For KoalaTakingNotes who give me the prompt: Boruto and Sarada go to a hypnotist show, and Sarada gets accidentally hypnotized while watching from the audience. She's left two post-hypnotic suggestion. 1) For the rest of the night, anytime she hears a bell ring she'll go to the person she likes and hug them. 2) Anytime she hears someone say "crush", she'll find herself uncontrollably shouting the name of the person she likes.
I'm sorry for the mistakes, English is not my native language. I hope you like it.
Happy New Year!

Crush
Boruto looked at the poster in front of him. It was the poster for the show of the hypnotist Takeda. Boruto had never heard of him, but apparently he was known throughout the Land of Fire. There were posters of his show all over Konoha and all dates were sold out. He glanced at the two tickets in his hands. Earlier today, he had come to a woman's aid who was being robbed near the Thunder Burger. It was the producer of Takeda's show and to thank him for his help, she offered him two tickets.
Boruto wondered who he was going to ask to go with him. His parents would spend the evening together, Himawari was at a sleepover and he knew Kawaki would refuse if he knew it was a hypnotist show. He looked up and smiled when he saw Sarada in the distance.
'Sarada !' He called.
He ran to her and she turned around. He showed her the tickets.
'I got two tickets for Takeda show. Do you want to go with me ?'
Sarada looked at the tickets, perplexed.
'Isn't that a hypnotist show ? Don't tell me you believe in it !'
'Come on, it can be fun. I'm sure we'll have a good time.'
Sarada thought about it for a few seconds. She smiled and took a ticket.
'Okay, I will go with you. You pick me up at my house.'
Boruto nodded and smiled.
'Looks like a date.'
He blushed when he realized what he had just said. He had spoken without thinking. He glanced at Sarada who was blushing and was looking away to not meet his gaze.
'Idiot,' she said. 'It has nothing to do with a date. We meet at the concert hall.'
She rushed away, embarrassed. Boruto could not help calling himself an idiot. Why did he say that ? At least she was still willing to go with him.
~ 00 ~
Sarada headed for the concert hall where Takeda's performance was to take place. It was the largest concert hall in Konoha. She had gone there often with her mother when she was little to see children's shows. Recently, she had attended a concert with Chocho. And tonight she was going with Boruto. She had spent part of the day thinking about what he had said. A date. Was it a date ? No, they were just two friends who were attending a show together. Sarada smiled. It was what they were. Two friends. Besides, it was not the first time Boruto had spoken without thinking.
She arrived in front of the concert hall and she saw Boruto waving at her. The place was packed. She knew Takeda was famous, but she never thought he was so famous They waited for the hall to open and Boruto told her how he got the tickets. They finally entered and they took a seat.
Takeda made a spectacular entrance and the show began. He asked several people to go on stage and he hypnotized them to put them in funny and surprising situations. Sarada could not help laughing.
'You can tell they're all accomplices,' she said.
'You think ? It looks real.'
'Except that it has nothing to do with a Genjutsu. This kind of hypnosis is impossible.'
'That's the fun part. We always wonder if this is true or not. You just have to stop thinking and enjoy the show.'
Sarada thought he was right. It was just a show and if even everything was fake, she was going to let herself get carried away by the show and have fun.
Takeda brought a young woman on stage. She could not hide her joy at being chosen for the next act. She stood next to the hypnotist, grinning from hear to hear.
'What is your name ?' Takeda asked.
'Akane.'
'And are you in a relationship, Akane ?'
She nodded, blushing.
'Is that person in the room ?'
She pointed to a young man who was sitting next to her. He waved his hand, just as happy as his girlfriend to be a part of the show.
'What is your name ?'
'Ryo,' he shouted, a little too enthusiastic.
The audience laughed lightly, amused by his behavior. Takeda looked at Akane and asked if she was ready. She nodded and the act began.
'Look at me Akane and listen to my voice. You only hear my voice. You are feeling good, you are relaxed.'
Sarada felt like Takeda's voice echoed in her head. She could not hear anything else. His voice appeased her, she was relaxed.
'Your arms, your legs, your whole body gets lighter.'
Sarada's body was lighter and lighter. She felt like she was on a cloud. She was fine.
'Your eyelids are heavy, you are tired, you can't keep your eyes open. You are more and more tired. I'll count to three and you will fall asleep. One, two, three, sleep.'
