip, Jaune delivered a punch to the injured man's gut, knocking him out. So far he was being careful not to kill anyone, they could survive some blood loss or a missing limb, and they were trying to kill him after all. But for now he saw probably four more. Stabbing one of his blades in the ground and walking towards the other four men, Jaune frowned as he saw them all begin to retreat.

Well at least he didn't have to deal with them.

As he pulled the blade back from the ground and began walking towards the mountain behind the village, he stopped when he noticed something on a nearby rooftop. "Cannons ready!" one of the suited women shouted as Jaune looked up to see three cannons aimed at him. "Shoot this bastard off of our island" she commanded as three cannons echoed into the village. Jaune froze before jumping back, rolling across the dirt as the smoke covered his form from the sights of the Panda Family.

They were using canons, cannons in an inhabited village when some of their own men were still in the blast radius. As the smoke cleared the woman's tone echoed through the town again. "Second round, now" she commanded as Jaune glared and brought his stolen sword up. "Aim-Fire-Ahh" the woman cried as a wave of pressurized air sliced through her cannon and nicking her side in the process. Two other cannons however fired and Jaune jumped back, hiding within the smoke before rushing at the other two weapons before another round could be fired off.

"Shit, someone get the boss!" one of the suited men shouted as one man nodded, Stolen ran to report while the others sought to hold back this strange monster.

"Fire-" one of the men began to shout before the remaining two cannons was destroyed by the same means. Jaune glaring as jumped into the air towards a nearby house before stabbing the sword in the brick building, much to their confusion.

"Rankyaku: Ran/ Rankyaku Riot" Jaune shouted as he held onto the hilt of the blade and kicked towards the suited people with several waves of Rankyaku being shot out randomly at them.

"Take cover!" one of the criminals shouted as everyone took said cover behind buildings that were damaged by the greenish waves of wind sent at them before Jaune let go of the blade and jumped onto the roof and ran closer towards the mountain. This was fun and all but he didn't have time to mess around with these guys. He needed to find Rally and Rein Zero before something happened. As he made his way back to the streets, he spotted some other suited men glaring at him.

Jaune cursed as they began to open fire.

"Why won't you just drop dead!" one of five men shooting at him shouted annoyed as Jaune was beginning to get annoyed as he effortlessly had tank the bullets that pelted him from all over… again.

"When will you realize bullets don't work, stop shooting me you assholes" Jaune shouted before he jumped up and turned his leg inward. "Rankyaku" he shouted as he landed to the ground and ran towards the remaining criminals. "Seriously, I'm kind of in a hurry here. I need to get to the mines fast… hey, you. Where the hell is that Rein Zero guy?"Jaune ask while one of the men glared at him.

"F-fuck you… you damn hobo" he said before Jaune sighed.

"I'm not a hobo" Jaune said annoyed but he supposed that he was called worse. Still, a hobo, they were really calling him a hobo? Just because he didn't shave, get a haircut or properly bathe on that island for three years, or the fact he was technically living in a rowboat in the middle of the oceans didn't make him a hobo.

Instead of letting that get to him however, he just reeled his fist back and delivered a punch to the man's face. Running deeper into the town, Jaune sighed as he hoped Rally was alright. Several suited others however looked at him in mixed fear and confusion and just what this guy was or what he wanted. Hesitantly they followed, with several of the villagers looking out their windows in thought.

Rally glared at the suited man that held her at gunpoint and lead her deeper into the caves, but despite the sound of mining echoing in the mountains filling the area she could hear the sound of her heartbeat much clearer than ever before. With each step she felt the eyes of both the prisoner miners and the guards of the executive's command looking at her, either stunned or horrified or even slightly amused at her situation.

She truly hated it as she avoided any eye contact with them. Being lead into a nearby hallway of stones, away from the workers and most of the guards, she was met with a newly made cell of metal bars where several people were huddled in with looks of either defeat or despair on their faces. As one of the guards opened the cell door, she was shoved roughly in the dark cage and landed on the ground with both a thud and a not-so-quiet insult that seemed to echo in the hall.

"Heh, enjoy your stay, once Rein is finished with that strange hobo he'll deal with you personally" Stolen said as he turned to leave while the guard nodded. While the man left, many people in the cells looked back with glares while others looked at her in pity, but it was one who ran to her side in fear and concern on his face, despite his injuries he made his way to his daughter.

"Ralls, is that you? Are you alright, Ralls?" the man said worried as Rally got up and glared at the source of the voice before her entire body froze as she saw who was addressing her.

"F-father?!" she asked with a bit of a stutter before getting up from the hard rock floor and rushing towards him with similar concern on her face. Her father was still alive and that was good, great even but one look at the bandages, still dyed red with his recent injuries covered was enough to have her gasp, silent enough to be ignored by those in the cave but loud enough for some of the cell. "Father… you're… are you…?" she asked as she tended to the injured man.

