Happy Father's Day!

I do not own.

It was 3 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon at the domestic abode of the sixth deadliest man in the world. Six was trying to finish his paperwork in his office. He scowled at the piles of paper in his in box. He had been letting them accumulate for days. Now he was paying the price. He sighed as he pulled another sheet from the top and read through the form. Loud music interrupted his train of thought. His head perked up as he listened. It wasn't the terrible pop music of the day nor was it the loud head banging stuff Rex listens to. It sounded like classical music accompanied by giggling… lots of it. It was very… distracting. He was having a hard time concentrating. Finally, after trying to ignore it to no avail, he opened the door of his office.

"Keep down the noise." He yelled. Then he stopped as two little girls froze in surprise. They were outside his door in ballet outfits. Jasmine immediately shrunk back. A pang of guilt hit Six. But Jade shut off the music and smiled as she ran to him.

"Happy Father's Day, daddy! Jasmine and me are practicing a dance for you!" Jade said. Jasmine gave a shy nod.

"Oh, that's… nice." Six felt worse.

"Yeah, you want to see?" Jade smiled.

Six thought of the pile of work that he still had to do. "Well, I have a lot of work…" He stopped when he saw their crestfallen faces. "But that can wait." He closed the door to his office. "Let's see what you've got." Jade's face brightened. Even Jasmine managed a smile.

Jade grabbed his hand and led him to the couch in the living room. Jasmine turned the music back on. Six watched as his little daughters twirled, giggled, and pranced around the room. When they finished, he politely clapped.

"Well, I have to get back to…" He began.

"Wait, daddy! We're not done. You have to dance with me." Jade interjected.

Six blinked at his daughter as she grabbed his hands. Pulling with all her might, she tried to get him up. Six pushed himself up. She only reached his waist. Reaching her little arms she hugged his middle. Placing each of her feet on his feet, she looked expectantly at him.

Instead of being annoyed, a small smile crept onto his face. "Okay, I guess I will lead then." He began moving his feet rhythmically with her feet on his. It was very awkward and somewhat uncomfortable but the squeals of delight from his daughter more than made up for that.

When they were done, he looked at Jasmine who stepped back.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked her gently.

Jasmine seemed to think about it. Hesitatingly, she approached him. Six waited. Jasmine didn't step on Six's feet. Instead she held his hands. They started moving back and forth but before long he picked her up and swung her around. She soon forgot her fear and began laughing.

"No fair! I want to swing too." Jade protested.

"You're next." Six promised.

Three hours later Holiday and Kenji came home to find Six and the twins still dancing in the living room.

"Dinner." Their mom announced as she held out the take out bags. "Go clean up."

"Yay! Real food!" The girls cheered as they ran upstairs. Kenji ran up as well.

Six wanted to laugh at the chagrin on his wife's face but he knew better.

"Happy Father's Day." She shook off her irritation and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Six took the bags from her hand. He could smell the Kung pao chicken from the bag.

"Thank you." He said.

"Get much work done?" She asked.

"The important ones, yes." He replied as he began setting the table.
