"So, how long again until we get to the next island?" Jaune asked as he sat in his own boat with Rally now sharing the slightly larger one with Neo. It had been a day or two since they left Palma Island, the marines were quiet and they managed to leave peacefully enough, Ryos and the villagers providing a bigger boat for them to use while Jaune managed to keep his smaller one he was given back on Little-Moss. Neo, in response to that question, merely shrugged her shoulders both with uncertainly and probably uncaring as well while Rally thought about it while looking at a map.

For Jaune it was at the very least nice to see them all getting along, this was however otherwise known as Jaune made sure Neo didn't kill anyone of them out of boredom. The strange thing is that for a murderous, sociopathic hit-woman, Neo seemed rather calm around the two of them, a frown was still on her face out of boredom as she debated whether or not she actually was sure following the blond idiot was a decent idea or not.

On one hand he was currently the only person she knew from Remnant, and thinking back, what did she even have back there. She wasn't sure Cinder was alive from what Jaune said. 'I still can't believe red managed to gut Cinder… if that's actually what happened' she thought as she gave the clouds up above a contemplative expression. 'Jaune wasn't even in the right state of mind when that happened' she thought as she looked at him for a second, recalling the faint scars on his neck where the bitch tried to choke him out and burn him to ash.

She placed a hand on her stomach as she subtly traced where he own scar was from the madwoman, a frown deepening on her face as she tried to purge that thought out of her mind. Neo was done with the bitch, done with Salem and honestly probably done with Remnant as a whole. Jaune stated it best that if there was a way back then he would look into it. If not then that was honestly alright as well. She smirked as she focused on her own desires for once, taking out the Panda Family and taking it for herself.

'Live for myself, not as a weapon for another' she thought back towards Ryos's words about it and let out a small but content sigh as she dreamed about becoming the head of the South Blue's most notorious syndicate. It wasn't until she noticed Rally talking to Jaune that she snapped out of her thoughts. Her current companions were rather interesting to her; she didn't exactly hate either of them. The only thing she honesty had against the blond idiot was his relationship with Ruby Rose and how he was still mostly a bleeding heart.

Rally on the other hand was another person she was more neutral towards. She seemed like the only other person who seemed to get something done. "So, the next island is Umibozu Island… what kind of name is that?" Jaune asked as Neo quirked an eyebrow while Rally shrugged.

"It was named after a pirate known as the Umibozu. He was a fishman who raided ships and killed a lot of people before he was caught and executed" she said with a frown as Jaune nodded. He remembered a little bit about what Miles said about them, they were a race of people who lived under the Red Line but were constantly abducted and sold as slaves. Not only that but they were viewed as less than human and were treated almost worse than faunus were back home.

Neo however was confused, what was a fish-man? She supposed it was like a faunus or something and from that just deemed it a side note for whatever brand of bullshit this so-called Grand Line actually had. A small smile formed on her as she imagined it however, there were people stronger than her, and there were people stronger than the people in South Blue. That alone was all she needed to go, she wanted to test herself, to grow stronger.

And if by miracle that bitch survived and she and Arc actually did get back to Remnant, a cruel grin formed as her eyes seemed to indicate she was thinking of a very violent outcome for the possible deceased Fall Maiden.

"So this island is named after a pirate, that's interesting… anything else?" he asked as Rally shrugged.

"Not really… I mean all I know is that there is a small village on it but that's about it" she said as Neo got up from her spot on her boat and looked at something out in the distance. "We shouldn't be that far off now… maybe an hour or two-huh?!" Rally started before she was pulled by Neo and turned to see her pointing at something. Turning their heads, both Jaune and Rally both noticed what the young woman had seen and stared at it confused.

'Is that a ship?' Jaune asked as he saw a large ship on the water as Neo nodded. Rally said nothing but reached down to pull out something from a small chest that was in the boat Ryos gave the two of them. Pulling out a small telescope, she eyed it from afar. It wasn't something she expected however, her small intake of air was all Neo needed to know.