"I'm fine Rally… I'm just… ugh…" he moan while trying to be a bit more supportive with her daughter, despite the pain and the bleeding the bullets were removed and he was bandaged, a small miracle that they were allowed but he knew it was because they wanted them to be well enough to work.

"No you aren't, you're bleeding. Why are you bleeding?!" she cried out as she quickly examined the wound. One of the people with them looked away before cursing seeing her expression while looking back.

"It was Zero, he… his two guards shot him, they-" the man started before a sound of a gun echoed in the room, the guard glaring at them before turning away. Noisy fools should just stay quiet.

"Zero did this…?" Rally asked more to herself aloud than to anyone else. Looking at her father and recalling what happened with her home and her family a swell of bubbling rage began to fill her but with the guard there and unarmed she settled for walking to the closest wall and slamming her fist into the rocks, despite not doing anything to the wall. "I hope Jaune beats the hell out of him" she muttered darkly as Forx looked at her confused.

"Jaune… never heard of him before…" he admitted softly as not to be heard as Rally sighed.

"He… he arrived earlier today and is currently fighting these guys… and supposedly winning" she informed as everyone turned to face her. Her father looked at her in disbelief; someone was fighting the Panda Family and winning. Then he had a chance, they had a chance. A slow smile began to form on the injured man's face as he turned towards two other men.

"Kolten, you know the plan… we do it now" he ordered as the man known as Kolten looked at the other man in disbelief but nodded all the same. Rally was confused while her father, while weakly, slowly began to grin. "Rally, when I give you the signal I want you to get behind us, we're going to act soon" he said as Rally seemed even more confused than before. It took her a second however to realize what he meant and looked at him in her own moment of disbelief.

"Father… you can't mean-"

"Ralls, we were planning this since we were locked up here, we needed to find the perfect time for this" he informed as Rally looked at him as one of the prisoners got the guard's attention. "If Rein Zero is distracted and we have someone willing and able to fight him then he will need our help. But I want you to remain behind me and stay safe. I… we already lost your mother; I don't want to lose you as well."

Rally looked down as she saw her dad's expression, a look of painful lament formed as he choked on the last few words slightly, reliving the loss of his wife. Rally however soon frowned as she shook her head. Her father was injured, and if he tried to fight he would probably die. She didn't want to lose him as well, thinking such things made her rage slowly disappear while her eyes began to sting as her mind played pictures and films of her father potentially getting shot or worse.

Her mother was stronger than he was; she was a pirate who attempted the Grand Line as a captain, something she herself wanted to do one day. It was only after she failed due to betrayal that she was forced to return. Rally would wonder what would happen if she was still here with them.

'Mother… I know you told me stories on your adventures at sea… but you also told me that we never give up on our dreams, that's what it means to be free… right?' she mentally asked as Forx and Kolten joined in distracting the guard, another man approached the lock with what seemed to be a part of a mining pick. Stabbing the sharp point into the hole of the lock, he tried to break it to open the door. "…I decided, mother. I'll fight like you have, I have to now. Just please don't hate us if we meet too soon on the other end."

She closed her eyes and took a calming breath as the door was broken and suddenly the prisoners rushed at the now confused and horrified suited man. For many of them it was a gamble as they were more or less ready to die. But for one Laval D. Ralls it was just a means to fight for their freedom.

Running out of the door and seeing the now unconscious guard's sword on the ground she grabbed it and followed the miners into battle and ready to put her life on the line. She wouldn't die however, not until she fulfilled her promise, her dream.

She would sail to the Grand Line and make a name for herself with her own crew, and when she did she would show them the true strength of the name Laval.

"T-the prisoners got out!" one man shouted as several gunshots were echoed in the cave but the roars of the prisoners echoed on in the caverns and Rally's own roars of battle would soon join them.

"Jaune… hold on, once we get out then we'll take Zero on ourselves" she said under her breath as she ran towards a guard, the same guard, Stolen, with blade in hand and gaze focused on her first opponent.

The man shot at her, Rally brought the blade up and then down with all of her strength.

All hell then broke loose.

How many of these guys were there Jaune questioned as he defeated another twenty or so with a bit of annoyance and exhaustion, not because he was tired but because he was getting irritated at being shot at. Behind him was a small trail of unconscious and bleeding criminals he had to fight that either shot him or rushed him with swords, looking around he let out a sigh as it seemed like those were the last of them.

That was good, the village seemed to be cleaned out for now but looking at the mountain he knew there would probably be more waiting for him, and then there was that Rein Zero guy.

Walking towards the mountain again, hopefully this time uninterrupted, he was once again interrupted by yet another gunshot aimed at his head. Jaune however just let his aura take it as he was too tired to try and use his Tekkai or move out of the way.