Sarada had never been so tired and she fell asleep instantly. She dreamed that her body was as light as a feather and only Takeda's voice overcame her dreams. She only heard him and she only saw him.
'When I'll snap my fingers you will wake up and every time you hear the word 'crush' you will shout the name of the person you like. Wake up.'
Takeda snapped his fingers and Sarada slowly opened her eyes. She had fallen asleep without realizing it. She had never thought she was so tired. It is true that her father had returned to the village for a few days and that she often trained with him. She had also managed to convince the Hokage to work a few hours a week with him, in addition to the missions given to Team 7. So yes, she was tired. She glanced at Boruto. His attention was turned on the stage. Fortunately, he had not noticed that she had fallen asleep. She looked at Takeda and saw that Akane was still on stage. The act was not finished.
'Are you alright Akane ?'
'Yes,' she answered, still a little sleepy.
'Do you have a crush ?'
'Ryo !' Akane shouted.
'Boruto !'
Sarada opened her eyes wide. Why had she shouted Boruto's name ? It had been stronger than her, she had to shout his name. Fortunately, the audience was applauding at the same time, no one had heard her.
'Sarada ?'
She looked at Boruto. He had heard her shout.
'You're okay ?'
'Yes.'
This answer seemed to satisfy him and he looked at the stage again.
'Thank you Akane, you can go to your crush.'
'Ryo !' She shouted as she returned to sit down.
'Boruto !'
Sarada clapped her hands over her mouth. It was starting again. She had shouted his name without wanting to. She could feel the eyes of the people around her. She closed her eyes, hoping that she was still asleep and that this was just a dream.
'Are you sure you're okay ?' Boruto asked, worried.
Sarada put her hands on her knees, trying to sound confident.
'Sure. Let's keep watching the show.'
Sarada turned her full attention to Takeda, concentrating with all her might not to shout Boruto's name. She did not understand what had happened. It must have been because of the tiredness. It could only be because of that. After all, why would she fall asleep in the middle of a show ? Two acts went by and Sarada had not shouted Boruto's name. She could finally relax. Takeda spoke to Akane once again.
'Are you okay Akane ? How's your crush?'
'Ryo !'
'Boruto !'
No, no, no, Sarada thought. She understood what was happening to her. She had been hypnotized. That was why she fell asleep. And when she heard someone say 'crush' she would shout Boruto's name. And yet, she did not remember anything. Akane was in a relationship with Ryo and every time she heard the word crush she would shout his name. The name of the person she loved.
Still, she and Boruto were different. They were not in a relationship, they were friends. They had known each other forever and he was her best friend. He had seen her in her best and worst moments. He made her laugh, consoled her when she was sad, calmed her when she was angry. She trusted him and she would trust him with her life without hesitation. She had watched him grow up to be this strong and courageous young man. Sometimes, she caught herself thinking that he was handsome and sexy. Yet she had never thought that of Mitsuki or Kawaki or any of her friends. She trusted them, but the bond between her and Boruto was different. Stronger and deeper.
She opened her eyes wide, realizing what she had always refused to admit. She was in love with Boruto Uzumaki. The show continued and she heard Takeda saying the word crush.
'Boruto !'
She was trying hard to stop herself from shouting, but it was impossible. She looked at Boruto, who was looking at her intensely. In a second, she knew he had come to the same conclusion she had. She blushed. Why was this happening to her ? In a room filled with hundreds of people.
'Anyone can give it a try,' Takeda added.
He spoke to a man in the front row.
'Do you want to try ?'
'Crush !'
'Boruto !'
Sarada clapped her hands over her mouth again. It had to stop. She leaped to her feet and ran out of the room.
'Sarada, wait !'
But she did not stop. She had to get away from him. She rushed to the hall and the employees looked at her, surprised. She opened the door and went outside. There was a chill in the air and she shivered. She had left the room so quickly that she had forgotten her jacket. At least here, she thought, she would stop shouting. Two boys walked past her. She could hear part of their conversation.
'As soon as I see her, I ask her to go out with me.'
'You've had a crush on her for a long time.'
'Boruto !'
Both boys jumped and turned towards Sarada. She smiled, embarrassed, and apologized. They nodded and continued on their way. It had to stop. She had to ask Takeda to fix it. She could not spend the rest of her life shouting Boruto's name every time she heard someone say crush.