The ship in question seemed torn to shreds, it was amazing it was still afloat as holes ripped through the sails and the wood was chipped. "Uh… Rally, what's wrong?" Jaune asked as Rally said nothing but continued to examine the ship. Eventually she gave him a worried look.

"That looks like a ghost ship…" she said as Jaune and Neo both looked at her. "There aren't any sea kings here and that ship looks busted up" she said as Jaune frowned.

"You think it was an attack?" he asked as she nodded, that was the only other possibility. Neo was interested in that as Jaune frowned crossing his arms he noticed something about it. The ship in general was a mighty galleon and was probably able to hold up to a few tens of people easily, it would need that many people just to sail it properly. "So, what's the plan?" he asked curiously as he looked at the two women who both gave him a questioning look.

"Aren't you the captain?" Rally asked as Neo crossed her own arms as Jaune shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeah but that doesn't mean I'm making it a dictatorship. There are three of us and you two probably know about this kind of stuff better than I do" he admitted as Neo and Rally both agreed with that. Looking at the ship, it seemed like it was growing closer to them, curiously Jaune jumped from his ship and made his way to get a better look with Gepo. Rising high enough the Arc frowned as he stayed in the air with a steady beat of kicks, he looked around from his spot on the air and finally landed on his ship, small waves rocking the boats as he did so.

"What did you see?" Rally asked as Jaune frowned.

"I saw the entire deck complexly decimated. I think you're right about it being an attack…" he said as Rally frowned. Looking at the ship, he frowned as he placed a hand on Saints while scanning the ship with narrowed eyes. 'Hey, you think we should check it out?' he asked as Rally and Neo looked at him confused.

"I don't know… whatever managed to do that might still be on it…" Rally said as she noticed Neo give her a glance. Looking at Jaune, the silent woman pointed to the ship with a small smile, indicating she wanted to go aboard. She was fairly sure whatever was actually on it was something that they couldn't take care of. Seeing this, Jaune nodded.

"Well, there might be something on it that will give us an idea… besides it's getting late" he said as Rally gave him a deadpanned look. "So it might actually be better for us to hop on and explore before making our way to Umibozu" he said as he noticed the look he was getting. "Uh… Rally?" Jaune asked as the woman said nothing but shook her head.

"Nothing… but I'm not spending the night on that thing" she said as Jaune gave her a nod, neither were they, he wasn't going to risk it if Rally was right. Glancing at the ship, he tried to use his Kenbunshoku Haki to try and get a good read of it but didn't sense anything on it. With that he looked at Neo who nodded. Seeing Rally reluctantly agree as well, Jaune smiled.

It was time to go aboard…

Jaune said nothing as he looked in a small room with his sword resting on his hip and waiting for the others; the room was torn and made him uneasy. Eventually he continued to walk down the hall, the doors of the rooms ripped off of the hinges and making him clearly concerned. 'It's like this place was attacked by an animal…' he thought to himself as he looked straight ahead and noticed Neo and Rally walking up to him.

"So, nothing then?" Jaune asked as he looked at the two others who each had frowns on their faces. It might have seemed foolish but they split up after being on the larger boat but they needed to cover ground quickly, the sun was setting and Jaune didn't exactly like what might've been nearby if anything still was around the wreck. "I didn't find anything at all in the captain's room" Jaune admitted as he checked the cabins and found nothing in them, it was completely stripped from anything that seemed unimportant. Mattresses were dirty and unmade beds were the only thing there.

Any chests, drawers or anything else built to hide or store anything in however were barren or busted, leading more evidence to the pirate raid theory.

"Food's gone as well, the kitchen is empty" Rally said as she checked and found a huge disaster waiting for her there, the large table was pushed aside to a part of the room with any food or supplies taken. Neo however nodded her head as she pulled out something she managed to find while looking through some of the other rooms. Holding out a small snail that was roughly the size of a two liter bottle, Jaune frowned when he noticed its condition. For starters it was dead as whatever was left of it was completely crushed into a near paste.

