************" "Well, Mr. Stetson, I'm surprised, Oh. I mean I'm delighted."

Lee Stetson walked up to me and smiled. " Would you please call me Lee"

"Oh uh…of course, Lee"

"All right" He produced a beautiful bouquet of flowers from behind his back. "These are for you."

I was so surprised! I glanced at my daughter who was beaming at us. "Well, thank you!"

Lee turned to walk over to Amanda. "Ready to go?" She squeezed his hand. "Yeah, let me just grab my coat."

I looked at Lee and tried my best not to sound nosy. "Is this another premier?"

He shook his head. "No, just dinner."

"Dinner. Dinner, that's nice."

Amanda came back into the den "Okay, I am ready."

"Have a wonderful time!" I said.

They said their goodbyes and I noticed right away that they were holding hands. This was very promising. I looked down at the flowers and gave them a sniff. They were beautiful. I said a silent prayer to myself that finally we were going to get to know Amanda's mystery man. He certainly earned some brownie points from me. Flowers! What a charming man!

I walked into the kitchen and looked for a vase. Phillip was standing there watching me as I started humming.

"You okay Grandma?"

I looked up at him and smiled. "Yes, my darling boy, I think I am going to be just fine"

I fluffed my flowers around in their vase and sighed. "Aren't they just beautiful?" Phillip smirked and said "Yeah, I think that was pretty cool of Mr. Stetson to give you flowers. I smiled at my grandson and said "It certainly was….. I think we are going to be seeing a lot more of him around here."