If he was to guess he was still probably at eighty percent aura wise and instead of worrying too much about it he just turned to see who shot him this time. He frowned as he saw three men, two in suits and one in the middle with a bit more to him than the other gangsters he fought.

"Tch, so I guess guns really don't work on you, and I'm going to assume the same goes with swords and fists… oh well, I'll just have to work around that annoying part" the middle man said as his two body guards lowered their own guns aimed at him. Jaune narrowed his eyes but didn't make a move to his sword.

"Shot in the dark then, you're Rein Zero/" Jaune guessed as he crossed his arms and focused on the man, readying himself to fight if he needed to. The man smirked at that; it seems the dog at the very least knew who he was. That was good.

"Indeed, and I have to say that you my homeless friend have made quite the mess here. It was supposed to be a simple operation here but now it's just another migraine" Zero complained dramatically as if he was performing an act. It reminded him of how Ruby and the others defined Torchwick if he was honest.

"My utter condolences" Jaune said sarcastically learned from his time with Miles as Rein Zero frowned at the tone. "Though to be fair they started it" he said as he gestured towards the unconscious men and women he essentially beat the shit out of to Rein Zero's ire, "What exactly was I supposed to do, let them shoot me?" Jaune asked sarcastically as Rein Zero grinned.

"That is how guns work, we point them at you and you bleed out and die with a hole between the eyes" Zero remarked as Jaune rolled his eyes, he was already getting annoyed by the man.

"Maybe its user error on your end or your equipment is defective. Either way I don't supposed you don't mind leaving and never coming back, do you?" he asked already knowing what the reply would be.

"Now that's just rude, I'll have you know that we might have left peacefully any day now once we got orders from the boss. You know about me but you know nothing about the Panda Family, do you?"

"Not really, care to enlighten me?" Jaune asked with his arms crossed, if this guy was like Roman Torchwick he probably would want to hear himself talk.

"I would be glad to… well, if it wasn't for your sudden case of impending death coming up. What was it you said, you have my condolences?" he asked mockingly as Jaune sighed. "Still I suppose I can give you your last request. You see my little hobo acquaintance-"

"Not a hobo…" Jaune muttered annoyed as he slowly brought up a hand to cover his eyes, knowing that this would be a thing until he shaved, Rein Zero however ignored the man and continued to talk.

"The Panda Family is run by a very influential man known as Panda Bubba, and among him are us executives that go out and make sure things often get done. We go to islands, get what we need, weed out a few of the fighters and go along our merry way once all is said, done and burned to the ground half the time… like this island. Once we're done here and we get the ok do you really think anyone would miss a town in the middle of who-cares?"

"I'm sure there would be quite a few who would… the people living here for example" Jaune stated with some anger starting to build up as Rein Zero shrugged.

"Perhaps…if they live long enough, but for now I think we might as well get to the good part here. Hey, Tiny, you ready to go?" the executive asked as Jaune saw a larger man wielding a sledge hammer trudging up to him with a moan. Jaune raised an eyebrow at that before Rein Zero let out a small chuckle. "My dear friend, allow me to introduce you to my personal second in command, the warden of the mines borrowed from his duty for this special meeting. Tiny, we have a special case here, deal with him, will you?" the man asked as the larger man growled.

"…Right, okay then…" Jaune said as he saw the larger man run at him wielding his weapon in a Nora-like manner. Jaune jumped away as the large hammer fell, where he stood came split earth as the larger man, Tiny as ironically as his name actually was, looked at him with murder in his eyes. Rein Zero seemed interested, so he could do more than jump, interesting.

"Rankyaku" Jaune shouted as he delivered a strike of wind at the man who crossed his arms, despite the cut breaking the skin, the larger man seemed fine and went in again, much to Jaune's somewhat shock. The guy was the first person to stand after one of the Rokushiki techniques.

He honestly expected him to go down or it to do more damage, guess this guy was a good cut above the grunts as Miles would've referred to them all as.

Jaune was slowly smiling, feeling a bit of a challenge begin to form. Ok, if he couldn't one-shot him like the rest of them, might as well have some fun with it. Gathering his aura in his hand to help better the attack, Jaune waited while Tiny held the hammer up again and brought it down. Zero smiled as he saw the hammer connect with the swordsman's blade as Jaune grunted at the strength behind it.

Any normal man would have been crushed by the hammer that the larger man brought onto them but Jaune grinned, his aura still in his blade to block the weight of the hammer and the man wielding it. Then he grinned before swinging Saints to the side, pushing the hammer to the side as well. Continuing his assault, Jaune turned his open palm towards the larger man. "Gepo Pamu/ Palm" Jaune said as he placed his palm on the larger man's torso before pushing it into him at rapid speeds, the man stumbled backwards as he caught himself.