"…Alright, that's a little… disturbing" Rally said as it made her a bit uneasy at the sight of what appeared to be a den-den mushi completely crushed as Neo also held up something else she found. It was small but slightly visible in her gloved hand. "Hold on… is this, seaweed?" Rally asked as Neo shrugged. She found some of it on the ship and seeing it made Jaune think to himself.

"You know, now that you mention it… I think there was something like that in one of the rooms as well…" Jaune said as Rally felt worried. "What do you think, Rally?" he asked as the woman gave him a serious look.

"I think we should get off of this ship and back to our own boats as soon as we can. I don't want to know what else we might end up finding-" she started as soon they heard a banging sound from a nearby room, ending whatever the woman was going to say in a heartbeat. They froze as Jaune and Neo immediately turned towards the door with aura already pulsing through their bodies, ready to fight.

"Guys… we're the only ones on here… right?" Jaune asked fearfully as Neo nodded, Rally placed a hand on Acier and motioned him to be quiet. The noise was heard again, followed by what seemed to be creaking on the floorboards and something coming closer to them. Jaune reached for Saints while Neo grabbed the hilt of Hush with a glare before she heard Jaune whisper to her. "Neo, cover us with an illusion, alright?" he asked of her which she nodded hearing it draw ever closer. Looking to an open room, Jaune made his way in and motioned them inside, Neo and Rally both followed, hoping that the illusion and hiding in a room would make it harder for them to be noticed. They just hoped that whatever it was didn't enter the room.

As Neo did what she could with her semblance, the three masked by the illusion as both waited with baited breath as they soon heard the footsteps nearing the door, a nearby light source showing the figure's shadow. Soon enough it came into view, Rally gasped as Jaune and Neo both took a step back, Neo instantly shivering before she extended Hush's extended blade with Acier and Saints both instantly drawn fully.

'What the hell…' Neo muttered in her own mind as they all shared a similar thought. It was big, it was bulky and there was no way in hell that whatever they were looking at was human. It was hard to see with the lighting but it was easy to tell some of the features. It was a head taller than Jaune, coated in scales that seemed to litter its body with what seemed to be human skin underneath it that wasn't fully covered. To Jaune it looked a little like armor of sorts. The eyes however seemed empty, soulless as if any spark of life or thought was drained with a faint red glow similar to that of a Grimm scanned the room.

Neo said nothing but instantly regained her composure, thankful that the illusion didn't drop in front of whatever the hell that thing was. It looked like one of those fish man things that Rally mentioned but that wasn't really helpful to know. It opened its mouth, fang-like teeth like that of a toothed fish poked out of the flesh as it seemed to have let out a breath of air. Its arms hung limply as the hands were clearly webbed as well as the feet. The monster continued its own way as it disappeared out of sight and left the trio to their own thoughts.

As the illusion fell, Jaune spoke first in a whisper. "What the fuck was that thing?" he demanded as he dared not see if it still roamed the halls while Rally gave him a glare.

"The hell am I suppose to know?" she replied back as Neo gave them both a glare, putting a finger to her mouth and clearly saying for them both to shut the hell up. She wasn't sure how far away or how many of those things were actually around but it made them all worried as they heard a few more movements around them. "We need to leave. Now" Rally said as Jaune nodded. Looking at Neo, she frowned as she nodded as they made their way out of the room.

They didn't hear anything but that didn't mean they were safe. As Jaune approached the door, he was grabbed by Neo who stopped him with a glare. She placed an illusion over herself before she decided to look out of the room silently and found the monster was still in the hall, walking around with a snorting sound being heard. Pulling her head back in before it noticed her, she turned to them with a fearful look in her eyes, pointing at her nose and then spreading her arms wide.

