Waiting for Gordorsky

************** I swear! My daughter has met some interesting people! And this is the second princess! Amanda was invited to a beautiful luncheon and she didn't tell me one single detail of her afternoon! I just don't understand that girl! If I had been invited to a luncheon let alone a weekend at a ranch I would have remembered every detail and lived off telling my stories for months! I worry about her. She keeps to herself and hasn't dated since that wonderful man Alan. Well, I thought he was charming. She just stopped talking about him and we never saw him again. I wonder if there is someone at this film company she's working for. She doesn't tell me a lot about what she does there. It's like it's some big secret.

She did the sweetest thing for me. I had a horrible day yesterday. I was with Howard, my driving instructor. Well, we had an accident. It wasn't my fault. The truck did come out of nowhere. When I got back this afternoon from visiting Howard in the hospital - he's okay…just his nerves. Anyway, she was given a medal from Princess Valosky….I didn't quite understand why but Amanda gave it to me. She told me that I was there when we met the Princess and she felt that I should be able to enjoy it. I think she wanted me to feel better about not getting my driver's license yet. Hopefully I can get it soon.

Amanda did mention a man she was with. I wonder if Mr. Tuxedo also got a medal. It just seems to me that he's always around my daughter at the strangest times.