Rein Zero looked confused for a second before narrowing his eyes, not fully understanding what the swordsman pulled.

Jaune frowned slightly before looking at his hand. Gepo Pamu was the supposed variation of Gepo with one's hands; Miles managed to send him flying with it and did so effortlessly. Guess he had to practice it a lot more too actually perfect it and- oh shit!

Jaune rolled out of the way as he came back to the battle, now was not the time to linger in thought it was the time to kick some ass.

"You bastard!" the so called warden muttered as he brought his hammer up with a roar, Jaune however held his sword in one hand but channeled some aura into it. Tiny jumped into the air as Jaune grinned. Disappearing into air with Soru, Tiny slammed the hammer down before being blinded by the dust that came up from the strike. Jaune gave a small smile before running up to the man, Tiny barely saw the blond man bring the blade up and defend himself against it with his hammer.

Jaune roared as the man's hammer was sliced cleanly, much to everyone else's shock. Jaune however continued and swung again, delivering a blow on the distracted man's torso. Tiny roared in pain as he fell to his knees before Jaune grabbed him by the shirt and threw him into a nearby building.

As Tiny flew into the house, the damage done and the moans of pain echoed out to the remaining four men, Jaune said nothing but nodded his head at his victory, relieved that he didn't kill the man. Still that had to hurt. Looking at Rein Zero and his men, the executive looked at him wide-eyed and rightly so as his strongest man was just defeated by this strange man who appeared so suddenly.

"Your friend is down, get him to whatever ship you came here on and leave, now" Jaune said emotionlessly. A second or two passed until Rein Zero sighed and walked up to the man himself.

"I expected more from him to be honest" Zero lamented as the two bodyguards nodded until Rein Zero addressed the two men. It would be pointless to send them to fight this freak when he doubted that they would do much damage.

"You two get to the office, I'll deal with this personally" he sighed as he should have done this from the beginning. But no he was sure that his second in command could handle it. Now look at him, unconscious like all the other men. "And as for you, who exactly are you again?" he asked as he realized he never got a name. Jaune blinked as he realized that as well.

"…Jaune" he said bluntly as Zero nodded. John, a simple name for a slightly not-so-simple annoyance but oh well, he'd have to correct that annoyance. Reaching behind his back he pulled out a spear and grinned.

"Got it, well then, let's see how well you can hold up against me" he said amused as Jaune returned Saints back in its sheath with a grin. Alright, let's see indeed. "I'll show you the true power of an executive of the Panda Family. Take this, John!"

Zero ran at him while Jaune reeled his fist back. As the spear was thrust at him, Jaune quickly evaded it before grabbing it with his hand, much to Zero's shock. Pulling back was useless as Jaune didn't budge or even seemed likely to let go. Zero growled before he let go of his own weapons, reaching for his guns before Jaune dropped the spear and used Tekkai to block the bullets. As the sounds of empty clicks sounded off, Rein Zero paled slightly as he was now facing a rather annoyed Jaune Arc.

Jaune was on him nearly immediately and quickly grabbed his shoulder. Zero closed his eyes and prepared for the impact and Jaune did not disappoint. A strong punch to his face was his reward as Rein Zero was sent flying into a nearby tree.

Jaune waited for the man to get up, he didn't use any aura to amplify his strike and it wasn't like he punched him all-to-hard or anything, hell he was sure someone like Ruby could punch someone stronger than he did, granted it would be with aura behind it but still. He waited for the man to get up…

…And he waited…

…And he still waited…

…And he-

'What the heck, why isn't he getting up?' Jaune thought to himself before running up towards him. As he did he froze when he noticed the man sprawled out on the ground and cleaned up against the tree. Immediately Jaune froze and kneeled down to him, grabbing his hand and checking for a pulse.

Thankfully he found one and he let the man's hand go. That was a close one; he thought he killed him for a second. Thankfully that wasn't the case as he was thankful that he didn't overdo it by taking him out with…a… single…

Jaune looked at the unconscious man befuddled for a second as he realized what just happened. He knocked him out in one punch.

Jaune Arc, the weakest student in all of Beacon's history… just knocked out an executive of some well-renown sea mafia out in one freaking punch. A punch which had no aura, just his physical strength behind it and that shouldn't have knocked someone out. "What the hell?" Jaune muttered as he felt somewhat insulted.

"The actual hell, I was told you were some kind of monster or something, and you got knocked out in a single punch?" Jaune complained as he realized what he just did. "Rally said you executives were strong, the hammer guy was stronger than you." Jaune shook his head as he realized one of two things. Either the Panda Family was a lot weaker than he thought or he was a lot stronger than he thought.

If it was the first one then how the hell were these guys an actual threat, numbers? Maybe, but then again Rally said one of them practically took over the island by themselves, he was missing something here. Looking at the office where the two bodyguards were currently hiding in. walking towards the door, he felt something wrong before several bullets were fired at him out of desperation as Jaune sighed with his aura taking the bullets. Once the shooting stopped, Jaune crossed his arms and sighed.