'She-nose… nose for all?' Jaune instantly thought as Rally frowned, judging by the brief movement they heard, Rally was concerned. Neo was indicating something from pointing at her nose before she wondered something. Seeing Neo pinching her nose and waving her hand before gesturing out at the hallway, Jaune seemed confused. "It smells badly?" he asked as Neo shook her head and sniffed her own arm before pointing at him and nodding.

'She's sniffing… it's sniffing… it's sniffing our smell- it's tracking us!' Rally realized as Jaune realized it soon after as all three of them heard it beginning to make a second round near them. Neo placed another illusion around them and made their way back to the end of the room, the monster in question loomed in the entry way, the sniffing of it became clear; Jaune debated whether or not to attack. He hoped it would begin to pass them soon, only to pale with the others when it entered the room. It locked eyes with them and gave off another smell before it seemed to growl towards them.

Jaune knew they were caught, so did Rally and so did Neo, before Jaune could say anything however it gave a loud primal roar and lunged towards them. Webbed hands were caught as Jaune managed to hold it back, hoping to break the wrists of whatever it was like he did to Buso. His shock however showed when he only managed to squeeze them tightly while the scales seemed to prevent the aura-infused strength from outright crushing them. The creature tried to snap at him, Jaune using Tekkai to take the hit as he still felt something pierce through his skin

His eyes widened as he realized it, that for the first time since Miles, his Tekkai was broken, his aura taking the hit to minimize the damage, Neo glared as she pulled out her blade fully from Hush's umbrella and stabbed the beast in the eye, the monster turning its head and roaring in pain as Jaune felt a part of his shoulder go with it. No, it would be fine, his semblance would heal it but his left arm wouldn't be able to be moving as well as he's like it to. Looking down at the ground, he noticed Saints laying there, Jaune's eyes widened, realizing he dropped it to catch the hands while Neo pulled back her weapon, taking half of its face with it.

The fish-like monster glared as Jaune before turning to Neo enraged as the woman twisted the weapon in her hand. Jaune glared and brought his hand back, his left shoulder injured so his right hand would have to so. Channeling some haki into it, Jaune impaled the monster in the back, the monster buckling as Jaune reached around and found what he was looking for. Grasping it, he pulled back and tore off something from the monster's body, Neo noticed it as she made a gun and channeled some aura into the bullet while Rally felt her eyes widen. Jaune jumped out of the way as the gun was fired, the bullet passing through the monster's head and missing Jaune.

When the monster fell, Jaune gripped his shoulder while Rally eyed the monster with fear. Seeing it dead she then turned to Jaune who let go of his shoulder to look down at it. His hand was coated in some blood but nothing too bad. He would have to let his semblance and aura heal it for a while but other than that he was fine. Picking up Saints he noticed the looks he was getting.

"Jaune, are you-"

"I'm fine, but that thing bit through my Tekkai… it even got passed my aura" he said as Neo and Rally looked at him and took that news horrifically.

"…It bit through your Tekkai… your Tekkai… the same thing that can withstand blades, bullets and who knows what else?!" she practically yelled as Neo was more focused on what he said about the aura being penetrated. That thing managed to bite through aura which was enough to consider them a true threat to them all. Rally didn't even have aura to begin with so if it got into her… "Look, we need to leave, I'll be fine and we can go get a doctor when we get to Umibozu" he said as Rally frowned and looked at Neo. "Neo, I need to use your scarf for a second" she said as Neo gave her a confused look as she thought of why she needed to use it.

Taking it off she handed it to her fellow pirate who gave her a nod of thanks before tying it around Jaune's injury. She frowned slightly but chose not to address it as Jaune sighed. "I got careless, sorry…" he apologized as another thud was heard, this time from the other side of the hallway. 'Yeah, no… we're taking this outside…' Jaune thought as he turned to the back wall and delivered a few kicks, creating an opening from the Rankyaku-sliced hole in the wall. Neo nodded at the idea and ran out to make sure the coast was clear with Rally and Jaune following. As Jaune left the room, another shadow was seen from the doorway and made its way in.

