Zaofu, airship station, month later
Autumn in Zaofu was always beautiful. All leaves changed colors and cold wind carried them away. Metal City started to change and prepare for winter. But there was a very important event in this season...Zaofu anniversary festival.
Zaofu was founded 22 years ago and during that time the city developed to today's form. It took long time but Zaofu became one of the most modern cities in the world.
Every year at this time the anniversary festival takes place in Zaofu theater and in the city center. It's a great day. There is a food market, carneval, dance performance, fireworks and many other events.
It is always really hard day for Zaofu guards as well because festival like this requires higher level of security. However Kuvira won't be there as a guard this year but as a dancer.
Kuvira and other metalbenders from dance group will perform tomorrow and she should have her solo part as well. Kuvira was a little nervous but she was a perfectionist. She practised a lot and wanted her performance to be perfect... because the next day is special for one more reason. Baatar has birthday…
Baatar was born exactly two years after founding Zaofu and it is his 20th birthday tomorrow. Kuvira thought about his birthday gift for a long time and created special magnetic belt to which Baatar could attach all kinds of tools during mountings. She hoped he will like it.
Baatar and Kuvira's relationship was the same like before that incident in the glowing cave. They didn't talk about what happened there. They just enjoyed their time together like before.
However Kuvira returned in her memories to that moment many times. Baatar's kisses on her body felt amazing and being so close to him... woke up completly new emotion inside of her.
Baatar thought about it a lot as well. He was still angry at himself because he rushed it. He stepped over the line and decided to not do it again until Kuvira says she's comfortable with that. She told him that it's not his fault but he still felt guilty.
However festival should be tomorrow and many visitors will come to Zaofu. Baatar and his father had to repair platforms on the airship station because they didn't work properly in cold temperatures. They had to add special heating technology so the cables could be still fully functional during winter.
The airship station is very spacious and since Baatar and his father are nonbenders they asked metalbending guards to assist them. Baatar hoped that Kuvira will be on the watch here today.
"I radioed to captain Rey and there should be two more guards to help us." Baatar's father said when they were in the elevator to the airship station. Baatar nodded and took his bag with tools from the ground.
Kuvira and Theo were already there. It was a rainy day. "Do you know why captain called us here?" Kuvira asked Theo while waiting close to the elevator.
"I am not sure. Something with platforms." Theo replied and Kuvira nodded.
When the elevator door opened Baatar saw Kuvira in her guard uniform. He was happy that she is on the watch today and that he will spend some time with her. But there was one more guard. Theo. Baatar hoped that Theo will assist his father and he could be with Kuvira.
Kuvira smiled at them. Baatar and his father walked out of the elevator and Baatar Senior said: "Good afternoon everyone. Oh Theo I heard the news. Congratulation." Theo smiled and thanked him. Theo's wife Sisa was pregnant with their second child. Kuvira knew her from dance practise and their older daughter Mia couldn't wait to be a big sister.
Baatar Senior then continued: "Me and Junior are going to install special heating technology to the platforms today and we would need your assistance."
"Sure. Just tell us what to do." Theo replied and walked closer to them.
"We could divide to teams. You and Theo can start on the left side and me with Kuvira will start on the right side. We will meet in the middle. It will be quicker and we will have it done before that rain gets worse." Baatar Junior suggested when looking at his father and then secretely blinked at Kuvira.
Kuvira's heart jumped when Baatar blinked at her. She wanted to smile but had to stay professional. Their relationship was still a secret.
"You are right Junior." Baatar's father said. "Theo, please follow me." then they turned away and walked to the first pillar platform.
Baatar could finally smile at Kuvira and they quickly went to the other side of the station. They hid behind a pillar and Kuvira put her hands on Baatar's cheeks. He wrapped his arms around her waist and they kissed.
"I missed you so much." Kuvira said and kissed Baatar again. They didn't see each other all week because Kuvira had to help other guards to prepare for festival and she had many dance trainings as well. And Baatar had to travel to Yu Dao with his father because of new railway construction.
"I missed you too." Baatar replied and his hands caressed Kuvira's cheeks. She rested her forhead on his own and they enjoyed being together again.
Kuvira caressed Baatar cheek and laughed. "I didn't know you were growing a beard." There was a long bristle on Baatar's face.