"You two done…?" Jaune asked annoyed at being shot at again as he pushed the remains of the wooden door out of the way. He couldn't help but sweat-drop at what he saw. "Uh… why are you huddling in the corner?"

"S-stay away from us!" one of the men shouted as he held up a sword in a means of self-defense. Somehow the sight of the well-trained criminal hit-men cowering like frighten children seemed really off.

"I'm not going to-"

"You won't get away with this you monster, you and your strange super hobo powers" the other man shouted as Jaune said nothing, again with the hobo title, screw it he was shaving his beard off first chance he got when this was over, and taking a bath while he was at it.

"I'm not a-"

"You're going to kill us, we… we won't go down without a fight!" one of the men said as Jaune frowned.

"I'm not going to fight-"

"Stop lying with your false tones of confusion" the man accused as Jaune just slammed his fist against the wall with a glare directed at the two bodyguards.

"Will you just take your men and your boss and leave already!" Jaune shouted as they flinched at his tones. As Jaune left the building with a small twitch of his eye with heat rushing to his face at the amount of insult he had to deal with, whether it was being shot at, being called a hobo or being actually a little disappointed in what he thought was going to be an actual challenge he headed towards the mines to find Rally and hopefully save the others-until he heard something call out to the village.

"Freedom!" a new voice called out as Jaune looked up to see several people run out of the cave with weapons bared and looking like they went through one hell of a fight. "Rein Zero, it's time you learn just who you're dealing with!" one of the men shouted as an explosion echoed in the back of the cave. Soon enough Jaune noticed a woman with brown hair holding a saber in her hand and ran to the front.

"Alright, now let's go back up Jaune. He might need our help against the executive and the warden. We have to find him… wait, what?" she suddenly muttered from her war cry. Jaune stared at her clearly not expecting whatever he was currently seeing while Rally and the others were staring at him just as confused.

"Uh, what's going on?" Jaune and Rally both asked simultaneously as Rally found her voice first.

"Jaune… are you alright, w-what is going on, where is Rein Zero?" she asked as Jaune said nothing before pointing at the downed executive being taken by the two bodyguards innocently like he was a kid while everyone looked at the executive in disbelief. As the two bodyguards felt the gazes upon them, they turned to see the glares they were given. An injured Forx spoke up for the mob now armed and rather pissed at their former enslavement.

"Drive them out, put them in the cells and see how they like it!" the older man shouted as every roared in agreement. As the mob charged at them, the two bodyguards ran with their leader in their hands to escape while Jaune ran out of the way. Once they passed, he stepped back into view and sighed.

"Well… at least they're free… hate to be those guys though" Jaune muttered as he thought about the unconscious criminals that laid around the village before turning his attention to Rally who stood there waiting for some kind of answer with an injured man leaned on her for support. "…So, you got everyone out?" Jaune asked nervously a Rally nodded as the Forx took interest in this conversation.

"Yes, not like I had much of a choice… it was either I fight or spend the next few hours in a jail cell" she muttered while Jaune looked at her and nodded.

"Well at least you're alright… uh, is he alright?" Jaune asked concerned for the man next to her while Rally helped the man down to the village while walking down the small hill.

"Heh, I'm fine there, kid. Still I have to say I didn't exactly expect Zero to be down before I got a crack at that pompous bastard" Forx said as he supported himself against the building while Rally and Jaune looked at him concerned. Jaune walked over to him and channeled some of his aura into him. Forx was curious what he was going to do as he and his daughter looked at his hand beginning to glow white.

When he placed his hand on the injured man's shoulder, Forx cringed in slight pain before a feeling of relief flooded into him as he felt the pain slowly begin to fade. Rally looked on in shock as she saw the stranger she met not even hours ago begin to heal her dad.

"You're an ability user…" she muttered in disbelief as Jaune left his aura fade and took his hand off of the older man. Smiling nervously at the man, Jaune explained.

"I tried to heal what I could, I can't exactly do much without your aura unlocked" Jaune said as Forx stood up without holding himself up against the wall. He felt better sure enough, holding his hand as his body felt to have gained a second wind. Looking at the younger man, the former prisoner laughed.

"Well it helps a lot there, kid" he said with a bit of amusement while Rally looked at the two of them and slowly smiled. "So, what fruit did you eat, Paramecia or something?" Forx asked as Rally nodded her head.

"Jaune, why didn't you tell me you had an ability like that. I can actually kind of see how you actually beat Rein Zero and that warden… wait, you did beat the warden, right?" she asked as Jaune blinked and pointed towards the other building that had a hole in the wall of it. Forx whistled.