Jaune flinched at the sound it made as it made a bee line to the opening, turning its head however as it peaked out the hole in the wall, it was disposed of as an invisible bullet was shot into it by Neo while Jaune turned back and grinned. Making their way up a flight of stairs, they managed to find their way to the deck only to stop at two more of them looking at them.

Jaune cursed as Rally held her blade out, ready to attack. Neo glared and ran up to one, her gun becoming a blade as she held Hush in her other hand while Jaune charged the other one with Saints over his injured shoulder, Jaune swung it down as a wave of pressurized wind was shot at the monster who blocked it with its scales as Neo slammed her own weapon into the arm of one of them, only to realize that the invisible weapon had no effects on the scales. In fact it made sense that Jaune couldn't crush its wrists, the scales made it harder to accomplish and with that in mind she avoided a swing from her opponent.

Looking at the monster, she noticed the head had a fainter shade of color, possibly indicating weaker scales than on the rest of its body. 'Head shots it is…' she thought as she placed an illusion over herself as the monster swing at it. As Neo shattered into pieces, the monster let out a loud roar as Neo brought her invisible blade in both hands and sliced the monster's head in two pieces. Jaune however had another idea.

'Alright, let's try this…' he thought as he channeled his aura into the blade and jumped up. Bringing the blade coated in white energy down, he swung. "Ieroaku/ Yellow Arc!" Jaune shouted as a wave of white aura was sent out in an arch shape that suddenly began to turn a vivid yellow, the monster before him tried to block it but was quickly sliced through, the arch in question continued to travel passed the deck as Jaune managed to smirk at the work.

While he tried not to use his more advanced moves in fights, this was an exception. From what he could tell these things weren't like Rein Zero or even Buso or their followers, these things weren't any better than fish-like zombies. And after being bitten by one he valued his own life as well as Rally and Neo's over whatever these things were any day.

Rally smiled as she saw the two of them defeat their opponents with ease as she ran up to them. "Are you two alright?" she asked as Neo nodded while Jaune gave out a grin.

"We're fine… let's get out of here before anymore of them show up" he said as Neo nodded, she didn't sense anymore other than the four of them and with that she looked down in the sea and saw their boats, thankfully untouched since they tied them to the larger ship. As she jumped off of the deck and landed in the larger of the two, Jaune and Rally joined her in the other boat, Neo cutting her rope with a knife while Jaune simply used Rankyaku to do the trick. The impact also left a small hole in the hull of the ship and in time it would probably begin to sink.

"Alright… let's get going…" he said as Rally nodded, both boats being turned away from the larger ship, the three of them more than content to let it sink and lay forgotten forever…

It was long-since night as the stars shone in the darkened sky and it was a long night now, if they wanted to get out of dodge before who knew what else showed up.

"So another failure… how disappointing" a man said as he rested his hands in his coat pockets, before him in a cage was a monstrous being, coated in dark blue scales and red glowing eyes, the beast merely growled as it was chained up. The man sighed as he extended his hand out away from both him and the caged and restrained monster as a green slime-like substance came out of his white coat's sleeve with his arm turning a similar shade. As the slime began to mold itself into a ball it then began to spin and flatten, the rotating sphere becoming a disk and then forming a hole in the center to become that of a ring. "Oh well, I suppose we still have to get passed that beta stage" the man said before the green ring was flung at the creature and struck it directly in its face.

The monster let out a cry of agony as the slime-like substance seemed to mold onto the creature before embedding itself into the scales. Seeing this occur made the man outside the cage grin as the slime then formed to create a small collar around the monster's neck. The man turned to face a few more similar creatures, green rings similar to the one he created around their necks. With that he reached for the keys in his pocket and unlocked the cell door before moving up to the monster.

"I don't understand, that man managed to nearly complete it on the first try, and even with his notes and his subject I still can't find a way to get it right… but you lasted longer if anything, I suppose that should be worth something…" the man muttered, undoing the chains and walking back out of the cell. "You are all relieved until I have need of you, return to the bay and wait for further instructions" he ordered as the mindless creatures moved down the stone hallway in a hypnotized state.

