Do you ever wonder what Dotty was thinking? Here is my silly take on some episodes starting with Dead Ringer...Did she really believe all of those made up stories Amanda told her? AS always, I do not own SMK or these amazing characters...just borrowing them to make people smile.

One Bear Dances, One Bear Doesn't

********************** Amanda was waiting for me outside of the federal building I was coming out of. I had to tell my story about what happened with Andre Zernoff. I still can't believe I was out all night and we were in danger! Amanda was so cool and calm through it all. She seemed like dealing with dangerous men was nothing…like it was a day at the office. I sighed as I walked up to Amanda.

"Oh darling! I am so glad to see you."

"Mother! Are you all finished with the federal agents?"

I nodded "Yes, I told Mr. Melrose everything that happened and I said goodbye to Andre. He's moving to California."

Amanda looked defeated when I told her that. "Oh Mother. I am so sorry to hear that. He seemed like a very nice man."

I took her arm as we walked to the car. "Amanda, let me tell you something young lady. If you are lucky to find someone, don't hesitate. As the boys always say, 'Just go for it!"

Amanda laughed and said " I'll try and remember that Mother!"