"Nice work, what did you do to do that?" he asked as Jaune shrugged uncaringly.

"I threw him into a wall" he said bluntly enough as Rally looked at him in disbelief. Forx was quiet for a second before he started to laugh, loud cheerful laughter filled the air as both Rally and Jaune looked towards the man.

"You threw him, into a house? And here I thought my wife was one hell of a fighter… I can see why Rally thinks so highly of you" he said jokingly, laughing at the blushing Jaune who seemed to be a bit flustered, feeling some warmth in his cheeks while Rally turned to him annoyed.

"F-father, I… you know… I just met Jaune, I don't think that highly of him" she said with a blush of her own as the man quieted down. As he finally did he then took a deep sigh and looked at his daughter and gave a small smile, though it was one of bitter-sweetness over actual joy. Walking up to her, the older man caught his daughter in an embrace, thankful that his daughter was alright.

'Father…?' Jaune actually realized before he witnessed the family moment. Heading into the building and having decided to give the father-daughter duo a long-awaited and needed moment. As he closed the door, he found a nearby chair and sat down to think. Closing his eyes he began to think it all over. Rally was safe and reunited with her father; the angry mob was probably going to round up the remaining criminals and hit-men he left lying around the village and he wound up delivering a one-shot to an executive to some kind of sea mafia.

And it wasn't even a full three freaking days since he left the damn island. Miles was going to have a field day at this if he ever found out. How did he even get in this kind of position in the first place? Contemplating his life, he rested his head on the table, allowing the silence to fill the room.

Unfortunately not even that was given to him as a small sound coming from the table rattled in the room, causing Jaune to sigh and look at what was making the noise. A large snail seemingly muttering some kind of noise that Jaune was confused at. 'What the, never saw a snail like that before' he thought as he noticed something mounted on the shell. He didn't know why but he had the urge to pick up the receiver if only to get it over with.

"Hello?" Jaune asked slightly annoyed as he heard a voice on the other end.

"Huh, who the hell are you… where is Rein Zero?" the voice demanded as Jaune was confused but after today he really didn't care all too much. Looking at the dial, he noticed the snail seemed to show some patterns of a panda but didn't think too hard about it since it was probably just decoration anyways.

"The guys is gone, I one-shot him and his bodyguards left with him, why?" he asked annoyed as the line was silent on the other side until the voice spoke up again.

"Exactly… who am I currently talking to here?" the deep voice asked as Jaune rolled his eyes.

"Jaune Arc, short sweet and rolls of the tongue and yada-yada-yada." He said irritated as he rested his head in his hand. "Who wants to know anyways?" Jaune asked annoyed having been shot at several times today, nearly sliced or stabbed several times today, was shot at with cannons and was somewhat disappointed despite him happy to have gotten rid of Rein Zero and his men.

"I am Panda Bubba, the head of the Panda Family" the now named voice said as Jaune nodded before he realized what he said.

'Wait-what?' he thought to himself alarmed. Then he realized what he just did. Oh shit he just really admitted that he-

"And you're saying that you managed to defeat my executive… how interesting indeed. John Arc…" the voice taunted him as Jaune narrowed his eyes. Yep, he just basically said he beat the shit out of an executive to a crime boss of the so called "Greatest Family of the South Blue" and did so very casually.

"It's pronounced Jaune. J.A.U. N. E," he corrected before speaking up again. "What exactly are you plotting anyways, I thought that harder clay stuff was more or less just a fad or something by this point" he said with some actual interest while Panda Bubba seemed to grin, or at least the snail seemed to grin, Jaune was confused on how a snail could grin but he wasn't going to ask something like that at the moment.

"Mister Arc, you would be surprised at what I can use, even simplest… what did you call it, a fad? What I can use a so-called fad for. But rest assured that I have no more need for such a thing, your island holds no more interest to us… but you on the other hand do" Panda Bubba said as Jaune frowned. Oh joy; he interested a crime boss in probably one of the worst ways possible.

"But first I must thank you for proving some of our suspicions correct. You see, Rein Zero was just a small fish with a big name, just a glorified hit-man given the title of executive due to some… certain circumstances in our ranks" the boss informed while Jaune said nothing before nodding his head. Rein Zero was in all actuality weak. No better than a grunt so that begged the question, just how strong were the Panda Family executives, and he meant the real executives. "Many of us believed him to be quite unfit for the position and I have to agree with them. You on the other hand interest me… tell me, what do I need to give you?" he asked as Jaune was confused at the question.

"Give me, what does that mean exactly?" Jaune questioned as Panda Bubba explained.

"To have you work under me of course, everyone has a price. Money, women, power, fame, perhaps some kind of end goal, or a place to belong, I am a man of much of that and much more. If you so willingly wish to join" he offered as Jaune's mood soured at the tones. He frowned and replied with some poison in his words.

