Kuvira and Baatar spent all noon by the lake. They explored near hills, watched eagledeers and they competed in stone skimming. It was a free day they both needed. The weather was still nice and sky was blue...
"Twenty! That's a new record!" Baatar said with excitement. Kuvira couldn't use her powers for throwing stones so she had to admit she lost.
"Okay. You won." Kuvira said and laughed. It was already late noon and Baatar and Kuvira spent four hours by the lake. They should return back to Zaofu soon. They didn't want to go in dark.
"We should probably go back. It's getting late." Baatar said and looked up to the sky. The Sun started to go down really quickly and it was getting a bit colder.
"Yeah. You are right." Kuvira nodded and they started to pack their backpacks.
When Kuvira wanted to pack her bottle she realized it was empty so she decided to fill it with water from the near spring.
"My bottle is emty. I will fill it and then we can go." Kuvira said and Baatar nodded. She ran closer to the spring and got down to her knees to fill the bottle... but when her hand touched the water it was really hot. "Ah!" Kuvira screamed.
"What happened? Are you alright?" Baatar quickly ran to her to see if she was okay.
"I wanted to fill the bottle but that water is hot." Kuvira explained and Baatar looked closely on her hand. "It wasn't that hot... It just scared me." Kuvira continued.
Baatar tried the temperature with his own hand and he looked confused. "I didn't know there were hot springs in this area." He was confused and then he started searching from where it is flowing.
"This is probably the only one because water inside of the lake is really cold so the rest of springs have to be normal." Kuvira said and followed Baatar.
They followed the spring for about 70 metres and then it ended. It was coming from near crevice in the rock. Baatar tried to find another way but he couldn't find any.
"It's a shame. I would like to see a source of that spring." he sighed and looked at Kuvira. Then he started walking back to the lake.
Kuvira stood there for a while and then put her hands on the rock. She closed her eyes and used her seismic sense to find a way. Kuvira's seismic sense wasn't that good as Suyin's but she could feel that there was a cave inside of that mountain.
Baatar looked at Kuvira curiously and asked: "Did you feel something?" Kuvira looked at him with smile and said: "I think I've found something amazing."
Kuvira walked far from the stone and then she created tunnel with her earthbending. "Let's go." she said and walked inside. Baatar wasn't sure if the rock is stable but he followed her. Baatar was amazed by how strong Kuvira is. She created this tunnel with one move of her hand. No wonders that she i sone of the strongest metalbending guards in Zaofu. She's really talented. He wished he could be bender as well…but destiny had different plans for him.
When they reached the end of the tunnel they were amazed.
It was the most beautiful place they've ever seen. That cave was…breathtaking. There was a lake created by hot spring in the center and on the ceiling of the cave were blue lights. It was magical.
"Wow." Kuvira was amazed. "What are these lights from?" Kuvira asked while agape.
Baatar couldn't believe his own eyes. He thought they found a portal to the Spirit world. But then he remembered something. "I think I know what it is. Follow me." he said and went closer to the wall to look at that lights. Kuvira now saw that these lights were moving.
"These lights are actually living creatures. They are worms who glow in the dark and create these blue lights. I've red about it once in encyclopedia." Baatar said
"Wow. That's amazing." Kuvira replied and went closer to the lake.
Baatar observated that worms for a while and then turned at Kuvira. She was staring at the lake. Then he got an idea. "Let's go for a swim. That water is nicely warm." he said with smile on his face.
Kuvira was surprised. He turned at Baatar with lifted eyebrows. They needed to go back to Zaofu... "But we don't have time. We need to go back to Zaofu." she said.
Baatar thought about it for a while and then said: "Don't worry. We will go downhill so the way back won't take that long...We can spend there about half an hour." he was now walking closer to Kuvira and took her hands to his.
Kuvira wasn't sure about it. But after while of convincing she admited that having an oportunity to swim in such a beautiful lake is worth it.
" Okay... But just for a while." Kuvira said and saw Baatar running closer to shore. He was really excited and then he started to undress... Kuvira's cheeks were blushing when she saw his muscular back and chest. She was glad that Baatar didn't caught her staring at him. Then he took off his glasses and put it on the ground carefully. Then he jumped to the lake in his underwear.
He swam to the middle of the lake and then turned at Kuvira. She was still standing on the shore. "C'mon Kuvira. It's amazing." he called and started to dive.
Kuvira was little nervous. Her hands were shaking... she put her hair in a bun and then started to undress. Nobody ever seen her just in her underwear…
Baatar didn't want to look at her when she was taking off her clothes because he knew kuvira is shy when it comes to these things … so he turned away. "Don't look there Baatar." he said for himself. One part of him really wanted to turn at her. Little did he know that Kuvira was spying on him as well.
It took Kuvira a long time so Baatar was worried if she was alright. He was nervous but slowely turned on her ... she was just taking off her t-shirt. Baatar quickly turned back. She was so ... beautiful. Her body was... amazing. Baatar quickly washed his face. He needed to calm down. His heart was beating fastly and his body started to react down there at what he just saw... He was glad that he could easily hide it when he was in the lake.
Kuvira didn't know that Baatar saw her. She put her clothes on the ground and then jumped to the lake in her black bandeau bra and pants.
When he heard that Kuvira jumped to the water he finally turned at her with nervous smile.
"You were right. That warm water feels amazing." Kuvira said and swam closer to Baatar.
The lake wasn't so deep so Baatar could easily stand on the bottom but Kuvira wasn't that high so she had to swim all the time. "We have to return there someday when we will have more time." Baatar replied and they swam around for a while.