"Master" a woman said with a glazed look in her black, pupil-less eyes, "We have lost contact with subjects One Twenty-Five through One Twenty Nine… more so the vessel that they were supposed to bring to us is currently unknown to us" she said in a robotic trance as the man looked at the young woman in question with a frown.

"Tch, I knew I should've just sent you to do it… if only you weren't too smart for your own good and learned too much" he complained as he eyed a collar around her neck as well as well as a few green bracelets and anklets on her as well. He had to be careful with this one; she was too independent and irreplaceable for his work.

"Master… what is your bidding?" she asked robotically as the man frowned before looking up at a nearby screen before crossing his arms.

"We need more subjects my dear little girl… the last batch didn't live up to the necessary expectations… not to mention that brat is currently snooping around. I suppose it was only a matter of time before they got involved somehow…" the man said as the woman nodded. As she left with a bow the man walked the other way with a grin on his face and a thought in his mind.

'Soon… I will rule the seas… and not even the marines will be able to stand up to my army' he thought as he made his way to the lab for a bit of tweaking on another experiment. He would make that damn Vegapunk pay dearly with his own perfected work being the man's downfall.

The next morning, Jaune and the others made it to land, an island that they were happy to reach. Arriving at a small visible town, Jaune let out a content sigh of relief. They were all tired, having stayed up all night, just in case of a surprise attack by whatever the hell those things were. Now arriving to the shore, Jaune got out and begin securing his boat with Rally and Neo right behind him. "Alright, I think the first thing we do is just get some sleep… preferably in an actual bed" he suggested as Neo nodded.

'A bed, yeah… no way I'm sleeping near the boats after last night' Neo thought as she gave another glance at the waves behind her as Rally gave a thankful look herself. As they entered the small town however they were immediately caught off guard. People were looking at them with glares as Jaune had a bad feeling about this. Ignoring the looks as Neo gave a glare in turn, the trio continued on, Rally whispering to Jaune.

"What was that about? You don't think what we did at Palma-"

"I don't think so… but it would make sense" he said as he narrowed his eyes at the people behind him. 'Thankfully we have everything important locked under key and the chests are bolted down. Besides other than Sludge's fruit I highly doubt that there is anything too valuable for them to take' he thought, yeah it was stupid to think that way…

But Jaune was tired, they all were tired and he wasn't going to worry about that at the moment. A yawn escaped his lips as he turned to see that despite the glare Neo gave to the other people, she was showing signs of sleepiness. "Alright… let's just find an inn or something… worst case scenario we just sleep in the wild and camp out" Rally said as a yawn left her mouth soon after.

Looking at a building, that said Water's Edge Inn, the trio made their way in and was greeted by a strange sight. "What do you mean you won't let me rent a room?"

"I told you, miss… we're closed!" the innkeeper argued as a woman with purple hair glared at him. She wore a tan trench coat and for reasons they didn't understand a white snake coiled around her as it looked at them. "Uh… what's up?" the woman asked as she turned towards the trio. The woman seemed to have pupil-less eyes but seemed to hold a bit of mischief in them.

Jaune immediately shuddered in realization as it reminded him of Nora when she saw something "Fun" and Neo when she found something "Interesting." "Oh, well isn't this an interesting group…" she said as she grinned suddenly before turning back to the owner. "Alright how about this, one room for me and the three of them, triple the cost" she offered, a ridiculous offer at that if she was trying to save money. The owner said nothing but sighed.

"Fine… but don't blame me if they try to get in… as for me I'm evacuating with the others as soon as I can… and I want that money up front!" the man said as the woman nodded.

"yeah, I got it… here" she said as she reached into her pocket and pulled out some money, the man taking it and not even bothering counting as he was clearly annoyed and just reached behind a nearby desk and grabbed a pair of keys.