"Not interested in joining a mafia in the foreseeable future thanks for the offer though but I have my own things to deal with" he said as the man seemed genially disappointed.

"I see, how sad to lose such a possible replacement for that failure Zero. Oh well I suppose that we'll just have to deal of you as well then. I'm sure you won't mind us sending Kimimota out there again, she really wanted to finish what she started there" he said mockingly as Jaune glared at the snail.

Finish what she started… like what Rally told him about the last time someone came here. He snarled and slammed his fist on the table.

"Leave them out of this; they aren't the ones who kicked Zero's ass back to the sea!" Jaune shouted as Panda Bubba seemed unfazed at the retort.

"But if I don't take any action it would look bad on our image… you condemned them Mister Arc, and that island will pay for your actions" he stated gravely serious while Jaune said nothing at that. His hands shook as he tried to think of some idea to stop this. He just helped freed them and now he indirectly was going to destroy them. He had to think of something, anything. As he ignored what else the mafia head was saying he finally got an idea. "You understand now, you have nowhere to hide and nowhere to run."

"Why bother running or hiding, Bubba. I'll be heading over to you and kick your ass in person. Let's keep it nice and simple between us only. After all I'm the one who beat the shit out of your men. Just tell me where you are and we can settle it there, unless you're too scared and have to hide behind your men to face me yourself?" Jaune asked tauntingly, hoping to personally piss the man off further and have him change his target to him at the same time.

He merely laughed

"Hehahahaha~ you will come to me in person, my what bravery you must have Mister Arc. Or perhaps it's foolishness" Panda Bubba said as Jaune shrugged. It was probably both if he was being honest here but it was better than doing nothing while Rally and her home are wiped out because of his bad luck. "…You will come to face me in person, correct?" he asked to make sure while adding extra emphasis on the word "Will", Jaune nodded.

"Yeah, I'll be there. Just tell me where and we can settle everything there" Jaune said as he slowly grinned. "I already beat one of you guys and I promise I'll take you down soon enough. We Arcs tend to keep our promises, so just stay there and wait" Jaune said as he declared war against the man as said man laughed louder.

"Oh, I will, and I'll be sure to recall our executives. I'll give you a month to come and fight us, Mister Arc, I think we can hold our operations for such a 'challenge" such as yours" he said amused. It wasn't every day that someone would so boldly and daringly challenge the entire family to a fight and on his turf as well. "I await your arrival, Mister Arc… if you don't show up however then everyone on that island will have to pay for both your words and actions, boy."

"I'll be there, just you wait… I'll be there as soon as I can!" Jaune shouted which only seemed to please the mafia head more.

"Alright then, I'll be expecting you then… in fact I'll be generous, an extra month. Sixty days from now I'll be waiting for your arrival. If you don't show up on time however then you and everyone on that island will be eliminated… I do hope you understand our agreement, Mister Arc."

"Two Months… just give me the place" Jaune said as he was ready to fight. Miles said that he needed to get stronger to take on the challenges of the Grand Line. What better teething was there than a mafia. He was sure he could handle them all.

"Neo Panda Island. I'll be expecting nothing but your best. Do not disappoint me, child" the deep voice stated with no room for argument before the line silent. Jaune nodded and placed the receiver on one end of the shell, hanging up as it were before nodding.

Oh, he would bring nothing but his best alright. And he meant every word about his promise. Maybe it was just him being cocky or prideful but if Ruby and her team could beat Torchwick and the White Fang, a terrorist organization then he was sure that he could do the same.

Walking back out of the house, he turned to see both Rally and Forx gawking at him. Jaune seemed confused for a second until he turned to the house he was just in, the window was open, and they heard the entire thing. Looking at Rally who was now walking over to probably strangle him, Jaune felt a bit of fear crawl into him. She had to same exact look Yang would if someone hurt Ruby.

"…Uh, I can explain?" Jaune asked more than said as she grabbed the swordsman by the shirt and pinned him to the wall.

"What the hell did you just do, Jaune!" she shouted with pure rage as Forx just looked at the scene. He should be mad, he should be angry at the kid for doing what he just did. But he couldn't, seeing his daughter had enough anger for them both, he couldn't help but feel some nostalgia from seeing his daughter chew out the man who had saved her life and helped them as well.

"Eh, hey-I said I was sorry, I was caught up in the moment!" Jaune shouted as he covered his face as Rally tried to smack him, something which would do near to no damage to him with his Tekkai but growing up with seven sisters… perhaps it was instinct that set in, not that he would ever admit that out loud. No, instead Jaune slightly leaned back and made some distance between them to escape the angry brunette's wrath, said brunette delivered her complains by trying to strangle him. Forx just sighed, knowing that this was going to be a very interesting day for the village once news of this got around.