He giggled and said: "I forgot to shave when I was in Yu Dao. Maybe I should keep that beard. What do you think?" Baatar said with mischievous smile.
"I like it actually." Kuvira said and kissed him softly. Baatar smiled and decided to keep that beard. He had to admit that he liked it as well. After a while they started with installing. Baatar and Kuvira were a great team so working together was easy.
It was really cloudy today so they worked fast to have it done before the rain starts and sometimes they stole a kiss or two.
When they were in the middle of platform Baatar was down on his knees still placing new technology. Kuvira stood next to him and was holding an umbrella because it was raining now. "I hope I will see you tomorrow at the festival." Baatar said.
"Of course." Kuvira replied. "We have dance performance so I won't have to work. We will have more time for ourselves." she gave him a warm smile.
"I can't wait to see you dance." Baatar said with smile and then saw that his father and Theo were almost there.
Kuvira turned back and saw on what was Baatar looking at. She quickly hunkered down and kissed Baatar passionately before they could see them. Baatar wrapped his arms around her waist and then whispered: "I will see you tomorrow."
"Be there on time." Kuvira whispered back and then stood up. Theo and Baatar Senior were now next to them.
"Have you finished installing Junior?" Baatar Senior asked.
"Yeah. Thank you for help Kuvira." Baatar said and Kuvira nodded. "No problem." she replied.
"So we can go home. Thank you for help once more. Goodbye." Baatar's father said and handshaked with both guards. Then went back to elevator.
Baatar said goodbye to Theo and gave him a handshake. When he said goodbye to Kuvira...he took her hand and his fingers gently caressed skin on her wrist under the sleeve. Kuvira looked into his eyes and hoped that Theo didn't notice anything. Baatar turned away and followed his father.
Kuvira watched him leave and then thought about festival. She will dance just for him...
Zaofu, the next day
Baatar was looking into mirror and thought about his beard. He was wearing just his sleeping shorts and his glasses were still on the bedtable. He liked the beard but he decided to shave it on the sides so it was mainly on his chin.
He dressed up and went to the living room in Beifongs's residence. Every year Beifong family celebrated Baatar's birthday in the morning and they had special lunch together. In the afternoon they were on festival.
Baatar was wearing long dark green t-shirt and black trousers with metal belt and necklace. When he opened the door to living room all members of his family were already there.
"Happy birthday Baatar." everyone called. Baatar smiled and saw his siblings running closer to him.
They hugged him really thightly. Excpect for Huan... he just gave him a smile because he likes his personal space. All siblings wished him the best and gave him presents. "Wow you have a beard." Wei said with excitement. "It looks really good. You are so adult now. "Wing added and Baatar giggled.
Then his parents came to him and hugged him. Suyin caressed his cheek and said: "I remember how little you were when you were born. And now...look how smart and strong you are. I can't believe it's been 20 years already." she was now crying. "Happy birthday Baatar." Baatar smiled and hugged his mom again. He was surprised she didn't call him Junior.
"Happy birthday son." his father said and smiled at him. "You became an amazing engineer and I am proud to be your father." he hugged him as well and gave him other presents.
"Can we now eat the cake?" twins asked unisono and everyone laughed.
"Let Baatar blow out the candles first." Suyin said. Baatar walked closer to the table where his birthday cake was and blew out the candles. "It is said that you should wish something when you are blowing out the candles." Opal said.
Baatar looked at his sister and said: "I made a wish but I can't tell you."
"Oh c'mon! We won't tell anybody." Wei sighed. "Please tell us." Wing added but Baatar didn't say a word. They gave up when Suyin started cutting the cake.
Baatar did make a wish. He didn't know if it will come true someday... but he knew one thing for sure. "I want to live this dream only with Kuvira. Nobody else...just her and only her." Baatar thought for himself.
The Beifong family spent all morning by celebrating Baatar's birthday and they had special lunch which was consisted of Baatar's favourite meals. Baatar had a great time and he couldn't wait to see Kuvira today…
"It's already 3 p.m. we should prepare for festival." Suyin said and all members of Beifong family agreed. Today will bring more amazing things.
The City Theater, Zaofu
It was already late noon and Kuvira with other dancers and Suyin were preparing for their dance performance. The City Theater was really spacious. The stage was very big and there were silver and emerald chandeliers on the metal walls. All seats from the auditorium were moved to the sides so there could be more place for people.