"Here, find whatever room you want, just don't say I didn't warn you" he said annoyed as he made his way towards the exit while giving the four of them a glare. Neo gave a glare back as Jaune looked at the woman confused. She merely turned back to face them with a smile of her own.

"Well would you look at that, guess we get a free stay" she said as Jaune and Rally looked at her confused, Rally speaking up with confusion clear in her tone.

"Why did you pay for us as well… as for that matter, do you know what he meant by them?" the swordswoman asked as the purple-haired woman grinned.

"Well I figured we could be friends… and what kind of friend would I be if I didn't help you three out?" she asked as Jaune immediately knew something was up, glaring at her as Neo seemed confused and turned her attention to the purple-haired woman. Seeing a glare from the blond, she smirked. "Guess that didn't work… fine, I have my reasons to help you" she said as they looked at her confused at that.

"…Your reasons? What are those?" Jaune asked unsure as he prepared to fight if he needed to. The woman merely saw this and had a glow in her eyes that resembled Neo's own.

"My, aren't you a little jumpy… then again from what I heard about you two back on Palma Island I shouldn't be too surprised" she said as Jaune and the others immediately reached for their weapons before Jaune noticed something off, it was only after he felt something slither around him that he noticed the same white snake coil around him and hiss curiously. "Relax; he isn't going to hurt you, well unless I tell him too… I'm not here to fight you three" she said as Jaune said nothing as Rally frowned.

"You mentioned Palma Island… and you have a snake around Jaune… how exactly can we trust you here?" Rally demanded unsure as the woman thought about it and sighed.

"Fine, Kabuto, let him go." And with that the snake loosened its grasp on the blond as it slithered back to its master. The woman eyed them and kept her grin. "Well then I suppose we should introduce ourselves first. The name's Anko… I'm a bounty hunter of sorts" she said as Jaune mentally groaned. Oh great, that means they probably had a bounty on them. "And I have to say you don't really seem that awake… I mean considering how much you're worth-"

"God damn it, we actually have a bounty on us…" Jaune muttered as Neo grinned at that bit of news, a stark contrast to Jaune's reaction. Rally was a little worried before realizing why they were being glared at.

"Is that why those people were glaring at us?" she asked as the woman, Anko, shook her head.

"Nope, they have their own issues with outsiders… still I don't blame them after those attacks that were happening…" she said as Jaune was confused.

"Attacks?" he asked as she nodded.

"Yeah, every night it seemed like a bunch of monsters attack the village and tries to kidnap some of the people. Though despite the marines sending people to investigate nothing turned up… but there is something I might know about this and I want to investigate it" she said with a smile as Rally said something to herself.

"Monsters… like last night…" she muttered as Jaune picked up on it.

"Yeah… you mean those fish-man things" he said as Anko looked at him in interest and shock.

"You found them?" she asked as Jaune glared at her.

"We fought them, hell we killed four of them after one took a small bite out of my shoulder!" he said a little louder than he probably meant to. Anko said nothing but noticed the injury on his shoulder. "Look, we're tired so can you at least let us get some sleep before you arrest us or something for our bounties" Jaune asked with a bit of sarcasm as Anko smiled at the tone of it.

"Heh, you seem to be more like a sarcastic ass than a silver blade" she said as Jaune seemed confused.

"Silver blade?" he asked as she realized that they might not have seen the bounties, it was fair enough since it only came out yesterday to the public. With a small smile still on her face, she walked to the desk and pulled out a sheet of papers. As she pulled three of them out she held them out for them to grab. Taking the three posters, Neo and Rally each gathered around the blond swordsman in interest.

The first picture was that of Rally, she had her hand resting on Acier and looking away from the camera, her eyes being that of passiveness of some sorts, however considering how bruised her face looked it was after the marine battle they had on Palma Island. Rally was honestly confused how they got that picture; in fact she was kind of curious on just how any pirate or criminal got their picture taken for their bounties. Looking at the information, she was curious as to what it was.