Two days have passed since the liberation of Little-Moss as Jaune sighed and looked at the older man with some slight unease. "And you sure you aren't mad?" he asked as Forx nodded.

"I told you already that no, I'm not mad. From what I would assume Panda Bubba would've found this out eventually and we wouldn't have that two month breathing room. For now we'll head to another island for a bit, until we know you make good on that promise, Jaune" the man said as Jaune nodded, shaking the older man's hand.

"Right, thanks again for everything, I really appreciate the supplies and the other stuff" Jaune said as Forx nodded.

"Yeah, you look less like an actual hobo now and more like a respectable man" Forx said as Jaune frowned. Seriously he wasn't a hobo, why did people keep calling him that even after he shaved his beard off. Forx laughed at the expression on the younger man before giving him a pat on the back while they waited for Rally.

"Still I have to say, you do look rather nice in those clothes, and Rally really knows her stuff, huh" Forx said, praising his daughter's skills in tailoring while Jaune nodded. Looking down at himself he gave a small chuckle. Similarly to his time in Remnant he wore more simple clothes, a white buttoned shirt with brown fingerless gloves, black pants and brown boots. "Still think you should've kept the beard" Forx muttered as Jaune shrugged, having shaved himself clean of facial hair and cut his hair back to how it was while he was in Beacon.

"True I guess but it'll grow back soon enough" he said as Forx nodded. Before their conversation could continue however the sound of a door opening was heard as both men turned to see Rally walking towards them.

"…So are you ready, Rally/" Jaune asked unsure while resting his hand on Saint's hilt while she shot him a small glare.

"Yeah, I am" she said as she sported a brown shirt and black shorts with similar brown boots to his own. Jaune was a bit worried and felt a bit bad for dragging her into this. Before he could say anything she stopped him. "Don't… I know what you did, I know why you did it, I am thankful that you helped us but… honestly you really shouldn't have intervened here, Jaune."

"I know… but at least I'll be able to take them down once and for all… right?" he asked as she nodded.

"True, but don't expect me to stay with you or join your crew or something like that. I'm only coming to make sure you make it to Neo Panda Island in one piece, you have no sense of navigation and need all the help you can get" she said as Jaune nodded. It was fair enough. They both had their own dreams and hers was to stay in the South Blue for now.

"Alright then, are you ready to head out?" Jaune asked as the brown haired woman nodded, her hand resting on her own sword's hilt. Making their way to a larger boat than Jaune's former row boat, both of them boarded and prepared to take off. As the wind blew and the sound of the ocean helped keep them entertained, both Jaune and Rally left the island while Forx crossed his arms.

They would be alright, he was sure of it. Rally was like her mother, a fighter when she needed to be. Still for Jaune to go into the Grand Line… that place was known as the Pirate Graveyard for a very good reason. Hopefully the kid found some people to help him along the way. The same could be said with his own daughter as well, knowing her own ambitions were similar to both his and her mother…

Her mother… his precious Laval D. Sara

'Sara… our little Ralls is all grown-up now. She is setting out to sea and following her dreams… much like you had done' he thought with no lack of pride in his daughter. As they disappeared from sight, Forx turned back, knowing that his work was still far from over.

Sometime later, Jaune looked behind him and smiled softly while Rally focused on steering. Once she locked the wheel in place she turned to Jaune and crossed her arms. "Alright then, the wheel is locked in place, and I think we should see just how well you can handle yourself on the seas" she said as Jaune nodded.

"Yeah, you said you'd teach me about sailing" he said as they sat down in a small ship, a sloop if he heard right. Rally nodded, Jaune needed to learn this stuff if he wanted to make it as a sailor.

"Alright then, let's start from the beginning… first we have the wheel…" she started, as Jaune nodded his head and listened to her the best he could.

It was a long way until he got to the Grand Line, he needed to find a crew, a better ship, a lot of things actually, but for now it was best to focus on the basics. He had less than two months to face the Panda Family. Whether or not he knew what he was doing at that time… he rounded it all up to his horrible luck.

Alright and that settles the Little Moss Island battle. Rein Zero is defeated and his men are driven out while Jaune has a two month time period to take down the Panda Family. Seems easy enough, right?

That being said he also has a little bit of help to get there, one Laval D. Ralls who is inspired by one of Joan of Arc's allies, in this case Guy D Laval, who was a young knight who fought with Joan in the Loire Valley Campaign. (Or according to what I looked up on him.)

Rein Zero, as anti-climatic as it was, more or less served to showcase the difference between Jaune pre-training and how he is now, meaning if I was going to compare him to someone, I would probably say he would be on Junoir's level. But rest assured that we haven't seen the last of him, the true battle with him will begin soon enough. As for the actual executives, those are some actual fights I'm going to enjoy writing.

So with a bit of fun, I figured I can try listing who is all currently on Jaune's "Crew."