The doors opened and the audience went out. The show was over. She returned to the hall and saw that Boruto was looking for her among the crowd. She was not ready to see him. She returned to the room and she saw Takeda with Akane and Ryo. The young woman was asleep, sitting in an armchair in the front row, and when the hypnotist snapped his fingers, she woke up. They spoke for a few seconds and the young couple left the room. Akane was no longer hypnotized. Sarada approached Takeda. He had his back to her.
'Excuse me,' she said.
Takeda turned towards her and smiled.
'Is this for an autograph? I'll get something to write on.'
'No that's not it. In fact...'
She sighed.
'There was a problem during the show. I got accidentally hypnotized.'
A glimmer of understanding lit up his gaze.
'So it was you.'
Sarada blushed. Of course he had heard her. She could not stop screaming during the show.
'Please, you have to fix this. I can't stay like this.'
He smiled at her to reassure her.
'Okay. Sit down.'
Sarada sat down in an armchair in the front row and Takeda stood in front of her.
'Look at me and listen to my voice. You only hear my voice. You are feeling good, you are relaxed. Your arms, your legs, your whole body gets lighter. Your eyelids are heavy, you are tired, you can't keep your eyes open. You are more and more tired. I'll count to three and you will fall asleep. One, two, three, sleep.'
Sarada fell asleep. She dreamed that her body was so light, that she was flying. Takeda's voice echoed in her head.
'When I'll snap my fingers you'll wake up. Everything will go back to normal. The word 'crush' will no longer make you shout the name of the person you like. Wake up.'
He snapped his fingers and Sarada woke up. She slowly looked up at Takeda.
'Did it work ?' She asked.
'We will see that. Crush !'
Sarada said nothing. She did not want to shout Boruto's name anymore. She sighed with relief. It was finally over.
'Why ?' She asked. 'Why was I hypnotized?'
'Perhaps you were more receptive at the time and your subconscious was telling you that it was time to realize your feelings.'
Sarada thought about what he had just said. He was right. Maybe she was finally ready to admit her feelings for Boruto to herself. After all, she had realized that she loved him when she was hypnotized.
She said goodbye to Takeda and left the room. She took the road to her home. It was late and the streets were deserted. This quiet of the streets allowed her to think about everything that had happened. And now, what was she going to do ? She could not ignore Boruto. She would have to talk to him. She was afraid of his reaction. If he did not feel the same, their friendship would be wrecked and the idea was unbearable to her. Maybe she should forget her feelings in order to preserve their friendship. She did not want to lose him.
She jumped when she felt something around her. She turned her head and saw that Boruto had put her jacket on her shoulders. She had been so lost in her thoughts, she had not felt his chakra.
'Do you know how long I've been looking for you,' he said.
'Sorry.'
It was now or never, she thought. She knew what to do.
'About what happened during the show ...'
'Sarada.'
'Let's forget about everything ...'
'Sarada.'
'It doesn't matter how I feel. Our friendship is far too important and I don't want to ruin it ...'
'Sarada !'
She stopped talking and opened her eyes wide. She did not expect him to react like that.
'I don't want to forget anything,' he said.
He walked over to her and took her hands.
'For some time now, how I feel about you has been different from friendship. But I was afraid to tell you about it. I thought you didn't feel the same and I didn't want to lose you or lose your friendship. But since tonight things have been different and I'm no longer afraid to tell you how I feel.'
He got lost in her eyes. He gently moved his lips close to hers and was reassured to see that she was not pulling away.
'I love you Sarada. I have always loved you.'
Without further hesitation, Sarada put her lips to his and they kissed. She let herself be carried away by this kiss. She felt like everything was fading around her and there was only Boruto. His arms around her waist, the warmth of his body, his lips on hers. She had never been happier. If only she had realized sooner her feeling for him. They moved away slightly and Boruto smirked.
'So you have a crush on me.'
Sarada knew what he was trying to do.
'It will not work. I am no longer hypnotized.'
Boruto sighed, disappointed.
'That's too bad, I liked it when you screamed my name.'
Sarada blushed more and more. She gave him a playful smack on his arm. Boruto burst out laughing.
'Idiot,' she said, trying not to smile.
'But now I'm your idiot.'
He approached her once again and they kissed. From now on, Sarada will never doubt hypnosis again.
The end