For today's dance performance the stage was decorated with waterlily flowers and the scenery looked like star sky with full moon. Baatar asked Kuvira many times what the theme of the dance performance will be but Kuvira never told him. She wanted it to be surprise for him.
The theater was now full of people and Kuvira nervously searched for Baatar in the crowd. She was wearing dark green coat over her dance costume and her hair was in a updo.
Baatar entered the theater and was really amazed by how nicely decorated it was. He was wearing dark green suit and black green coat with silver necklace. He was searching for Kuvira but couldn't see her anywhere.
Baatar, Huan, Opal, twins and their father went to find their table in the front row. "I will go for something to drink. I will be back soon." Baatar said and his father nodded.
The theater was really crowded and Baatar still couldn't find Kuvira. He walked out of the auditorium to the corridor and went to the backstage. In the corridor there were metal walls with huge windows on one side and dark green carpet on the floor.
"Pssst...Baatar." someone whispered. Baatar turned and saw Kuvira hidding behind a pillar. Baatar heard that somebody is walking behind him so he slowed down and waited untill they go to the auditorium. When the corridor was empty Baatar quickly ran to Kuvira and joined her behind the pillar.
"Here you are. I couldn't find you." Kuvira whispered and smile dat him. She saw that Baatar is really styled today. He wore nice clothes and his new beard looked really good.
"I couldn't miss seeing you before performance." he smiled at her and caressed her cheek. She smiled at him in return. Baatar could scent Kuvira's lotus parfume and he adored it. She was wearing a coat so he couldn't see her costume but he really liked her new hairstyle with silver tiara on top.
Baatar wrapped his arms around Kuvira's waist and kissed her passionately. She wrapped her arms around his neck and they were now hugging thightly.
But then they heard somebody walking. The performance will start soon and Kuvira had to go. She quickly kissed him on his cheek and whispered to his ear: "Today... I am dancing just for you..." Baatar could feel her warm breath on his neck and Kuvira's lips were touching his ear while whispering. He looked directly into her eyes with smile on his face and then saw Kuvira running to backstage. Baatar waited till the corridor will be empty again and then returned back to auditorium.
Baatar came to his family's table and his father asked: "Where is your drink?" Baatar realized he told them that he's going for a drink. He was now nervous. "There was a long queue. I will have something to drink later." he said and his father nodded. When Baatar sat down to their table Huan gave him a suspicious look but didn't say anything.
At the same time Kuvira was preparing with other dancers and Suyin in backstage. All dancers had light green kimonos with waterlily pattern and dark green silk belt. But Kuvira's costume was different from others. She will dance the main part in the center of the stage. She took off her coat and ran on the stage. There was a giant waterlily made of metal which will be used in the show. All lights were off and dancers were ready. Kuvira took a deep breath and curtains started to open. The show could begin...
In the auditorium all visitors were on their places. Baatar sat on his chair and saw that lights are switching off... then the curtains started to open… The stage was beautiful. All dancers were standing in the circle around giant waterlily flower and there were blue and green lights on the stage. And in the middle of the scenery there was painted full moon. But Baatar was confused. He couldn't see Kuvira anywhere. Then the orchestra started to play...

All dancers started to move synchronously around the waterlily in the circle. Their moves were slow, smooth and perfect. They used their metalbending to remove one layer of petals from the waterlily with every circle and then the violin started to play.
Baatar still couldn't see Kuvira. "Where are you?" he thought for himself. The melody was really beautiful and Baatar started to realize what the theme was... full moon, midnight, lights...
The dancers were now opening the waterlily flower completly and it was blooming... The violin played so smoothly and that music was precious... as well as the center of the bloom. Kuvira was there. She was hidden inside of that waterlily all the time... she was wearing long white dress with long sleeves and silver belt around her waist. Silver tiara rested on her head and Baatar noticed that Kuvira was wearing the hair slide which he gave to her for her birthday. Baatar now knew what the theme of the dance was. Kuvira was the Lake Fairy... and she was gorgeous...