Swordswoman: Laval D. Rails

12,000,000 Belli

Rally was even more confused at the epithet she was given, "Swordswoman?" Was that really the best they had for her? Neo grew impatient and Jaune flipped it over to the next poster, this time it was Neo in what appeared to be her normal attire as she gave a small grin that promised trouble, more accurately it was probably a smile that promised someone dying soon. Looking down at her information proved to be interesting as she was greeted with an interesting title.

Harlequin: Neapolitan Torchwick

25,000,000 Belli

To say the title didn't match up with her was a wrong assumption, as she did seem like that kind of person. From what Ren and Blake mentioned and from what he himself saw when fighting her before she used the abilities of the Maimu-Maimu no Mi. Neo was a fencer but also skilled in some kind of fighting style called Akido or whatever Ren called it, just far more aggressive and assertive than what gunner of Team JNPR and later ORNJ had encountered before.

Looking at the last poster made them curious on what it said about Jaune, it had is picture from after he fought Buso, he had a tired look to it, somehow making him a bit more intimidating, the fact that he was directly facing the camera with a small leer made it that much so. Though rereading the information made Jaune and the others seem confused.

Silver Blade: John Ark:

30,000,000 Belli

Jaune said nothing at that, his eye twitching slightly, he knew he shouldn't be upset about it, it was only a typo but regardless he had to wonder just how the hell they got the name wrong. 'It isn't John Ark its Jaune Arc… how did they even get the picture for this anyways?' he wondered as he noticed Neo looking at him curiously. It turned to annoyance before he noticed her point at the information. "Yeah, I know… I don't get why they misspelled my name here too" he said as Neo shook her head.

She pointed again at the poster of him, this time right at the numbers he was given. "What, my bounty… what does that have to do with anything?" he asked confused as she took the posters from his hand and tossed Rally's carelessly to the ground, the woman in question grabbing it as she then pointed to her own picture's bounty.

"Your bounty… what, you have a decent one yourself, why are you mad about it?" he asked as Neo glared at him before crossing her arms annoyed. It wasn't that she had a weak bounty, hell she was happy it was over the twenty-million Belli mark. The issue was that Jaune's was a good five-million higher than hers.

She knew that at the end of the day, bounties were just something akin to street credit but how the hell did Jaune Arc, weakest student of Beacon, bleeding heart dumbass who picked a fight with a mafia and never even killed anyone as far as she was aware other than possibly Buso if that bastard actually lived, had a higher bounty than her. It was honestly kind of insulting considering everything she did. Hell if they counted what she did in Remnant she would probably have a bounty five times what Jaune had.

"…Wait, are you jealous of my bounty or something?" Jaune asked curiously as Neo gave him a look that told him to shut up. Jaune wisely said nothing more while Anko spoke up.

"Not bad I have to say, though from what I heard on my way here that Buso person deserved what he got… but let's not get into that for now" she said with a grin as they all turned to her. "Instead, tell me… how would you like to go fishing with me?" she asked as the three pirates each had a look on their faces, not sure what she meant. Judging by her attitude, they had a feeling they were going to regret it as well.

And there we go, a bit of a short chapter but one to add a bit of very late Halloween feeling into it. Which if this is any indication on when I initially hoped to write this part down... but I digress.

So with that being said, I suppose for those who read the previous versions you know what's coming so I figured I'd add a bit of an extra part to it to make it more interesting.

As for the bounties, I might have them a little higher since all he did was attack a marine captain with "Rokushiki" techniques while Neo is in all honesty a monster all in herself. I'm going to have a running gag though regarding Jaune's wanted poster as well as a running theme regarding Jaune's Neo's and anyone else from Remnant that has a bounty on them.

And before you ask, yes that is Anko from Naruto which I DO NOT OWN. like I said I am borrowing certain characters from other sources, if only because I'm not that good at making Original Characters. I'm only doing this for the South Blue however so for those who don't like that, I hope you can bear with it for a while. I hope you enjoyed and have a good day or night.