When they were on the other side of the lake Baatar said: "Let's see who will swim faster on the other side." Kuvira laughed. "I accept your challenge." she replied.
Baatar had a mishievous smile on his face. "You can start earlier. I will catch you in a second." he said with a grin.
Kuvira liked how competitive Baatar could be. It was really funny. "No way. You won't catch me." she laughed and splashed Baatar then she started to swim on the other side.
Baatar had water in his eyes from that splash and when he finally opened his eyes... Kuvira was already in the middle of the lake. He smiled and dived. He swam under water as fast as he could.
Baatar was actually really good swimer but Kuvira didn't know that so it was advantage for him.
Kuvira swam as fast as she could. She was almost on the other side and was happy that she will win. But just a few meters from the finish... Baatar swim out and outdistanced her. She didn't expect that so it scared her.
Kuvira qickly catched his leg and tried to slow Baatar down but it didn't work. Kuvira was still holding his leg so she didn't need to swim anymore. It was really funny situation because they were like train.
Baatar won... He turned at Kuvira and they both started laughing. "That was cheating." Baatar laughed and Kuvira swam closer to him.
"I needed to stop you somehow." she laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. Baatar wrapped his arms around her waist and held her thightly. They were still in deep water so Kuvira couldn't reach the bottom. They were looking to each other's eyes.
"I love you, Kuvira." Baatar smiled and put soft kiss on her forhead.
"I love you too, Baatar." she replied with smile and hugged him even more tightly. His arms felt like home... "And thank you." she added.
Baatar was confused. "For what?" he asked while still holding her.
"For the best birthday of my life." Kuvira said and kissed Baatar. They both closed their eyes and lived just in this moment. This kiss was long and passionate. Kuvira felt Baatar's skin on hers and it felt great. The wave of electricity ran through their bodies.
The kiss ended when they needed air. It was amazing. When they looked at each other no words were needed. They both felt hunger. They wanted more.
Baatar kissed her again. Even more passionately than before. Holding Kuvira so close was making him shaking. Feeling her skin on his own was like a dream ... His hands traveled down her back and rested on her butt. Then he started kissing Kuvira on her neck which caused her moaning.
Kuvira's hands were in Baatar's hair and she wrapped her legs around him so they were really close to each other now. Waves of electricity came from every place where Baatar kissed her. "Baatar..." the way Kuvira said his name drove him crazy. He loved it.
Their breathing was now fast. Kuvira kissed Baatar's shoulder and then her lips traveled on his neck. She could feel that something was pushing on her thigh. "Oh Kuvira." Baatar moaned.
Baatar couldn't take it anymore... He grabbed Kuvira and climbed on the shore. He couldn't stop looking at her. When they were on the shore they laid on the ground so Kuvira was under him.
Kissing continued. Kuvira held Baatar close to herself and her hands traveled his back then she wrapped her legs around him so she could feel his warm skin on her body. She loved that feeling.
Baatar took Kuvira's hands to his and placed them above her head. Kuvira smiled at him and kissed him passionately. But then she felt that pushing on her lap again. She knew what it was... And out of nowhere she was scared.
"Baatar...please... stop." Kuvira said nervously. Baatar saw fear in her eyes and stopped immediately. He knew he went too far. He stood up and said: "I am sorry. I didn't meant to push you to something you don't want." he was really nervous. It was all so good and he couldn't control himself.
Kuvira was now sitting on the ground in her underwear. She wanted it ...it was just too quick... She loved how close they were and all that touches felt amazing. She just wasn't prepared... not today. "Baatar... you don't have to apologize. I loved what we just did. It's just... I think I am not prepared yet." Kuvira said quietly.
Baatar nodded and said: "You know... let's forget about it. You had perfect birthday so don't let it ruin by what just happened..."Baatar was now nervous because he tried to hide a bulge in his underwear.
Kuvira nodded with sad face." I don't want to forget." she thought for herself.
"Could you please now excuse me? I ...l need to... sort something out." Baatar ran out of the cave. He needed to get rid of that problem in his pants because it kind of painful now...
Kuvira stayed in the cave and felt embarassed. ''I've ruined everything." she thought for herself. It all felt so good but It just wasn't the right time.
Kuvira stood up and took on her clothes. She saw Baatar's clothes which still laid on the shore and remembered all that kisses and touches...her heart was still beating fastly. She sighed and turned on the lake.
After a while Baatar returned to the cave and he seemed much more relaxed than before five minutes.
Kuvira turned at him and nervously said: "I will go pack our backpacks." Baatar nodded and watched Kuvira going out of the cave. He sighed and took on his clothes. "It was a long day." he thought for himself.
When he got out of the cave... Kuvira was already prepared to go back to Zaofu. She handed Baatar his backpack. "I am sorry." She said with sad face.
Baatar took his backpack from her and looked into her eyes. "You have nothing to apologize for. We had a great day. That's what we need to remember. Not what happened now…" he smiled and softly kissed her on forhead. He was glad he found someone like his beloved Kuvira.
Kuvira smiled back and took his hand. Then they started their way back to Zaofu hand in hand.
They didn't talk much...but it didn't mind them. There was amazing sunset on their way back and the only thing Kuvira could think about was how lucky she was to find someone like Baatar.
Later that day when she laid in her bed and tried to fall asleep...her mind was still coming back to that moment by the lake...Kuvira looked at the vase with flowers from Baatar which was on the night table and her heart beated even faster...
Baatar couldn't sleep as well. He spent all night at the balcony and was looking at stars. It reminded him of their secret glowing cave. The memory of Kuvira's body being so close to his own...caused the waves of electricity in his body...