The music was now a little faster but still smooth. Kuvira started to dance her solo part... she was dancing on her tip toes and was elegant as a swan. She was like an angel. Every move was perfect and beautiful. Baatar remembered these moves. He saw them almost five monts ago in the gym. He fell in love with Kuvira that day... Baatar sat on his place and couldn't take his eyes from her...
Kuvira used her bending to fly on a metal cable and other dancers join her. She was dancing for him. She wanted to be his fairy...
When she landed on the stage her dance continued. The music was so emotional... She saw Baatar in the crowd and looked into his eyes. "I love you." she sent him a quiet messege with that glance.
He was starring at her with love in his eyes. Baatar was hypnotized by her beauty... she was magical. "I love you Kuvira." he responded with smile on his face.
Then the music ended...the dance was over and dancers bowed. All people in the crowd were clapping and Kuvira was happy that they got standing ovation. They practised a lot and she hoped Baatar liked it as well.
Baatar was clapping loudly and still couldn't take his eyes from Kuvira. She was on the stage and was bowing with other dancers. "That was sooo beautiful." Opal said and her brothers and father agreed. "She is beautiful." Baatar thought for himself.
There will be more dance performances but Kuvira was dancing only in this one. She dissapeared in backstage and Baatar wanted to see her really badly. He excused himself and walked out of the auditorium. Huan gave him that suspicious look again but let his brother leave.
Baatar went to the corridor and he hided behind the pillar where he talked with Kuvira before. After a while he saw group of dancers leaving backstage. They were laughing and chatting but Kuvira wasn't with them...
Kuvira was still in backstage. She was searching for Baatar's birthday gift in her bag but couldn't find it anywhere. She had to forget it at home. "Kuvira are you going with us?" Lia asked and Kuvira turned at her. "No. Go without me. I need to sort something out..." Lia nodded and left with other dancers.
Kuvira walked out of backstage a while later and searched for Baatar. She hoped he liked that dance performance... When she opened the door from backstage she saw Baatar already waiting for her with smile on his face. Kuvira closed the door and ran closer to Baatar. She was still wearing her white dress and he was starring at her. They hugged and Baatar lift Kuvira up. "It was so beautiful... You were beautiful. I thought I was dreaming." Baatar said and Kuvira was blushing. "I am happy you liked it." she replied and rested her forhead on his. He put her back on the ground and kissed her softly.
They were hiding behind the pillar and Baatar said: "Let's get out of here." Kuvira nodded. Baatar took her hand and they ran together out of the theater. They used back entrance and ran to the central block. The streets were empty. All people were in the theater or on the Zaofu square. Baatar and Kuvira stopped near to the big fountain in the central block and sat on the edge of it. It was already dark and it was cloudy.
They held hands and Baatar said: "Long ago when you had a night watch and you asked me who the Lake Fairy was... you knew it already, didn't you?" he had a mischievous smile on his face.
Kuvira smiled and said: "I did... I just wanted to stay with you on that balcony...That's why I asked."
Baatar laughe and then looked into her beautiful eyes. He gently caressed her cheek but when his hand touched her cheek... it was really cold.
It was already October and Kuvira was wearing just her white dress. Baatar quickly took off his coat and put it on Kuvira's shoulders.
"What are you doing? I am not cold." Kuvira said.
"I know you are cold. You just wouldn't admit it. I know you too well." Baatar replied and he was right. Kuvira was a Zaofu guard. She never showed her weaknesses or insecurities infront of anyone. But Baatar knew her... she opened her heart and mind for him.
Kuvira then accepted his coat and took it on. It was too big for her but the coat was warm and it scented like Baatar. She really liked it...
They chatted for a while and then a raindrop fell on Kuvira's hand and she looked up to the sky. It was even cloudier than before. Baatar did the same thing and raindrop landed on his forhead. "We should go back to the theater till that rain gets worse." Baatar said and stood up. Then Kuvira realized something.
"We can go to my apartment." she said nervously and caught Baatar's attention. "It's not too far and I have a birthday present for you there." Kuvira added and Baatar nodded with smile. He have never been in Guard's residence before.
They ran hand in hand and rain was getting worse. The Guard's residence was almost empty now. Most guards were on a duty today and the rest of guards were in the theater or with their families. Kuvira and Baatar used back entrance and sneaked to the staircase. The janitor was usually asleep so it wasn't that difficult. The Guard's residence looked like every other house in Zaofu. It was built of metal and decorated with green lights and tiles.
Kuvira still held Baatar's hand. Her apartment was on the highest floor of the Guard's Residence and when they got there Kuvira used her metalbending to unlock the door. She turned the lights on and they walked in.
The apartment was really beautiful and organised. Just like Kuvira herself... The walls were light green and there were dark green carpets on the floor. Living room was connected with kitchen and in other rooms there was Kuvira's bedroom and bathroom. Most of the furniture was made of metal and the rest of it was green or fair yellow color.
"Wow... it's really nice here." Baatar said and walked closer to the window.
Kuvira saw that Baatar was looking out of the window so she quickly searched for his birthday present. She found it on the table and then quietly walked closer to Baatar.
"Now I understand why you picked this roof apartment. The view is amazing." Baatar said and turned at Kuvira. She was standing right behind him and was hiding something behind her back.
Kuvira walked closer to him with smile on her face and kissed him softly. "Happy birthday Baatar." she said and gave him the gift.
Baatar smiled at her and said: "Wow. Thank you Kuvira." Baatar was amazed by the belt.
"This belt has hidden magnets in it so you can attach your tools to it and won't have to search for them in your laboratory or while assemblying." Kuvira explained.
"That's actually really smart. Thank you Kuvira." Baatar replied with smile. He really liked it and knew he will be using it a lot. He took Kuvira's hand to his and kissed it softly.
"I know how chaotic you can be. And your laboratory as well." Kuvira giggled and Baatar pretended to be offended but started to laugh as well.
She is so beautiful when she's smiling... Baatar thought for himself and put his birthday gift on the table close to the window. He put his hands on her cheeks and wanted to kiss her so badly but he didn't want to push her to something. Baatar still felt guilty for what happened last time...
Kuvira saw that Baatar is insecure. She knew why... She put her hands on his cheeks and quietly whispered: "Kiss me Baatar..." her voice was sweet. She was scared month ago but now... she wanted to feel his kisses all over her body. She wanted to feel Baatar's warm skin on hers again.
Baatar looked into her eyes. He wanted to hold her thightly and kiss every spot on her body... "Are you sure you want it?" Baatar asked quietly. He wanted to be sure he won't do something what would be uncomfortable for her.
"I want it...I want you..." Kuvira said decisively and her cheeks were blushing.
Baatar smiled at her and put strand of hair from her face behind the ear and his hand stayed on her cheek. Kuvira's arms were wrapped around Baatar's neck and they started kissing.
The kisses were soft and sensual. Baatar loved her lotus parfume and the waves of electricity run through his body like last time...His hands traveled Kuvira's lower back and he started kissing her neck. She moaned quietly in return.
Kuvira felt that hunger again. She leaned her head back so Baatar could kiss her neck easily. Her arms were now around Baatar's waist and he started to kiss her left shoulder... Kuvira loved Baatar's warm lips on her skin and she kissed him passionately in return while her hands traveled his back.
Baatar saw that Kuvira was still wearing his long coat which he gave to her. He put his hands on her shoulders and helped her take it off...The coat fell on the floor and Kuvira was standing there in her white dress... She was like a dream.
"You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." Baatar said while looking into her eyes.
Kuvira blushed and smiled. She bited her lip and then kissed Baatar even more passionately then before."I love you so much." Kuvira whispered between kisses and wrapped arms around his neck.
Baatar wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up. Kuvira wrapped her legs around Baatar's waist and his hands now traveled down to Kuvira's butt. She could feel it again...something was pusning on her inner thigh. Baatar moaned when he felt that Kuvira's leg was touching that place. He held her thightly and carried her to the couch.
Kuvira's shoes fell on the floor when Baatar carried her to the living room. His arms were so strong and Kuvira felt waves of electricity running from her neck to toes.
Baatar sat down on the couch and Kuvira straddled her legs around him. She sat on his lap and they were face to face. They were so close to each other...Baatar rested his hands on Kuvira's back and then he caressed her tighs and butt.
Kuvira kissed Baatar's forhead and then carefully took off his glasses. He looked so different without it. She put it on the table next to the couch and turned on a small lamp. Then she smiled at him.
Baatar moaned when he felt that Kuvira started to move slowly with her hips in a rythm so it was rubbing his crotch. "Oh Kuvira..."he said with mischievous smile.
Kuvira smiled back at him. She enjoyed these moves as well...she wanted to feel Baatar's member more and more and with every move... she felt something is going on inside of her... she wanted more..."Do you like it as much as I do?" Kuvira whispered seductivly.
"I love it." Baatar replied and his hands now traveled to her hair. He removed silver tiara and hair slide from Kuvira's hair and put it on the table next to his glasses. Kuvira's long hair fell on her shoulders...Baatar realized he never saw her with her hair down. She always had a braid or hair bun... but now she looked so beautifly wild...
The kissing continued… later Kuvira took off Baatar's metal neklace with her bending and threw it on the floor. In reaction Baatar started to caress Kuvira's thighs under her skirt and he was kissing her chest which caused her moaning even more. "B..Baatar." she moaned. Kuvira loved when his hands touched her bare skin and started to take his t-shirt and jacket off.
"I want you so bad." Baatar said and kissed her close to her neckline. He took off his jacket and t-shirt and threw it away. He was now shirtless and only had his trousers. Kuvira couldn't stop looking at his muscular body. She was blushing and started kissing Baatar's chest...Kuvira's hands traveled his arms and chest and she could feel his fast heartbeat... Kuvira smiled and put a soft kiss on the place on Baatar's chest where his heart was.
Baatar leaned his head back and moaned... It all felt so good. Kuvira was still sitting on him and her hips were rubbing his lap. Their breathing was fast. Baatar put his hands on Kuvira's back and his fingers found a bow on her silk belt. Kuvira wore a wrap dress so if he would remove a belt then Kuvira's body would be revealed. He looked into Kuvira's eyes and asked for permition. Kuvira nodded and Baatar untied the belt. It fell on the floor and the dress opened... Kuvira's beautiful body was revealed.
"Wow" Baatar gasped. He was amazed. Kuvira was wearing white underwear and the memory of seeing her like that in the cave filled his mind. He didn't know how long he will be able to control himself...
Kuvira smiled at him and gained courage to do something... She threw her dress on the floor and then she unhooked her bra. She was a bit shy but expression on Baatar's face comforted her.
Baatar was speachless. He wanted to look into Kuvira's eyes but he couldn't... her breasts were perfect. They weren't small and they weren't big... they were like a dream. Baatar's body started to react even more. Kuvira wrapped her arms around Baatar's neck and he could feel her breasts touching his chest. Baatar kissed her passionately and his arms traveled her bare back. Her skin was warm and smooth like silk.
"You can touch them." Kuvira whispered to Baatar's ear and she gasped when he started to caress and kiss her breasts. It felt amazing... Kuvira was shaking when his lips moved to her nipples. She had her hands i Baatar's hair and it was now really messy.

Kuvira knew it...she thought about it a lot lately but she really wanted to be with Baatar this way. Like one body, one soul... She wanted to feel him inside of her. She once heard girls talking on a dance practise about ways how to prevent pregnancy.
"We will have to be careful... if we'll stop in the right moment... it should be safe." Kuvira said nervously. "and...there are safe days in a cycle as well."
Baatar thought about it for a while. He really wanted to do it but was still concerned. Should they take that risk? He thought for himself.
"We will be fine." Kuvira said quietly and rested her forhead on Baatar's. "I want to be with you this way."
"I want it too." Baatar replied and kissed her softly. "Hold on." he said with smile and Kuvira wrapped her legs and arms around him. Then he stood up and carried Kuvira to her bedroom while kissing her wildly.
Kuvira's bed was in the middle of the room and it was made of metal. There were light green bedsheets and on the floor there was dark green carpet. Walls were fair yellow. On the left side there was a door to bathroom and wardrobe. On the right side was window and bookcase.
Baatar and Kuvira entered the bedroom and turned on a small lamp. They climbed to the middle of the bed together. Kuvira laid down and she could feel cold bedsheets on her warm back. Baatar was on the top of her and Kuvira spread her legs so Baatar could be closer to her. He started to kiss her and one of his hand caressed Kuvira's thigh.

"Thank you Kuvira." he gave her a smile and kissed Kuvira. This was his best birthday ever. He was holding the smartest and the most beautiful girl in his arms and everything was perfect...
